Luster Dawn has a special place in Twilight Sparkle's magic school, she is Twilight's protege. Many ponies in Canterlot tend to treat her special because of this but when she goes to the dentist, she is nothing more than another patient who happens to have cavities and this does not sit well with Colgate at all. Unfortunately for Luster, Twilight isn't happy about it either.
