It was Saturday morning and Luster Dawn was sitting in Dr. Colgate's office waiting for her appointment. Luster normally liked Saturdays because they were one of two days where she could just study to her heart's content and not have to deal with other ponies, ponies that she wasn't exactly fond of. She wasn't exactly thrilled about having to see the dentist either, well this dentist anyway but she was the one Twilight scheduled her with since she knew her.
After twenty minutes Colgate led the previous patient out and after collecting his payment and bidding him farewell, she turned to Luster and said, "Alright Luster, it will be just a few minutes. I need to get everything cleaned."
Luster sighed in frustration, "Ugh, can't she just hurry up so I can get back to studying?"
Colgate paid no attention to her comment as she headed back to get things ready for her next patient. Colgate was hoping that this would be a simple appointment with no problems because she didn't particularly care for Luster Dawn because of her attitude, the attitude that she had had ever since she first saw her two years ago.
When Colgate returned to the waiting room she found Luster with a clearly annoyed look on her face. She tried to give her as much of a smile as she could and said, "Come on back Luster, let's get those teeth of yours checked out."
Luster rolled her eyes and followed Colgate into the back. As she was following the dentist back, she couldn't help but notice that she was not taking her to the same exam room that she had been taken to in the past. This time she was taking her clear to the back and this made Luster wonder what was going on. When they got to the back room, Luster noticed that the chair was a bit bigger and that there appeared to be devices to secure a pony into it on it. She wanted to find out what that was all about, "Colgate, what is up with this chair? It doesn't seem right."
Colgate laughed, "It's just a regular dentist's chair now go ahead and get into it."
Luster did as ordered and the moment she got in it, Colgate cast a spell causing straps to tighten around all four of her legs into the chair and caused another to tighten around her head so tight that she couldn't even move it. Colgate saw this, clapped her hooves and cheered, "Much better!" She saw Luster struggling and flaring up her horn, trying to teleport out of this situation. Colgate laughed, "Can't get teleportation down yet?"
Luster was not thrilled over the comment and also began to have concerns over what Colgate was going to do. She yelled, "You're crazy Colgate, you're not really going to check my teeth, are you?"
Colgate headed into a separate room for a moment before returning with something that would ensure that Luster would not cause her any problems, a horn cap. She enchanted it and then placed it on the unicorn's horn. She gave Luster a huge smile, "Well now, that should stop you from causing me any problems!"
Luster was not thrilled by this and again began to struggle and yell, "When Twilight finds out what you're....."
Colgate immediately cut her off, "Look Luster, I don't like you and regarding Twilight, she won't care what I do to you. You are nothing more than a pathetic rat who thinks the world owes her everything." She approached her, smacked her and ordered, "Now open your mouth so I can see what is going on with you."
Luster reluctantly opened her mouth and Colgate cast her spell. When she saw Luster's horrid state she was giddy with excitement. Normally seeing a pony with so many problems would piss her off but with Luster, it was completely different because of an arrangement she had made with Luster's mentor, Princess Twilight Sparkle.
After casting the spell she gasped, "Oh my Luster Dawn, I have never seen teeth in this bad of shape before in my life. You have ten cavities, four rotten teeth and somehow you have managed to develop periodontal disease." She smacked Luster and asked, "How in Equestria does a pony your age develop such a condition?"
Luster screamed, "You lie! I brush every day, I floss daily and I use mouthwash every night before I go to bed."
Colgate smacked her again and laughed, "Well you must brush with cake frosting, floss with cotton candy and rinse with high fructose corn syrup. Ugh disgusting, absolutely disgusting!" She then headed towards the front and added, "I'll be right back, don't go anywhere!"
Colgate heard Luster mumble something but didn't pay any attention to it. Given that Luster was secured in the chair and had a horn cap on, she decided she would go and notify Twilight directly about this. She headed out, cast multiple lock spells on the door and then headed towards the palace. She did her best to hide her gleeful smile on her face because she didn't want to make anypony suspicious. Once she got to the palace she headed straight towards the throne room.
When she arrived she saw Twilight sitting up on the throne with a frustrated look on her face. Colgate was a bit concerned to discuss this with her but knew that it had to be done. "Twilight, I'm having a bit of a problem with your protegé right now."
Twilight's facial expression changed as she asked, "Oh and what kind of problems?"
Colgate's smile returned as she replied, "Well let's just say that I've never seen teeth so bad before in my life. Right now she is secured in a chair and has a horn cap on so I decided to come talk to you about this."
Twilight got a huge smile on her face as she asked, "I'm assuming you want to see if I'd be ok with you torturing her to death?" Colgate nodded and Twilight continued, "Go ahead and do it because I don't like Luster any more than you do but if you bring me the corpse, I'll see to it that you're compensated."
Colgate asked, "Seriously, you'll compensate me?"
Twilight replied, "How does a million bits sound?"
Colgate got a huge smile on her face because there were two things in life that she loved more than anything else, torturing bad patients and money. Colgate replied, "Don't worry, I'll bring back that corpse." She paused before laughing, "And you know something Twilight, I know how to really make her suffer!"
Twilight had a curious look on her face as she asked, "Oh, how?"
Colgate snickered, "While I do have plenty of torture equipment I do know of a spell that can bring ponies back to life so I could torture her to death, bring her back to life and then torture her to death multiple times!"
Twilight began to laugh, "You know that kind of magic is illegal, right?" Colgate nodded and Twilight continued, "Well I say do it! Just make sure that she won't forget getting killed over and over. I want you to completely destroy her psyche!"
Colgate laughed, "Oh I plan on it!"
Twilight became more calm as she finished, "Now go but I would advise you take her somewhere other than your office to do this, I don't want you maybe getting caught."
Colgate replied, "Oh don't worry. I know of the perfect place to do this, a place where nopony will go looking for her and I even know the spell so I can get in!" The two shared a laugh before Colgate headed back towards her practice. She had done a fair amount of studying about ancient places that different ponies would use to do things unthinkable in modern Equestria. She knew that with one that she would have to transport Luster on a train which could be very risky but with the other place, that there were flesh eating insects and that was one thing that she was scared of, dangerous insects.
Once Colgate returned to her office, she was still torn on what to do with Twilight's protegé but then it hit her, "I've got it! I'll put her in a box and take her at midnight! They don't check luggage on the midnight train so this will be perfect!"
Once Colgate got back to her office she headed back to the room where she had Luster secured and heard her screaming loudly for help, hoping that somepony would hear her and try to free her. Colgate gave her a smile and snickered, "You know Luster, ponies like you are why I had this room soundproofed! I certainly can't have anypony coming and trying to free the rats from their final destiny now can I?"
Luster's eyes grew wide when she heard Colgate bring up a final destiny. She became angry and yelled, "Final destiny? You're going to kill me aren't you?"
Colgate approached her and smacked her before laughing, "Bravo, bravo, we have a real prize pupil here!"
Luster countered, "You'll get caught Colgate, somepony will report me missing and know this is where I was. You'll get arrested."
Colgate grabbed a syringe, drew up a colorless liquid into it and laughed, "Oh we'll see about that little rat and besides, it isn't like anypony is going to care about you going missing anyway!" She smacked her and continued, "And before you go bringing up your mentor, Twilight is perfectly fine with me doing this because she hates you just as much as I do!"
Colgate then rammed the syringe into her neck and injected the sedative into her. Luster screamed, "You lie, I know that Twi......"
The sedative was very quick acting so in almost no time, Luster was out like a light. Colgate stood over her slumbering patient and said, "And now we wait until midnight so I can transport you to the badlands and then I can do what I have planned!"
It had been multiple hours since Colgate had sedated Luster Dawn and it was now dark. Colgate looked up at her clock and it was eleven, only one hour until the midnight train would depart for Appaloosa, the easiest place to reach the bunker in which Colgate had chosen to wipe Luster out. She grabbed a box and readied it to transport the slumbering unicorn in. She did know though that there will still some things that had to be done.
She decided to give Luster one more dose of sedatives before heading out, a larger one than normal. She did want to make sure that she did not wake up on the train or in the box as she was transporting her. She wanted the first thing that she would see upon waking to be the inside of the bunker. Colgate then put her inside the box and locked it before casting a soundproof spell on it just in case she was to wake early.
Colgate then began to grab some things that she knew she would need since such items did not exist back in the early days of Equestria. It was 11:30 by the time she had everything ready, a bit later than Colgate would like so she grabbed Luster along with everything she would need and rushed towards the train station. By the time she arrived it was 11:45 so she had plenty of time to buy a ticket and wait before the train would arrive.
It was 11:55 when the train pulled into the station and nopony disembarked and other than Colgate, nopony boarded the train. As she was boarding the train, the conductor looked at the things she was carrying with suspicion but decided against questioning her over it. After all, there had never been any problems with ponies carrying anything they could cause problems with on the night train.
As the train departed, Colgate kept a completely neutral look on her face. Despite her being the only pony traveling on the whole train, she was the type that never let her guard down. She always had her concerns that there may be somepony lurking around that could find out what she was doing and expose her and that was the last thing that she needed. Not only did she want to get Luster wiped out but Twilight was counting on her and besides, succeeding in doing this would result in her getting a very handsome payout!
It was nearly three in the morning when the train pulled into Appaloosa and Colgate was rather quick to disembark. The conductor again looked at her with suspicion but let her pass without checking her luggage. Rather than heading into town, Colgate headed to the northeast in the direction of the bunker. While it was still dark, she wanted to hurry up and get there before dawn in the event there were pegasi flying around and saw something suspicious.
Light was becoming visible on the eastern horizon when she arrived where she believed the bunker was. She had seen illustrations of the rock formations where it was located and knew that this had to be the spot. As she closely inspected the cliff wall, she saw that there was a hole, one that was designed for a unicorn to insert its horn into. She clapped her hooves and cheered, "Jackpot!" She then kicked her box and laughed, "And soon Luster, your time will come!"
She saw that the box moved a bit which meant that Luster had woken up a bit earlier than she would have liked but at this point it did not matter. She couldn't get out of the box and once she freed her, she could sedate her again and then get her secured in the way she wanted. She had a smile on her face as she imagined all the torture devices that she could use.
She then inserted her horn into the hole, lit it up and recited the proper spell,
"The bunker is locked, from thy enemies it is blocked,
Crimes of the enemy must be paid for, to do this thou must unlock the door,
In we take the enemy, of which there are many
Inside we kill the bright ones, and the days of light shall be done."
The moment she finished reciting the spell she discharged some energy and then the doorway slid open, allowing her entry. She rushed in as she was not how long it would stay open. Once she got inside, the door slid closed behind her. She flared up her horn, creating as much light as possible and began her descent down into the bunker. She saw that there were multiple doorways off to the sides but when she was studying about everything the dark warlords of the past would do, she learned of a room in the bottom most bowels of the place that had the green glow of dark magic that radiated from it.
Colgate was not sure how long it had been until she reached the end of the tunnel and saw a glow of dark green light in the distance. She knew that had to be the place where she could cause Luster to go through unprecedented levels of pain and horror. She got a smile on her face as she thought to herself, "Oh yeah, soon this world will have one less rat in it!"
Once she arrived in the room, there was a green glow radiating from the walls. While it did not create a ton of light, it did create enough light so Colgate could see what she was doing. It also produced the right shade of light that Colgate felt would terrify her captive and let her know exactly what her fate was going to be. She wanted to break Twilight's protegé's psyche before finally wiping her out.
Before she opened the box to retrieve Luster, Colgate began to look around and saw various torture devices, a couple of which actually resembled dentist's chairs. She was immediately drawn to them and noticed that there were ways to secure ponies into them very similar to her own at home but one of them also had hooks that could be rammed through a pony's hooves to make it more painful. She got a gleeful smile on her face and laughed, "This is the one I'm going to use! That little rat will just love this!"
She carried the box containing Luster over to the chair and then opened it. When Luster saw the green glow she knew that something was not right. Despite being a bit woozy, she got out of the box and tried to make a run for it but would quickly be grasped in Colgate's aura. Colgate pulled her up into the chair and snapped, "Oh no you don't! You're not going anywhere you little rat!"
Colgate then decided that rather than sedating her captive before running the hooks through her hooves that she would do it while she was awake. Colgate knew that her magic was stronger so doing this to Luster would not be all that difficult. When she rammed the first hook through Luster's hoof she let out a scream of pain and began to struggle. Colgate grasped her in her aura and snapped, "So you're going to make this difficult for me? Well we shall see about that!"
She then began to ram the other hooks through her hooves until all four were secured. Colgate powered down her horn and laughed, "Well now, this should keep you from going anywhere!"
Luster tried to struggle but realized that trying to get free was causing her even more pain. She figured though that Twilight would not be happy over this and decided to bring it up, "Colgate, you know that Twilight will not be happy over you doing this to me." She paused before screaming, "You never know, she might decide to do this to you!"
Colgate smacked her and laughed, "Ha! How little you know little rat!" She paused before developing a smirk on her face, "You want to know something Luster. I talked to Twilight about this and she even said she'd pay me a million bits if I bring back your filthy corpse!"
Luster could hardly believe what she was hearing. She knew that her and Twilight would sometimes have disagreements over the importance of friendship but certainly Twilight would not allow one of her friends to do this. She yelled, "You lie! Twilight would never do something like that!"
Colgate laughed before replying, "Well enough of all this small talk. Let's get to work, shall we?"
She reached down into a second box and pulled out some orange liquid along with something that looked like a large eyelash curling device. When Luster saw this she knew that Colgate was probably going to do something that most ponies would never even think of, even the most sadistic ones. She yelled, "What are you going to do?"
Colgate laughed, "Oh you'll see! Oh yes, you'll see!"
Colgate then pried her eyes open and began to put eye drops into her eyes, eye drops that caused her to be unable to blink. Colgate clapped her hooves and cheered, "Now on to the next step!"
Colgate then moved the device towards Luster's eye and when she inserted the device into Luster's eye, she began to howl in pain and her body began to convulse. Her head began to shake which made things more difficult for Colgate but once she got the eye removed, she turned it around and laughed, "So Luster, can you see yourself?"
Luster screamed, "You're crazy you know that Colgate! You're bucking crazy!"
Colgate sighed, "My my Luster, such language! We're going to have to take care of that!"
Colgate then grabbed a knife and used her magic to pry her mouth open. Luster began screaming as she knew what was going to happen. Colgate smacked her and laughed, "Oh Luster my dear, nopony can hear you and nopony is coming to save you!" She then moved the knife into her mouth and began to cut her tongue out. Once she got the tongue cut off she levitated up to herself and began to eat it. Once she got it chewed up and swallowed she smacked Luster and laughed, "Well no more profanity for you little rat!"
Luster attempted to yell but all she could get out were screams. Colgate then decided to move on to the next step. She took her knife and began to cut Luster open, causing her body to convulse again. Colgate was laughing hysterically as Luster continued to howl in pain. Once she got her cut open she then began to eat the meat off of her. Luster could hardly register what was going on but did know one thing, she knew that her captor was a true sadist as she was slowly but surely being eaten alive.
Once Colgate had eaten all the meat off of her torso she looked down and saw how hard Luster's organs were working, especially how fast her heart was beating. She gave luster a huge smile and laughed, "Oh my little rat, your precious little heart is beating so fast." She paused before adding, "But not fast enough!"
Colgate then leaned down and clamped down on her rib cage and broke it open, causing Luster to scream in pain and her body to convulse. Colgate smacked her and yelled, "Not yet you little rat, not yet! I'm not letting you go that easily!"
Colgate then cast a spell to stop the convulsions and ease the pain so she would be coherent for what her next plan was. She then reached into her box and pulled out a sewing needle and gave Luster a sadistic look. Luster knew what was going to happen and screamed, "No, please no! Just kill me and be done with it!"
Colgate laughed, "But Luster, what fun would there be in me killing you this soon! After all, I'm sure Twilight wouldn't want me to end your suffering this soon!" She then rammed the needle into the bottom of one of her lungs, causing her to scream again.
It was not long until Luster's lung began to collapse. Luster's breathing was becoming erratic and her heart was racing faster and faster and to Colgate, this was unacceptable. She smacked her and screamed, "Not yet rat! There is one more thing I must do and then you'll be at peace!"
Colgate clapped her hooves and began to cheer in glee as it was getting harder and harder for Luster to breathe. Then something struck Colgate, she realized that she had better wipe Luster out before a lack of oxygen would do it for her. Colgate then leaned down and placed Luster's beating heart in her mouth. She looked up and saw nothing but a look of despair in Luster's eyes. She removed the heart briefly and asked, "Any last words little rat?"
All Luster could do was let out a gasp and Colgate laughed, "Apparently not! Good riddance rat!"
Colgate then ripped Luster's heart out with her teeth and ate it. She gave the corpse a smile and laughed, "My my Luster, whatever you've been eating must be good because you're so tasty!"
She then stood over the corpse covered in blood and began to wonder something. She wondered if she should resurrect her and kill her again or if she should just get the corpse boxed up, take it to Twilight and then receive her compensation. Ultimately she decided to just box her up and take her to Twilight since she had appointments on Monday. She said to herself, "Just because Twilight is paying me big bucks doesn't mean that I'm going to bail on my patients, ever."
She then got Luster boxed up along with her equipment and headed towards the exit. Once she reached the exit she inserted her horn in a hole and recited,
"The enemies have paid the price, for in their torture they squealed like mice,
Now the hunt goes on, for more must disappear and be gone,
The princes of light are dying, which is most satisfying
Soon darkness will forever shroud the land and attacking us will not be in the outsiders' plan."
The door slid open and Colgate quickly got out, along with her boxes. The sun was setting so Colgate knew that she would have to wait a while until she headed to Appaloosa to hop on the midnight train. One thing she knew she had to do before heading down into town was soak herself in some water. Luckily for her, there was a pond not too far away so she got into it to was herself off. Once it had got darker, she began the trek to the town and once she arrived, it was 11:30. She thought to herself, "Sweet! Soon I can make my way back home and best of all, get paid big bucks for killing this rat!"
Colgate then bought her ticket and when the train arrived, she boarded. Like it was last time, the conductor gave her strange looks but like it always was, the luggage wasn't checked on the midnight train. As the train pulled out of the station, Colgate was happy but a bit irritated at the same time. The main problem with the midnight train that leaves Appaloosa is that it travels across most of Equestria before finally arriving in Canterlot.
As morning arrived and the day progressed, more and more ponies were boarding the train and eventually she had to put her boxes in the luggage car given the number of ponies on board. This concerned her because somepony else may grab her luggage by accident and then discover the corpse of a dead unicorn along with all of her equipment. The trip seemed to take forever to her but finally at five that afternoon, the train pulled into Canterlot and Colgate was easily able to get her luggage and head to the palace.
Once she arrived at the gate she was met by two guards. One asked, "Who goes there?"
The other said, "State your business."
Colgate replied, "My name is Dr. M. Colgate and I am here to see Princess Twilight."
The guards looked at one another and the first said, "Follow me, she has been expecting you."
The guard led Colgate to the throne room and when Twilight saw her she gave Colgate a smile, "Thank you for bringing her to me."
Once the guard left, Twilight used her magic to close the doors and cast a lock spell on them. She then addressed Colgate, "I see you have something for me."
Colgate nodded and approached the throne. She then opened the box and inside of it was Luster Dawn, torn open. Twilight examined the body and noticed that her rib cage had been broken open, one of her lungs had collapsed and that she was missing her heart. She gave her a smile and laughed, "So Colgate, how did her heart taste?"
Colgate gave her a smile, "I don't know what that pony ate but it was very tasty. It was probably the sweetest thing I had ever ate."
Twilight replied, "Well all I ever saw her eat was sweets so it is no surprised she tasted like that." She then noticed that Colgate had begun to tap her hooves and continued, "And now to get you what I promised you."
Twilight pulled her throne out and went down a stairway to retrieve something. Colgate had a huge smile on her face as she knew what it was that Twilight was going to get. After a few minutes Twilight returned carrying a huge briefcase. She levitated it to Colgate and when she opened it, she was thrilled. In it were many, many paper bits. Colgate took them out and noticed that there were a lot of paper bits in there. She then began to go through them and much to her surprise, there were ten thousand more bits that what Twilight had promised. She naturally wasn't going to bring that up.
After counting them she gave Twilight a smile, "Thanks Twilight." She paused before adding, "Now I would advise hiding that body because I certainly wouldn't want you getting caught with it."
Twilight returned the smile, "Oh don't worry about that. If anypony sees these remains I can always just kill them in the dungeon or have you come over and take care of them."
Colgate exclaimed, "Sweet! If you ever need help, let me know!"
Twilight then reversed the lock spell and the two bid one another farewell. As Colgate was leaving, she felt a true sense of satisfaction. Not only had she wiped out a pony that she did not like but she also had Twilight's blessing and most important of all, she got over a million bits out of it. As she was walking home, she was catching a lot of odd glances since normally the only thing that was carried in huge briefcases like the one she had was large amounts of money. She paid little attention to them though as she was in way too good of a mood to care.
After Colgate left, Twilight closed the box that Luster was in and then pulled her throne out again, taking her down into the dungeon. Once she got to the back, she took her out of the box and laid her down on the bed before closing the cell door and casting a lock spell on it. She gave the corpse a smile and laughed, "You know Luster, if you would have just made some friends and took care of your teeth, this would not have happened." She paused before adding, "Well hopefully my next protege will be better. Hopefully she will make friends and most importantly, brush and floss so I don't have to pay Colgate a million bits to wipe her out too!"
