Since the Changelings left Cadence to make her choice on accepting the marriage or declining it she has been very upset. When Pharynx was informed that they lost their mother all the Changlings attended the funeral and said grace praying to their mom to rest in peace. A good 30 minutes went by and Cadence saw Pharynx coming to her. He stopped in front of her and kneeled down and looked at her in the eye. He could tell something was upsetting her and needed to cheer her up and fast.

“Cadence. I know you’re upset right now. But just know that sooner or later you need to tell us what your choice is.” Pharynx said.

“I know Pharynx. But I can’t decide whether I should go back but everyone dies or be with you and end up betraying my fellow ponies.” Cadence said crying.

Pharynx rubbed her back calming her down and she looked in his eyes.

“Cadence I know it’s hard deciding what to do. You don’t need to decide right now. In fact I was kinda wondering if you wanted to go out with me on a night picnic to clear your head.” Pharynx said.

“Sure. Since I’m gonna be in the Hive for a while.” Cadence said.

“Yes. Come my dear. A date awaits us.” Pharynx said.

The two went ahead and packed for the picnic. They got wine, some sandwiches, and a cake for dessert. The basket was all ready as they headed out of the castle.

They arrived at the spot for the picnic and set it all up. Once that was done the two sat on the blanket and began to enjoy the picnic.

"You know Pharynx. This is quite nice that you invited me for a picnic. I thought you Changlings only wanted to destroy towns." Cadence said.

"No my dear. We may be destructive Changlings but that doesn't mean we dont have our mortals to stand by." Pharynx said as he took a sip of the wine.

"So how did your mother get that deadly disease?" Cadence said.

"Well it happened last year. We were busy with the plans of conquering that one of my brothers informed me of the situation. We tried finding a cure for mother but alast we had no success. That's why we needed a new queen to take the throne." Pharynx said.

"Oh. Pharynx im so sorry. I didn't realise that was so hard on you." Cadence said.

"Don't blame yourself. We recently had the funeral today. Mother has passed away. God bless her soul. And we hope that you'll be the one to save us all from crumbling." Pharynx said.

"Yeah im still thinking about it. Though im sorry your mother passed away." Cadence said.

"It's ok. What happened is done with. Now let's enjoy the picnic." Pharynx said.

The two continued to enjoy the picnic and Cadence couldn't stop thinking about Pharynx. She then wondered if she is falling in love with him. It's a sign but she'll find out soon enough.

2 years went by since Cadence arrived at the Hive. She had been dating Pharynx overtime and she could no longer deny that she's fallen for him. She then decided it was time to come to the decision of the marriage. She went to Pharynx's room and knocked on the door.

"Come on in." Pharynx said as she opened the door.

"Hey Pharynx. Listen I wanted to talk to you about the wedding decision you gave me two years ago." Cadence said.

"Really? Then by all means tell me." Pharynx said.

"Well I know we have a rough start. But after 2 years I actually grew a liking to you. And I feel awful about your mom passing away. So after thinking long and hard I decided to........accept your marriage and be the breeder to you." Cadence said as Pharynx smiled.

"That's... that's wonderful Cadence!! At last we will have a new queen!!" Pharynx said.

"Yes we will my king." Cadence said.

"I shall inform everyone at once!! This is the most amazing news I've heard!" Pharynx said as he ran off telling everyone the good news.

After Pharynx told everyone that Cadence accepted the marriage they cheered with joy and set everything up for the wedding. In the changing rooms we see Pharynx and Cadence getting in their wedding clothes. Pharynx was in a nice tux with a green dress shirt. Cadence changed into a black wedding dress that represents the Changlings. While she was doing this Pharynx took the time to quietly look through the hole and saw her plump butt. Her cheeks were the size of melons but he can wait till after they are married to play around. They finished changing and came out of the rooms.

"You look lovely Cadence. Now let us get married and you shall have the throne of the Hive my queen." Pharynx said.

"Yes my king. Let us be together forever." Cadence said as they went to the throne room where the wedding was.

Once they were in the throne room the Changling at the organ begin playing. The others got up and watched the two walked down the aisle all the way to the podium. When they got on the podium Pharynx removed the veil off of Cadence's face and a elderly Changling came to the stand. Everyone turned to face him and sat down.

"Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness the wonderful marriage of Prince Pharynx and Princess Cadence to become the royal couple of our family. The couple will now say their vows before the rings are exchanged. Cadence you may go first." The elderly Changling said.

The couple looked into each other's eyes as Cadence prepared to speak.

"Pharynx. From the day you first brought me here I was scared. But after bonding with you for 2 years I can now say that im happy for us. I will be the best queen I can be for you and the Changlings." Cadence said. The Changlings started to cry happy tears.

Now it was Pharynx's turn to say his vow.

"Cadence. You were always the most beautiful princess even when we met. After mother passed away we thought my hope was lost. But then you came and saved us all. I swear to you on this day I will make you happy just as much as you made us happy." Pharynx said. The Changlings were all now crying happy.

Then a Changling brought two black rings with emeralds in them. He gave each one to the couple.

"Do you Pharynx take Cadence to be your lawful wedded wife? To love her and cherish til death do you part?" The elderly Changling said.

He placed the ring on her finger. "I do." Pharynx said.

"And do you Cadence take Pharynx to be your lawful wedded husband? To love him and cherish til death do you part?" The elderly Changling said.

She placed the ring on his finger. "I do." Cadence said.

"Then by the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. Pharynx you may now kiss the bride." The elderly Changling said.

The two leaned in and sealed their love with a kiss. Then everyone cheered as they finally have a new queen to take the throne. Wedding bells can be heard and the new couple went outside of the castle to celebrate their marriage. This is a new beginning for the Changlings.
