Chapter 10

Shortly after dropping Black Diamond off at the Apples family home, Twilight walked back towards Ponyville. Along the bridleway she let her mind wander over the past few days as she headed back to her library. She smiled softly at the thought of how cute Rarity would have looked like as a foal, maybe something similar to her little sister Sweetie Belle a cute little marshmallow bouncing around with a big smile on her face, but she settled for her being the filly she was now.
Twilight was pleased in a sense with Rarity's transformation as now she was literally a different pony which was now more than likely help her come out of her shell more than if she had just reverted to her younger self, maybe all of her insecurities would have come back with it.

Twilight thought of their girly day together giggled to herself remembering how Black Diamond blurted out about how large Big Mac was, and how she was taken aback by the filly's lascivious behaviour. Twilight felt herself blush as she pictured the stallions member in her minds eye. "Oh my." She softly let out before wondering if Black Diamond had followed through on her word on 'coming out of her shell' tonight. She looked up at the night sky. "Good luck Rarity." She softly spoke to the stars.

A short while later Twilight was walking through the empty streets of Ponyville, she could see her home just up ahead when a small figure could be seen running through the shadows towards her. She readied her horn with a defensive spell when she heard it's heavy breathing, gasping for air as it hurried towards her.
She steeled herself ready for whatever was coming her way every second counted in minutes as the hurried footsteps became heavier as the shadow drew ever closer.

Twilight sighed a sense of relief turning of her spell. "Ohh Spike! What are you doing out here so late?"
He stopped running now fighting to take in large gulps of air before speaking. "Twilight! Princess Celestia sent this scroll! She needs to see you immediately! It seems really important!" He cried out still trying to catch his breath.
Twilight looked puzzled a moment, reading the parchment before putting her serious face on. "Okay Spike! Pack a bag for me please and I might just catch the last train to Canterlot."
Spike gasped and panted. "It's already done Twilight, I packed it myself before coming to look for you."

Twilight turned her smile to him as her horn glowed making a glass of water appear in front of her best assistants eyes. Spike grasped the tall glass gulping down the ice cold water which was so refreshing helping him regain his vigour. "Thank you Twilight I was parched!" She turned for the station. "You're very welcome Spike. Now c'mon we have work to do!" She smiled.

Later

Twilight was sitting up in the bed of her overnight carriage to Canterlot. As she read the last paragraph of her book for the night, the candle lit lantern softly swayed above her head with the gentle rocking of the train making her yawn aloud. She looked over with sleepy eyes at Spike who was tucked up nice and snug in his sleeping bag who was now in a deep sleep. "Goodnight Spike." She smiled blowing out the candle as her head touched the pillow she fell fast asleep.

Black Diamond's steading

Rarity closed her front door behind her and began walking through the woods heading towards the old railway tracks making her way down to the river. Just up ahead through the darkness she saw another pony jutting out from the the treeline before it disappeared. "Hmm must be just my tired eyes." She thought to herself as she carried on the bridleway under the moonlight.

As the river came into view she saw the pony appear once again making her stop in her tracks. The overwhelming sensation crashing down on her at the realisation of being alone in the woods at the dead of night sent a cold chill down her spine.
Rarity steeled herself taking a deep breath and shook the nonsense off with the thought of how silly she was being as the figure slowly turned into an overgrown bush.

Rarity smiled with relief as she made it to the river, she watched the torrents dancing over the rocks as the moon made them sparkle in her light. She smiled looking at her reflection in the water thinking back on her busy day when a tall dark pony appeared from behind her. She jumped around gasping in shock how somepony had managed to creep up on her without disturbing the fallen leaves which were scattered all around, only to find nopony was there.

Rarity heard a soft laugh from behind her "Impossible." She thought to herself as only the river flowed behind her. She slowly turned back to the river to see the pony still standing behind her.
"My my. Miss Rarity in the flesh. It's nice to finally meet you face to face. I'm Black Diamond and I'm new here in town." The dark pony teased letting out an unnerving chuckle.
Rarity gasped trying to find the words of where to begin with this strange encounter.

Black Diamond moved her head closer to Rarity's head almost whispering in her ear. "Thank you for freeing me, it's been a very long time since I've been able to find a pony like you..."
Rarity cut her off. "What do you mean 'A pony like me' What is the meaning of all of this?" Rarity demanded trying not to show her fear. Black Diamond laughed ungraciously. "Why, my dear Rarity. It is you who called for me. Is it not you who wishes to become a better mare by reliving your youth is it not? You are the mare who is in need of getting in touch with your more...intimate side? And is it not you who summoned me from my sleep by drinking my potion? My dearest Rarity, I can make all your dreams come true."

Rarity shivered as she watched in the reflection as the dark unicorn seductively licked her ear.
Rarity shivered at Black Diamond's touch. "So you're not going to hurt me?" Black Diamond laughed out loud again. "And why ever would I do that my darling?"
Rarity wasn't sure of what she should say or do and just nervously smiled as the unicorn carried on snuggling into her.
"So Miss Rarity, are you satisfied with what I have achieved for you thus far? Let's see...why just this very day I've helped you open up to your orange friend, err...the one with the apples and got you a date with her handsome steed of a brother who by the way has the bluest balls that I have ever seen in my whole life and believe me that's a long time!" She laughed before getting back to her point. "Where was I? Oh yes, then I helped you make out with your sister's friend...the cute yellow one with her fascinating red mane...what was her name again?"

Rarity swallowed unable to take her eyes off the reflection of Black Diamond. "Applebloom." She almost whispered as her throat cracked making her realise how thirsty she was.
Black Diamond exclaimed. "Applebloom! Yes the one that actually tastes like apples! She is adorable! And now this handsome fellow who's fast asleep laying on your lap right now, he's a special one. We'll have to take good care of him for sure..."
Rarity found her voice and cut in. "What do you mean, fast asleep on my lap I'm here at the river talking to a reflection of you because you're not physically here! What's going on?"
Black Diamond smiled at her before softly whispering into Rarity's ear. "Why my dear Rarity you're dreaming. Goodnight darling." The dark unicorns soft voice and warm breath was so seductive it snapped Rarity out of her sleep and back into reality.

She gasped out with beads of sweat on her forehead. She looked around through sleeping eyes trying to get her bearings. She looked to her lap finding Pip fast asleep. She smiled as she ran her hoof through his mane stopping suddenly not wanting to wake him as he stirred.

The log on the fire was almost out so using her magic she put out the embers before turning her magic towards Pip to raise him up from her lap realising her legs had gone to sleep. She breathed a sigh of relief as the weight of the colt was lifted and the blood returned to her hooves. Rarity took the time to cast her mind back to when Sweetie Belle used to fall asleep on her lap after bingeing on to much ice-cream and hot chocolate during their sleep overs. She smiled thinking back to earlier when Sweetie had told her...Black Diamond and her friends about how much her sister Rarity means to her.
She turned from her thoughts to admire her new body still in disbelief at the transformation before a chill ran down her spine recalling her dream. "That's the second realistic dream I've had. I hope it's just the potion and that's all they are." She wondered to herself making a mental note to ask Twilight.
She looked again at Pip, lifting him up in her magic and gently headed upstairs. As she got to the single room she stopped weighing her options, should she put him to bed or take him to bed with her?
She closed the single room door and headed to her bedroom. She carefully placed him gently down on the bed and carefully tucked him in. She kissed the side of his face his warmth kissing her back. "Goodnight darling." She whispered before getting into bed and snuggling into him pressing her body against his and breathing in his sweet scent as she fell asleep.

Morning in Canterlot

Twilight stepped out of the carriage of the Ponyville Express onto the platform with Spike in tow. "Okay Spike, let's head straight over to the palace. I don't want to keep Princess Celestia waiting a moment longer."
Spike yawned stretching his back until it cracked. "Aw but surely there's time for breakfast? I'm starving." The little dragon groaned as he rubbed a knot out of his shoulder.
Twilight smiled rolling her eyes. "We can eat on the way but we need to get a hoof on." She headed off passing Spike a gem to munch on as they headed for the palace.

They made their way through the bustling streets of Canterlot when Spike realised that he could pay his lady Rarity a visit. His pace slowed as he thought how elegant she would look working on the latest fashion designs in her shop. Twilight turned seeing that look on her little helpers face "Oh crap." She rolled her eyes. She realised that this is where Rarity said she was coming to work. "Hurry up Spike! We urgently need to get to the palace!" She called out to him over the crowd.

Spike was deep in thought thinking of a good enough excuse to see his queen when Twilight reached into her satchel and retrieved a big blue diamond she was saving for such a time. "Hey Spike! Rarity gave me this to give you for being such a good dragon and said that she'll see you when she gets home." She said through gritted teeth with a reassuring smile.
Spike looked at Twilight with a raised eyebrow smelling the manure on the wind and it wasn't from the early morning carriages. A bead of sweat rolled down Twilight's brow as she tried to keep composed through gritted teeth as she saw Spike looking through her deceit.
She broke.
"Okay Spike she left two big gems but surely you don't want to spoil your appetite?" Spike gazed at the two shiny tasty gems, his logic fading with the growling of his stomach. "You're right Twilight, I'll just have the one I can't wait to see her when she gets home!" He called out holding the diamond tightly to his chest as if he was hugging the mare of his dreams close to him.
Twilight rolled her eyes and sighed with relief that Spike wasn't going to pursue Rarity anymore today and made haste to the palace.

Spike was still holding the gem in his arms as if he was holding his lady Rarity as they reached the palace gates.
Twilight wiped the sweat from her brow just as Flash Sentry hurried towards her. "Make way for Princess Twilight!" He called out across the courtyard.

She stated feeling slightly embarrassed feeling such a mess in front of her crush.
Flash watched her almost contently a moment before moving close to her she thought he was going to kiss her but he took three big deep sniffs of her hooves, crest and mane. "You smell okay by me M'lady." He softly said as he stole a kiss. He turned quickly before she could react and called out in his deep royal guard voice. "If you'll follow me this way Princess Twilight I shall escort you to Princess Celestia."

Twilight swooned into his kiss. "So bold" She mused to herself as her special somepony led her to her quarters.

Morning in Ponyville

Black Diamond slowly roused from her slumber finding herself still nuzzled into Pipsqueak. Pip looked into the beautiful pony gazing back at him, he was lost in her eyes. He had never had a special somepony and didn't want to mess things up.
