Everleaf head felt like it was splitting from whatever had hit him, opening his eyes his vision was blurred but what he could make out was a blue pegasus who was holding their head groaning out in pain, and an orange earth pony that was flipped onto her back. Everleaf shakily stood up putting a hoof on his forehead when he felt a sudden tingle of pain in his left wing, looking over he saw that a piece of glass pierced its blood dripping onto the carpet.

Turning his attention to the intruders in the room the blue pegasus that he realized to be Rainbow Dash stood up looking up at him her face in a fierce glare, the orange pony which he knew to be Applejack rolled over to her belly standing up looking round the hallway for something before laying her eyes onto him. Everleaf opened his mouth to talk but Rainbow Dash was quicker to act.

“Hey, Buster did you think you could just take Princess Celestia!” Rainbow stated, getting into an offensive stance and prepared to attack him but was pulled back by Applejack last second. “What was that for!?”

“Cause that ain’t Nightmare Moon sugar cube, look at ‘em,” Applejack said glancing up to Everlead who starred at them wide-eyed “Nightmare Moon was all blue and stuff this fella looks more like the Princess”

“But he could be working for her!” Rainbow countered standing back up and going back to glaring at the Alicorn.

“We aren’t working for nobody but ourselves,” Everfree corrected taking control of Everleaf’s mouth without his input which annoyed the former human. “Now could you please explain why you broke through my precious windows before I detain you?”

Rainbow opened her mouth to speak but was shut by Applejack who glared at her with a ‘You are going to get us killed’ face. “We are looking for a blue mare who looks like ya but with a mane with stars,” Applejack explained.

“That mare has already been defeated before you arrived she was taken away by the so-called Princess Celestia” Everfree answered blankly, Everleaf's ears twitched to the left hearing the clopping of hooves coming closer to the three “But that doesn’t explain why you broke through the window and crashed into me”

“W-Well you see my friend here thought ya were her and stupidly decided to crash into the window” Applejack stuttered, her eyes glancing to the left she took a big gulp as guards appeared rushing at them

"MPHM PPHM!?" Applejack held a firm hoof around rainbows muzzle in return rainbow gave her a death stare. she did not like being insulted when all she did was reasonable in her opinion at least "LEMT MEPH OUPHT!"

"I'm so sorry, but please believe me when ah say ah had no idea she would do anything like that" Applejack explained voice filled with nervousness.

Everfree chuckled to himself at her nervousness and what he was going to say didn't help “If I am to consider you are telling the truth why shouldn’t I arrest you for almost assassination on the King?” Everfree blankly said once again. The guards walked up to the next Everfree glaring at the intruders. “Guards please ar-show them to the throne room” Everleaf ordered finally taking control of his mouth and heavily annoying Everfree

The Guards looked at Everleaf confused but that confusion turned to worry, They quickly noticed his wing “But sire your wing,” one of the guards said dressed in a blue robe with a golden outline “Shouldn’t you get to the infirmary first?”

“I’ll be fine Swift Dagger it is just a flesh wound” Everleaf’s horn glowed his magic flowing around the shard, gritting his teeth as he pulled it out blood splattered against the floor, pulling it out he still felt pain in the wing but at least the shard wouldn’t bother him. Looking up at the ponies he saw that Applejack and Rainbow’s faces were green like they were about to throw up. “Let’s go now shall we?”

EVERFREE CASTLE - HALLWAYS

The 2 Ponies followed Everleaf surrounded by a bunch of guards who examined each step they made although the two were oblivious to that fact. Rainbow was annoyed that Applejack had essentially led them to be captured by an obvious 'Bad Guy' who even lived in a gigantic castle ripped right out of a foal tale. Applejack thought this could have gone way better but it was at least favorable to anything Dash could have gotten them she thought although being surrounded by a bunch of armored ponies was not the best thing in the world.

Disrupting the silence Everleaf speaks up "So, may I ask why you had to find L- this mare?" Everleaf knew this from his memories but Everfree would not stop screaming at him to ask saying something along the lines of 'THEY COULD BE A WORKER FOR THAT DAMNED SUN ALICORN!' which Everleaf did not understand why he would be worried if they didn't remember them.

Applejack looked at Rainbow shaking her head but was ignored anyway "Why should we tell you!?" rainbow shouted "You have something against the princess!" he shouted was quickly put to an end when Swift Dagger stared daggers at her causing the loud pegasus to shut up.

"Don't yell at the King scumbag" Swift Dagger reprimanded sternly practically scaring the ponies out of their minds before looking forward again. "My king this won't happen again"

"Don't worry, it's not your fault she is hard-headed" Everleaf reassured giving the guardsmare a slight smile "But on the other note. The two of you still need to tell me who sent you here"

"Ahm sorry for her King Everlea-" Applejack suddenly became puzzled for a moment how did she know his name she didn't know this Alicorn would remember someone like him and know to trust him or not as the element of trus- "Agh my head hurts..." applejack held a hoof up to her forehead "What was I talking about again?"

"You were explaining who sent you here" Everleaf looked back at Applejack squinting his eyes, what just happened and why had nobody else noticed her slip up except for him decided to play it safe "Also would you to be sent to the medical wing after this?"

"Ah think that would be a great idea" Applejack shook her head thinking back to the earlier events "We came here looking for the elements of harmony because our Princess had been kidnapped by the nightmare and then Twilight ran to the library and told us how we could defeat her. But it seems you already beat us to it"
Applejack chuckled seemingly amused by the events of tonight.

"so you guys came here on your own accord to save the princess from a nightmare with the help of some magical elements" Everleaf even though he knew she was telling the truth couldn't believe it, It sounded so fairytale-like. "Seems like you are living a fairy tale eh?"

"Ya saying that back to me makes my night seem like some kind of dream" She looked down at the floor shaking her head
"Ah just hope this is over and done with"

"Understandable, this night has also been crazy for me with your friend over there" Everleaf looked over to Rainbow who was strangely quiet, and immediately saw her glaring at him which made him chuckle. "Calm down no need to be scared"

"Whatever you say, Nightmare Moon or whoever you are" Rainbow would regret saying that when she was hit in the back of her head by a guard "Bastard"

He just giggled before his face suddenly went back to Applejack " But any way you mentioned this twilight could you explain some more?" Everfree took control when Everleaf let his guard down and wanted to know more information about the two ponies.

EVERFREE CITY - SWEETIE CAKE BAKERY
****

Twilight had stacks of food on the table some mostly half-bitten, currently Twilight wanted to throw up. she had been forced to buy tons of food and then eat everything while being watched. whenever she was going to say no the baker mare gave her the puppy dog eyes "Dear Celestia... why!?" Twilight said muffled by the amount of food filling her cheeks.

"Ma'am more food is coming up!" The mare happily shouted coming up from the kitchen holding a pie that smelled a lot like a pumpkin "Oh ms you haven't even finished that pie yet!"

"I-I'm sorry" Twilight apologized swallowing the food she had. Twilight regretted every bit of this, she hoped one of the girls would come but it had been half an hour with no sight of anypony.

"It's okay ma'am just make sure to finish everything also all of this will come up to about 1,238 bits!" the mare chirped her smile wide-reaching

Twilight stared at the mare and just wanted to cry so hard, that she had to find a way to escape this horrid bakery before she exploded "C-Could I go to the" Before Twilight could finish she saw a pink figure happily hoppin' down the street.

"To where?" the mare asked puzzled at the abrupt end of her question.

"PINKIE PIE!" The Pinkie Pie turned to her suddenly flashing White to Pink as she walked over, Twilight's eyes widened in surprise as the flashing mare hopped over to the bakery. Pinkie's flashing suddenly stopped, she had become a White pegasus with a yellow mane "W-What th-"

Suddenly the baker mare tapped on Twilight's shoulder startling her "You okay miss?" The baker asked looking puzzled "You kinda started to stare into nothingness"

"Yeah!" A bubbly voice said. Looking to the left Pinkie Pie was there sitting down "You were just like Gummy whenever I'm baking, WAIT HAVE I EVER TOAD YOU ABOUT GUMMY!"

"I-i no?" Twilight was confused when di-... Twilight suddenly lost her train of thought getting a giant headache. Pinkie started to tap about an alligator or something but was stopped when Twilight put her hoof to her mouth "N-not now"

"Anyway... ma'am your friend had eaten everything when you were all zoned out," the baker said handing Twilight a receipt "So... how about those bits?" the mare had a dollar sign in her eyes.

"Oh.. uh Pinkie do you have any bits on you?" Twilight asked turning to Pinkie with a giant grin "Because I left mine at Ponyville" She was completely lying and the Baker mare saw through it but..

"Of course Twilight!" Pinkie chirped pulling out a bag from her mane and plopping it on the table "That should be 2000!" When Pinkie said that Twilight looked over at her with amazement.

"Thank you, ma'am" The baker took the bag and left them alone going into the back of the bakery where a loud cheer was heard.

"ugh... Pinkie have you seen any of the gals around?" Twilight asked groaning in pain. "Because... uh Oh yeah Nightmare Moon!"

"I saw Rainbow and Applejack!" Pinkie loudly stated. "But they were all like Whoosh and Applejack was like AHHHHHH then they went into a window with CRASH" Pinkie was somehow acting out all of the events proving physics wrong. "then I walked down the street and then I heard HELP and now I found you!"

"THEY WENT INTO A CASTLE!?" Twilight swiftly stood up and ran out of the bakery to stare up at the giant castle in the distance "OH YOU GOT TO BE BUCKING KIDDING ME!"

"And I thought I was living in a foal tale!" Pinkie exclaimed hoping over to the annoyed Unicorn "I wonder who lives up there and if they like sweets!"

"I-I wah" Twilight darted at the mare giving Pinkie the 'Are you serious' look "Oh dear Celestia why have you sent me here!"

CANTERLOT CASTLE - THRONE ROOM

Celestia paced back in forth in her throne room her face wearing a worried expression. Thinking back to all the events that happened tonight she felt weak and fearful of what this could mean for Equestria, She stood in the face of a possible new danger and did nothing about it. What could this mean for her little ponies and what about the whereabouts of Twilight? "Why does today have to be so stressful!" she shouted out loud "The prophecy never said anything about a goddamn Forest Alicorn and strange Forest ponies!"

"Princess, you need to calm down" A Brown pegasus with a butter mare dawning red armor with a golden frame, and a sharp sword at his side, stood in the middle of the throne room staring up at the panicked/annoyed Princess "Explain to me what exactly happened"

Celestia looked down at the Stallion, his name was Dawn Blade a general in the EEM aka the Equestrian Emergency Militia, the EEM was formerly the Equestrian War Force but the EWF was shrunken and dissolved into the EEM after the world became a much more peaceful place. Celestia took a big breath soothing her nerves "I'm sorry General Blade" she said, "But.. to explain, essentially when my sister or Alicorn I brought to the infirmary was attacked by an unforeseen forest Alicorn deeming himself the King of the Everfree"

"King of the Everfree?" Blade scoffed at that title "A forest? With what population god damn timber wolves!" he was going to say something else but Celestia said something that made him shake a little.

"I would have taken it as a jest as well if he didn't have a magic Aura stronger than my own," Celestia said striking the general to the core "From what I saw he did have some other ponies with him, and they seem to already fix up a base for themselves in my old castle"

"So they are an unknown force with the power you can't even dream of touching if I'm understanding this right Chancellor?" General Blade asked raising his eyebrow at that Princess who suddenly glared at him perplexed about something.

"i-i uhm yes, that is what is currently happening" She swore she had heard the general slip up and say something else but she couldn't remember what... she forgot all about that when sunlight hit the left side of her face "W-What!" she turned to the window and seen the sunrise in the distance above the Everfree.

"Princess, is something wrong?" he turned to the window gazing upon the everfree spotting the city that rivaled Canterlot's beauty when the sun flew over it "My Celestia... they already have a city" he thought that this must be what turned her off and surprised her.

Celestia sighed sitting down and looking at the sunrise without any of her input, the events of tonight were already a major turn from the usual harmony and peace she was used to with an Alicorn claiming to be a king operating in a forest essentially right next to her home but now the sun raised without any need of her. "General, prepare a force of around 25 soldiers and station them around Ponyville" she ordered "We have no idea what this 'King' wishes for, and being prepared is our best option"

"Understood your Highness" The general left the throne room leaving the Princess alone to think about everything that had happened.

"Oh... what is happening..."

CANTERLOT CASTLE - TRAINING YARD
****

Dawn Blade walked into the yard and headed toward the barracks, he didn't show it but he felt worried about sending these troops into Ponyville so suddenly. What if this king attacked them because of their sudden actions, was all he could think of when entering the barracks.

"listen up, the princess needs 25 of you down at Ponyville proto" he announced gaining everyone's attention "Raise your hooves if you volunteer" The soldiers started to talk about why they were suddenly being deployed but Dawn couldn't care and just wanted to get this shit done "DO I NEED TO REPEAT MYSELF!?"

His screaming caused some hooves to be raised but was only able to get 24 volunteers, "Fine, I'll go as well if you idiots aren't strong enough" he glared at his troops before turning and leaving "and be ready at dusk, THAT'S A ORDER!"

He sighed, he wanted to relax and get rid of all this stress but all that happened was just paperwork, and now he probably got more with the sudden deployment. "ah jeez" Dawn looked at the training yard spotting an old friend of his "Shining armor!"

The stallion turned to Dawn with a smile on his face "Long time no see Dawn" Shining was showing his sword skills to cadets before Dawn interrupted "Even though we work in the same place"

"Ey I was busy alright!" Dawn started to laugh a little before looking at the cadets "Y'know I couldn't believe it when I heard your marefriend was a Princess"

"Guess you should be calling me a Prince" Shining jested patting Dawn on the back "She's not a Princess but an Alicorn isn't far away from one"

"What about an Alicorn of a forest?" Dawn asked

"What would they do, summon a tree?" shining replied, he liked Dawn but they never talked anymore unfortunately due to them working in different divisions "Hey, Ya have any plans for the weekend?"

Dawn was in his thoughts only being snapped out by Shining "Well... no" he said rubbing the back of his head "but I'm going down to Ponyville"

"Gr- Ponyville? Why" Shining was confused, all of a sudden "Did something happen?"

"Well the princess has decided it would be a good option because an Alicorn has taken up in the Everfree" Dawn explained stunning Shining

"Well, I won't bother you Dawn" Shining sighed looking down "Be safe out here bro, I don't need to see you dead"

Dawn shook his head before he left for the storage room to gather the items he needed like MREs, Towels, etc

Somewhere in Equestria in an undocumented battle zone, a Pure white hoof breaks out of the ground flesh and fur fall off something crawls out of the ground, its snow-white fur stained, with blood, maggots crawl out of pits in their flesh, flesh drops off of exposing bone and guts, their mane flowing in the wind. They stretched their skeletal wings and charged their sharp horn.

"I-I hav... r-r-returned!" a dark female voice announced shivering in the breeze.
