Author's Note

Shining Armor's got no shortage of fics involving him in diapers or him regressing, so I figured it'd be nice to give him a bit of a break and let him be the more mature one for a change.

Allow me to explain how the voting for characters will work: I'm going to abide by a couple of restrictions.
1. The Cake Twins, Flurry Heart, the CMC and other school aged characters are off-limits as playmates. This is both because I don't want to get into any trouble using underaged characters with a fic that has the "Sex" tag (even if no actual sexual acts occur), and because I can't think of how I would make them work without needing to regress Twilight physically (and possibly mentally).
2. Prince Ecosis said in the original fic's comments that he would reject any votes for Starlight Glimmer or Discord, and I'm going to more or less respect such wishes. No Starlight in this fic also means no Sunburst or Trixie since it wouldn't feel right to have them but not Starlight.
3. Any characters introduced after the beginning of Season 6 cannot be included here, but anyone introduced before then is fair game barring any prior restrictions.
4. The rest of the mane six and Spike were already covered in the original fic, but they can be included as part of a group. Same goes for Cadence.
5. Each commentor is allowed only one vote, if you wish to change your vote you must specify that your previous vote is cancelled.

On the subject of voting, I'll allow voting for about a month and will likely publish the next chapter at the start of October unless I specify otherwise. Happy voting.

B.B.B.F.F. (Shining Armor)

When Twilight finally woke up after having slept in for Celestia knows how long, she was initially quite dismayed to find that there was nopony or any other creature waiting for her. No new playmate. There wasn't even a sign of her mommy anywhere. She was all alone, with only Smarty Pants for company.

Well, no matter, there wasn't anything that needed a mommy's immediate attention. As worried as Twilight might be by Princess Celestia's absence, she knew it was no cause for concern. Not yet, anyways. But the day still looked young, the sun wasn't anywhere close to being high in the sky. It was probably still morning, though it may not be that way for much longer given the sun's position.

"Looks like we have a little time to ourselves this morning, Smarty Pants." Twilight said to her doll as she slowly wiped the sleep out of her eyes, sat up fully in her bed and then got down while clutching her cherished object from foalhood tightly in her hooves.

Smarty Pants just replied. "Really? We're all alone? No Mommy? No playmates?"

Twilight nodded. "It sure looks that way, Smarty Pants. But I'm sure Mommy will be back before long. And until she does, we can play together and do whatever we want."

Yet just then, the door to the room swung open. And in trotted not only Princess Celestia, but also a very recognizable stallion to Twilight. Though the undergarment wrapped around his hindquarters did strike her as odd. It didn't look like a diaper, there were no visible tapes or landing zone. Still, those were matters for another time as the stallion cleared his throat and introduced himself. "Hey, Twily. Guess who got the day off to spend with you?!"

Twilight's eyes widened to the size of dinner plates, and she let out a happy shriek of joy as she embraced the stallion with a snow white coat! "B.B.B.F.F.!"

Princess Celestia flashed a warm and approving smile. "Yes, Twily. I figured you would appreciate the chance to see your big brother again."

Shining Armor couldn't help but snicker when he saw Twilight's diaper. "Still in diapers, huh, Twily? I thought for sure you'd have grown out of them by now," Then he added. "I can't believe you still have Smarty Pants. I thought for sure you'd have given her up by now. What, do you still sleep with her?"

Twilight couldn't help but blush. "What's wrong with that? Don't you still sleep with Brutus Force sometimes?"

"Who told you that?!" Shining exclaimed, before realizing what he was confessing to and he hastily corrected. "I mean... I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Oh, then what's this?" Princess Celestia asked as she levitated over a worn looking stuffed turtle. "I seem to recall you being very insistent that I let you bring this with you today, young colt."

At that Shining let out a happy whiney! "Brutus Force!" He forgot all about trying to save face! Using his magic, he pulled the stuffed turtle close and nuzzled it. "Oh, I've missed you so much, buddy!"

Smarty Pants couldn't help but laugh. "Guess Twily's not the only one in her family who has a snuggle buddy."

Twilight then questioned. "Are you sure it's okay to be here with me, B.B.B.F.F.? What about Cadence, and Flurry Heart?"

Shining waved a hoof. "Oh, don't worry about them. Cadence can take care of Flurry no problem. Don't forget, she's an experienced foalsitter. Plus, she's got Sunburst and an entire castle of guards and staff to help her out. She was quite insistent that she could manage alone," With a smile and a wink, he added. "She told me about your little secret. So, I decided to volunteer to be one of your playmates. You and Cadence had so much fun together. And I know we'll have even more fun together today."

Princess Celestia nodded. "I'm sure you both will. After all, I didn't just ask Shining Armor here for a playdate, Twily. I also wanted to request his help in keeping an eye on you today. I really can't think of anypony else who I know will keep you out of trouble."

At that the young alicorn gasped in realization! "Wait, you mean you're not going to be with me today, Mommy?"

The sun princess shook her head from side to side. "I'm afraid not, Twily. I'm going to be busy tending to a very important diplomatic matter. And if I took you with me to court, ponies might get the wrong idea."

"No!" Twilight protested with a whimper. "I'll be good, Mommy! I promise!" And she practically threw herself at the taller, older alicorn, desperately pleading. "Can't I go with you? Please?"

Celestia tried her best to keep a strong will and not let her composure break. She knew this was going to be difficult. But for Twilight's sake, she could not give in to the demand. "I'm sorry, Twily. But you have to know that I won't always be around for you. Sometimes, Mommy is busy or needs a break. That's why I'm officially tasking Shining Armor with watching over you. I know you'll be good for him."

Shining nodded in approval. "Yeah. And look at it this way, Twily. That means we'll have nothing and nopony to get in the way of our special playtime. It'll be just like old times, back when we used to play pretend together all around our house."

"Yeah, back before you started making goo-goo eyes at Cadence," Twilight playfully teased. Then she decided to ask something that had been nagging at her since she had seen Shining Armor come in. "But what is that thing you're wearing? It doesn't look like one of my diapers."

Shining flashed a toothy grin. "That's because it's not a diaper, Twily. It's a pull-up. And you know what that means."

"What? What does it mean?" Smarty Pants questioned. "What's the difference between a diaper and a pull-up?"

The pull-up wearing stallion proudly boasted as he puffed out his chest. "Oh, there's a lot of differences. But the biggest difference is that wearing pull-ups means you're in potty training. That means you do your pee-pees and poo-poos in the toilet, rather than in your diapers."

Smarty Pants seemed to be amazed if her tone of voice was any indication! "Wow! You can do that all by yourself?!"

"Yup," Shining Armor proudly proclaimed. "That's what big ponies do. And I'm a big pony. Unlike you, Twily."

Twilight frowned and stepped back. "Well, it's not like I don't ever want to use the potty. I just... like my diapers more, that's all."

"Hey, it's okay, Twily," Shining insisted as he stepped forward and put a hoof around her. "We can work on getting you to use the potty today, if you're feeling up to it. But if you don't want to, you don't have to. I don't mind changing your diapers. I've got plenty of experience from changing Flurry. And let me tell you, she can be quite the stinker."

"Well... you're no flower either!" Twilight playfully protested.

And Shining replied. "Never said I was."

Celestia smiled as she observed this playful bout of sibling squabble. It seemed like Twilight was slowly but surely accepting the idea of Shining Armor being her designated caretaker for the day, rather than the princess. "You two just have fun together, diapers or no diapers. Hopefully, this matter won't take all day," With that, she turned to depart the room. Though not before she waved and said. "Goodbye, Twily. Be a good little pony for your brother."

"Goodbye, Mommy!" Twilight waved in reply. And kept on waving until the sun princess had left the room, closing the door behind her. Just like that, Twilight and Shining Armor were alone together with only their stuffed animal companions for company.

It was Smarty Pants who tried to break the spell of silence that hung over the room after Princess Celestia's departure. Gazing in the general direction of Brutus Force, she waved to her fellow stuffed animal. "Hello, Brutus Force," She greeted in her most polite tone of voice possible. "I'm Smarty Pants, and I'm Twily's best friend."

Brutus Force didn't reply at all.

"Hey! Smarty Pants is trying to talk to you!" Twilight shouted at the stuffed turtle. "It's rude not to say anything back."

Shining Armor was quick to apologize as he picked up Brutus Force. "Sorry, Brutus Force isn't much of a talker. He's the strong, silent type. That's what makes him such a good listener."

Twilight blushed. "Oh, well that's okay. I guess not every companion can be like Smarty Pants or Boneless."

Shining nodded. "Yeah, some are more talkative than others. But Brutus Force is Brutus Force, and I wouldn't have him any other way," He smiled as he nuzzled the plushie some more. "Gosh! Brutus Force and I, we go way back! Oh, it feels so good to be able to play with him again!"

Twilight grinned. "I felt the same way when I finally got Smarty Pants back from Big Mac. I was so happy when he finally agreed to let me have her again."

"Yeah! And it meant I could finally stop being Winona's favorite chew toy," Smarty Pants commented. "Those were the worst months of my life. It's a good thing I'm so strong."

The young alicorn nodded ever so slowly. "Yeah. And now that I have you again, Smarty Pants, I've never letting you go! You and I, we'll be together forever and ever!"

Shining Armor smiled as he observed the heartwarming display of affection his little sister was showing. "I'm glad you still love Smarty Pants so much, Twily. You used to take her with you everywhere you went. And I still remember the day I gave her to you as a present," He wiped a tear from his eyes. "Oh, I feel so old just thinking about it! Look at me, getting all sentimental over some doll."

Twilight giggled, nuzzling up against her brother's chest. "Nonsense, B.B.B.F.F., that's what makes you you. And I wouldn't have you any other way."

"Aw, Twily! You always know just what to say to cheer me up, don't you?" The stallion happily replied as he embraced his sister in a hug. Then, when the hug ended, he trotted over to inspect his sister's diaper.

"Uh, what are you doing, B.B.B.F.F.?" Twilight questioned as she felt her diaper be pulled back with a hoof.

Shining was quick to explain. "Well, foals don't always know when they've gone number one or number two. I have to make sure you don't get a rash. How would I ever explain that to your mommy? She'd have my head for sure," He finished the diaper check just seconds later as he declared. "Well, you're dry and clean for now. Figured you were, but it never hurts to check," Then he turned his attention to his pull-up. "As for me, I think it's about time for me to use the bathroom."

"Oh, you have to go potty?" Twilight asked in a playful tone of voice.

Giggling at the childish term, the pull-up wearing stallion nevertheless nodded. "Yes, I certainly do, Twily," Then he got an idea. "As a matter of fact, maybe we should try to see about getting you on the potty as well."

"Are you sure?" Twilight hesitantly questioned as she looked at her diaper. "I kind of like my diapers."

Shining Armor sighed as he trotted over to his sister. "Aw come on, Twily. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you. Besides, that one mishap with the potty, it was years and years ago."

But the padded alicorn protested. "But you remember, don't you?" And her mind began flashing back to a memory that she'd previously thought she had banished to the farthest corners of her mind.

A much younger (and much smaller for that matter) Twilight was waddling along through the house she lived in with her parents and her big brother Shining. For a foal her age, she was very curious and very eager to learn about everything she could. In fact, she was far ahead of her peers when it came to reading. That's how smart she was.

Suddenly, the foal happened to notice Shining Armor coming out of a room. A very peculiar room at that, because it seemed to have some strange objects in it that commanded her attention. Naturally, being curious, she decided the best course of action was to trot up to the nearest pony and start asking questions. So she waddled her way up to her big brother. "B.B.B.F.F.?" She asked him while giving him the biggest set of pleading eyes.

Shining (who was actually somewhat scrawny for a colt his age, it wouldn't be for at least another year before he would hit a growth spurt) looked down, his eyes immediately noticing his little sister. "Hey, Twily," He cheerfully greeted. "What's up?"

"What's that room you were just in?" Twilight inquired of her older brother. "It seems like you go into that room a lot. And so do Mommy and Daddy. But it's not a room I remember going into at all."

The colt looked back. "Oh, that? That's the bathroom. You've definitely been in there sometimes. That's where you have to take baths, after all."

The little filly adopted a puzzled look. "But, you weren't taking a bath, were you?"

Shining Armor shook his head from side to side. "Nope. I was just using the toilet, because I had to pee."

"What's a to... to..." Twilight struggled to get the word out that her brother had just used.

"A toilet? Well, it's what grown-up ponies use instead of diapers," The colt tried to explain. "Someday, you'll use it too."

Her curiosity piqued, Twilight asked her brother. "Can I see it?" The only thing better than learning a word was learning what that word was or what it looked like.

Shining was uncertain for a moment. But one look at his sister's face melted any will he might have had to say no. Scooping her up with his hooves, he said to her. "I don't see why not. Come on," He carried his little sister into the bathroom, and set her on the floor in front of a tall, white colored object that appeared to be made out of some kind of stone. "See that?" He gestured to the object. "That's a toilet."

The little filly examined the object carefully. It appeared to be a mix of a chair, a box and a bowl. Above the bowl was some sort of lid, and off to one side there was a silver colored thing. Connected to the back and the bottom of the object were what appeared to be pipes that were built into the nearby wall. After inspecting it, however, she was still puzzled. "I don't get it."

The little colt did his best not to laugh. As smart as his sister was, she was only two. There were bound to be things she wouldn't understand just yet. "You will someday, Twily. After all, Mom and Dad say you're just about ready to start potty training," Then he got an idea! "Wait, I know! We could start your training right now! You could try to use the toilet! You're so smart, I bet you could get it right on your first try!"

With the idea planted in her head, Twilight eagerly agreed! "Yeah! Let's try it!" But then she blushed as she realized she didn't have a clue as to how "potty training" was supposed to work. "Uh, how do I do it?"

Shining Armor smiled and happily explained. "It's really simple: You just take off your diaper," He used his magic to remove his sister's diaper and carefully set it aside. "Then, you sit down on the seat," He proceeded to lift up the lid, exposing some kind of curved horseshoe opening above the bowl with water flowing underneath it. Once he'd done so, he placed Twilight carefully on the seat with her rump hovering over the bowl and her legs dangling off to either side. "And then, you just do what you do in your diapers."

"Is that all?" Twilight asked as she sat on the seat.

"Well, then you have to wipe and flush, and then you wash your hooves," Shining told his sister. "To wipe, you just use some toilet paper," He proceeded to float over a white, papery substance divided into squares. "And to flush, you just press the handle down," He deposited the toilet paper into the bowl and directed his sister's attention to the silver object from before. "Just like this."

There was a click, and then what sounded like a roar (at least to Twilight's unprepared ears). Twilight looked down, seeing the waters in the toilet bowl swirling around in a dizzying motion. Then, suddenly, they swirled down a hole at the bottom of the toilet bowl and disappeared. But then the waters slowly returned as if nothing had happened. And the whole thing had unfolded in just a few seconds.

Needles to say, the little filly was extremely fascinated, eager to learn more about this strange contraption.

"So, what do you think, Twily?" Shining Armor questioned. "Wanna give it a try?"

Twilight nodded. "Uh-huh," And she boasted. "I wanna try it all by myself!"

The colt blinked in surprise. "You sure you don't want my help, Twily? It's okay, I don't mind it. I still sometimes need help from Mom and Dad when I use the toilet."

But the unicorn filly was quite insistent. "I don't need help!" And the look she shot made it quite clear she wasn't going to change her mind.

Reluctantly, Shining decided to respect his little sister's wishes. "Okay. But I'll be waiting just outside the bathroom if you change your mind. And don't feel bad if you don't do anything. What matters most is that you try." Then he trotted out of the bathroom, shutting the door so as to give Twilight some privacy just in case she did do something.

Unknown to Shining, he had just given his little sister the chance to do something that most ponies never would've even thought of. There was still something nagging at the filly as she sat on the toilet. What was that hole for? It had to be there for a reason. It seemed quite silly for something to have a hole in it for no reason. And was it related to the motion of the water in the bowl?

Well, there was only one way to find out. Twilight turned towards the silver handle, recalling that her brother pressing it down was what had caused the toilet to "flush" last time. And the "flush" was what made the waters swirl around before disappearing down the hole (before returning, of course). The hole had to lead to somewhere. Ponies obviously wouldn't use something like this if it didn't get rid of their waste somehow.

So it was that the unicorn who was no more than two reached out across the seat to grab the handle. With all of her might, she forced it down to trigger the flush. Just like before, there was a loud noise and the waters in the bowl began to spin around and around. Soon, they would retreat down that hole.

Without hesitating for even a second, Twilight stood up on the seat and then jumped from it down into the bowl. She landed with a splash! As the flush cycle continued, the filly felt herself be swept up by the spinning, surging waters. It also felt like there was something tugging on her from below, trying to pull on her. She didn't try to fight it, this was the only way she could find out how the toilet worked.

The flush cycle began to end as the waters retreated down the bowl, taking Twilight along with them. Down, down, down she descended. All the while the hole at the bottom drew closer and closer! Suddenly, the powerful tugging sensation grabbed hold of the filly by the tail! The next thing she knew, she was swept down through the hole as everything went dark! All she managed to force out was a garbled cry.

Then and only then did the flush cycle end. The waters in the toilet bowl refilled. But Twilight had disappeared!

Shining Armor had heard the flush, but had thought nothing of it. Only when the flush cycle ended did he call out through the bathroom door. "Are you all done, Twily? Do you need any help wiping?" He waited, but there was no reply. Seconds past. "Twily?" He called again, and again received no reply. That struck him as odd.

The colt pushed open the bathroom door, expecting to see his little sister on the other side. But she was nowhere in sight. Her discarded diaper lay on the floor, and the lid of the toilet was still up. The seat remained as it had been before, but there was no indication as to Twilight's presence anywhere.

That's when it hit Shining! He'd thought he'd heard some kind of cry just before the flush cycle ended. "No! She didn't!" He thought to himself, but there seemed to be no better explanation as to his sister's mysterious disappearance. Either accidentally (or more likely intentionally), she had flushed herself down the toilet!

Shining Armor frantically rushed out of the bathroom as panic filled every ounce of his being! "I've got to save Twily!" He said to himself!

The flashback ended as the Sparkle siblings and their plushie pals entered the castle bathroom together. "Come on, Twily," Shining Armor insisted as he approached the toilet. "I won't let you go down the drain again. You're too big to fit down it, and so am I."

"I... I know that," Twilight protested in a hesitant tone of voice. "But still... using the potty instead of my diapers..."

Shining just pulled down his pull-up as he lifted up the lid of the toilet. "Just do what I do, Twily. You'll see. There's nothing to be scared of." He proceeded to plant his bare bottom upon the toilet seat.

Twilight watched with hesitation and concern. "Be careful, B.B.B.F.F.!" She seemed to whimper.

The stallion wasn't concerned or worried in the slightest as he relaxed. Soon, a hissing sound could be heard that seemed to echo across the entire bathroom. But it faded after a few seconds, at which point Shining Armor raised his hooves above his head and proudly proclaimed in a childish tone of voice. "I went potty!"

"Oh, you're so brave!" Smarty Pants exclaimed with exaggerated praise.

"He is, isn't he?" Brutus Force remarked.

Shining nodded. "Yup. Gotta be brave to be a royal guard and marry a princess. You think Cadence would want anything to do with me if I were still in diapers?"

Twilight giggled. "Oh, I don't know. I think she'd love marrying a big foal to take care of."

Shining Armor only snickered back. "Very funny, Twily," Then he rose from the toilet and gestured a hoof to the seat. "Now come on, it's your turn. Just waddle over here and give it a try."

"Come on, Twily! You can do it!" Smarty Pants encouraged. "Even I used the potty once, remember?"

The padded alicorn sighed, realizing that both her brother and her best friend had a point. This was something she had to do, or at least try to. Her brother was in charge, and he'd promised he wouldn't let anything bad happen to her. And whenever he'd made that promise in the past, he had kept it. So, carefully and slowly, she waddled her way towards the toilet. "I'm not really afraid of it, am I?" She thought to herself with concern. "It's just part of the act, pretending to be afraid, right?"

"That's it! Come on, Twily!" Shining Armor encouraged, sounding more like a father trying to get his child to take their first steps. "I know you can do it! Just a little bit closer!"

The young alicorn hesitantly took a few more steps forward. The toilet almost seemed to be taunting her, as if it were saying "Sit down on me. I dare you!"

"Just a bit closer, Twily! You're almost there!" Shining encouraged as he saw his sister waddle so close he could almost reach out and touch her if he wanted to. But he didn't, he just stood by the toilet and motioned for her to approach him.

Shutting her eyes, Twilight made one more big effort and took a few more steps forward! She was soon rewarded for her efforts as she felt herself be lifted into the air by her brother's hooves! In one swift motion he pulled down her diaper and deposited her onto the toilet seat!

Twilight, for her part, just concentrated as best she could. She eventually managed to force herself to pee, just a little bit.

"Well done, Twily!" Shining Armor cheered and clapped his hooves! "See how easy and fun that was?"

With a blush forming on her cheeks, Twilight playfully admitted. "Yeah, I guess it was. You were right all along, B.B.B.F.F.!"

"Of course I was, Twily!" Shining insisted, and then wiped another tear from his eyes. "Gosh, it really does bring back memories. You grew up so fast. Seems like only yesterday I was teaching you how to wipe your plot."

"Oh come on, you're not that old." Twilight teased as she got up from the toilet, wiped herself clean and flushed the toilet. Then, she and Shining Armor made their way over to the sink and washed their hooves together. Afterwards, Twilight had her diaper put back on, and the two exited the bathroom. They still had a lot of playtime together, after all.

Before leaving the bathroom, Twilight took one last look at the toilet. Something continued to nag at her regarding her "fear" of the porcelain throne. She kept telling herself it had just been part of the act, but something in the back of her mind couldn't help but think. "Was I actually afraid of it? Did I really believe it was a monster that could eat me? Have I really just been acting the part of a foal this whole time, or have I been somehow started becoming one?"

"Twily, you coming?" Shining Armor called. "Or do you have to do a poo-poo?"

The padded alicorn shook her head to clear the mental cobwebs. "I'm good, B.B.B.F.F. Just... thinking about something, that's all." And she pushed her worries to the back of her mind, they could wait until after playtime. She remembered that playtime with her brother always made her feel better, it could always be counted to take her troubles away.

Princess Celestia tried her hardest to keep her focus on the diplomatic matters at hoof during the long meeting. But she still couldn't help but find her thoughts drifting back to Twilight. This was even harder than the times she'd had to go to court, and had reluctantly left Twilight alone for a little while.

The sun princess did her best to tell herself that this was what was needed for the both of them. "Besides," She thought to herself. "You left Twily in perfectly capable hooves. Shining Armor certainly knows his way when it comes to foals."

Even so, when at last the meeting was concluded and the delegates had departed, Celestia felt as if she'd had an enormous burden lifted from her. With a smile and a spring in her step, she happily raced back to the private suite Twilight was staying in, ready to embrace her foal again, hold her close and do all sorts of motherly things!

When the alicorn with a majestic white coat reached the suite door and forced it open with her magic, she was hardly prepared for the sight that greeted her eyes!

Smarty Pants was sitting in a small pen of some sort, almost like a jail cell you might say. And Brutus Force was standing in front of Smarty Pants, clutching a ruler in one appendage.

"Help me, brave knights!" Smarty Pants cried out! "This dragon won't let me go! And he has really bad breath!"

"Rawrrr!" Brutus Force roared in an exaggerated tone of voice! "Me dragon! Me no like ponies and knights!"

Standing behind a hastily erected fort of pillows, Twilight and Shining Armor could be seen with paper hats on their heads and toy swords held firmly in the glow of their horns.

Suddenly, with a cry of "Charge!" the two ponies emerged from the safety of their pillow fort, their swords at the ready! They swung their swords hard into the "dragon" that was Brutus Force, knocking him down!

"Take that, dragon!" Shining Armor declared in an exaggerated, booming tone of voice. "You shall not kidnap fair maidens on our watch!" And then he pushed his sword towards Brutus Force's chest in order to "slay" the plushie.

Brutus Force fell to the ground, proclaiming in a very over the top way. "Oh, I am slayed! Curses!"

Twilight, meanwhile, raced to the pen and lifted Smarty Pants out. "Have no fear, Princess Smarty Pants. Your brave and loyal knights are here to rescue you."

"Oh thank you, brave knight!" Smarty Pants said as she was carried to safety by Twilight. "You are my hero!"

And when Twilight rejoined her brother, they stood over their defeated enemy and proclaimed. "The royal knights save the day once again!"

Princess Celestia had observed the whole thing, and couldn't help but applaud the performance. "Bravo! Bravo!"

That caused Shining to break character as he blushed. "Oh, how much of that did you see, princess?"

Celestia giggled. "It's quite alright, I won't tell anypony. It seems like you and Twily have had a fun day together."

"Uh-huh, Mommy!" Twilight beamed. "B.B.B.F.F. helped me use the potty today. I actually did a pee-pee in it! But I like my diapers better, the potty just isn't as fun."

"Oh, that's alright," The sun princess cooed in a motherly tone of voice. "You can stay in your diapers if you want to, Twily. Mommy doesn't mind changing you, no matter how stinky you get. All the same, I'm very proud of you for facing your fear of the potty head on and learning that it is nothing to be scared of."

Shining Armor smiled. "It was great practice for when Cadence and I will have to potty train Flurry Heart, not that I think we'll be doing that anytime soon."

"I hope she doesn't ever potty train!" Twilight teased. "I hope she stays in diapers forever! Diapers are so much fun!"

"Let's not give her any ideas, Twily." Shining protested

Princess Celestia just winked. "Oh, don't worry. I know you and Cadence will raise her right. And I'm sure her Auntie Twily will be happy with her no matter what she does."

"Oh yeah, Cadence told me about Flurry's 'first words'," Shining realized. "That was you, wasn't it?"

Celestia nodded. "I'd be more happy than to do something nice for you, Shining. You deserve a reward for helping out today."

The stallion shook his head from side to side. "Just getting to play with Twily again is reward enough, your majesty. It was a lot of fun, really," But then he put a hoof to his chin. "Although, I wouldn't necessarily mind doing it again someday, but only if Cadence got to be part of it too. I'd hate for her to miss out on the fun."

The sun princess smiled anew. "I'll keep that in mind." In the back of her mind, however, she couldn't help but think. "Twilight seems to have been okay without me. But is that just because her brother was acting more as her caretaker than her playmate?"
