It's so hot today. Why today? Could it get any worse? I'm already late for duty. By 6 whole hours! Can you believe it!? I got to get my equipment and tell Princess Celestia. I my quill and letter paper and began writing.
Dear Princess Celestia,
This is Silver Spirit. I am extremely sorry. I have woken up late and I won't be able to get on the overnight train to Canterlot. Is there anyplace I can stay until tomorrow morning? Please reply.

I went to the library, where the baby dragon, Spike, sent all the letters to Princess Celestia. The librarian, Twilight Sparkle, was there too. I could tell she had a crush on me. She always walks kinda awkwardly when she passes by me. Most of the time, she just walks quickly past me. A few minutes later, Spike puffed up a letter from the princess.
Dear Silver Spirit,
Do not worry, corporal. You are excused. I also found you a place to stay that is very close to the train station. It is a hotel called the Royal Flagon Inn. It is a fairly old place, but it is a pretty decent place all the same. I will reserve the best room for you. That is room 3332. I have heard rumors that the room is haunted. But studies show that that rumor is completely wrong. Do not worry.

Spike began to talk as soon as I finished reading. "Room 3332? I heard that place is haunted. You better find another place to stay." I sighed. "Spike, it's just a rumor. It was even proven that that rumor is just a hoax. Besides, ghosts aren't real." He walked away. "Ghosts aren't the only supernatural things in Equestria..." He mumbled under his breath. I have to admit, that shook me a bit. But, he's a baby dragon. He doesn't know better.
