Twilight typed away on the computer, replying to the email she sent last night. She sighed with relief as the company failed to update their systems on the wildlife and apologized for the error and will give them a bonus if they get the Quota done. Twilight updated their computer and her backup data pad after she dropped the other one in the room. She learned the little bugs were called hoarding bugs and learned about them, but in a certain section of their page, she read out loud, which Rainbow was listening to.

"Hmm... The hoarding bugs are scavengers that collect anything; they were given their name due to their territorial nature. Once they have chosen a place as their nest, they will seek to adorn it with any object they can find and will protect these objects as a part of the nest. Hoarding bugs are not as dangerous alone as they are in large hives. However, if left alone, hoarding bugs are surprisingly neutral and pose little danger." said Twilight, noticing the author note on the bugs and reading it as well. "Hoarding bugs will attack you if you get too close for too long. We love the stupid cuddle bugs!!! They even make a cute noise when finding loot or talking to each other."

"Wow, that's pretty cute. Whoever wrote this sounds like they're into the cuteness of these things." commented Dash, making breakfast but blushing hard.

Twilight turned the screen off and turned to Rainbow.

"Well, I'm glad they didn't hurt us when we invaded their nest. I wonder why. Hmm," thought Twilight, thinking about the bugs.

"Hey, Twilight. What did the company say? Are we being fired?" asked Rainbow, bringing her some toast.

"Thank you, Rainbow," said Twilight, eating the toast. "No, the company is actually praising us for finding that stash, but they did say they're going to fire us if we don't reach the quota in the next two days but if we do reach it, we'll get a bonus after their fuck up."

Rainbow sighed with relief but also worry "Great, just great. So, what's the plan today?"

Twilight swallowed her toast and answered, "I want to investigate the same building again and not only get that pile of scrap from the bugs but also recover that power core. It seems the company really wants it."

"So, another trip to the buggy building. Gotcha." said Rainbow, finishing her food, but Twilight noticed something was up with Rainbow.

"Something on your mind, Dashie?" asked Twilight, curious about what was going through her girlfriend's head.

"Well, are you still mad about yesterday?" asked Rainbow, feeling bad about what happened.

Twilight was a bit surprised by her question but quickly remembered that she didn't get the chance to tell Rainbow that she's not mad at her anymore. She was going to answer her, but Rainbow spoke with fear in her tone.

"I'll do anything! Please, I'm sorry, Twilight! I'll clean the ship. I'll wash the clothes. I'll do the dishes. Anything!"

"Okay, okay, Rainbow, you don't have to go overboard." replied Twilight, chuckling and holding her hand.

Rainbow took a deep breath, calming herself, but held Twilight's hand hard. "It's not overboard! I hurt you with that shovel! Let me make it up to you!"

Twilight giggled, not letting Rainbow know that she's enjoying this. "Fine, but I'll think of something later; right now we should focus on the power core. I don't want to lose our jobs."

"I'll make sure you don't regret this!" replied Dash, standing up and pumping her fist in the air.

Twilight sighs loudly, "I'm sure you will, Rainbow. I'm sure you will." Twilight got up and slapped Dash's bare butt, making her scream and blush more. "Even though I enjoy seeing you act like a cute little virgin when I'm naked, we need to suit up."
Rainbow puffs her cheeks and turns away, not saying anything.
Twilight laughed and slapped her butt again, which made Rainbow scream again and run into the bathroom.
Twilight started to put her space suit on, laughing at her girlfriend's cuteness.

The ship landed in the same spot, and both exited the ship, but Twilight noticed something in Dashie's hand. She quickly realized it was the boom box she snuck through the company security screening.
"Rainbow, did you really bring the radio with you!?" asked Twilight, not believing her.

Rainbow gave her a big smile and said, "I did. I want to give those bugs some good tunes," joked Dash, giving Twilight a thumbs up and blasting the music.

"Really, Rainbow?" replied Twilight, rolling her eyes.

"Joking! If we're going to look through trash, at least have some music to listen while we search." Dash could see her girlfriend wasn't happy. "Come on, Twi. It's just a radio. What could possibly go wrong?"

Twilight just shook her head and started walking away. As she walked, she could hear the music blasting behind her. Getting louder and louder until Dash was at her side and snapping her fingers. It wasn't long before they returned to the building.

"What could go wrong?" whispered Twilight as she entered the building. "Making that ton of noise might bring trouble. You should have left the boom box on the ship, Rainbow."

"Ah, don't worry, honey. If anything shows up, I'll smash their heads in with my shovel," reassured Dash, holding her shovel like a sword and swinging it around...until another Snare Flea dropped on to her head and repeated the same events from yesterday, but this time Twilight held Dash down and shouted at her to smack the flea off rather than running away.

When the flea was off and quickly mush up by the shovel, Twilight noticed foot prints on the floor. She crouch down and touch the dirt foot prints, seeing that they were fresh. She quickly took out her data pad, scanning the outside and noticing another company ship had landed here.

"It looks like another unit is here with us! Oh boy! I can't wait to have that water cooler talk, like I wanted! Maybe they know the place well, unlike us, who are just stumbling around. Wonder if I can invite them to the ship?" thought Twilight, putting the data pad away and turning to Dash, who was blasting her music and stomping the already dead flea, making Twilight sigh and shake her head.

They both continued their walk to the nest. The bugs were gone, leaving the nest open for them. Both girls slowly entered the room, but they noticed something was up. All the loot was gone.

"The fuck!?" cursed Rainbow as she walked into the room. She turned off the boom box and put it on the floor. "The junk is gone. This is where the nest is, right?"

"Yup, this is the right room," said Twilight, walking in as well, but she saw the footprints again. "It looks like the other unit got to it first."

"You mean the stuff we were supposed to take?!?!" Rainbow screamed, not believing the fact that the other team took the stuff. "Are you telling me we lost our easy big score!? NOOOOO!" Rainbow dropped to her knees and started to cry.

Twilight patted her head and said, "There, there. We can still recover the power core since the lights are still on. That means it's still active."

Rainbow stopped her crying and turned to her girlfriend and said, "That's true. Okay, let's check the basement area!"

Both girls got back up, but Twilight noticed something in the corner and looked red. Before she could check, she heard the boom box blasting to the max, making her yell at her girlfriend.

"DASH! Turn it off! It's too loud!" yelled Twilight.

Twilight quickly noticed that Dash wasn't holding the boom box as she answered, "What? I left it over there, rem-hey!"
Rainbow and Twilight looked and saw the hoarder bugs holding the boom box and messing around with it. Dash tried to get it back, but they dashed off, and she chased them as they kept playing the music and teasing Rainbow.
"GET BACK HERE, YOU STUPID BUG THINGS! THAT'S MINE, DAMN IT!" yelled Dash, chasing the bugs, which kept running around and laughing as Rainbow couldn't keep up.

Twilight quickly took out her data pad, seeing the information on the hoarding bugs again.

"They will attack you if you get too close for too long," said Twilight, reading the line again and then swiping the page.
"Hoarding bugs are highly intelligent and can understand what you say. They are friendly to anyone and will help you in any way they can, as long as you exchange something in return. Don't forget to say please and thank you, as well." quote Twilight, reading the end of the Hoarding Bugs page, making her chuckle.
"I can see the person who wrote this must love these bugs to no end, but this might explain why they didn't attack us. Dash did leave behind a shovel and I drop my data pad. Maybe they thought that was a trade for letting us go?" wondered Twilight, as she was still looking at the data pad but quickly heard the music fading away and noticed Dash and the bugs were gone. "Damn it, not again!" cursed Twilight, putting the data pad away and starting to run off to search for her girlfriend.

Rainbow ran and ran, trying to get the boom box back, but the bugs kept dashing around her and teasing her.

"I'm going to kill all of you, damn bugs! GIVE ME BACK MY BOOM BOX!" screamed Dash as she ran. She could feel her lungs starting to burn, but she kept going. She knew she could outrun the bugs, so she decided to take a short cut, running into a narrow hallway.
Rainbow turned a corner and ran straight, ignoring the snare fleas that tried to grab her, and found herself in a stairway going down.
"Damn, turn a wrong turn. Wait, I don't have a map of this place!" Dash face palm as she remembers Twilight telling her about that, "Stupid! You got yourself lost!"

The hoarding bugs quickly caught up with her and were holding her boom box, laughing and teasing her.

"Oh, shut up, you damn bugs!" Dash turned around and was going to walk back the way she came from, but she heard a big, dripping noise and turned around. She could see blue slime dripping from the ceiling and forming into a puddle at the bottom of the stairs. "Oh fuck, what the hell is that!?"
Rainbow could see the puddle getting bigger and bigger, making her nervous. She could feel the bugs pulling at her sleeve, wanting her to follow them. Dash looked and noticed they were scared too.
"Alright, I guess. I have no choice but to trust you, Hoarder Bugs..." Dash cringe at the name "Fuck that lazy name. Loot bugs sound better." said Rainbow, taking one last look at the growing blue slime and following the bugs.

Twilight was looking around the building, calling out for her girlfriend but getting no answer. She was really starting to worry but also getting mad. She knew Rainbow wasn't the smartest person in the world, but even this is stupid.

"Rainbow, please come out! It's not funny anymore! Dash!" shouted Twilight as she was getting deeper into the building, and the madder she was getting, She kept looking but noticed spider webs down another hallway, which had no lights and was pure darkness. Twilight stepped closer and looked at them. They were pretty big. "Hmm...never seen webs this big before. Maybe the Bestiary has info on this?" Twilight was about to check when she heard loud music and quickly ran off, as it was close by. Unknown to her, within the darkness of the hallway, a muffled scream could be heard before going silent.

Dash and the Loot bugs were running for their lives as the blue slime was following them. Suddenly, Snare Flea tried to grab Dash's head again, but she caught it in time and tossed it into the slime. Her eyes went wide, and as the flea was melted into a gory mess, the slime quickly dissolved the poor thing.

"Shit! What the hell is that stuff?!?!?!" panicked Rainbow as she and the Loot Bugs ran into a big open room, where there was nothing but boxes everywhere and the only way out was the way they came in.

The blue slime was pouring into the room and slowly spreading around. The loot bugs quickly ran away from the growing blue slime and up the crates. Rainbow could feel the slime burning her boots, and the heat was increasing, making her run faster and climb up the boxes.

The boom box that the bugs had, dropped it, and it turned off when it hitting the crate. Dash and the bugs could see the slime becoming slow. The loot bugs quickly used their legs to make the radio turn on again and blasting music again. The blue slime quickly moved again, and Dash jumped near them and turned the boom box off, seeing the slime going slow again.

"I see...the slime is reaction to the music." Dash thought, turning the boom box back on and the slime moving fast again.
Rainbow could see the slime wasn't getting any bigger and was slowly crawling up the boxes as she shut the music off. She turned to the bugs and asked, "Is there a way out of this room?" which they just shrug, making her groan with frustration. "Fuck!"

Suddenly, Twilight entered the room and could see what was going on.

"Twilight!" cried Rainbow, as the slime was slowly making its way up the boxes.

Twilight looked at the slime, quickly took out her data pad, and searched up the slime creature. She found it and read it out loud. "A eukaryotic organism classified within the paraphyletic group Prostita. With the incredible speed of reproduction, these small organisms can multiply to millions. Hygrodere rarely split apart, instead choosing to form large, viscous masses that can take up large amounts of space and become a danger to deal with, requiring large tools or lures to relocate. Hygrodere are drawn to heat and oxygen and can detect them seemingly anywhere. There's almost nothing organic they can't convert to their own body mass. Nothing has been found to poison them. Constantly replacing themselves, they can persist for hundreds of thousands of years." Twilight swiped the screen and read the author's notes: "If you ever find yourself cornered, find a tall object to stand on top of; Hygroderes have trouble climbing." When Twilight said that, she could see the slime struggling to climb up the boxes, causing the loot bugs to slap their butts at it, while Dash joined in. Twilight sighs at the stupid sight.

"SUCK IT, YOU BLUE SLIME BITCH! CAN'T REACH US!" teased Dash, giving the middle finger at it, which the Loot Bugs copied.

Twilight shook her head, as her girlfriend was being childish again. She check the next page of the author notes, since Dash and the bugs were safe right now. "Let's see here. It says the slime loves...wait, really?" said Twilight, not believing what she read.

"They love what? Music!?" replied Rainbow, surprised by the fact that the slime loves music but it made sense after seeing it first hand.

Twilight nodded, surprised Dash knew this information. "Yup, they love music and will dance to it, but they will chase the source of the music at high speeds. When on top of the source of the music, they become, as the author puts it, 'Boogie down.'...really?"

Rainbow had a smirk on her face and took her boom box. She turned it to its highest volume and tossed it into the slime, seeing it make a move.

"I see. It's not the music that it likes, but the sound. Good job, Dash," replied Twilight as she and Rainbow watched the slime have a fun time dancing to the music and ignoring the loot bugs, as they flew over it and landed next to Twilight. Dash hops down from the crates but slips, landing within the slime and screaming out in fear as she remembers how the flea died.

Twilight was going to save her girlfriend, but the Loot Bugs stopped her, making her ask, "What's wrong?"

One of the loot bugs made a yippe noise, like it was trying to tell her something, but Twilight just didn't understand and turned back to Dash but quickly went red in the face as she noticed Dash was still screaming, but not because she was in pain but because...

"THIS DAMN PERV SLIME IS EATING MY SUIT! What the fuck!?!?!?!" screamed Rainbow as she tried to get out of the slime, but her feet were stuck and her hands were being covered by the slime, which was eating her suit and slowly revealing her naked body and wasn't melting. "TWILIGHT! HELP ME! GET ME OUT OF THIS SLIME, BUT DON'T LOOK!!!"

"Um...um..." Twilight stutters as she is enjoying seeing her girlfriend's body and how she was trapped in the slime, but her logical side is telling her to save her, but her horny side is telling her to enjoy the show.

The loot bugs could tell the purple one was conflicted, so they pushed her closer to the slime. Twilight could see Dash was struggling, and her suit was almost gone. Dash was able to free her right arm and was waving her girlfriend to help her, so Twilight decided to grab her arm, but Dash couldn't hold on and fell back in, which made her hit the dial on the boom box, changing the channel to a station that played seductive music.

"Oh, that's my favorite radio station..." whispered Twilight, as her logical side was completely gone and her horny side had control now.

Rainbow was trying to get her head above the slime as it started to change its dance; it started to grope her body and play with her tits.

"Ah...ah...AHHHHH!!!" screamed Rainbow. "TWILIGHT!? WHY ARE YOU WATCHING!?"

Twilight couldn't take it anymore. As her girlfriend was moaning and her horny side was controlling her, she turned to the loot bugs and pushed them out of the room, shut the door, and locked it. The three bugs looked at each other in confusion and shrugged at each other. It wasn't long until they heard the loud blue one yelling again, "Why are you getting naked!?!?!"
The loot bugs could hear the two females moaning loudly and started making noise as well, while the music was still blasting loudly.

"YIPPEEEEEE!" shouted the loot bug, wanting to join in the fun in yelling too.

It was hours later, until the door finally opened and the loot bugs could see a blushing pink slime running out with the boom box, while Twilight walked out with a black eye.

"I said I was sorry! Why did you punch me?!" asked Twilight as she waited for Dash to come out of the room.

"Cause that was embarrassing!" pouted Rainbow as she walked out of the room, completely naked. "YOU FUCKING PERV! You were enjoying seeing me like that!?"

"Of course I was. You have a very beautiful body, honey," said Twilight, and Rainbow could feel her face getting warm and quickly cover her face.

"You're lucky I love you," whispered Rainbow as she ran past her girlfriend and turned back to her. "Fuck this day! I need a fucking shower! Where's the exit!?"

Twilight pointed her finger to the hallway they came from and saw the loot bugs looking at them and giving thumbs up at the girls, while the pink slime hid behind the door in another hallway, blushing. Twilight sighed and spoke to herself as she left with Rainbow. "Another day wasted..." but she looked at her girlfriend slime cover ass and her horny side took over her again and had an evil smirk. "Well, wasn't a total lost. I think we had something awakened in both of us after this little event. I wonder if the company will allow us to keep a slime as a pet while working?"

It was a long walk back to the ship, but the girls made it back safe and sound. Their ship took off as night started to fall, and the other unit ship started to do a scan, shut its doors, and took off as it signaled back to the company a message.
"No survivors" was the message the ship sent out.
