My Little Lethal Company

The ship landed, and the girls stepped out and looked around, as today there was no sand storm and they could see the area better. Twilight took out her data pad and saw that she had retrieved an email from the company. She opened it by tapping the screen and became very happy when she was done reading it, which Dash noticed and asked, "What's got you so happy?"

"Oh, just good news from the company. They approved of catching the slime! It seems the Bestiary author wants to see the slime in person, as she never saw a pink Hygrodere before. It might be a rare variant of the slime." said Twilight, putting the data pad away and walking.

"Cool..." said Dash, narrowing her eyes at Twilight. "As long as you keep it away from me! You perv!"

Twilight laughed and grabbed Rainbow's hand as they walked. "Oh, please. You enjoy what happened yesterday."

Rainbow couldn't help but blush. "I didn't enjoy it! That was fucking embarrassing!"

"Yeah, yeah, even though you were smiling as we did it on the slime. I swear, you must have a damsel in distress fetish or something, as you keep getting yourself into trouble with the wildlife." replied Twilight, teasing her girlfriend as they kept walking.

"I'm going to punch you!" growled Dash as they walked, but they suddenly saw another company ship in the distance, and it looked like it had already landed. "Guessing the unit from yesterday is back."

"Well, I hope they did a better job than we did." replied Twilight as she looked at the ship and continued on to the building.

They entered the building and were quickly greeted by the three loot bugs, as they were very happy to see them again and waved at the girls. Dash waved back, still kind of creeped out by the bugs.

"It looks like they trust us; I wonder why?" said Twilight as she watched the bugs flee away and disappear from view. "I think the author would like to know about this. It seems they might have imprinted on us. Let's follow them."

"Okay..." said Dash, walking close to Twilight as they followed the bugs.

The building was different than yesterday. It seems a lot of things have changed, as the layout of the place was a maze and the girls didn't have a map, so they decided to stick together and follow the Loot Bugs.

"I wish we had a map." sighed Twilight, looking around the dark place.

"Yeah, where did the damn bugs go?" wondered Dash, as they couldn't see them anymore.

Suddenly, they could hear the loot bugs making noises, like they were crying or something. Twilight and Rainbow looked at each other and quickly ran towards the noise, surprised to see what was going on. All three were caught in a web, but what really surprised the two was a company worker like themselves, but wearing an orange suit, trapped in the web and crying out.

"HONEY! HELP ME!" cried the woman as her helmet came off, revealing her red skin and blue, boyish-cut hair. Twilight and Dash were confused, not because she was trapped there, but because...

"Why is she blushing and drooling?" asked Dash, turning to her girlfriend, as the Loot Bugs were trying their hardest to break free from the web.

Twilight shrugged, as she didn't have a clue. She went up to the lady and was going to help her, but she noticed them, screaming in fear, "DON'T TOUCH THE WEBS!"

Twilight steps back and turns to her girlfriend and the bugs, then back to the woman. "Why not? What's the harm in touching the web?"

"Because the spider will come!" cried the lady, still crying, blushing, but also drooling.

"Spider?" said Dash, looking around the area. She could see spider webs all over the place but couldn't find the spider. She puff her chest out, at the girl and said, "Don't worry, we're not afraid of spiders." Dash pushed Twilight away, started to pull the webs off of the woman, and started to flirt with her. "So, you single? Want to go on a date with a badass like me?"

The woman was getting mad at Dash for flirting with her, as she was still blushing and drooling, "Fuck off! I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!"

"Really? How did you get trapped then?" teased Dash as she kept pulling the web.

"I was lost and got caught in the web!" replied the woman, as her right arm was free and she was slapping Rainbow, who just laughed.

Twilight just stared in anger, as she could see her girlfriend was enjoying herself.

"Hey, I can't blame you for getting a touch. I would want to date a beautiful girl like me too." flirted Rainbow, as she was still trying to get the woman free.

"You are so full of yourself, you know that? Who the hell are you and your friend anyway!?" cried the woman as she slapped Dash again, and her foot was free now.

"Oh, I'm Rainbow Dash, and this is...oh..." Dash slowly looked around and could see Twilight giving her the coldest stare ever and quickly turned back to the woman. "Uh, my girlfriend, Twilight Sparkle. We work for the company as well."

The woman blinks and turns to Twilight and back to Dash in anger. "Wow! Flirting with me when you have a girlfriend? How could you!?!"

"I wasn't flirting! I was just...well, kinda... okay. I was totally flirting with you. My girlfriend doesn't care, right? Twi?" replies Rainbow, trying to get out of this mess and hoping Twilight would forgive her.

Twilight just stared in anger.

"See, she doesn't mind." lied Dash, hoping the girl would believe her. She was almost finished freeing the girl, but the group could hear a loud noise coming from the pure dark hallway, and soon they could see a very huge spider glaring at them. Dash froze in fear, not realizing the spider was this big.

The woman, blushing and drooling harder, spoke, "That's the reason why I didn't want you to touch the web! The spider will come and attack you!"

Rainbow's heart drops. She was about to run away, but the spider leapt into the air, did a 360-degree no scope web shots, and blasted Dash in the face, making her helmet fall off and the next shot made her fall to the ground on her rear.

"Gross, it's all white and stinky! Why does a spider do that?!" cried Dash as she tried her best to remove the web from her face and asked for Twilight's help. Twilight didn't help and just stared at her, blushing as, in her mind, her horny side kicked out her logical side to the curb again and was imaging dirty things.

"Yeah, no, you must have a fetish thing, Dashie," smirked Twilight, as her horny side was in control right now.
Before Dash could say anything, the spider leapt on her, cocooned her up, and started to teabag her, which made Dash pissed off.

"I will kill this stupid fucking spider, I swear!" cried Rainbow, trying to get out of the cocoon, as the spider tossed her next to the woman and turned to Twilight. Both stared each other down. Twilight glared into the spider's two black eyes, and it glared back. Both stood there until the spider walked away. Dash saw all this and screamed out in anger, not believing what she was seeing.

Twilight sighed as her logical side came back and explained herself, "It was a territorial dispute, Rainbow. Spiders don't like other huge animals in their territory, especially one that is female. It must be a female spider."

Rainbow was very confused, not understanding a word her girlfriend said, "What?"

Twilight rolled her eyes and spoke slowly. "The spider was marking its territory, and we invaded her hunting grounds. It knows better to fight something big. So webbing you up was just a warning, I think." Twilight took out a knife, very slowly started to cut the web, and started to listen to the woman as she spoke to Dash, who was still pissed off.

"Fetish? Oh my god, are you like me!?" cried the woman, to which Rainbow gave her a very confused look.

"What do you mean?" asked Rainbow, not liking where this was going.

"Well, I have a fetish for getting caught in weird and awkward situations. I don't know why, but when I'm in those kinds of situations, I become so horny!" replied the woman, blushing hard.

"Oh fuck..." groaned Dash, knowing where this was going, and quickly looked at Twilight, who stopped cutting the webs and looking at the girl.

Twilight gave her a foul look and said, "You disgust me!" Soon, an evil smirk appeared on her face, causing Dash to groan louder, "Go on!"

Dash was going to kill her girlfriend.

"Well, let's just say...it wasn't an accident how I got into this situation. I wanted to get caught, and I was waiting for my boyfriend to come and rescue me, but I guess he's not done yet, right, honey?" replied the woman as she looked into the other dark hallway and smiled.

Rainbow and Twilight were so confused, until they saw a tall man talking out of the hallway, holding a huge gear, and looking upset. He too was wearing the same standard outfit for the unit.

"Sorry about my girlfriend. I didn't mean to leave her hanging for so long. I was just getting this gear and thought it would be a good time to look for more stuff." replied the man as he walked over and helped Twilight get the girls and bugs free. He removed his helmet, revealing his dark orange skin and light teal buzz-cut hair. "Also sorry about... her kink. God, this is super embarrassing."

The woman was very happy, as she was finally free, and she hugged her boyfriend, blushing and drooling. Her boyfriend was trying to hide his disgust but did his best to smile as he looked at the girls. "I'm Lofty, and this is my girlfriend, Mercy. Thanks for helping her out."

"No problem, dude. My name is Rainbow Dash, and that's my girlfriend, Twilight Sparkle. Sorry if I flirted with her but couldn't help it, you know?" Dash replied, winking at the couple, and Twilight hit her head and glared at her.
Lofty didn't look amused, as he gave Dash a nasty glare and said, "Yeah, well. Please keep your hands off my girlfriend, or else I'll have to beat the shit out of you."

Dash wasn't surprised by this reaction. "Oooooh, so scary. You're lucky I'm a nice person; otherwise, you'll be a dead person." replied Dash, which Twilight facepalmed herself and sighed, not believing how childish her girlfriend was being.

Twilight pulled Dash into her arms, making her blush. Twilight glared at Lofty and said, "If you touch her, I'll beat the shit out of you and feed your remains to the wildlife. Understand?"

Lofty stared back, not saying anything. They kept staring until he said, "You too, huh?"

Twilight nodded. "Yes, I'm possessive and jealous, unlike Rainbow here, who is a player."

Lofty shook his head and corrected himself, "No, I mean, the kink stuff. My girl has a thing for getting caught, and...well, yeah, sorry about her."

Mercy, the girlfriend, spoke up while blushing and drooling, "Hey, don't worry, honey. It's a very rare thing to have this kink. Don't be so embarrassed."

Lofty smiled and was glad Mercy was so loving to him.

Twilight understood him and laughed, "Yeah, don't worry about it. Let's just say I have a thing for Rainbow getting into trouble and her getting out of trouble, and, well, yeah, that's embarrassing. Don't worry, you're not the only one."

Lofty nodded and was relieved. He held Mercy's hand and started to walk away.

"Well, thanks for saving me, and please don't tell the company about this. They'll fire us if they know about my kink. Also, nice to meet you both. Bye." Mercy said as she waved and walked off with her boyfriend, but Twilight stopped them.

"Wait, maybe we can do a team for today? Plus, I want to do a water cooler talk!" said Twilight, smiling.

Lofty and Mercy looked at each other, and both had a smile and nodded. "Sure, let's do it."

They started to walk around, talking and laughing, as the group of four entered the next room, which was very different than yesterday and the day before.

"Oh my god! You two did it on a Hygrodere!? I wanted to get caught by one, but honey said no. Something about melting you alive or something." cried Mercy, as the couple was shocked to learn what happened yesterday, and Dash was dying inside as Twilight was telling them a story about the slime, causing her to blush a lot. "You're so brave, Rainbow. I wish I had the courage to do that. You're amazing," cried Mercy, as she was really amazed at Rainbow for getting caught by the slime.

"Thanks..." said Rainbow, as she was dying of embarrassment, and she turned to her girlfriend. "Twilight, I'll fucking kill you, I swear!"

Twilight didn't respond and just smiled, "Oh, look! The hallway splits into two. Which way?"

"Well, I'm going right." said Lofty as he and his girlfriend started to walk to the right, but Twilight stopped them and spoke, "You know, the left is always the safe route."

"Nope, never go left." said Lofty, shaking his head, and Mercy agreed.

"But that's the rule. Always go left, unless you're going right." said Twilight, giving a stern look.

Dash sighed and said, "Let's just split up. I'll head to the left, and-" before she could finish, she saw the pink slime in the left path and was still dancing to her boom box. Everyone noticed, and Mercy's eyes lit up and she started to drool, while Lofty groaned in disgust.

"I'm going right!" cried Lofty as he blushed hard, not wanting to deal with his girlfriend's weird kink any longer, but he stopped and saw the loot bugs from before and the three holding very rare scrap items. The group looked at each other and nodded. Twilight and Lofty headed to the right, while their girlfriends headed left.

"Get caught, okay?" smirked Twilight as she waved goodbye to Dash.

Dash blushes hard. "YOU MEAN 'DON'T', RIGHT!?" cried Dash, not liking her girlfriend's choice of words.

Dash and Mercy headed to the left path and hurried over to the pink slime, but it noticed Rainbow and her new drooling friend and ran off, blushing harder as it remembered what happened yesterday.

"Aw, where did it go?" cried Mercy, disappointed, and it ran off.

"Sorry about that. It still remembers what happened yesterday...that makes two of us..." said Rainbow, feeling bad.

Mercy sighs and turns to her. "How can you be so lucky and live this dream? I want to experience having sex while inside a slime."

Dash blush and sighed. "You're crazy."

"Maybe, but I want to feel the sensation of my lover fucking me while the gooey feel of the slime entering your body and on your skin!" pouted Mercy, crossing her arms.

Dash rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever! Let's go! If we catch it, the company is going to give us a bonus for it! We'll share it with you guys for helping us! So, let's get moving!" Dash cried as she started to run, and Mercy followed.

Meanwhile, Twilight and Lofty were following the loot bugs. They were going deep into the building. Deeper than ever. Lofty and Twilight were surprised by how far these bugs went and even more surprised by the amount of junk these bugs are dragging behind them.

"Wow, I can't believe the bugs found so much." said Lofty, amazed by the stuff.

"Yeah, and the company will be happy to have this amount." replied Twilight, as the two continued to follow the bugs.
Lofty didn't understand how the bugs knew so much and started to ask questions like, "Are the bugs intelligent or something? Like, how did they know where the scrap is?"

Twilight turned to him. "The bestiary author did say they're pretty smart."

"I don't know. They kind of look stupid. They're like dumb ants, doing the same thing every day."

"They're not the only things doing the same thing."

"What do you mean?"

"My girlfriend does the same thing. Getting into trouble and having to get her out of trouble."

Lofty laughed, "I feel you there. My girl has the same issue, just more extreme."

Twilight laughed, as she could understand, as the two continued to follow the bugs.

Meanwhile, the girls were trying to catch the pink slime, but it was quick. Even Rainbow's speed wasn't enough, as the slime would jump over her and the girls would trip and fall, trying to grab it.

"It's so fast, Rainbow. You think it's getting smarter?" cried Mercy, as the girls would try again and fail.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm getting slower? That can't be it." replied Rainbow, as she tried her hardest to get it, but the slime would slip away.

Mercy pouted, "Let's try again."

Rainbow didn't want to, but she didn't want to hear her girlfriend's mouth when she learned she failed, so she had no choice and tried her hardest. She ran up and tried to grab it as it leapt away, and Rainbow went for the kill, only for the slime to bounce off the wall and leap on her. Mercy quickly grabbed it, and the two girls were covered in the slime.

"Finally!" cried Mercy, as the slime was squirming and trying to break free.

"Nice job, Mercy!" replied Dash, as she was impressed and got up, only to notice Mercy was rubbing the slime all over herself and her suit started to melt. "Wait, Mercy, what are you do-"

Before she could finish, the slime broke free and jumped on Dash as it was trying to escape.

"Hey! That was rude!" cried Mercy, as she was upset.

Dash was going to scold her, but the pink slime was rubbing itself all over her, and the suit was starting to melt. "Uh, Mercy, my suit is melting. We gotta get it off us."

"I know, isn't it great!?" said Mercy as she pulled Dash in, causing the pink slime to squirm, and the two girls were soon covered and on top of it.

"Mercy, I'm serious. My suit is melting! We gotta-"

"Sssshhhh, quiet. Let it happen!" replied Mercy as she pulled Dash closer and the two sat naked in the slime while the boom box was still playing the same station from yesterday. Mercy drooled as she called out her boyfriend. "Honey, I'm in trouble! Come help me!"

Rainbow had a mile-long stare, realizing what was happening and trying to process the information as her mind was breaking.

"Honey, I'm in trouble!" cried Mercy, but her boyfriend wasn't coming, as he and Twilight were still following the bugs.

"Lofty, can't you go any faster? We're losing the loot bugs! I don't want them to get away!" cried Twilight, as the bugs were starting to get further and further away.

"I'm sorry, I can't. This gear is so heavy, but it's worth a lot! I don't want other loot bugs to grab it! The company is going to be very happy about this with gear!" replied Lofty, as he was sweating.

"We can't lose them. The company will be disappointed if we come back with nothing but a big gear." replied Twilight, as she was very determined to get that stash of loot.

"Twilight, I can't go any faster. You're going to have to help." replies Lofty as he stops and drops the large gear on the floor, taking a rest.

Twilight was not happy, and she was not going to accept failure. She grabbed the gear and tried to lift it, but was shocked at how heavy it was.

"Oh my god, it's heavy! What is this made of?" cried Twilight as she struggled to lift the gear.

"It's pure steel; that's why. I found it near a broken machine. The metal is really dense." replied Lofty as he picked up the gear and continued forward.

Twilight was surprised at how strong he was and smiled. She was glad she met some new friends. As they hurried along, Twilight heard a weird beeping noise ahead of them.

"What's that noise? It's driving me nuts!" cried Twilight as the noises got louder and louder.

Lofty heard the noise and said, "Sounds like a low-battery fire detector."

Twilight looks at the walls, not seeing one. She felt it wasn't a fire detector. As they turned the corner and entered a crosswalk bridge, Twilight noticed a flash on the floor ahead of them, but Lofty didn't notice it as he turned to her and spoke, "I think we lost..."

Twilight realized what the flashing was, as the company warned them about the colonists leaving behind traps. She tried to warn Lofty, but it was too late. All she remembers is a bright flash and being tossed back by the blast. The world was spinning, and everything was so loud. Twilight tried to get up, but her body was in so much pain that she could barely move. As her vision returned, she was shocked by the sight. The gear was gone, and so was Lofty. There was blood everywhere, and there was a large hole in the bridge.

Twilight couldn't believe it. She couldn't speak or move. Her brain was struggling to understand what happened, and she finally did something. She screamed out in horror.

Meanwhile, Mercy was enjoying the slime as it was rubbing all over her as she was waiting for her dear boyfriend, while Dash was trying to get out and not wanting Twilight to find her like this and have the repeat from yesterday.

"Come on, Mercy! I need to get out!" cried Dash as she struggled in the pink slime while the boom box was playing music and the slime was dancing lovingly, which made Mercy blush.

"Don't be such a baby, Rainbow. It's not like the slime is going to kill you. Relax and enjoy it!" replied Mercy, as she was very comfortable.

Dash sighed and kept trying, which annoyed Mercy, and she spoke up, "What's wrong? You don't want Twilight to find you like this? Why? Are you afraid she'll enjoy seeing you like this? Huh?"

Rainbow was silent as the words hit home, and she was struggling even more.

"Rainbow, relax, and chill out. Do you hate seeing Twilight as the dominant one or something?"

Rainbow stopped and answered her, "It's not that! I love her and care for her, but I just don't."

"Don't what? You being weak in front of her? Or maybe you don't like being the submissive one?"

Dash was silent and didn't say anything, which made Mercy smile.

"You know, I was the same way. When I met Lofty during my second year working for the company, I was scared of being weak in front of him, as I got caught in weird stuff. It was embarrassing. I was scared he would see me differently. But he never did. He loves me no matter what, and I love him for that. He accepts my kink, and we even role play, pretending to be strangers and getting caught."

Rainbow blushed hard and didn't say anything, as she wasn't sure what to say and wasn't used to hearing others talk about their relationship, especially when they're naked together.

"But the truth is, being the submissive one isn't that bad. It's a rare opportunity. Being weak and vulnerable. Not having to worry about the next adventure. You can enjoy life more. You can be more relaxed and open up. And most of all, you can be the you that no one sees; only the one who loves you, will see."

Rainbow was speechless.

"If you're afraid of being the submissive one, why not embrace it? If Twilight loves you, then there's nothing to be afraid of. So, relax and enjoy yourself."

Rainbow didn't reply. She was processing the information and thinking. The slime was dancing as Mercy was enjoying the show and the song, and Rainbow was relaxing, letting the slime do what it wanted while the boom box was still playing music.

"I'm glad I was able to talk to you, Rainbow. We're pretty alike, you know."

"How so?"

"We found wonderful people who love us, no matter what."

Rainbow nodded, agreeing.

The pink slime was dancing and bouncing, enjoying the music, while the girls finally got along.

Twilight took her helmet off and threw it down in rage. She was angry and hurt. She was trying her hardest not to cry and failing.

"Fuck! Fuck!" cried Twilight, as she couldn't believe she had failed the company. Letting a coworker be killed like that. She felt so much anger and sorrow as she tried not to scream out.
She took her gloves off and dropped them on the ground as she walked towards the large hole. She didn't know if Lofty survived or not, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to find out. She could barely see the bottom and saw the gear and blood, as she could barely make out a body part, as the bridge was shaking and was going to fall apart.
Twilight couldn't stop crying as she tried to keep her composer but was failing. The sight of a dead person was horrible, and it reminded her of when she lost her old friend. The feeling of helplessness. It was so much for her.
She wanted to scream but was struggling not to, as her mind was breaking and her body was shivering. She felt so useless and pathetic.

She couldn't stand looking anymore and turned away, as the tears were pouring out, and she fell on the floor, crying her heart out, as she was a total mess. Then it hit her, and she had to tell Mercy. She had to tell her the bad news, and the thought of it made her sick. She had no choice, as the company was counting on her. She couldn't let them down. Not after all they've done for her.

Twilight got up and put her gloves back on. She was still a mess, but she had no time to fix herself. She had a job to do, and that was finding Mercy and Rainbow. Lucky for her, she could hear faint music and ran off, not noticing the doorway near the crosswalk was glowing a red dot and fading away.

It wasn't long before Twilight found Dash and Mercy and didn't react to them being naked in the slime. She looked over to Mercy, trying to find the words, as her voice was shaking.

"M-Mercy, I'm...I'm..." cried Twilight, as she was having a hard time finding the right words, while her girlfriend was wondering what was wrong and stood up and asked her, "Twilight, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Twilight was still trying to find the words, while Rainbow was looking at her and noticed the burn marks on her suit and started to freak out.

"M-Mercy, I lost him. He's dead."

Mercy didn't understand and asked her, "Who's dead? Who are you talking about?"

Twilight's shut her eyes and repeated herself, "M-Mercy, I lost him. He's dead."

"Who are you talking about!?" asked Mercy, starting to freak out.

Twilight opened her eyes, looked at her, and said, "Lofty. He's dead."

Mercy couldn't understand what was happening and started to laugh. "Good joke, Twilight. You had me fooled there. You look so serious."

"I'm not joking, Mercy! There was a landmine, and he didn't notice it. He's dead, Mercy. He's fucking dead!"

Mercy froze, and her face was pale as her heart was pounding. Her mind was processing the information, and her body was starting to shake as the room felt like it was spinning. She could only say one thing: "L-L-Lofty."

Twilight brought the girls to where he died, and Mercy could see the blood, while Twilight explained how he died and the gear was gone. Mercy didn't understand and kept asking her, "Are you sure he's dead?"

"Yes, I'm sure. He didn't make it. I'm sorry, Mercy." replied Twilight, as she could barely stop crying, while Dash was in shock and didn't say anything, as Mercy was trying to wrap her head around the situation.
"He can't be dead. Y-You're lying. This has to be a trick. It's a joke. Lofty isn't dead. He's not." said Mercy, as her body was shaking while Twilight was crying and Dash was still speechless. "He always comes through. Always. He always comes back to me. So, he'll come back again. Right, Twilight? Right, Rainbow?"
Mercy turned to the girls, expecting an answer, and both didn't say anything, as Twilight was too busy crying and Rainbow was trying to find the right words.
"Right!? He's coming back, isn't he!? I'm not alone, am I!? Please tell me, I'm not!"

Mercy couldn't hold the tears anymore and broke down. Twilight and Dash couldn't do anything for her. They let her cry, but they all heard something from the door that was near them. They could see a red light sweeping across, and Mercy smiled as she said, "Lofty! You came back!"

Mercy was overjoyed, as her dear boyfriend had come back to her. Twilight didn't say anything and was trying to understand what was behind the door and remember what the company warned her about. She screamed out as Mercy opened the door. "STOP! IT'S A TURRET! IT'S GONNA SHOOT YOU! STOOOOP!"

It was too late. As soon as Mercy opened the door, a barrage of bullets was fired, and it hit her dead on. Her body was torn to shreds, and Twilight grabbed Dash and dragged her into the hallway, while Mercy's body was still being ripped to pieces. The girls could hear the turret stopping, and Twilight took the chance to peek out, seeing the gun on the tripod scanning the room and the hallway from left to right very quickly. There was no way to leave the hallway without getting shot. She could see Mercy dead body, as it was oozing ton of blood.

Twilight realized the gun had a blind spot and quickly whispered to Dash, "The gun has a blind spot. Quickly, get ready."
Rainbow couldn't believe this was happening and was shaking like a leaf, but she could feel Twilight shaking with fear as well. Dash suddenly felt something and asked Twilight what the blind spot was.

"It's the red light. We can't get caught by it. It seems its not doing a 360-degree turn. If we can get behind it, we're in the clear."

Dash clutch, Twilight chest "So, that's the plan?"

Twilight nodded and was about to get ready when Dash just took off towards the turret, freaking Twilight out.
"RAINBOW DASH! NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? STOP!" cried Twilight, as her girlfriend was being a hot head, as usual.

Rainbow didn't listen and kept running, not looking back. For once, she was being brave and not letting Twilight risk her life. Rainbow was running full force, and as the turret sensor was about to touch her, she could see Mercy's dead body and couldn't duck. The sensor locked on to her and made a beeping sound. Dash could only do one thing, and that was jump over the turret and land hard on the other side as it fired its bullets. Dash could see the gun was still firing at nothing, until it finally stopped and went back to scanning the room. Rainbow was shaking with fear and relief. She didn't think she would make it.

"Rainbow, are you okay?" called out Twilight, as she was worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine, but this fucker won't be!" Dash kicked the turret over and went offline. She picked it up and walked over to the destroyed crosswalk and threw it into the darkness, where they couldn't see it.

Twilight sighs in relief and says, "Christ..."

Twilight joined Dash and looked over to Mercy's dead body. She could feel herself breaking again. It was the same feeling from her past, when she lost a dear friend. The sorrow.

"Rainbow, I need you to do something for me."

"Anything, Twi." replied Dash, holding her hand.

Twilight slapped Dash on the face. "NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! I almost lost you!" She then held Dash close, telling her to never run off like before. "I can't lose you!"

"I know. I'm sorry. I just didn't want to lose you either." replied Rainbow, holding her dear Twilight.

The two held each other close and soon let go. Twilight picked Mercy up and carried her, not saying anything. Rainbow followed her to the exit and, soon, to the ship that Lofty and Mercy arrived in. The ship scanned Mercy's bloody body and opened the door, which they walked inside.

Inside was like their ship, but it was much different—very different, as Twilight started to cry. They could see Mercy and Lofty made it into a real home, with pictures of them hanging on the walls, a rug on the floor, a rocking chair with a book on it, and their bed had a cute blanket and pillow and their names written on it.

Dash was speechless, as the room had so many pictures of Mercy and Lofty. They could see they were in love. They could see the couple was happy together. While Twilight walked over to the bed and set Mercy's body down on it. She then walked over to the main computer and typed into the system, letting the company know what happened. It wasn't long before she got a reply, and it read, "We are so sorry to hear this report. Leave the body, and the automatic ship will return to the nearest company planet station. As a thank you for recovering the body, we will pay you for your troubles and increase your day off by three days extra. Thank you for being brave, and don't forget, you're a part of our family. Sincerely, the Letha company."

The couple didn't say anything, as they were speechless. Twilight walked back to the bed and looked over Mercy's body, as she could see her eyes were closed, as if she were sleeping. Twilight couldn't stop crying, and Rainbow could see her pain, as she could feel the pain too.

Twilight and Dash stepped out and watched as the ship closed its doors and took off. They returned to their ship and took off as well, as they couldn't finish their day, not after what happened. Twilight was on the bed, in her underwear, thinking, while Dash was taking a shower.

"Why?" asked Twilight, trying to understand why Mercy and Lofty had to die, as she had nothing else to say, as the world felt so empty and lonely without them, even if they just met. It wasn't long before Dash came out of the shower and noticed Twilight staring off into space.

"Hey, are you okay?" asked Rainbow, not sure how to cheer her up.

"I'm fine." simply replied Twilight, not really fine, as she didn't move.

Dash got on the bed and got on top of her, not saying anything. They stared into each other's eyes and didn't say a word. Dash started to kiss her, but Twilight didn't want this, not now.

"No. Not now."

Dash didn't listen and kept kissing her, not caring, as she could see the pain and sorrow in her girlfriend's eyes.

"Rainbow, no. Not now."

"Please, Twi. I just want to show how much I care about you."

"Please. Stop...please."

"No, I won't."

"Rainbow, please..."

"I love you, Twilight."

"No. I don't want this. Not now. GET OFF!" screamed Twilight, pushing Dash off, then holding her down, and crying, "STOP! ...stop..." Twilight could see Dash being all submissive and shy like always, but it was different, as she wasn't smiling or enjoying it. It was painful for her.

"Please, Twilight." begged Rainbow, wanting her girlfriend to have sex with her.

Twilight was confused and asked, "Why?"

Dash started to cry. "Mercy was waiting for him. She was waiting for him to come back to her. To have sex... I'm scared, Twilight. What if you don't come back? I don't know what I'll do without you. I'll be all alone again... I want to feel like it's going to be our last time together. Please. Don't leave me, Twilight. Please." Dash held Twilight's cheeks and smiled as she repeated what Mercy told her: "You can be the you that no one sees; only the one who loves you, will see."
Twilight could see the love in Rainbow's eyes, the sadness, and the fear. She couldn't deny it. She knew she needed it too, as she was afraid of not feeling Rainbow body.

Twilight let Rainbow go and kiss her, as she was still afraid. The couple was crying and holding each other, as the day was horrible and they didn't want to be alone.

They soon stopped, and Twilight told her, "Okay. Okay, I understand." Twilight kissed her again and started to get naked, and the lights of the ship went out, as the stars were shining in the darkness of space, and the couple was being loving and caring to each other, as they could feel their love and their warmth, as they didn't want to leave each other.
