We open to a shot of the ship that the Overlord used before it had crashed far below the ocean after Lloyd escaped, and he was presumably erased from the Digiverse for good. While Spike and the other ninja thought he was gone for good, Pythor and the Nindroids had other plans.

They were all seen diving down to it within specially designed scuba suits that would help them reach the bottom of the ocean, and as they got deeper, they were all coming upon the ship that still looked stable in areas.
"Get down there!" Pythor ordered the Nindroids who quickly swam down to do they're task, and upon pressing a special button after they attached some devices to it, large balloons inflated within the sea, and they slowly began to rise the ship back up to the surface.

And the ship soon emerged from the sea once again to be taken back for repairs, and as Pythor comes to the surface again, and looks directly to the ship, deep within it.. a deformed hand slams against the window with rage, and he has an idea on who it can be.

But far away from where they were, Spike and everyone else had gone back to the Temple of Light for something important, with how much power Lloyd has, he's made a very important choice that will not only be a big change for him, but will give Spike, the other Ninja, and even Allison more potential then ever before.
"Are you sure about this Lloyd? This could lead to big consequences later on?" Spike asked with concern while he and Allison stood on opposite sides with the others who were in they're respective places.

"I'm tired of doing this alone Spike, there will always be someone who comes after me as long as I have all this power." Lloyd said as he sighed with guilt at the thought of doing this.

"From here on out, we're in this together." Zane assured with a smile which the other's agreed with.

"He's right!" Jay replied with an eager look to get moving.

"Absolutely!" Cole replied too while he had his arms crossed while Kai looked towards Allison with concern.

"Are you sure Lloyd should give you some of his power to Allison? You still don't even know Spinjitzu." Kai asked with worry while she sighed in frustration knowing it's true.

"I believe there's more about me then any of us know, I still remember, years ago, I felt like I heard Scales's voice when he and the other Serpentine were entombed once again, I still don't know who my parents are, or why I ended up in the Toxic Boggs as an egg, me and my dad are wanting to find out what happened son, but if I have some sort of.. hidden ability that we don't know about, maybe Lloyd's power will help me tap into it." Allison said hopefully while Spike nodded in agreement.

"She's right, we still don't know much about her lineage at all, maybe there's a power deep in her we don't know about yet, even if this may not unlock it fully, it'll at least help her start tapping into it. And for me, I still feel like there's more potential in me then I first thought, I can control your guys's elements still, but we don't know how far my power can really go, all of our powers have potential we haven't unlocked, and it's time we see where it can go." Spike said confidently which everyone could understand.

"If that's how you want it Spike, alright Lloyd, let's do it!" Kai said with a serious look while everyone braced themselves.

And once he heard that, Lloyd made a loud grunt and harnessed all the power he had for one more time, and after charging up enough of it, he shot it directly into the bell to transfer his power. The bell made a loud gong upon being hit once again and shinned brightly, and from that light, 6 different energy's shot towards each of the Ninja, and it gave them all new powers that they can use freely.

Kai had fully unlocked his powers of Fire, along with Zane and the other Ninja who could all freely use they're elemental powers without the need of a special weapon anymore. Spike formed a purple crystal within his claws yet again, but this time, the crystal turned a bright green to represent Lloyd's power, Energy. Spike made a loud scream as he shot multiple Energy beams across the room and into the crystals surrounding them, he felt even stronger then he did before, and felt so much flowing through him with this new ability.

And for Allison, while it's very faint, she felt a new power unlock within her, something that may have been in her deep down. As she raised her hands slightly, she suddenly began to lift some of the rocks around her which had a faint purple aura surrounding them, but even with this new power, she still didn't know how to use it, and she dropped them all after a few seconds, feeling both exhausted, and amazed she actually has powers.
"The elemental power.. it's inside us!" Zane said excitedly while Kai and the other Ninja were testing out they're new powers like they were nothing.

"I.. I really do have powers! This is.. incredible!" Allison said with amazement while she tried to briefly lift the rocks around her again, and Spike came up to her to help her out.

"We'll get to training on these powers soon Allison, if these are part of your own lineage, or is from your past we don't know about, we'll figure out where this came from!" Spike assured while he shot more Energy blasts while the other's were cheering with joy with they're new power.

"Thanks dad.. again." Allison said gratefully while Wu and Garmadon watched from the entrance, and Garmadon didn't look too happy about Lloyd's decision.

"Foolishness, this decision puts everyone in jeopardy!" Garmadon said with frustration seeing him give up such power.

"But it was your son's decision to make." Wu replied as Garmadon turned around to see the view from this high up on the mountain.

"But the youth takes too many risks. They should listen to their fathers." Garmadon replied as Wu walked besides him to give him advice.

"Without risk, they'll never know how far they can go. Have faith brother, we'll catch Pythor, and find Borg soon. Maybe then you will rest easier." Wu assured while he gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"As the protector's of this land, we don't have the luxury to take a rest.." Garmadon replied while they both looked out to the sunrise while the other's were enjoying using they're new powers.

But far away in an unknown location, a robotic Borg was working on a special device again after he was taken control over again after being captured. He crawled his way up the walls within the spider legs while multiple Nindroids were standing guard, and Cryptor and Pythor were at a higher ledge as Cryptor turned to him for questions.
"Pythor, my drones are starting to ask questions. You say this is the Overlord's plan, yet we have not seen him." Cryptor questioned with an upset look towards him.

"Well.. uh.. he's a bit.. consumed at the moment." Pythor said nervously while his voice sounded a bit off in ways.

"This is an ambitious undertaking. If we find out your pretending he's alive, just to use us, you will pay!" Cryptor threatened which Pythor didn't find intimidating at all.

"The Overlord will reveal himself when he chooses too! May I remind you? You can always be reprogramed!" Pythor threatened while he got in his face for a few moments before he slithered into a private room and locked the doors behind him.

Pythor pulled a lever which opened up some of the windows for the project to be seen, but that's when Pythor suddenly began to gag with pain, and as he coughed a few more times, Pythor suddenly threw up the parts of the Overlord that had escaped the Digiverse, but his body was completely deformed and weak as the process was stopped at the last second.
"The Nindroids are impatient, they doubt your existence." Pythor reported while he gagged in disgust of what he just did moments ago.

"They mustn't see me in my weakened state.. if that Dragon and the Ninja hadn't stopped the transference.. I wouldn't look like this.." Overlord replied with frustration as he appeared to be nothing more then a moving matter at the moment.

"But.. not to worry. Soon, I will be strong. And soon.. Project Arcturus, will be complete!" Overlord swore as the device they've been working was revealed to be.. a rocket.

"Forgive my ambivalence, it's just that this plan.. it's.. it's.." Pythor tried to argue against this, but the Overlord got in his face after getting upset at his denial.

"It's the only way I can become the Golden Master! With news of Lloyd giving away his Golden power, there's no use hunting him anymore." Overlord explained as Pythor looked down at him as work kept moving forward.

Back in New Ninjago City, Garmadon was seen rising up to Borg's office where Pixal, Nya, Zane, Wu, Spike Allison were all waiting currently while doing important research to find out where Pythor is.
"Any updates on the search?" Garmadon asked hopefully while Zane was working on the computer.

Our cameras haven't picked up anything from Pythor or Borg. But the rest of the ninja are in the field, where we don't have eyes." Wu replied as they turned to Lloyd on the camera, who was currently within the Toxic Bogs to search.

"No signs of any Nindroids in the Toxic Bogs." Lloyd reported from the other side while Allison shrugged hearing that.

"That wouldn't exactly be the best place to hide since that place is filled with acid water, you know?" Allison asked casually which Lloyd agreed with.

"Makes sense, guess you can cross this location of the list Spike." Lloyd replied while Spike took out a piece of paper and did just that.

"Noted my friend." Spike replied with a smile while he crossed it off with a pen he had.

"While your out there Lloyd, do you think you could search the Glacier Barrens?" Wu asked with a hopeful look.

"I may not be able to move mountains anymore, but I can still cover ground, over and out." Lloyd replied before he took off on his bike leaving them to figure this out. And after he left, Garmadon looked at a board nearby that had markings on it, and there was one name that caught his attention.

"Project.. Arcturus?" Garmadon questioned while Wu went up to him to help explain things a bit.

"Two days ago, Zane, Pixal, Spike and Allison intercepted a coded message. Holding a codename called.. Project Arcturus." Wu explained while the postman was trying to figure out what it means.

"I think I made a discovery." He announced before he rearranged some wooden letter's to try and decode it.

"Carrot Cup Juster." He suggested which they didn't think could be the answer.

"What's a.. Juster?" Wu questioned not even knowing what that means.

"I don't know, not yet anyways." He replied while Wu gave him a pat on the back.

"Keep looking, I do not think that's it." Wu encouraged as he and Garmadon walked up to a nearby map while Allison was trying to lift a small crater in the background with her new powers, but with them being still new, she was barely able to get it working even after the training she's been doing.

"Arcturus.. didn't we face a Serpentine General by that name?" Garmadon asked which got Allison's attention.

"Was.. he an Anacondrai in any way too?" Allison asked while she slithered up to them both.

"Yes he was Allison, he was one of the Anacondrai generals we faced in the great Serpentine war, he even had a celestial zodiac named after him." Wu answered which she found really fascinating.

"Typical for Pythor to name something after one of his own generals, do you think Arcturus could've known who my parents were?" Allison asked while her hands glowed a bit from the power she now has.

"It's likely he might've, but we may never get the answer, he is banished to another realm with the other generals after the war ended." Wu replied which made Spike concerned hearing that.

"Why would you go so far to do that after the fight?" Spike asked with worry while walking up to them.

"That is a long story for another day Spike, and we don't have the time to discuss it right now." Garmadon answered just as an alarm suddenly went off which got they're attention.

"What's going on?" Spike asked with worry while Zane picked something up on the cameras.

"Our facial recognition software picked up someone!" Pixal reported which made them come up to the computer to see what's going on.

And soon enough, they saw what looked like Cryptor within a truck, taking a shipment of some sorts.

"My analysis can only assume they're using Borg to build something." Zane announced which was very worrying to hear.

"But what could it be?" Pixal questioned which the other's wanted to know too.

"We need to know where those trucks are heading. Find me the nearest Ninja." Wu ordered while Pixal tried finding where Cole, Jay and Nya were first, but Spike quickly stopped her after remembering where they were currently.

"Don't bother with Jay, Cole and Nya Pixal, they're currently doing they're own thing that I doubt would be important for them to notice right now." Spike advised which Wu found confusing.

"What could they be doing that's more important then tracking our enemy down?" Wu questioned with a curious look, and Spike sighed and slapped his face as he remembered what Cole told him.

"He, Jay and Nya are currently at the movie theaters from what I remember.. making it a.. double date to put it simply. " Spike answered which Garmadon found really frustrating.

"Seriously? Why can't they find better times to do this?" Garmadon asked while he slapped his face too, and Spike simply shrugged his shoulder's being asked that.

"I really don't know Garmadon, we'll contact them later after they're done seeing.. Fritz Donnegan from what I recall, so maybe in an hour or so." Spike suggested which the other's shook they're heads at.

"Guess that only leaves Kai then, try finding him Pixal." Allison encouraged which she went to work on.

"Affirmative." Pixal replied while she went to find his location.

And that makes the camera zoom out all the way from Borg Tower, even beyond to the outskirts of New Ninjago City at a nearby restaurant just outside it, and inside, Kai was currently talking with a woman who he was trying to get a date with.
"So, these are the hottest snacks you got?" Kai asked with a smirk while he held a bag full of hot food in one of his hands while he looked at the woman who was having a little drink.

"Hotter then this?" Kai asked again before he lit his hand on fire to impress her, and he held it over the bag to warm it up a bit which she found really cool while she saw his vehicle just outside.

"Is that your ride out there? Pretty hot." She asked while Kai looked at his new vehicle known as the Prototype X1.

"That old thing? That's just the prototype X1 roadster. I'm kind of a.. secret agent. Oops.. guess it's not a secret anymore." Kai said jokingly which she found funny.

"You want to go for a spin? I know.. Spinjitzu." Kai questioned while he twirled his hand around a bit, but the moment was ruined just when Pixal came on the radio from the vehicle nearby.

"Kai, Kai I need you now." Pixal said from the radio which Kai found a bit frustrating.

"Not now Pixal!" Kai said with a worried look which the woman thought was something else completely.

"Who's Pixal?" She questioned with an upset look which made Kai nervous to answer, and she ended up throwing her slushie in his face which he found very frustrating, and he had no choice but to head to his car to get out of there.

Kai quickly ran up to his car outside of the restaurant and hopped on board to get ready to get moving.
"Did I catch you at a bad time?" Pixal asked with concern while Kai grabbed the wheel.

"This better be important Pixal." Kai replied before he stepped on the pedals which activated the jet engines while the woman came outside to see where he's going, but was too late as Kai drove away in an instant at fast speeds which left her more upset with this.

"There's a Nindroid convoy heading west, and General Cryptor is on it." Pixal informed which Kai found interesting.

"Cryptor." Kai said with a serious look while he was speeding up a bit more.

"We need you to follow, but do not get spotted, we need to know where they're going." Pixal warned which Kai had no problem with.

"I'm a ninja, that's part of the job." Kai said with a smirk while he put on some sunglasses to look cooler as he drove on.

"We mean it Kai, it's imperative hat your carelessness does not risk jeopardizing the miss.." Pixal was soon cut off by Kai who didn't find this worrying, and he just wanted to hurry as fast as he could.

"Relax, when have I ever been careless?" Kai asked with a smirk as he sped up even more, dodging any car going on any side of the rode to catch up as fast as he could. He soon passed by a nearby billboard which soon was taken over by Pixal who was trying to find where he is.

"Kai? Can you hear me?" Pixal questioned while Spike looked at the camera she was on too.

"You better not get that vehicle crashed Kai! We just got it, and our other vehicles repaired today!" Spike said with an upset look which a mailman found really shocking, and it made him hit the side of the billboard as a result which Spike noticed.

"Sorry!" Spike apologized while they saw Kai driving off.

And as Kai kept driving, his wheels were suddenly pulling themselves in which made the car start driving on it's own.
"What the? What's happening?" Kai asked with worry as the car drove away from crashing into a few more vehicles nearby.

"I've taken control of the X1 remotely. You can't get rid of me that easily." Pixal informed which he just shrugged off.

"Fine, have it your way, how much further?" Kai asked while he leaned back a bit.

"We will be there in 3 minutes." Pixal informed which Kai found a bit too slow.

"Let's see if we can make that 2." Kai replied as he pressed on a button that activated a booster, and the vehicle drove off even faster to reach the convoy before it escapes.

Spike and the others were watching this from a map that was tracking they're location, and Garmadon found this a bit upsetting knowing only he's going on this alone.
"You can't control your team." Garmadon said with an upset look while seeing this.

"Have faith brother." Wu encouraged while Allison drank a bit of water to help a bit.

"Knowing him, he'll probably make it through this, he'll be alright." Allison assured which they all agreed with.

"He's approaching the mountain pass now." Zane informed while Spike crossed his arms.

"He's getting close, if he gets spotted he may get in serious trouble." Spike warned with a look of worry.

"Then we better let Kai take control. Pixal said once again while the wheel went up to Kai to take control of again.

"Okay!" Kai replied with an eager look as the jet made the vehicle move even faster up the mountain, and after he looked up a bit, he finally saw the convoy just above him on another side of the road.

"Remember, keep your distance, we only need to know where they're going." Pixal warned which Kai didn't find entertaining.

"Boring! What I want to know is.. what are they hiding?" Kai asked with a smirk as he sped up even more, even hitting a nearby car which almost made it crash into the side nearby.

"Careful! Keep your eyes on the road Kai!" Pixal said with a frustrated tone seeing this.

"I was just getting the feel of things. You know every car handles differently." Kai said in defense while looking at the radio.

"And this car is worth far more then you. I would not advise returning it with a scratch." Pixal advised again while Kai looked ahead.

"Noted, let's see if we can find some sweet tunes." Kai told himself while he pressed on a small button, but that ended up activating a weapons system that was on the vehicle, and it shot two missiles within the sky which exploded after going too far.

And unfortunately Pythor and the Nindroids were able to notice it too.
"What's that?" Pythor questioned before he looked down at the road below and saw Kai was speeding up to them from behind.

"We're being followed! Speed up!" Pythor ordered while Cryptor nodded respectfully.

"Yes master." Cryptor replied before he pulled a lever which sped the convoy up even more, and just at the back of it, multiple Nindroids were launching flying buzzsaw machines towards Kai after seeing he was following them.

"Uh oh.." Kai said with worry as he tried turning the wheel away from the direction they're flying in, and that ended up with him being able to barely avoid them from both sides, and they were only able to scratch at the sides of his car before flying off again as it was struggling to keep steady.

"You've done enough, from here on, I'm in control." Pixal announced while she took control of the vehicle again.

"Hey! I was driving!" Kai said with annoyance as the thing was steadying itself.

"Not anymore." Pixal replied before she had the thing speed up to intercept it.

"What are you doing?" Kai asked with worry while he saw it was speeding up towards the convoy.

"Now that are plans are foiled, are only hope is to get you on that semi truck to see what they're transporting." Pixal replied from the other side.

"Next time try not to be so reckless Kai!" Spike said with frustration which Kai sighed at.

"At least things will get more interesting now Spike." Kai replied as his vehicle was coming up on the convoy.

Kai was coming right up on the side where there were multiple tanks being carried along with the convoy, but as he was getting up to the front, the Nindroids were able to notice him which made Kai nervous. And they immediately began firing at him to take him down, and Pixal suddenly stepped on the brakes which made Kai scream as the car went flying back without warning, and she once again pulled the lever forward which made the car speed up again while Kai was knocked back and fourth.

Pythor looked back and saw Kai was still following them, but after he saw a sign that had a warning of falling rocks on it, he got an idea on what to do.
"Shoot the mountain!" Pythor ordered which Cryptor complied with, and he pressed a small button which activated a turret on the truck they were driving, and it fired multiple lasers at the mountain walls which made multiple rocks fall down on the side of the road to block his path.

Kai screamed with fear as he was about to crash into it, but Pixal took control of the weapons system again and used it to fire at the rocks, and they exploded upon contact which let Kai get through, and as the rocks flew in the air, the Nindroids who were still chasing him ended up crashing into them, and exploded from the impact which Kai sighed in relief at.
"That was close." Kai said with relief while looking back for a moment.

"I thought close was the objective?" Pixal questioned while he was just about to get past the other side of the convoy, but Cryptor saw this through the mirror's, and he turned the vehicle a bit which almost made the shipments hit Kai, forcing him to back up again.

"We can't get past them, get ready to hold on." Pixal warned which Kai found concerning.

"For what?" Kai asked with worry while some of the car was detaching from itself.

"For this." Pixal answered as his wheel came up in front of him as some spare wheels began to move forward.

"What's happening?" Kai asked with worry as the car lifted the front up for a secretly built in bike to take charge, and Kai screamed as it was launched forward directly towards the convoy which Kai had no control over.

Kai was soon slammed right onto the thing after it finally caught up with it, and he tried holding on as he saw the bike go back into the car which was still driving.
"Keep your sunglasses close, they're also a receiver so we can communicate." Pixal said from an intercom on his sunglasses which he was able to hear.

"All right, time to heat things up!" Kai shouted with confidence as he began climbing to the top of the shipment to get up front, but once he reached the top, he was greeted with multiple Nindroids who were laughing mockingly as they marched up to him, and they once again shot more lasers at him to knock him off.

Kai quickly ducked down to get some cover, and using his free hand, Kai lit it with fire to take them down.
"Your all fired!" Kai screamed as he shot multiple fire blasts to them which knocked all of them off the vehicle which let him climb up without trouble.

But things got worse once he saw he had accidentally lit part of the convoy on fire, and the tarp covering the shipment up was slowly burning away by the second.
"Uh oh. Ninja go!" Kai shouted again while he used Spinjitzu to burn the tarp completely to see what they're carrying. And as he went to the front of the section of the vehicle to see what it is, his eyes widened with fear as he realized what this was.

"Pixal? I think I'm sitting on a tanker of jet fuel.. and I think I just lit the match.." Kai said with fear which everyone found really worrying.

"What?! Why would they be carrying something like that?!" Spike shouted with fear while they saw the thing was burning up.

"That stuff is highly flammable right?" Allison asked with fear while Garmadon was really upset knowing this.

"He can't stay on there much longer! Get him out of there before it explodes!" Garmadon said with an upset look as Wu turned to Pixal again.

"Pixal, get him out of there now!" Wu ordered which she went to work on.

"Kai, there's a series of one laned tunnel's up ahead, we must time it right to get you off of there!" Pixal informed as Kai saw more Nindroids were climbing on the tanker to take him down.

They shot multiple lasers at him which made Kai scream as he nearly fell off, but caught himself in between two of them, but while his car was speeding up to get him off of there, it ended up scraping a part of it which started to make it leak some of the fuel.
"Hurry, jump now!" Pixal shouted as he tried getting out of there, but that was ruined once his legs were grabbed by the Nindroids and he was pulled up to hang him over the ledge.

And Pixal had no choice but to back up again as they were coming right up on the tunnels, and while the Nindroids were distracted, they soon noticed they were coming up on the tunnels, and while Minidroid was able to avoid being hit thanks to his size, the other Nindroids slammed against the wall and exploded upon contact.

And that left Kai alone to try and take down the Minidroid on his own which was putting up a good fight. Pixal tried using the vehicle to catch up to him as there was little time left before the tanker explodes.
"Kai, there's no time to fight! You need to get out of there now!" Pixal reminded which made Kai punch the Minidroid in the face to get back up.

A construction worker was currently painting sides of the road while multiple cones were placed far into the tunnels ahead of him, but he quickly was able to notice the Nindroids were driving up to him at fast speeds and were avoiding any warnings he set up, he screamed with fear and jumped out of the way as they drove past him, and Cryptor's vehicle was still hitting the cones making the other Nindroids go on the other side.

That made them back up right to the X1 which made it be knocked back even further, and slid off to the side which made it harder to catch up again.
"It's getting really hot up here! Where are you?" Kai asked with worry as he was trying to fight the Minidroid off still.

"Tied up at the moment." Pixal replied before she regained control again and had it take off after them again, and as the Nindroids saw it was coming up on them. They tried shooting at her again to take her down, but once she saw an opening, Pixal drove to the side of the road which let her move to their side, and Pixal slammed they're vehicle into the wall which made it scrape across the side which was heading directly for another tunnel. And the Nindroids couldn't avoid it, and they were all soon destroyed again after Pixal rammed them into the wall.

Kai was being pinned to the ground again while the Minidroid was somehow still going, he tried to use his strength to slam him against the ceiling which made sparks fly across the area.
"You like that Sparky?!" Kai asked mockingly as he tried to push it off, but this move ended up making one of the sparks land right on the jet fuel that was still leaking, and it caught fire and began spreading in a straight line directly to the tanker that was leaking it.

"Oops.." Kai said with fear as he saw it was heading to them really fast, but this was followed up as the Minidroid was hit by a stop light which slammed him to the ceiling, and he was soon slammed on the road again which Pixal was still driving on, and rammed right into him which the Minidroid tried holding onto. Once the Minidroid caught onto what was going on, it shot a laser directly at the engine which made it catch fire, and it stopped in it's place as the Minidroid was trying to take the thing apart.

Kai finally was able to get up after fighting off that Minidroid, but he could see the flame was catching up even more, and was really worried on how to get out of here.
"Pixal, I need to go now!" Kai shouted with fear as it was about to explode.

"I can't get to you! There's no time!" Pixal shouted as she was unable to save him, and after having enough of it, Pixal made the car lift up it's front hatch which the Minidroid was on, making him fly off to the side of the wall to shake him off of it.

But this left with nothing to help Kai get out of there in time, using what little time he had, he ran up to the front of the vehicle as fast as he could just as the fire hit the tanker, and it soon exploded upon contact which began spreading through the whole tunnel.
"Kai!" Zane shouted with horror while they all saw it explode from they're side.

"No.." Spike said with horror as the explosion pushed the front vehicle Pythor and Cryptor were on as a result, and they were both pushed out of the tunnels once it all died down, leaving one tanker of jet fuel left.

"Kai! Can you hear me!" Pixal shouted with worry as they tried getting a response, and thankfully, Kai was still alive, and managed to hide himself on the bottom of on of the tankers which he was holding onto.

"Loud and clear. Well.. maybe not so clear on the back of this truck." Kai responded which made everyone laugh with joy and relief seeing that he's still okay.

"Thank goodness!" Allison said with relief while Spike patted her on the back again.

Pythor laughed mockingly thinking that he's gone, and he pulled out a radio to give a report to the Overlord.
"We've lost him! We may have lost one payload, but we still have the other." Pythor reported which the Overlord was pleased with.

"Excellent! Head to the launch site!" Overlord ordered as Pythor looked at the road ahead of them

"On my way!" Pythor replied as Kai tried informing the other's of what's going on.

"Guys, listen up! The Overlords alive!" Kai informed which made everyone go from being relieved to shocked after hearing it.

"What?! Do you know where they're heading?" Wu asked with fear hearing this, and at that moment, the truck began to slow down a bit till it came to a stop, making Kai think they were hear.

"Wait, they just stopped. This might be it." Kai replied as Pythor was looking around the place after hearing something.

"I have to be quiet so they don't find my perfect hiding spot." Kai whispered just as Pythor looked down below to see where the noise is coming from, and soon saw he was still alive after he thought he was gone.

"You!" Pythor hissed with anger which Kai was caught off guard by.

"What? Me?!" Kai asked with fear just before Pythor punched him across the face so hard, it made him black out in an instant.

Kai's radio signal was soon lost, and as hard as they were trying to find him, they couldn't find anything left after his last location.
"Kai? Kai can you hear us?! Dang it!" Spike shouted with frustration while he slammed his fist on the table.

"Don't worry dad, we'll find him, but we're not gonna be able to do it without some help." Allison assured while turning to Wu who knew what she was implying.

"Allison's right, gather everyone else, we need to find out where they are!" Wu ordered which she went to working on.

Later after that whole incident, Cole, Jay and Nya were finally getting out of the movies after going on a double date just like Spike said, while it had a few downsides at times, they did have a good time despite it being 2 dates in one.
"Wow! That was the greatest movie ever!" Jay said with a laugh while Nya walked besides him and Cole.

"Yeah, it was pretty fun." Nya replied while Cole turned to her for a question.

"You said you'd pick between us after the date, so, who will it be?" Cole asked which Jay was eager to know too, making her nervous on how to answer.

"Right.. uh.. " Nya was trying to choose who it will be, and Jay just wanted this done so it doesn't keep going on.

"This has gone on long enough Nya, just decide already please." Jay begged which made Nya try to look around to find someone, and luckily, she found a small robot that could delay this answer.

"I.. I pick.. Joel!" Nya answered while she went up to the service bot in the entrance shocking them both.

"Joel?!" They both asked at once while she held up the little robot.

""Yeah, he's the best parts of you put together. Part Jay, Part Cole, Joel." Nya answered as the robot tried escaping from her.

"But my name is Robo Usher 3000!" He said with a nervous voice while the two were dumbfounded by her decision.

"Like all boys, you can be reprogrammed." Nya replied making the two slap they're faces from seeing it.

But before they could talk about this any longer, some signals flashed into the sky from Borg tower which showed Jay and Cole's symbols, getting all of they're attention.
"Hey, they need us back at headquarters!" Cole said with surprise as they saw it in the sky.

And they didn't waste another minute to head back to the tower immediately, they had soon made it to the top floor again to meet up with the others.
"We got here as fast as we could!" Nya announced while they ran into the room while Joel was still trying to get out of there.

"But my name is Robo Usher 3000!" He repeated again making everyone look at her with raised eyebrows, and Nya had no choice but to let him go finally which made him leave as fast as he could before the elevator door closed.

"Still didn't choose who it will be?" Allison asked with a slightly annoyed look at her.

"No.." Nya replied with regret which she sighed at from hearing.

"At least that little robot is free.." Spike told himself while he turned to Zane who was ready to get things moving.

"Let's get to business, the Overlord is back, and he's captured Kai." Zane revealed which shocked all 3 of them.

"The Overlord?!" They all asked at once while they went up to the table full of all the clues they had.

"We know they plan to launch Project Arcturus tonight. But we need to find out what it is to save him." Wu explained while they all looked at the table below them.

"There's got to be a way to figure this out, any ideas Lloyd?" Spike questioned while turning to him next who tried figuring this out.

"The Overlord's goal is to become the Golden Master. That may have something to do with it?" Lloyd suggested which could be true.

"Good idea, but what sense does all of this make?" Wu asked while Pixal tried finding out what this means.

"I've tried every combination of these clues through my database to find a connection, but there isn't any relation to it." Pixal informed making this even more worrying.

And hearing that finally gave Zane an idea on what's wrong, after putting it together, he remembered a very specific event that happened years ago.
"Maybe there's a reason it's not in your database." Zane replied while she tried figuring it out.

"But everything in Ninjago history has been recorded inside me." Pixal countered which made Spike's eyes widen the moment he heard that word.

"History.. of course.. that's it!" Spike said with realization which got the other's attention.

"What? What is it Spike?" Wu asked with worry while Spike looked at Zane who had figured this out just like him.

"Do you guys remember when we followed back in time?" Zane questioned while looking at the other's who did remember it.

"When we needed to stop him from preventing us from ever meeting? If Pixal can't find that in her database, then that makes sense!" Spike informed while Lloyd found it confusing.

"What do you mean Spike? I don't remember going on that journey with you guys?" Lloyd asked still looking confused about this thing.

"That's because you weren't with us when it happened Lloyd, all of us except for you were there, and it lead to one important event." Allison added while Garmadon realized what they're implying.

"Of course, I remember what happened during that incident. You all used the Golden Weapons to destroy my Megaweapon!" Garmadon reminded as we see a flashback of the event that had them go through time, and it ended up with they're 5 weapons merging with the Megaweapon, and shooting out far away from Earth.

"When they all collided, they were shot into.." Garmadon continued while they looked at the sky and realized what this was.

"Space." Wu finished as he looked at the map of the stars they had within the room.

"Since Lloyd gave everyone some of his power, the Overlord's going after the only thing that can still turn him into the Golden Master: The Golden Weapons!" Nya said with fear at the thought of it.

"We must hurry, where did the Serpentine study the stars?" Garmadon questioned which made Zane run up to the computer to look up the data, and after searching it up, he found the one place that could be the answer.

"The ancient city of Ouroboros!" Zane announced while he turned to them all who were ready to go.

"We must get there at once!" Garmadon said with determination while he clutched his fist.

"How do you know Nindroids will be there brother?" Wu asked with concern while he put his hand on his shoulder.

"Faith." Garmadon replied with a serious look while lightning flashed over the sky's which told them there was very little time.

"The other's and I will head there in our vehicles! They're the only things fast enough to reach the place in time! Allison, you stay here with the others, they'll need the extra help." Spike informed which they all agreed with.

"You must hurry Spike, if they take off into space before we stop them, there will be no stopping the Overlord!" Garmadon advised making Spike nod his head in agreement.

"Be careful out there dad, we don't know what will be there!" Allison warned as Spike and the ninja all started running to the exit to catch up quickly.

"Don't worry, we'll stick together for this, you guys ready?" Spike asked while he put on his mask.

"Let's go guys!" Lloyd shouted as the elevator began taking them down again so they can catch up, and as they ran outside of the tower, Spike formed his Elemental Dragon again and took off into the skies while the other's took off into the dessert with they're vehicles to Ouroboros which wasn't too far away.

As everyone was rushing to Ouroboros to save Kai, within a secret base in the city, Pythor was heading up to the launch pad to begin it.
"Prepare the launch sequence!" Pythor ordered towards the controlled Borg who went to begin it as Kai was seen chained just below the boosters which will kill him once the rocket takes off.

Everyone had finally made they're way to the city to find out where they are, as Spike landed on the ground near everyone else, they saw that no one was here which confused them all.
"I don't get it, where are they?" Cole asked with concern while they all got on the ground together.

"He said they would be here!" Lloyd pointed out as they looked around for them.

"Well your dad was wrong! We should've never listened to him!" Jay said with frustration, making Spike slap his arm in response thinking it was rude.

"Hang on Jay, there must be something here, but what?" Spike questioned as he looked at the sky for an answer.

But the ground below them suddenly began to shake suddenly, and to they're surprise, it started to open up beneath them which freaked them out.
"Watch out!" Zane screamed as they all tried running off the center of the place, but they were too far away from they're vehicles, and everyone screamed as they fell into an opening hatch which had a base right beneath it.

Everyone screamed right as they fell on a platform very hard which made them all groan with pain, but as they were getting up, they were finally able to see what they were doing.
"Arcturus?" Jay questioned as they saw a rocket with the name on the side of it.

"Guys look! It's Kai! We have to save him!" Lloyd informed as they saw Kai tied up beneath the boosters.

"No, we need the launch key to stop the launch command! If the Overlord gets the Golden Weapons, he'll be to powerful!" Zane said with fear while they tried rushing to the key to stop it.

"Let's hurry up guys!" Spike shouted just as Pythor heard they're commotion, and he turned around to see they were all right above him which infuriated him.

"Stop them!" Pythor screamed while pointing to the platform they were on, and that made all the Nindroids look up at them and fired lasers right beneath them which destroyed the platform they were on, Lloyd was barely able to hang onto the ledge as everyone else landed on the ground, all of them quickly got up as they saw multiple Nindroids charging at them.

"Hang on Kai! We're coming!" Spike shouted as he shot more Energy beams at the Nindroids to take them down, and while they were all fighting through the Nindroids to save Kai, Lloyd jumped right towards the door which opened up jut in time.

As this was happening, Kai used the strength he had to break one of the chains holding him down to get out of there, but just as Lloyd was about to grab the key to stop it, he was stopped by the controlled Borg who knocked him to the ground just before he did, and to make it worse, Pythor had arrived on the scene after figuring out what he's up to.

Kai formed more fire in his hands again before he shot a blast directly in the middle of the Nindroids which knocked them all down, and Zane used his powers to freeze some of them in place, which was followed up by Jay shocking some of the Nindroids to shut them down, and Spike used his Crystal powers again to encase them to prevent them from moving.
"Retreat!" Cryptor shouted to the remaining Nindroids who all ran up towards the entrance of the rocket escape.

"Hey! Where do you think your going?!" Cole shouted as he quickly ran up to the door and tried opening it with his strength, but it was shut too tightly for him to do anything, leaving them stuck outside.

"It won't budge!" Cole shouted to the other's who had finally freed Kai who was relieved to be free.

"Everyone! I need your help!" Lloyd screamed while he was being held by the neck and brought to the ledge to be dropped off it.

"Oh little Lloyd, needing help? Shouldn't have given up all that Golden Power hmm?" Pythor asked mockingly while he went to turn the launch key.

"No!" Spike screamed with fear just as he turned it which began a countdown to the rocket's takeoff.

"T minus, 30 seconds." The computer announced as the clock was counting down, and Lloyd was dropped from the platform finally which made the other's run up to catch him just in time.

"Don't worry Lloyd, we got you!" Spike assured while they helped him up as the timer kept counting down.

"I need to get back up there!" Lloyd shouted as Cole ran down to them.

"Forget them, we need to get out of here!" Cole shouted to them as 20 seconds remained.

"We can't! There's too much at stake! We can't just leave!" Spike countered while they ran up to a spare hatch that they could hide in.

"Spike's right! We need to do everything we can to make sure they don't get those weapons!" Lloyd shouted as he opened up the thing to get inside it.

"If we have to go to space to stop them! So be it!" Spike shouted again while he climbed inside it too.

"Are you two nuts?! Ninja don't belong in space!" Cole shouted with a look of fear hearing this plan of theirs.

"I'm with Cole on this! This is even beyond me!" Jay added as Kai and Zane were climbing in next.

"We have to try, you said nothing would ever separate us again!" Lloyd reminded as 5 seconds remained on the timer now.

"So we're all going, are you with us? Or not?" Lloyd questioned which made them see there was no other option.

And from that moment, the counter finally had reached 0. And the rocket had finally began taking off into space which could be seen far across the dessert, and unfortunately, Allison, Wu, Nya and Garmadon were too late to reach them in time after they got there first.
"We're too late!" Nya said with horror as they saw them taking off.

"Dad.." Allison said with guilt while she clutched her fists, making a few more rocks float up for just a second before they fell back down.

"I'm picking up Zane's signal on board that rocket ship, along with 5 other life forms." Pixal informed which made them realize what was going on in there.

"Oh by the grace of the First Spinjitzu Master.." Wu said with regret at the sight of this.

"You wanted them to take risks. To see how far they'll go, Is this what you had in mind? How far?! How far must they go?!" Garmadon questioned with an upset look as they all looked up at the rocket taking off.

"Come back safe to us ninja.. come back safe.." Wu prayed as the rocket went past the atmosphere, with the Nindroids going after the Golden Weapons, Spike and the others are heading off into space to stop them.

Thanks for reading this everyone! Sorry that there wasn't much changed from Kai's chase with the convoy in this episode, but there wasn't much I could do even if Spike was with him for it, so sorry if that felt like it went on a bit too long.

I'll make sure to go more into detail about what Lloyd giving up some of his power to Spike and Allison will mean for the next seasons soon, Season 4 will expand more on what Spike can do now that he has some of Lloyd's own power, and for Allison, while I don't know when exactly she can start fully controlling her new powers, I'll try finding something soon, since I mainly plan on having Spike compete in the Tournament of Elements with the other Ninja, but if you have ideas on who Spike could face, let me know and I'll try working that in the story.

But for the next chapter, Spike and the other's are heading off into space! It's gonna be a bit wild with them trying to stop the Nindroids from getting the Golden Weapons, so I look forward to covering that episode soon. Hope you liked this chapter, and look forward to the next!
