Equestria girls: before the reset

Crimson was finally feeling like he was actually accepted by those around him after what happened in the auditorium. He had even gotten more friends as well and he was going to prove that he was actually better than he was before. The sirens as they called themselves were feeling very homesick and gave him a recount of what happened to them before he met them. “So you wanted to make sure you could get back to Equestria safely right?” They nod “I know that feeling all too well but now I’m thankful that it worked out this way as I’ve never been happier even though I don’t remember much of school.” he said which did confuse them.

“What do you mean by that?” Adagio asked

“I got myself out of my home knowing how to support myself at first but back then I was homeless and just barely getting by and blacking out every now and then. Before I found this place I didn’t know what I was doing at first but as time went on I learned how to fight and fend for myself by myself. Let’s skip a few years of my story.”

“Why?”

“It's honestly not that interesting,” he said, causing them to be confused for a bit. “Anyway, I got a job at a cafe with Sunrise freshman year but we didn't talk much but she had big plans and before I passed out I was under a lot of stress. Then just earlier this year I woke up and had missed most of my schooling without realizing but I could tell I was in pain.” he said while removing his shirt and turned to show them his back. “These are a constant reminder for me that one day everything might fall apart right in front of me.” There were two scars on his back and they looked fresh. “These were recent as before I woke up I was in a lot of pain for a while. Then there was a rainbow and I saw something that might happen soon as through the rainbow I saw what I was and what Windigo had done. I woke up in a crater at the front of the school and before my suspension I helped rebuild the front by running errands and such for the workers.” he said while getting lost in the memories alone. He was brought out of them by the three girls hugging him. “Thanks I needed that and don't worry I got caught up on what happened thanks to the ones I tried to kill from how it sounded. They forgave me after a while but didn't leave me alone and ended up becoming friends with them.” he said coming to the end of his tale.

It was getting close to Christmas break and I was going to work at my part time job. To earn more money for gifts as a thank you to all of them, he got most of them just waiting on the last ones to arrive. He was working for a crazy guy named Dark Thomas Flame who was also banned from his own kitchen because he somehow turned the stove into a bomb that took down the building and a few next to it when he tried to boil water for hot chocolate and cook eggs.

At school a month later

He walked on to campus and noticed that everyone was looking at him funny. He then felt a vibration in his pocket, it was his phone he decided to check it and saw it was a notification from myspace. With a few more minutes he decided to check out the messages and saw that a new myspace page was up so he checked the profile only to see that the profile picture had his colors behind a silhouette that looks like him causing him to see the day as a disaster.

When he was a demon he saw a similar situation to his but had no explanation for it at the time. He never asked about it but he saw what happened to the one in his place but he didn’t see who it was that caused her pain but if his friends were anything like hers. He didn't know what to do which made him feel worthless again and it showed immensely during the school day which shocked everyone who saw how fast his mood changed over a few hours, just from looking at a Myspace page. It was close to after school when Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Twilight were going to confront him about it.

When they saw how sorry of a state he was in, Twilight decided to try and comfort him. They asked around to see what happened as they wondered what caused the shift in his mood as he was happy and carrying a bag with something in it. The ones asked were shocked at the sudden change “he looked so happy a moment before checking his phone only to see this after checking it.” one said and showed the Myspace page and that’s when the girls understood he saw something when he took the rainbow head on. They made their way back to him after school.

“Are you alright Crimson?” Twilight asked only to be suddenly hugged by him and she felt tears rolling down his face.

“Guess ignoring my mental health for so long bit back today then again how can you ignore something you didn't know exist” he said as if to make a joke out of with Twilight shaking her head,

“I know it's not you as you have changed so much after the fall formal. You have done good crimson even if you don't see it” she said with him tearing up even more.

“I probably look like a baby now huh?” he said while cradling himself.

“Nah, there is no shame in crying,” Rainbow said, which shocked the rest. “There will be times when you need to break down in order to not fall apart when you need it most.” she then looked around “what?” she said, confused.

“We didn't expect that from you, that's all Rainbow.” Fluttershy said,

“Hey there are times I have broken down, you just haven’t seen them.” Rainbow replied, blushing out of embarrassment.

“I found out why I’ve been shifting a lot as it turned out I’m bipolar and I have DID or dissociative identity disorder and I didnt even know about it for years. Though it makes sense now I admit that I need help but I can’t afford to get it. Even though I have a job I can’t as it’s expensive and it won’t last.” They were shocked at his statement “I’m living in an abandoned building, it’s over in the suburbs. Yeah I was homeless for a while but I have a few roommates now and at least they have a roof over their heads now.” they looked at him worried before Twilight said;

“We need to help him and find who this anon-a-sir is!” The rest nod at Twilight's declaration and hug him before he walks over to his locker and says “got these for you girls as a thank you” he said as he handed out the color coded presents to each of them and gave five to Twilight saying which goes to who. “Sunsets is the one with the gold and red stripes, while the blue and yellow striped is for Sunrise, Trixies is the one with the blue and teal, while yours is the purple night sky one”

“Who’s the last one for?” Rainbow asked curiously.

“It’s for Moonrise but hers will need to be given to her mom for now as I would like these to be your christmas presents.” he said with them smiling back “i have a few more on the way.” he said with a smile. “Oh by the way let Maroon know that I currently have a death’s door problem.” he inhaled where you could hear the wind flowing in before saying “yeah my roommates need them sooner rather than later as they are close to there.” Twilight nods at him, while the rest smiled as well before heading off to the last class of the day.

Twilight told Sunrise “we need Maroon to come over as it has to deal with the gems” she inhaled with her teeth closed. “Tell her it's a Death's door situation.”

She nodded and opened the book saying, “I'll let her know can you tell the girls that she will be coming through soon” which Twilight nodded to before leaving as were.

The girls waited for Maroon to come through the portal and when it shimmered as princess Maroon and midnight walked through the portal “hey girls!” Maroon said and got a smile from them as well and midnight handed over the three red stones to Sunset.

“Who are these for?” Sunset asked.

“These are for the dazzlings, don't worry I modified them with some help from a friend, instead of causing hate and pain they will cause the opposite to happen.” Midnight said “have them try it out at their usual place.” Maroon got caught up on what was going on only to say.

“Urg why does this feel like it's happened before?” Maroon said, frustrated , that she couldn’t remember what it was.

“Maybe it has? Let us know through the book if you remember what it was.” Sunset said while waving to the two and walking back into the others.

“Will do and have a good week everyone!” They wave back only to get an immediate response in the journal,

-Hey just remembered what it was, it was Gabby Gums which means…. Darn out of ink!-

They were confused at what she meant by that and wrote back with,

-who?-

They only got three letters in response…

It confused them for a while as they didnt know what it ment but figured that Maroon used the last of her ink to give them that message.

Meanwhile

“Do you think it worked?”

“Lets wait till after school to see”

“I hope it worked!”

At the apple family home

Applebloom asked “hey sis did you find out who started the anon-a-sir page?”

“At first i thought it was crimson but after finding him in the hallway alone before the last class i dont think it was him…” applejack said before applebloom noticed that her sister was holding something before putting it under the tree.

“What's that you got there?”

“A present from crimson that he got for me. He certainly has changed since the fall formal” applejack said with a smile before it turned to a frown “you would not believe how fast his mood changed after looking at myspace and checking out a new profile along with the post.”

Applebloom looked at her sister confused, “what do you mean by that sis?”

“Apparently he has had undiagnosed bipolar disorder along with DID and didn't find out about it till he went to talk to Dr.Eclipse on his first day back from suspension after classes.” shocking applebloom further and so she went to her room, pulled out her phone and texted her friends

-Girls, we made a huge mistake!-

Rarity’s place

Sweetie bell had asked the same thing and got the same responses and she got the text so she made her way over to her room to see the texts;

-What do you mean?-

Was the response from Scootaloo as she was waiting to ask her foster sister when they were alone. She texted back with,

-I know what you mean Applebloom-

-What do you mean?! Tell me!-

Scootaloo was waiting till Rainbow was alone to ask about it when she got texts on her phone from her friends.

-Girls, we made a huge mistake!-

I got confused and asked

-What do you mean?-

-I know what you mean Applebloom-

Was sweetie bells response leaving me more confused so i responded

-What do you mean?! Tell me!-

That's when i got what they meant in a text

-Apparently crimson is bipolar along with having DID? I think thats what its called… and he’s homeless-

She was shocked out of her stupor by knocking on her door. All she sent back was,

-Delete the account!-

Scootaloo walked over to Rainbow's room to find her doing research on bipolar disorder “huh i was supporting him already but now i'm glad that he is doing better though i wonder where he works?” she mused to herself.

The next day Crimson noticed that the account was down a day after things went south for who it was behind it. ‘It was only up for a week and now it's down? Why were people targeting me?’ he thought. Before he heard someone say,

“Yo Crimson?”

“Yes Dash?”

“I decided to take a look at the symptoms of bipolar and I know you can get through it.” she said which shocked him at first but it made him smile before he suddenly hugged her which caught her off guard at first but she accepted it and let him cry onto her shoulder.

“Dash?”

“Yeah?”

“Thank you”

“Heh no problem”

The next few days were over the break but he gave the sisters presents as well along with meeting the dazzlings on better terms through crimson and they became friends with the dazzlings even rejoining the school for the rest of the time there. Which ended up with them getting odd looks as the rest remember what they did during the battle of the bands however when they were with crimson who was on better terms with them all after what he did. They slowly made friends with the three as well.
