The rocket ship that Spike and the others managed to stow away on was currently flying off into space, it had already broken past the atmosphere at this point, and was making its way to where the Golden Weapons were. Spike and Jay were able to see the view of the Earth and space from the window, and the sight of it was both shocking, and amazing at the same time.

No one said anything as they were just taking in the moment right now, there was zero gravity in the area of the ship they're in, and they were all floating around the place while trying to process this. Spike was both scared and amazed at the fact he's actually in space, never in his life did he think he'd go this far, but being a ninja really does come with crazy things happening. He couldn't wait to tell Twilight and the other's about this adventure when he finds his way home one day.

But after a few moments of silence and taking in what's happening, Jay finally decided to speak out after he was pretending to swim backwards in zero gravity.
"Is this the greatest thing ever or what?!" Jay asked excitedly, still amazed at the fact they're in space.

"Where are you? We're trapped in space, and you.. where did you go?!" Kai asked with frustration while Spike laughed a bit while he swam around in zero gravity too.

"I know this situation is very intense and all, but this is still amazing! We're actually in space! I never thought I'd live to see something like this!" Spike said with joy which Jay agreed with.

"Right?! It's like we're in a Fritz Donnegan movie! It's insane!" Jay said as they high fived each other while enjoying a bit of what's going on right now while the others were still worried about this.

"Fritz is from a comic book Jay! This is real!" Lloyd shouted with fear as he couldn't control where he's going currently.

"Well you got me hooked onto the character! Would you lighten up and not step on my dreams of being a real Starfarer just yet?" Jay asked as he struck some poses while in the air still.

"You should show me more about that comic series later Lloyd! Do you know how much I was into comics back in Equestria? The Power Ponies in space would be awesome if that ever released!" Spike added in while still feeling amazed at this.

"I'll look into that series whenever we get the chance Spike, but we need to take control of this ship. If they bring the Golden Weapons back to the Overlord, Ninjago doesn't stand much of a chance!" Lloyd shouted just as Kai bumped into him and knocked him away which made him scream with fear.

"But there's no access to the rest of the ship, the only way out is through the airlock we came in." Kai pointed out while Zane looked out the window.

"And if my memory serves me correctly, space has a means of taking one's breath away.. in a negative sense.." Zane reminded while they could see the Earth from the window which was a scary, but beautiful sight to see knowing just how small they're world is compared to the rest of the universe.

But as this was going on, within the bridge of the ship, Cryptor and the Nindroids were tracking the Golden Weapons after figuring out where they were, they were on a special comet that was nearby, and this is the only chance they have of getting them.
"Delta V Guidance. Data zero point thirty. Initiate auto sequencing." Cryptor ordered the Mindroid who nodded respectfully hearing it, and it used its gravity boots to fly over to another part of the ship to begin detaching the cargo holding the part of the ship Spike and the other's were in.

Zane was able to pick up on this, and as they all floated over to the computer in the cargo room, they could see they had less than 5 minutes in here before the ship detaches them.
"Enjoy this while you can you two, because in about 5 minutes, the entire ship is scheduled to lighten up. The supplemental boosters are set to detach!" Zane informed with a worried look while Kai was still confused.

"I'm a ninja, not an astronaut, what does that mean?" Kai asked with a confused look while Zane brought in the ship's map to show where they are.

"The portion of the ship we're currently stationed in, will soon detach, and we will be abandoned in space with it." Zane informed which made Spike gulp with fear at the thought of it.

"Okay, so maybe this isn't as cool as I thought it was.." Spike said with worry at the thought of it.

But just as they were trying to figure out, they were getting a transmission from what looked like Pixal, Wu, Garmadon and everyone else who were still on Earth trying to figure out a way to reach them.
"Hello? Kai? Spike? Anyone there? Can you all hear me?" Nya asked with worry while they all head headset's onto communicate with them.

"We read you loud and clear!" Kai replied which made them sigh with relief knowing they're okay.

"Thank goodness!" Allison hissed while Spike smiled seeing she's still alright even after they took off into space.

"Good to hear from you all! We're going to get you home safe. Pixal was able to find the blueprints for the rocket." Wu informed as they showed them the layout to help them come up with a plan.

"You need to escape the cargo hold before it's too late. And near the front of the ship, is an A2 storage compartment. Inside you will find emergency spacesuits that will be enough for all of you." Wu instructed which was worrying to know.

"That will be rough, we can't get the suits unless we go outside. And the problem is, we can't go outside if we don't have the spacesuits! Any other suggestions?" Cole suggested while Garmadon looked over to Wu to whisper something to him.

"Their completely out of they're element. Even if we get them through this, what chance do we have of getting them home?" Garmadon asked with worry which everyone could hear.

"Uh.. you know we can still hear you right?" Kai asked since he was wearing a headset right now.

"Yeah, we all can Garmadon, not exactly the best time to be saying something like that." Allison added while she crossed her arms and looked annoyed at this.

"I hope you don't mind, but we really could use some encouraging words right about now?" Lloyd asked with a hopeful look which gave Wu something to tell them.

"If you cannot change your circumstances, change yourself." Wu instructed which confused them a bit.

"Can anyone else figure that out?" Kai asked since it was tough to fully understand right now.

"It takes quite some time for us to figure out what Sensei Wu is trying to tell us, but I think we'll figure out at some point. "Spike replied with a shrug hearing it.

"Do you guys have any ideas to get us out of here?!" Jay asked with a growing fear which gave Pixal an idea.

"Zane, you're the only one who can survive outside the ship." Pixal informed which Zane knew was true.

"She's right, I'm the only one who doesn't need oxygen. I must go alone." Zane declared as he began floating to the airlock to get them out of there in time.

"Be careful uncle Zane." Allison encouraged while Spike gave Zane a pat on the shoulder for encouragement.

"We're all counting on you, come back safe." Spike encouraged which Zane smiled at.

"Thank you my friend, I'll get us out of here, I promise." Zane replied as Spike went back a bit as they watched him go to the door. He soon pressed on the switch and opened the door which helped him float outside before it closed tightly while Spike and the others were only able to watch him go.

"You got this Zane!" Kai said with confidence as Zane began to float to the airlock, and with a confident look, Zane pressed the switch which opened the airlock which almost got him sucked out into space, but Zane saved himself by grabbing onto a wire which saved him at the last moment.

Once the wind finally stopped, Zane pulled himself off the wire and tried climbing to the storage compartment, and Zane gasped with fear as he could see just how small he is compared to both the ship, and the size of the planet in the void of space around him.

There was a large blue comet currently passing by the planet which the Nindroids were preparing to lock in on, with it so close, they weren't gonna waste they're chance to get the weapons.
"Approaching comet. Prepare to disengage supplementary boosters." Cryptor announced to the other Nindroids who got to work quickly.

Zane was able to catch on to what he's saying without being caught, but Zane suddenly slipped away from the ship and screamed as he began to float away from the ship more and more by the second.
"No, no no, no!" Zane shouted as he tried catching any part of the ship, but was unable to grab onto anything which made him float off even more.

Zane was gasping with fear as he kept on flying further from the ship, almost being left out in space completely by himself, but Zane took a deep breath and calmed down, and tried figuring out how to get through this.
"Come on Zane, you can do this. You can get back.." Zane told himself before he held his hands down, and go tan idea on what to do.

"Ice!" Zane screamed as he used his elemental powers and shot them from his hands, and that helped him fly his way back to the ship without much trouble at all, Zane was soon able to make it straight to the storage area like he was supposed to, and sighed in relief while he went to the door.

While it needed a code to be unlocked, Zane had no trouble to hack it thanks to his fast movements and skill, and the code turned out to be just.. 1234 all in that order which was strange to him. But it was able to open the door to the compartment, and as Zane floated inside, he smiled with joy as he finally found all the suits, there were enough for all of them without any problems, and using his powers, he quickly went to work and grabbed all of them to get them back to the other's quickly.

"Come on Zane, where are you?" Lloyd asked with fear as there was only 20 seconds left to countdown.

"Booster's separation on my command, 5, 4, 3, 2.. disengage." Cryptor announced which made the Nindroids finally release the boosters from the ship, and the cargo the others were presumably still in, began falling towards the Earth, leaving Allison and everyone else watching praying for they're safety.

But after what felt like minutes of silence, they finally got a response after fearing they didn't make it.
"We managed to make it! We got the suits just in time!" Lloyd announced from the coms which made them cheer with joy hearing from them all again.

"Don't ever scare us like that again!" Allison said with relief while Spike chuckled from the other side as he and the others were hanging on the side of the ship's wing.

"Don't worry about it, we're not going anywhere! It was a very close call let me tell you." Spike replied while he looked at Zane with a smile as he and everyone else had they're suits on so they could move around outside the ship in space.

"This is one way for us to change ourselves, so now we can stay on this ride for a little bit longer." Lloyd said as they held on tightly since it was life or death at this very moment.

"Alright, to commandeer the ship, you need to get to the cockpit, there's an access hatch just ahead of you!" Nya informed as they saw the hatch not too far away from where they are.

"You know what's also ahead? A desolate void of nothingness! If any of us falls off.." Cole said with fear at the thought of them being left to die in the void without any ways of ever being found.

"We'll take things slow, together." Kai assured just as the boosters of the ship helped move the ship even more which made them all scream at the sudden speed boost.

"Unlike the ship!" Spike screamed with fear just as the ship slowed down again which made them all groan after almost falling off.

"I can't wait to see the expressions of those metal chrome domes when they found out we stowed away on board!" Jay said eagerly while they tried climbing to the hatch.

"They're Nindroids, nimrod. They don't have expressions." Cole replied with an annoyed look hearing that.

"Oh yeah? Well Zane has expressions." Jay replied while the Nindroids were all able to hear it from the cockpit which infuriated Cryptor knowing they've stowed away.

"That's because Zane's not like them! Do we have to go over this right now?" Kai asked with an annoyed tone hearing this.

"Yeah, save your stupid bickering for when we get back to Earth please!" Spike added while looking annoyed this is still going on between them.

"Come on Spike, it's so quiet out here, I'm just trying to fill the space." Jay joked which Spike groaned at even more while the Nindroids could still hear all of this.

"We get it!" Spike shouted with frustration as he still kept going on about this.

"Get rid of them." Cryptor ordered the other Nindroids who quickly went to the nearest door to take them down.

Once they left, Cryptor pushed a button on his chair which got in contact with Pythor who was waiting for they're reports.
"The Ninja have all stowed away on the ship." Cryptor informed as they were getting closer to the comet in the distance.

"Stay on the course for the Golden Weapons, they must be getting help. We'll find who's aiding them and put a stop to them." Pythor instructed which Cryptor could understand.

And as Spike and the other's were getting closer to the hatch, they all saw the Nindroids come out of the ship with blasters in they're hands.
"So much for our surprise attack! Look out guys!" Cole screamed as the Nindroids laughed again as they began firing on them while they tried keeping a hold onto the ship.

"Jay, watch out!" Spike shouted as one of the Nindroids jumped over to him and landed down thanks to his magnetic boots, but Jay got an idea and pulled an antenna back before he released it, and it actually knocked the Nindroid back who screamed as it was knocked off the ship.

And Jay jumped upside down to grab the blaster he held and landed on the top to face the other Nindroids.
"Haha! Awesome! Get them Jay!" Spike shouted as he and the other's cheered for him as he did a space battle against them.

"Not Jay my friend, Fritz Donnegan! Fear isn't a word where I come from!" Jay shouted as he shot multiple blasts at the Nindroids while the other's watched with amazement seeing him adjust to this really well.

"Oh man, I'm sorry for introducing him to that guys." Lloyd apologized while the other's didn't mind this at all.

"Come on Lloyd, I like that comic series just as much as Jay does!" Spike said with a smile while he looked ahead to the other Nindroids.

"This is a good thing Lloyd! If we can't change our circumstances, this is one way to change yourself!" Kai pointed out while Spike felt eager to have a cool space battle against them.

"If that's what Wu means, then let's take advantage of it! Let's go!" Spike screamed as he charged up a crystal blast and shot it from his hand, and that hit a Nindroid directly who was sent flying away while Kai shot multiple fire blasts at more to follow up.

Lloyd dodged another laser blast and decided to use his own power to form an Energy shield around him so he can push through it, and as one Nindroid came up to Spike and tried to hit him, Spike ducked under a kick and punched the Nindroid in the chest before he grabbed it's blaster, and made a battle cry as he spun the Nindroid around for a bit before throwing him into the void while taking his blaster.
"Ha! It's like we're actually in a comic book! This is insane!" Spike cheered while he and Jay used the blasters as weapons.

"Tell me about it! This is the coolest thing ever!" Jay cheered while Spike gave him some cover. Cole ripped off a piece of the ship and threw it at the Nindroids to knock them off, and it gave them more time to keep moving.

"Hope we didn't need that!" Cole prayed while he ducked under more lasers that were flying around the whole area.

"Ice!" Zane screamed as he shot another blast at two Nindroids which the Mindroid barely avoided, and even more started climbing out of the ship to put a stop to they're attempts.

But as the Mindroid jumped over to Cole and tried to attack him, Cole tried to fight back by using Spinjitzu on him.
"Ninja go!" Cole screamed as he used Spinjitzu again, but couldn't stay in it for long before he started spiraling out of control.

"Ahh! Guys?! A little help please?!" Cole shouted with fear as he was starting to float away from the ship.

"We can't use our Spinjitzu in zero gravity, there's too little resistance!" Zane informed which Lloyd was annoyed at.

"Too little?! I'd say the resistance is a bit more than we can handle at the moment!" Lloyd replied as he tried keeping his energy shield up to push through the fire.

"We can't let Cole fly too far! Someone go and save him now!" Spike shouted as he shot one Nindroid in the chest and sent him flying away like a lot of other Nindroids.

"Fritz! Please save Cole!" Kai shouted in a desperate tone since he knew Jay would comply with that.

"I'm on it, Commander Kiflin!" Jay shouted as he did a flip and went behind the Mindroid and kicked him in the head which made him start floating away from the ship, but before he was blown off the ship fully, he managed to grab a small wire that saved him just before he fell off, but nearby being fried by the rockets boosters in the process.

"Help!" Cole screamed with terror while he was floating away more by the second. Jay was able to take notice of this and managed to find and attach a spare cable that was long enough to help him catch him, once he attached it to his suit, he quickly turned around and jumped off the ship to save him.

"Fritz Donnegan to the rescue!" Jay screamed while he flew as far as the cable was able to go.

"Help!!" Cole screamed again as the Mindroid was seen holding on for it's life the best it could, and just before he got too far, Jay was able to catch him just before he was lost in the void.

"Gotcha! Next time, don't get carried away." Jay joked while he held onto his legs to save him while Spike, Kai and Zane were pulling them back to the ship.

"Thanks, I owe you one.." Cole said gratefully.

"Okay, stay away from Nya!" Jay said with an annoyed look which Cole had to find a way around.

"Uh.. maybe another one." Cole said with a nervous smile hearing that from him.

"Ugh, I really hope they figure this out soon, this is not the best time to be talking about this." Spike groaned while they pulled them back onto the ship finally.

But at this moment, the ship was nearing the comet where the weapons were, and Cryptor knew this was the only chance they had now.
"The Golden Weapons. Prepare for entry, but take us through the comet's tail." Cryptor ordered which did concern some of them.

"But General, the Comet's letting off a high volume of debris." One of them warned which Cryptor didn't care for.

"Do it!" Cryptor demanded which made them begin steering the ship directly into the tail of the comet.

Everything was getting extremely intense as they were all trying to avoid falling off the ship as it was speeding up to the comet, and Wu was trying his best to inform them of what they need to do.
"You're almost to the cockpit! Just make sure you continue your course, and stay on the path ahead!" Wu instructed while his words were glitching out from the interference.

"We can't hear you sensei? We're getting too much interference!" Kai shouted as there was too much going on.

"Look out!" Spike screamed just as he pushed Kai down before a large asteroid almost hit the ship.

"Asteroids!" Zane screamed just as Lloyd got knocked down by one of them while they all saw dozens of them were coming straight towards them.

"Cryptor's steering us into the tail of the comet! Find cover!" Kai screamed just as they barely avoided being hit by another one which was made of ice.

"Cover? What cover?!" Cole shouted as some Nindroids jumped into the ship for safety, leaving some of them outside which actually made them look very scared knowing what's coming for them.

"Haha! Look! They do have expressions!" Jay said with a laugh seeing them look very afraid.

"Uh... Jay? They have a right to be afraid! Watch out!" Spike screamed just as he used his powers and shot a blast at a larger asteroid and split it apart just in time which barely hit them all.

"I.. can see why Spike.." Jay said with fear as they saw the Nindroids being knocked off the ship.

Back in Borg Tower, Allison and the other's were trying to keep in contact with them, but they couldn't get anything since they're in a dangerous spot at this very moment.
"They can't hear us because of the asteroid shower." Wu informed the others who were worried on how to help them.

"They must be preparing to land." Pixal suggested while Allison was very worried for all of them.

"Ugh, why can't anything ever be easy?!" Allison asked with frustration knowing her dad's in grave danger right now.

"We need to keep in touch with them to warn them about what's on that comet!" Garmadon said with worry while Nya noticed something on the cameras which made this worse.

"We're.. not alone either everyone.." Nya said with worry as they could see an army of Nindroids were marching up to the entrance, and they soon blew down the entrance for them to storm the tower after tracking them here.

Pythor and the army of Nindroids marched into the tower after making they're way to the city again, and as they kept moving, some of them were carrying a large container holding what looked to be the Overlord himself.
"The transmissions are coming from here." Pythor informed as they all stopped for a moment while they looked around the building.

"Seize the entire building, this place will play a crucial role to our greater agenda. Once they return with the Golden Weapons." Overlord ordered as he looked through the small mirror which showed only a small part of his new physical form.

"Do it!" Pythor shouted to the Nindroids who all began running through the place to take it over.

"We need to go, now!" Wu shouted as he and everyone else could see they had little time here.

"But we need to warn them! We can't just leave without telling them what's out there!" Garmadon argued while Allison looked very worried with what's happening.

"Well there's not much we'll be able to do by standing here! We need to find a place to hide!" Allison shouted with a worried look.

"Grab everything you can! We need to keep in touch with the others!" Wu instructed which made them all grab the computer components they needed, and Nya noticed that the window was still cracked open which gave them a place to escape.

"This way!" Nya instructed which made them all run to the window to escape quickly. And as this was happening, the ship Spike and the others were holding onto was approaching the comet at fast speeds.

"We're coming in hot!" Kai shouted just as Lloyd slipped off and screamed with fear as he was about to float away.

"Hang on Lloyd! We got you!" Spike screamed just as he and the other's grabbed eachother's arms to save him, and Cole tried holding onto the ship the best he could as they were finally entering it.

"Hold on!!" Cole screamed as the ship finally entered the comet, and was flying around all the debris in its way while everyone held on for their lives.

Pythor and the other Nindroids had soon made it to the top of the tower, and they soon saw that it was abandoned with no signs of them being seen.
"Hmph, the cowards have fled. I expected that little girl to stay behind to hold us back, disappointing." Pythor said with annoyance while the other Nindroids came in with the controlled Borg, and brought the container holding the Overlord inside, and soon set it down as he looked very pleased with a report he recently got.

"But Arcturus has landed. Prepare the factory!" Overlord ordered as the container finally began to open itself, and everyone walked back a bit as the door finally opened, and the Overlord stepped out of it in a new physical body he was able to be given, even if he's still pretty weak at this moment, once he gets the weapons, nothing will be able to stop him.

"The Golden Master, will rise on their return!" Overlord shouted with malice as he laughed evilly upon finally having a physical form.

Allison and everyone else were hiding on a platform just outside of the window, and were able to hear the Overlord and knew he finally had a new body again.
"He's vulnerable, we must fight him now!" Garmadon suggested while Allison was eager to get back at Pythor right now.

"Just say the word, and I'll give Pythor a lesson he won't forget!" Allison whispered which Wu disagreed with.

"This isn't the time for that Allison, we must get Spike and the others home safe, we must get back in contact with them." Garmadon replied just as the controlled Borg was able to hear their conversation nearby.

"We need to find somewhere safe where we can't be found." Wu informed which gave Garmadon an idea on where they need to go.

"I know just the place!" Garmadon declared just before all of them screamed as the platform was starting to shake, and looking above them, they saw that the controlled Borg was firing a laser at one of the wires which won't last much longer.

"We can't lose any of these computer components, we need all of them!" Nya shouted just as the wire was cut through, and the platform almost fell over and was barely able to keep steady.

"Yeah well that's a bit hard for us right now!" Allison shouted with annoyance while Wu looked ahead and saw a small helipad nearby which they can get to.

"Everyone, use our momentum, together!" Wu shouted as they all used their weight to make the platform lean over to it, and just as the next wire was cut, it finally began to fall which made all of them jump for it.

"Now!" Wu screamed just as all of them managed to land safely onto the place, but Wu was too far away to grab the ledge in time, and almost fell down the tower. But Garmadon quickly reached out and grabbed his hand just in time to save his life.

"I've got you brother!" Garmadon assured while Allison helped pull him up, and all the Nindroids began firing down on them since they discovered they're location, and Nya took out her metal fan and tried using it to deflect they're blasts.

"Great, now we'll never get out of here!" Nya said with worry just as Pixal got an idea, and placed her hand on her head to get in contact with something.

"Leave that to me!" Pixal replied while Nya tried deflecting any blasts coming to her.

"Get them you imbeciles!" Pythor ordered with frustration while Allison dodged another blast and looked very annoyed.

"How about you come down here so I can kick your tail again Pythor?!" Allison shouted with anger while Garmadon was holding her back from being reckless. And as they were being pushed back, one of the hover cars came up to them to get them out of there which relieved them all.

"Great work Pixal! You're still linked to the security forces!" Nya said with a smile while they took the components to escape.

"Now let's get out of here." Pixal announced as all of them jumped into their seats just as the hatch closed, and she quickly flew them away from the tower.

"I hope the city can survive without us." Garmadon prayed while Allison looked very worried knowing it's left without anyone to protect it now.

"We'll be back soon, right now, we need to get dad and everyone else home safely." Allison assured as they all flew off to somewhere safe.

Back on the comet the ship had crashed into after the Nindroids finally landed down on it, Spike and the others groaned as they were finally getting up after blacking out for a bit, the landing was far rougher then they thought it would be, but it was good knowing they're on real ground again right now.
"Is everyone okay?" Spike asked while he turned on his suits lights to see the comet they're on, and it was nothing more than a large landscape with spiked pillars and ice all over the place, showing no signs of life at all from it.

"We're fine Spike, at least we survived." Jay said with joy knowing they're still okay while Lloyd tried picking up any feedback from the others.

"Nya, are you there? Allison? Dad? Wu? Anyone?!" Lloyd asked while he wasn't getting anything from them.

"We'll get in contact with them when we can, but we need to hurry guys, the ship looks abandoned." Spike replied as they marched over to it since all the lights were out.

"Maybe the other's didn't make it?" Kai suggested as they made their way inside to the cockpit finally to find a way out of here, and the whole place was completely abandoned, with no signs of the Nindroids being here at all.

"They're all gone. The whole place is abandoned." Zane said while they looked around the place for anything to help them.

"They must've already left for the Golden Weapons. Quick, let's take the ship to get home before they get back!" Jay said as he went to the front of the ship to try and start it. But he soon groaned in frustration as he saw that the launch key wasn't here either which made this tougher for them.

"They took the launch key!" Jay said with frustration which the other's found confusing.

"Are you saying this entire ship starts up with nothing but a simple key?!" Kai asked with a baffled look while Spike found that stupid.

"Who's idea was to have that be part of the ship's design?!" Spike asked with anger while they rushed around the place to start it.

"Please tell me one of you knows how to hotwire a spaceship guys?" Cole asked with a hopeful look just as Lloyd came in after finding something important.

"Guys, you need to see this!" Lloyd informed as he made all of them follow him to a small hanger where the doors were already opened up, but there were large tracks on the ground that left a trail behind.

"They took lunar rovers." Jay announced since only one was left which they could use.

"We can use this to our advantage, let's try and follow those tracks!" Lloyd suggested while they ran to the rover to go after them.

"Does anyone know how to drive this thing?" Spike asked with worry which the other's found hard to answer.

"Uh.. let's just hope for the best?" Kai replied with a nervous look while Spike groaned feeling this wasn't gonna go well.

And Spike had the right to be worried, as they all had to tightly fit inside this thing to make it to where the Nindroids were going, they were all super cramped inside and had trouble moving, and it was getting really upsetting the longer they were stuck in here.
"Agh! Move your gas tank I can't see!" Jay said with annoyance as he was cramped up in the corner at this moment.

"Your blaster is in my rib!" Cole complained while Spike's head was squeezing out the side of Kai's arm.

"That's not a blaster, that's my leg!" Jay pointed out which Cole was ashamed by a bit.

"Zane your squeezing my arm!" Cole informed which surprised Zane a bit.

"Apologies, I thought that was the accelerator." Zane said as they were roughly moving along the ground to make it to them.

"How much further?! I can barely even move here, and this suit is getting really annoying! And my tail feels like it's shoved right up my a.." Spike said just before Jay slapped the side of his helmet to stop him.

"Don't ever swear Spike, it's a sign of weak verbal skills." Jay advised which Spike was ashamed by a bit.

"Right.. sorry.." Spike apologized just as they saw a large looking cave just ahead of them.

"This must be where the Golden Weapons landed." Kai said as they stopped in front while they saw a golden light coming from them.

They soon made their way into the cave to find them, and they soon saw all the Nindroids were currently trying to extract them as they were all being held together in a large ball that held huge power, Spike could see each of their weapons cramped together, even his old Trident was seen poking out of one of the nets, almost like it was gonna fall out while the others were stuck together.
"There's the weapons guys!" Cole whispered to them as they saw them ahead.

"And there's the key!" Kai pointed out while they saw Cryptor had it around his neck, but he soon saw a Nindroid was going up to the weapons, and was about to

"No! Don't!" Cryptor warned just before the Nindroid touched it at the tip of Spike's trident, and he was completely disintegrated which really scared the other Nindroids there.

"Only the Overlord can withstand the power of all the weapons combined, no one directly touch this!" Cryptor ordered while they backed up from it for they're own safety.

"Those are the Golden Weapons alright!" Jay confirmed just as Zane noticed a strange alien bug crawl on his arm.

"Hello there little friend." Zane said with a small smile from under his mask while the others noticed it too.

"Oh would you look at that? Can you believe it? It's an extraterrestrial life form!" Jay said with amazement while Spike and Cole were both concerned seeing it.

"And how do you know touching it won't poison or contaminate your suit or something?" Spike asked since he had a feeling this is gonna go wrong fast.

"It's just a bug Spike, but you're right, we shouldn't interact with these things, that's not important right now." Cole said in agreement.

"But there's so much we could learn from it! So much we can teach it! I'm gonna call it.. Glowy!" Jay said with a smile while Spike rolled his eyes seeing it, and the thing soon spread its wings and started flying over the place which the other's were able to watch.

"Look at that! Glowy can fly! How cute!" Jay pointed out as the thing landed on his helmet, but at that moment, they were finally getting a transmission again from the other's after a long time.

"You must not disturb the alien life! They are very dangerous! Can you hear me?" Wu asked from Kai's radio which he could barley here at the moment.

"I couldn't make that out sensei, what did you say?" Kai asked as we cut back to Earth at nighttime after they escaped, the comet they were on could be seen from space right now, and the camera pins down to Garmadon's monastery which had been left in Misako's care since they started this whole adventure.

Allison was helping the other's set up the transmitters so they could warn them of what's out there, and Wu was trying his best to let them know what's happening.
"The Alien life, they're dangerous!" Wu warned just as Allison pulled up results based on the very bug they see before them.

"Nya, what kind of creature is this?" Allison hissed while Nya researched it in a book that had what they needed.

"A few years ago scientists studied a meteorite that had fallen to Ninjago. It's likely from the same comet you're all on." Nya informed just as everyone was being approached by a swarm of them which was getting very worrying.

"Inside the meteorite were the fossilized remains of some kind of parasite that feeds on metal alloys!" Nya continued while they were crawling up on all of them which was freaking out Spike.

"They tickle!" Zane said with a chuckle while Spike was getting scared with seeing so many of them.

"Stop it silly glowy!" Jay laughed while they were swarming around them while making buzz noises just before one bit Zane on his face.

"Ow!" Zane said with pain just as Nya finally finished informing them about this.

"Do you all hear me?! Whatever you do, don't come in contact with the parasites! They eat through metal!" Nya warned which made them all realize these were all bad news.

"Ah! no no no no no! I am not wanting to deal with bugs like these again!" Spike screamed while all of them were flailing around to get them off they're suits.

"They're eating through my exoskeleton!" Zane screamed with fear while they tried shaking them off.

"Bad Glowy! Bad!" Jay screamed while they were all making screams loud enough to be heard by the other Nindroids who had begun extracting the weapons. Cryptor groaned in frustration just as he saw one of them try to bite his mask which made him squash the things with his hands, and the other bugs tried landing on the weapons, only to be destroyed instantly from they're immense power.

"The gold must remain intact! Back to the ship!" Cryptor ordered just as the Nindroids used the rover to pull the weapons out of the crater, and they were soon extracted and were placed on a truck which began driving off while the others were still being swarmed by all of them.

"What do we do guys? Any ideas?" Zane asked hopefully while Spike tried using his fire powers to burn some of them.

"I don't know! Space really isn't as cool as I thought it was!" Spike declared which Cole agreed with.

"Why did it have to be space guys? If I could change any circumstance, it would be ever wanting to come here!" Cole shouted which made Lloyd finally realize it.

"If you can't change your circumstances, change your mind!" Lloyd said in realization which confused some of them.

"Now's not the time to be quoting Wu, Lloyd!" Jay said with annoyance while Lloyd tried explaining things.

"No, I finally understand what he's saying! This is just like the Starteeth! Come on, I got an idea!" Lloyd shouted as he lead them out of the cave to chase after the Nindroids.

And they were currently seen driving along a cliffside which had rough ground to cover, and just from behind, Spike and the other's were chasing after them in the rover they still had.
"Ninja!" One of the Nindroids shouted which made Cryptor more frustrated seeing them from behind.

"Get them!" Cryptor ordered which made the Nindroids begin firing on them which they tried they're best pushing through.

"Lloyd! What does Sensei mean exactly? Even I still can't figure it out!" Spike asked while the ground was rough to move through.

"He meant that instead of focusing on how wrong things are, focus on what's right! We need to think positive. Those parasites aren't just a menace, they're a weapon!" Lloyd shouted as they saw the bugs fly past them directly to the Nindroids which the other's figured out too.

"Attack!!" Lloyd screamed just as they finally began swarming the Nindroids, and the Nindroids screamed as they were making them lose control of some of the vehicles they're on , and it even made one crash into the walls nearby while another one had driven off a cliff.

And as the bugs kept chasing after the Nindroids, they were coming upon a ledge nearby which may be a dead end unless they jump it.
"Go!" Cryptor ordered which the Nindroid driving was scared to do.

"What?!" Cryptor asked with frustration before he kicked him out of the rover and took the wheel, he stepped on the pedals and the rover's drove even faster just as they saw a ramp at the end. And Cryptor went for it which made the rover the other Nindroids were on fall off of it just as Cryptor landed back down.

But that impact was rough for the weapons, and because of it, it made Spike's trident finally slip out as it landed on the ground, and the impact made it bounce extremely high into the air just as the other rover's were about to go for it too which all of them were able to see.

"Guys! Hold on! Isn't that Spike's weapon right there?!" Jay shouted as they saw it make one more bounce which made it fly high into the air and was about to fall over the gap in the distance.

"It is! Speed up Lloyd! We can't let it fall!" Spike shouted just as he punched the door open and climbed to the rooftop.

"We could use this to stop them! Hang on Spike!" Lloyd shouted as he sped the thing up even more while the other rovers jumped over the ramp too, while some failed to land on the ground, a couple more landed safely on the other side, and all the ninja scream as Lloyd sped up as fast as he could to jump over the ramp.

And at the right moment, the rover finally ran over the ramp which made all of them scream as they went over the ledge, and using this opportunity, Spike used the light gravity to make a high jump for his weapon, he did a high flip in the air, and just before the thing missed them, Spike grabbed the very end of the Trident and saved it before it fell off. And the rover soon landed down safely while Spike landed on the roof of the thing with his Trident in his hands!
"Ha! I got my weapon back! Awesome!" Spike cheered while the other Ninja's were glad the Nindroids can't use it for their own gain.

"Hold onto that weapon Spike! And don't let the Nindroids get it! Try to use it to stop them if you can!" Cole shouted while they were just about to catch up to the Nindroids.

"Let's try using it to get that launch key! get ready guys!" Kai shouted as they opened the hatch and held on as they were about to jump for it while Lloyd was still driving the thing.

"Ninja go!!" Everyone screamed while all of them except Zane used Spinjitzu to jump to the other side to fight through the Nindroids.

"Ice!" Zane screamed while he shot an ice blast on a Nindroid and froze him solid, and Spike charged up his Crystal powers and used it with his Trident.

"Crystal!" Spike screamed just as he shot multiple blasts from his weapon at them which knocked most of them out of the rover, and Spike laughed as he twirled his old weapon around and felt great to have it back.

"It feels good to have this back! I may not need it with what I have now, but it won't hurt to have a little fun with it!" Spike shouted while he shot more Lightning blasts from it next to give the other's cover.

"It's best to have that thing now Spike! With it being able to control our other powers too! I'd rather not have it get into the Overlord's hands!" Jay shouted while he punched a Nindroid in the air, and Spike shot a lightning blast at him which knocked him far away.

"Agreed!" Spike shouted in response just as Cole made it to the driver's seat where a Nindroid was driving it.

"Hello!" Cole greeted just before he kicked a Nindroid out of the rover and made it lose control, and Cole quickly jumped back to them while it crashed into a spiked rock. And Kai kicked one last Nindroid away just as the one he was one almost crashed into a wall too.

"Ninja go!!" Kai screamed while he used Spinjitzu again to land on their rover while Zane was on the last one ahead, and as it jumped off another large rock which made them fly into the air, Zane kicked the Nindroid in the side before punching him in the chest, followed by an uppercut which knocked it in the air a bit more, and Zane then grabbed his legs and climbed right onto his body just as he landed on the ground and used his Ice powers to freeze the rover behind him, and just as the Nindroid landed on the weapons which destroyed him instantly, Zane jumped ahead and barely was able to grab onto the net which made him scream as he was being dragged around from the rough speeds.

Zane soon was able to recover from it and he soon used his ice powers to make it back to the other's, leaving only Cryptor and the Mindroid left. And Kai used his Spinjitzu to jump all the way to the rover ahead of them, and once he landed on the top, he kicked the Mindroid down and went straight for the key.
"You can keep your gold!" Kai shouted just as he kicked Cryptor in the face to knock him away from the wheel while he went to escape.

"i've got it! Let's get out of here now! Ninja go!" Kai shouted as he used Spinjitzu to jump on they're rover again just as Cryptor was recovering from it, but once he did, Cryptor screamed with fear as the rover crashed into the side of the wall and flipped the whole vehicle over, making him crash to the ground while the others cheered as they drove past them.

"See ya later!!" Spike shouted as he waved his Trident in the air which infuriated him seeing them escape.

"Ninja!!!" Cryptor screamed with rage while the Mindroid fell was recovering from the crash.

Everyone quickly went to back to the ship to try and escape, since it may be they're only way off this Comet.
"We're home free!" Jay shouted while all of them cheered with joy, but the moment was ruined once they finally made it back to the ship, and all of them gasped with horror as they saw the ship was completely destroyed by all the bugs from earlier.

"The rocket.. it's.. gone.." Lloyd said with horror as almost nothing remained from it other than just the remains of it.

"Then how.. are we gonna get home?" Jay asked with a horrified look seeing this.

"i.. don't think there is a way back.." Cole said with despair just as they heard a familiar voice behind them.

"You're not the only one who can adapt! Your little dragon friend can keep his little Trident! These weapons are all we need to help the Overlord, become the Golden Master!" Cryptor shouted from the distance as he and the other Nindroids were carrying the weapons in the net, and using the rocket boosters they had built into them, they began taking off with the weapons back to Earth to begin their plan.

"So long Ninja!" Cryptor shouted mockingly while they were all left behind on the comet without any way home.

"NO!!" Spike shouted with fear as they saw them heading to the Earth far off in the distance, and Kai had to give the others the bad news of what has just happened.

"They got away. We failed. I repeat, they have the Golden Weapons. We may have gotten Spike's back since it wasn't fully stuck with the others, but it won't be enough to stop them.." Kai said with guilt while they were all horrified hearing it.

"What?! No! This.. can't be.." Allison said with horror while she looked down with sadness knowing this.

"Are you still able to use the rocket to get back? Can you still stop them?" Nya asked with a desperate tone which Kai hated to report.

"No, it's completely destroyed. I'm sorry everyone, we're.. not coming home.." Kai said with regret as he and the others were being swarmed by the bugs again while more of them were still around the ship, and with the Nindroids making their way back to Earth with the weapons, there is very little hope for Ninjago as Spike and the Ninja are currently trapped without a way back..

Thanks for reading this everyone. Sorry it took a bit to post this, but there was some.. really personal stuff that happened that was a lot for me to handle, I don't want to go into it right now, but just know that what happened this weakened was.. really tough for me, and my family, and I had to finish it up at a later point then I originally wanted. I wanted to get this season done by the end of the year, but with what's come up now, I wasn't able to have the time to do it, I hope that's understandable.

But I hope this chapter was good, I really wish we got a full season of the Ninja in space, because it would've been a really cool setting to take them given what we got here, but for just this one episode, it was still really cool. But now we're coming up to the finale of Season 3, and it'll be pretty emotional by the end of it.

I'll make sure to have Spike's Trident feel important in this next episode since it may be the last time he'll use it up to March of the Oni, I'll make sure it doesn't feel forced that he just got it back, and I'll do my best to wrap the Season up before moving on to Tournament of Elements, one of my personal favorite seasons. But for now, I hope this was good, and you look forward to more of it everyone!
