Eclipse’s POV

I was just about to get comfy on my dad’s chest but he shifted and picked me up, now we were face to face and he had a slight grin on his beak.

“So my lovely little daughter, do you have anything you want to tell me?”

“Um like what daddy?”

“Sigh* drop the act, you’re a human right. Well not physically but spiritually and you can wipe that look of fear off your beak, I was also human once.”

“What are you going on about daddy? Heh heh heh….”

“Real convincing there Eclipse, you need to work on that my little menace.”

“Wha? Um wait so I’m gonna presume you were British dad…. So how does it work? Did I get reincarnated because you were human or is it just coincidence?”

“No idea dear.”

“So I umm well I’m was from America…. But I spent most my time in hospitals, I was 13 when I died but now that you know I’m not actually your daughter what now? Does mom and princess Celestia know?!?”

“No they don’t, they don’t know I was human either. I’ve said nothing on the matter because I’m not human anymore, so it’s not relevant to my current situation…. And yes you are still my daughter, I see you as my daughter and you are genetically mine.”

“Oh but it’s still a bit weird…. I mean I’ve gotten used to calling you dad as well as Silver and Celestia mom, I also think it’s for the best that they don’t know.”

“It’s easier and like I said, it’s not relevant but you can act yourself when it’s just us two just let your mothers…. Well mother you dear.”

“So are you still going to act like my dad?”

“Yeah of course, I am your dad but that doesn’t mean i demand you to act your age, mentally you are older, 13 years older. I see nothing wrong with messing with your mothers but don’t go too hard on them, okay.”

“Heheheheheh~ good because you’re a great dad…. I lucky that you’re also good looking too but I would like some siblings, so like hurry up and get on it dad.” I crossed my forelegs and flicked my beak up into the air.

“I think I’ll take my time, thank you but it would be easier if Celestia allowed me to use my biomancy. Apparently it’s not common for hippogriffs to be born.”

“What? Dad hippogriffs don’t come from a pony and griffon making babies, they live down at Aries mountain.”

“Excuse me but what? Aries mountain? Mhmmmm okay I’ll have to check it out and confirm that but how do you know of a foreign country in this world?”

“Dad because this is Equestria, from my little pony…. The show?”

“Okay what are you talking about sweetie?” He for once had a confused look on his face.

He really doesn’t know? He actually has no clue what I’m on about, he’s completely clueless and yet he’s living the fantasy of so many people.

He literally shares a bed with princess Celestia, they’re literally dating and he has no clue that so many people would kill to be here.

“Okay okay let’s slow down, what was your human name?”

“My name was Rachel but Eclipse is a better name.”

“Good because your mom named you that, so as for this show…. My little?”

“My little pony dad.”

“Yes that, elaborate for me.”

“Well I think it takes place in the future because princess luna isn’t around and Celestia doesn’t have a personal student. But that means that we know what happens in the future.”

“Mmmmm that’s interesting…. Do you know the date the show takes place?”

“Um no…. Oh actually I might, the first episode states that it’s the 1000’s year of the summer sun celebration.”

“Okay good, well you can talk to me about it another time, the day is just begun and I have some business to deal with.”

“But you’re sick?”

“Hahahahah hah no I’m fine.”

And he got up with ease, then taking himself to the bathroom and closed the door on me.

“Huff* rude.”

Five minutes later he came out and used his magic to pick me up and place me on his back, a portal opened and we were in a large room that looked way too modern to be Equestrian.

“Um dad?”

“Yes?”

“What the heck is this place?”

“Oh I haven’t opened the shutters, give me a second.”

“Wha?…”

The shutters opened and we were under water, I was taking it all in but just couldn’t comprehend the beauty of the ocean. Everything from sea serpents and krakens to tiny schools of fish and sting rays went about their business unfazed by us.

“This is the Atlanta Station of the Necro Arms Company, my newly formed company as of this morning.”

He began to press some buttons and fiddle with some test tubes.

“And how did you make this?”

“I just used creation, nothing too difficult.”

“But why?”

“Because I’d rather not conduct certain experiments in the capital or Equestria itself, we are outside of its borders. Here I mainly manufacture weapons like magic-tech shotguns and high pressure Salt water particle rifles.”

“Okay so are you like some kind of war lord?”

“Nope, but weapons will always be a valuable asset because nations will always want an edge over their enemies and allies.”

“I don’t follow but this isn’t really my thing dad.”

“Understandable but the manufacturing of weapons isn’t why I don’t want this place near Equestria.”

“No? Is it because of Celestia?”

“No it’s because I’m tinkering with some nasty little crustacean like parasites.”

“Dad!!!”

“What!!!!!”

I fell back on his back out of surprise.

“Sorry, if i scared you.”

“Um no it’s fine but why? This is some…. Resident evil shit!”

“Language young lady and the hell is Resident evil?”

“Nothing dad, old man.”

“Hey I’m not that old, anyway this is only one of 3 places I have under ground research bunkers I have dear.”

“Okay dad I’m going to say it now, you have some unresolved issues or something. What happened to you, did you grow up in a lab or something?”

He stopped and slowly turned to look at me.

“I did actually, human experimentation but don’t look down like that. Now I’m the one experimenting sweetie.”

“Oh um sorry dad, I didn’t know….”

“Forget about it, but no telling your mothers about this.”

“I pinky promise dad, our little secret.”

“That’s my girl, so let’s get back home.”

“Open the portal daddy!!”

He made a portal and we jump through.

We were now in a castle study room, mother was trying to study but she looked like her brain was about to explode.

“dad why is mom struggling with reading?”

“Because she’s got too much on her mind already, so let’s help her with understanding the material. Plus I’d like to read that book myself, it might be of help to me and my future business ventures.”

“Okay now dad, let’s not get all world domination over here.”

“I won’t, I’m just getting all business tycoon and stuff, I’ve already got a product to sell. Just need the know how, I’ve got drugs, weapons and valuable information.”

Is my dad some kind of cartel drug lord?!?!

“I know what you’re thinking…. And no, I’m not a drug lord. I was referring to medication.”

“Oh…. Well that’s good but what about the guns?”

“Equestria’s army needs to be armed, so I made enough weapons to do so and then some. When they need them, Celestia will buy them for a discounted price.”

“Sounds like some super villain stuff dad to me.”

“Well it’s not and I’m not so ignorant to claim that I’m a good guy but I’m definitely not a bad guy either.”

“Sure thing dad, but the first step to healing is to address your issues.”

“Are you trying to get grounded?”

“Nope I’ll stop.”

“Good…. So are you struggling there honey?”

“Eep!! Anubis? Wha? Wait um no…. Heh hehe heh no I’m doing fine Nubie.”

Dad approached her and she looked embarrassed for some reason, then I saw it.

In the textbook was a trashy romance novel that I only got a glimpse of before she tossed it under the desk.

“Tisk* tisk* really? Am I not romantic enough for you?”

“Heh heh heh…. Look it couldn’t hurt to be a little more romantic every now and again.”

“Ooooh okay sure, we are going off to your parents in the next week if I’m remembering correctly. So we’ll let your parents take care of Eclipse as long as your dad doesn’t act aggressive…. we'll go on a lovely little date in the capital.”

“Sigh* that sounds wonderful Nubie, I can show you around….”

Mom then proceeded to lean back against dad whilst staring off into space.

“So will I get to see my grandma and grandpa?”

“Yes you will sweetheart, they’ll love you so much.”

Heheh I hope so, for their sakes. Dad doesn’t seem like he’ll accept anything less than complete love from them to me.

“I can’t wait to meet them mommy!”

“I can’t nether.” My mother pinched my cheeks and then kissed my dad, I ended up getting a close look at how griffons kiss.

It’s weird but fascinating….

“Anubis, what about Celestia? You and her don’t seem to do anything romantic?”

“We do but it’s not your definition of romantic dear, her and I like to read or practice spells and sometimes things get a little experimental.”

“Oh oooh um wow, like how experimental?”

“If only I could tell you honey, but our idea of a romantic night is sitting by the fireplace and cozying up with a book, just talking about stuff.”

“What sort of stuff daddy?” Now I was curious.

“Literally anything, history, theories and anything that comes up, she’s recently been curious about my hunting habits for some reason…. Not sure what she’s planning.”

“Mhmmm I might have an idea but I’m gonna hold off until we’re alone Nubie.”

“Hey I want to know!!”

“Sorry Eclipse, your mother has spoken.”

“If it’s something naughty, I want to know!”

Mom’s face turned red and I knew I was onto something good, so I made up a little lie.

“Huff* it’s not like mommy Cel could be planning to do anything as bad as mommy’s love books.”

“Eep! Um what?!? Heh heheh he….”

“Really now…. Silverfeather? I think we should have a little chat about where you hide these books.”

“Shit….”

“Gasp* mommy said a swear!!!”

“OH!! MY!! GOD!!” Daddy had his claws pressed against his cheeks, pulling a funny face.

“So what? I can totally swear whenever I want.”

“Daddy she’s getting angry….”

“Don’t worry Eclipse, your incredibly handsome and bloody gorgeous father will protect you!”

Mom just gave him a flat look and slumped over the desk.

Dad walked up behind her and leaned against her, scratching her like a cat. I shot him a shocked look as my mother began purring, my shock turned to disappointment in my mom.

“Purrrrrrrrrrrr~ oh thanks Anubis…. Purrrr~ purrrr~ mhmmm Celestia doesn’t know what she’s missing out on, she should totally let you scratch under her wings.”

“Mhmmmmm yeah…. Fascinating, this book is most useful to me my dear. Mind if I read it?”

“Purrrrrr~ no not at all my stud….”

“Good….”

“Mommy is it really that good?” At this point it looked to relaxing to pass up, I couldn’t help myself.

“Oh it is baby, your dad can do it all, from scratching to massages. He’s a wizard with those claws, they just hit the right spots every time it’s…. Purrrrrr~ oh yeah.”

And I’ve lost her again, great…. I looked to my dad who was focused on the book that my mom was meant to be studying and he didn’t even notice my mother weakly kicking him with her hind leg.

At this point, I couldn’t tell if she was more cat like or dog like…. But it definitely looked like a great time, I should give them some privacy.

“Daddy? Can I get down and explore the castle?”

“Oh sure, just be careful.” I slid down his back and made a beeline for the door.

“I will, bye daddy love you!”

“Love you too Eclipse.”

So I have a lot to unpack here…. Dad knows I was human, he was also human and he wants to play monopoly with Equestria but like evil monopoly.

I have come to the conclusion that my dad might be evil or at least a bit evil…. But probably just evil and I’m not exactly sure how to feel about it.

He isn’t trying to take over Equestria as far as I know but he is doing some serious Resident Evil shit, that’s probably worse than trying to take over….

Zombie ponies.

I shook the thought.

I walked up to the first guard I could see and asked her where princess Celestia was.

“Excuse me? Where’s mommy Celestia?”

“Um I’m not currently aware of her location princess Eclipse, we can go find her if you wish?”

“Yep but can I ride on your back.” I inspected my little legs and huffed in annoyance at their size or lack of.

“Heheheh why of course my lady.”

I climbed on and got comfy, then the guard began to walk at a brisk pace in search of one lang legged Alicorn mare.

But on the way we passed a part of the castle that was different from the rest, it was decorated in the theme of the night and I immediately knew who’s it was.

So I made the guard go back and told him to head down the hall, he was unsure until i jumped off and went myself.

Now with my guard escort, we made our way to a set of stairs and got to climbing.

I don’t know how long it was but all I know is that I want to take a nap on the softest thing I can find but not before seeing Luna’s bedroom.

We got to the double doors and I asked the guard to open them, he did and we were met with a very clean and stunning view of the princess of the night’s bedroom.

I immediately had a moment of genius and asked the guard to take a note, he pulled out a note pad and pencil.

“Well I wasn’t expecting that but thanks…. Now write what I say.”

“Of course your highness,”

“Greetings from…. Write the year it is down.”

“Yes, done.”

“Good. My name is princess Eclipse Grimgost and I’m writing to you from the past because I think you are best princess.”

“Is that all?”

“Yep all done, now let’s leave it here and go.”

“Um sure Princess Eclipse but who’s princess Luna?”

“Doesn’t matter, now let’s go!”

Thankfully the trip was a lot easier for me because I had a guard to carry me down the endless I will staircase.

We were just about to make it back to the normal part of the castle when I saw the maid.

“shoot stop…. Okay she’s gone, forward charge.”

“Wow good spot princess, let’s get going now.”

We quickly went the opposite way to my father’s maid but somehow bumped right into her grinning muzzle.

“So princess Eclipse, mind explaining what you and this guards-stallion was doing in the restricted part of the castle?”

“Um exploring?”

“Sigh* young lady where is your father and mothers?”

“Don’t know, we were looking but got distracted…. Do you know where mommy Celestia is?”

“Please follow me.”

My ride complied and followed her, I felt bad for not knowing his name but more importantly how did she get in front of us?

Meanwhile back in Celestia’s private study midday

The alabaster Alicorn sat at her desk frustrated and worried about the nobles reaction to hearing that a long-eared griffon is responsible for the murder of two ponies.

They had already assumed that he was responsible for the other murders but there was no evidence to support that claim.

That wasn’t the frustrating part, no that was the fact that they had come to the conclusion that Anubis was responsible. Solely because he was the only known long-eared griffon around.

Smash!!!*

She had dashed her now empty glass against her desk, said desk creaked in pain from the force.

“I had already stated that he was with princess Silverfeather at the time but those GRRRRRRAH* fools refuse to listen…. Sigh* I’m not any better, I blame him too…. I can only hope the public doesn’t think that.”

“Mhmmmm I have a suggestion.”

She teleported the broken glass away and hid the bottle of wine underneath her desk.

“Eep! Oh it’s just you Fenrick, please don’t sneak up on me.”

“Terribly sorry but you make it so very easy to do, so has he bit the bait?”

“Sigh* not now, he hasn’t and I nearly messed up any chance of him doing so to….”

“How so? Explain.”

“No…. Just leave me.”

“Maybe but no, you WILL bear his cubs and you WILL stop being so down in the dumps as well. So why are you moping around instead of spending time with him?”

“Because I messed up and I also have a job to do as ruler of Equestria, so leave me alone Fenrick!”

Tears were welling up in the Alicorn’s eyes.

“Sigh* judging by this on your desk, your subjects believe that he’s a monster?”

“No…. Just the nobles…. and maybe the public, I have no idea what to do to fix it. I even announced the engagement of him and princess Silverfeather but they still want to go after him.”

“Go after him? How so.”

“Getting him locked up….”

“Well has he helped in any major ways that would suggest that he’s a greater benefit than a problem.”

“Um…. The weapons that can kill the Dream Spirits, that alone has saved a great number of lives.”

“There you go, now think about anything else.”

“The medicine that he’s making with that new research group I’ve given him…. Yeah if I wait until he’s made a new drug or antibiotic that’s better, then I can nominate him to be dubbed a Equestria noble. That would allow me to marry him without any legal complications from the noble cast.”

“Now you’re thinking girl.”

“Thanks Fenrick.”

“You’re welcome.”

Knock* Knock* Knock*

“Umm one moment please!”

“Of course your highness.”

“We’ll speak again at another time princess.” Fenrick nuzzled Celestia on top of her head before vanishing into the grimoire.

“Come in!”

The door opened and a guard let Anubis enter her private study, he was carrying a large grin with a prideful gleam in his eyes. In his claws was some small box.

“Well some-griff’s happy, what have you got there?”

“Heheheheh something great my dear, it’s past testing and is completely safe for use by all pony tribes and even griffons too.”

“Okay but what is safe?”

“This new drug Celestia! It’s a headache tablet that also helps to lower stress levels.”

“Sigh* can I have one or two then?”

“Do you have a headache?”

“No…. Just stressed out.”

“If it’s about last night, then forget about it. I forgive you dear but you will have to make it up to me.”

“Oh my Anubis….” She was blushing but then the events of this morning and previous night played out in her mind. “Sigh* maybe another time, I…. We have a problem, it involves the nobles.”

“Oh well I’ll hold off on explaining further details about my new headache tablet and let’s sort this out.”

“On no it’s fine.”

“No it’s not, ether talk to me about it or do you want to relax with a spell book.”

“That sounds nice.”

Anubis then pushed the Alicorn mare over to a large cushion and then flipped her over, he then laid across her barrel and levitated one of many spell books over to them.

They got comfortable and Celestia began teaching him traditional magic which he was borderline terrible at.

But Celestia loved to try and teach him anyway, she knew he would get better and take in the knowledge but his mana pool was average at best.

She truly thought it was a shame that his soul energy didn’t convert into mana but at least he had something, which was more that she could ask for.

Not to mention the terrifying capabilities of Anubis’s creation, it was limitless possibilities. The same went for his biomancy but that was because of his own knowledge about biology.

She had noticed that he was reading less biology books and more chemistry and physics books than before, a result of his own curiosity she thought.

Then a flurry of knocks rang out from the doors of the study.

“Sigh* well it was nice whilst it lasted, smooch*” she got up and went over to her desk. “Come in please!”

Cloudy Nights came in with a guard and on top of said guard was Eclipse, she jumped off the guard and gracefully face planted into the marble floor.

Everycreature but Anubis all made a shocked noise upon witnessing it but the large griff just laughed at his daughter.

This somehow made the cub forget about the pain and shoot up, glaring at her dad.

“Hey don’t laugh at me! Evil daddy!”

“But you’re just too funny my little menace.”

“Huff* I am not!”

“Oh yes you are.”

He got up and made his way to his daughter and picked her up in his wings, she instinctively began to nuzzle up to him.

“No….”

“Okay you’re only a little funny.”

“Ummm but only a little bit.”

“Aaaaawww Eclipse, come here.”

The little cub reached out from the cradle of feathers, Celestia grabs her with her magic and levitated Eclipse to her.

“Let me take a look at your head, I need to check if you hurt yourself or anything sweetie.”

“I’m fine.”

“Not until I say so, now stop moving.”

“Huff* happy?”

“Yes, you need to be careful Eclipse.”

“She’s right, you can’t jump off high places without knowing how to fly.”

“Fine mom and dad, I’ll be careful…. But I’m bored, let’s go do something!”

“Mhmmm that sounds like a great idea, what do you say Celestia?”

“I’d love to but.”

“Just use a disguise.”

“Wha? Oh no that’s not the problem, it’s just…. Maybe going out in the city isn’t such a good idea as of right now.”

“I take it the noble pricks have convinced the easily influenced populace to suspect me as the Canterlot Carver.”

“Yeah…. It’s frustrating because you have an alibi.”

“Oh get over it, I have a plan to deal with it anyway but it’ll have to be a public announcement…. So much for working behind the scenes.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes I am, trust in me my dear, it’ll workout for us but I’ll have to announce the pharmaceutical company and weapons company that is working directly for her highness.”

“Oh my~ you sly griff, I like that but what about the nobles?”

“Princess Blood my dear, she will happily take my side in the matter.”

“Huff* you must be joking.”

“I’m not, I have a verbal contract for her loyalty, I mean has she been pestering you as of late?”

“No…. What did you do, Anubis Grimgost?”

“Gasp* she used daddy full name!”

“Nothing much, just made sure that she is playing for the right team and benefits from it. In return, she supports me financially and keeps me informed of valuable opportunities that would peak my fancy.”

“I don’t like that but as long as you aren’t paying for her loyalty with your body.”

“As tempting as it was, I payed a different way.”

“And what way was that?”

“You’ll see…. Now let’s go to the Whitetail Woods for a lunch and tea, what do you say Eclipse?”

“Yay!!! Picnic!!!”

“Sigh* okay Mr mysterious…. Let’s get Silver, I could do with some downtime. Heh I’m actually ahead of my schedule, all the internal affairs are taken care of…. Well as much as they can be at the moment.”

“Good, oh and I need to chat with you, I want to open a tea plantation and company, I’ve been experimenting with plants and made my secret blend into a tea leaf.”

Celestia’s ears perked up and all her attention was on the griff’s words.

“R-really?”

“Yes but I’d need the land, in a warm climate and it’ll bring a staggering number of new jobs and professions to the public, it’s a win win win situation.”

“So how much do you want?”

“Only a hundred acres my dear, I need not money or resources.”

“Only if I receive a guaranteed supply of tea.”

“Agreed, but let’s not get distracted now, we still have a picnic to go on.”

“Yes, let’s.”

“Finally! Hurry up mommy cel, dad! Let’s get mommy and go!!”

“Okay okay Eclipse, come on Celestia.”

Roughly about half a hour later Anubis, princess Celestia and Silverfeather and little eclipse landed just on the edge of the Whitetail Woods.

Eclipse was eager to get down from her father’s back whilst Celestia began to set up the blanket and food she had happily made for everycreature.

“Easy there Eclipse, I’ll get you down in a second just wait.”

“Heheheheh~ she’s adorable when she’s excited my Nubie…. but aren’t we a little close to your Manor?”

“Yes but I’m not all that concerned, we’re here to have fun so forget about it. I’ll probably build another one, an official Grimgost estate and keep that one as our private home, hidden away from the world my love.”

“Oh my, how ambitious and since when?”

“Nothing wrong with a bit of ambition and greed, not to mention that I now need to make a name for myself amongst high society my love, especially if I am to be excepted by the nobles of Equestria and the griffon empire…. Why isn’t it called the griffish empire?”

“What? Um okay why would I be called that?”

“Sounds better.”

They began to wonder just out of earshot of the pure white Alicorn and tiny cub.

“I don’t know, but you’re now trying to make yourself one of them?”

“No, I'm going to set an example. I’ll give them a taste of what real high society is my dearest Silver.”

“And what does Celestia think of this?”

“She’s all for it, partly because if we marry, the nobles wouldn’t be able to vote against it because not only would i be royalty but also a noble of Equestria. She hasn’t told me that but i do know that it’s a concern of her’s.”

“Sigh* as long as you don’t become a snobby dork…. And here I thought you were gonna hide behind the scenes Nubie.”

“I planned to but unfortunately because of my proximity to the sun, my shadow has become too large to go unnoticed….”

“But what about the red long-eared griffon that started killing last night?”

“An unexpected surprise but not something I can’t handle.”

“Good but don’t feel afraid to ask for help.”

“I won’t, after all I’m now running a weapons company, a pharmaceutical company and going to be starting a tea company…. But how to transport my goods from Equestria to the griffon empire?”

“Why honey?”

“Because if we all get married, then the empire and Equestria will become extremely close allies or even a singular nation.”

“Oh wow I didn’t think of that but I’m not going to be the one succeeding my parents, I’ve received a letter stating that my baby brother has been born.”

“Doesn't matter, because you’re royal blood.”

“Oh okay, but what about your brother?”

“Him and his subjects will come into the picture only when I deem it necessary to.”

“Okay but as long as we can live happily together as a family Anubis…. I don’t care about wealth, status or anything like that, I just need you, Celestia and Eclipse in my life.”

“You’ll have that and so much more my soon to be wife, so where are we getting married…. And when?”

“I have thought about that but I’m sure you’ll find the right place or just make it.”

“So I’m choosing, that’s brave of you.”

“Oh shut up, let’s join the others before Eclipse and Celestia get impatient with us.”

“Bloody hell, she’s glaring into my soul, yeah I should give her more affection before she tries to take it from me.”

“I think that’s just how Alicorn’s are.”

“Well I wouldn’t change a thing, mhmmm maybe just a few things but nothing major.”

“Shut up.” She smacked him with her wing and they went over to join the other two, who were not happy with being ignored.

They rejoined Celestia and Eclipse, Anubis took a lovely sandwich and got comfortable under the sun whilst Silver used his left wing as shade.

“Daddy what you got there?”

“A chicken and cheese sandwich, do you want to try it deer?”

The little cub nodded and he brought his sandwich down to her but instead of taking a bite from the fresh side, she chomped down on where her father took a bite from.

She then grabbed the sandwich and took the whole thing from her dad, Anubis was given another one by Celestia but Eclipse now wanted that one too.

With a beak full of food and crumbs on her feathers, she reached for her dad’s new sandwich.

“Sigh* I guess I’ll just stave then.” He handed the goods over and his daughter took it in a heartbeat.

“Heheheheh~ it’s fine honey, have some of mine.”

“Sniffle* thanks my lovely wife to be.”

“Anubis, you wouldn’t have this problem if you just didn’t give her your food, I packed for all of us.”

“I know but she’s just too adorable, like a puppy in a basket.”

“Easy with the poetry you silver tongued griff.”

“I kinda like it.”

“That’s what Silver called me when I’m tongue deep in her.”

Both of his mates wings went stiff and Eclipse just looked at her mom in disappointment.

“Mommy?”

“Wha?! No I it aghhh I do not!”

“Mommy’s a pervert, a dirty pervert.”

“B-but I’m not….”

Celestia gave Silver a sympathetic look.
