Episode 19: A Breezie Through Bridlewood

The Freedom Fighters were all relaxing at the pool area, well, the ones who weren't in school. Sonic, Tails, MC, Amy, Sally, Truemen, Maria, the Young 6, Sunny and her friends were all relaxing by the pool. The girls were in their swimsuits.

"Is it wise for Silverstream to be swimming in a pool that has chlorine in it?" Sally asked. "It's dangerous to aquatic creatures."

"Yeah, but when these six students moved in, we decided to switch out the chlorine filled pool for salt water," MC said.

"When did that happen?" Sally asked.

"A week after they moved in," Sonic said. "We were lucky MC cleared out the pool before Silverstream could go all Seapony in it."

"We explained to her that the chlorine filled pool might do some serious harm to her," Tails said.

"I still don't see why you all like water so much!" Sonic said.

"Water is a part of this world we live in, along with it being in our bodies," Zipp said. She then looked at MC. "Most of our bodies."

"Hey, I got water in my body, too," MC said. "So what if I can manipulate my own molecules to copy the environment around me?"

"Well, I don't know about you, but I need to find some new ingredients for a new project I need to release," Pipp said. "Sure, America has a lot of great natural plants for remedies, but not as good as Equestria in the future."

"Perhaps... we should take a trip back to the naturals of Equestria," MC said. "Or perhaps, the places you all know, but not of your time."

Izzy gasped and asked, "Are we going to our hometowns in this current time?!"

"Precisely, Izzy," MC said. "I can take you all there myself. Starting with the location where Bridlewood would be. I think we should get Haven and Alphabittle on this as well."

"Seeing our homes before they were found sounds interesting," Zipp said.

MC then saw Smolder on a laptop, searching for something. MC then asked, "What are you up to, Smolder?"

"Meh, my job at McDonald's sucks," Smolder said. "I'm searching for a new job."

"You know, the movie theater needs more employees," Misty said. "Especially during the opening weekends of a new movie release."

"I've already tried applying, but I haven't gotten a response yet," Smolder said.

"I could put in a word to the manager, and he might see you," Misty said.

"Well, we should get going," MC said. "See you guys later." MC, the Young 6 and Sunny and her friends got up and headed to their rooms to change before leaving for Equestria.

The Spirit of Freedom was flying over the land of Equestria towards the area where Maretime Bay, Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood were going to be. Inside, MC was piloting the Spirit of Freedom. The Young 6, Sunny and her friends, Sparky, Alphabittle and Haven were riding in the back.

"I can't believe we're going to see our homes before we knew them back in the future!" Sunny said. "Do Twilight and the others know we're checking it out?"

"I haven't informed them yet," MC responded. "I was thinking of surprising her on the way back home."

"That's nice," Ocellus said. "Oh, I can sense how much you love her. Maybe one day, after your coronation, there might be a proposal for you two. And eventually, a wedding."

"What is it with changelings and weddings?" MC asked. "Chrysalis ordered an invasion during Shining and Cadance's wedding, and I heard rumors of one changeling making an appearance at Cranky Doodle Donkey and Matilda's wedding."

"So that's where Kevin ended up that day," Ocellus said.

The Spirit of Freedom came up across the coast of where construction was going on. MC then flipped a switch and a screen showing where the Spirit of Freedom was pointing at came up above the heads of the Young 6, Sunny and her friends, Sparky, Alphabittle and Haven.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the construction of Maretime Bay," MC said.

"Look, Hitch!" Sunny said. "That's our hometown."

"Or at least during ground break," Hitch said.

"I can't believe we're back over Maretime Bay before it was even built," Zipp said. "What do you think of it, Pipp?" Zipp looked at Pipp, who was live streaming. "Pipp!"

"I know, you're all expecting a new product coming from my new line, Potions by Pipp, soon, but I'm actually stumped on finding the right ingredients," Pipp said, looking at her phone. "Right now, I'm checking out the sights of where the future homes of me, my sis and our friends are. We are currently over the sight of a town currently in construction, which will eventually be named Maretime Bay. Once I find something that will wow you, I will let you know immediately."

Zipp then leaned her head to get into the sight of the camera, saying, "Or, you could go offline for a few days until you find something, and release a commercial for your new product when it's ready."

Pipp gasped and said, "That's a way better idea, Zipp. If you Pippsqueaks don't hear from me, I'll let you know. Pipp Pipp Hooray!" She then ended the live stream.

"I can't believe I actually gave you an idea that's actually good," Zipp said. "Perhaps one day, if you need a little R&R, MC could take you to Delphius for a dip in one of those hot springs."

"That actually sounds relaxing," Pipp said. "Perhaps Rarity, Sonia and I should go there. Maybe I should live stream some of the greatest spots while I'm there."

"Not gonna happen," MC said. "The Oracle is usually a seclusive sorcerer. In fact, you won't be able to get cell phone reception of Wi-Fi there."

Pipp gasped, stuttered and motioned her arms around before asking, "What did you just say to me?!"

"How about we listen to some tunes?" Sunny asked. "Just to loosen the tension? Nicole?" Just then, music came in. It was one of Pipp's songs, "Glow it Up".

"You have one of my songs in your soundtrack?" Pipp asked.

"I thought it might loosen the tension," Nicole's voice came from the speakers.

Then the Spirit of Freedom was flying towards a mountain where construction was going on. The screens inside the ship showed the construction going on.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the construction of Zephyr Heights," MC said.

"Oh, now that is a sight to behold," Haven said. "Home sweet home. Sure we're a couple centuries early, but still... It's marvelous to see it again. Perhaps, one day, we could actually put on a Mane-squerade Ball in this time."

"Haven, if we do that in this time, we would actually be starting that tradition," MC responded.

"Hey, at least you have time to plan it, Haven," Sandbar said, smugly.

"Bad time, Sandbar," Smolder said. Just then, the rest of the Young 6 laughed at what Smolder said.

"Hey, how come she gets a laugh and I don't?" Sandbar asked.

"You need to work on that, Sandbar," MC said. "If you wanna do a Mane-squerade Ball in Equestria, you should talk to Twilight about it, Haven. She's the High Princess of Equestria. Although, I know for a chance that ponies won't know it's you since you weren't born yet."

"What does that mean?" Haven asked.

"Every pegasus in Zephyr Heights knew it was you during those balls," Pipp said.

Haven chuckled like she heard a joke and said, "How could everypony know it was me? I had a mask on."

"And your crown, and you were sitting in your thrown during the ball," MC said. "It was obvious from the start."

"Oh, that's right," Haven said. "I always forget to take off the crown during that ball."

Then the Spirit of Freedom came over a Forest.

"Okay, ladies and gentlemen," MC said. "We've reached Bridlewood."

"Home sweet home," Alphabittle said. He looked at Misty with a smile. Misty looked back at him, giving a small smile as well. Alphabittle then saw the screen and said, "Huh. There doesn't seem to be any construction going on."

"That's because it'll take another 20 years for Bridlewood to start construction," MC responded. Just then, there was beeping coming from the console. "Huh. That's odd."

"What is it?" Sunny asked.

"I'm picking up six ponies in the center of the forest," MC said. "There shouldn't be."

"Should we check it out and report it to Twilight?" Zipp asked, coming up to the front and sitting in the other pilot's seat.

"Might as well," MC said. "Hold on, everyone. We're coming in for a landing." The Spirit of Freedom came over a clear spot above the treeline and descended. MC activated the landing gear and the Spirit of Freedom landed. Then the door to the Spirit of Freedom opened up, and then MC, the Young 6, Sunny and her friends, Sparky, Haven and Alphabittle walked out of the Spirit of Freedom. When they got out, they were surprised to see who was standing there. It was the Mane 6.

"Hi, you all!" Pinkie Pie shouted.

"What are you all doing here?!" MC asked.

"An old friend of ours invited us here for some reason," Twilight said. "He says he has a special treat for us."

"Who would be out here?" Zipp asked. "There's nopony out here for miles and..."

MC then heard something and said, "Quiet. Everyone be quiet." Everyone looked around and stood quiet.

"What is it?" Sunny asked quietly.

"It sounds like... buzzing," MC said. "Like Ocellus's flying, but softer and quieter."

"They're here," Twilight said.

"What is it?" Pipp asked. "Who's here?"

"No," Izzy said. "It... it sounds like..." She then gasped. "No, it couldn't be! I didn't think they were real!"

"You didn't think what was real?!" Zipp said, getting in front of the group, her wings spread out and standing in a defensive position. Just then, a bunch of Breezies came from the trees, surrounding the group.

"Ah! Oh!" Izzy said before laughing. "Breezies!"

The Breezies were flying around the group. All of them were astonished by this. Pipp was having a mental breakdown that she was trying to avoid getting the Breezies on video.

"Be calm, Pipp," Pipp told herself. "You don't have to record or live stream everything." She then giggled nervously.

"Incredible," MC said. He then held out his left forefinger and one of the Breezies landed on it. "I haven't seen creatures like this before in my life."

"I didn't even believe in Breezies before today," Alphabittle said. "How have I not known about this?"

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked.

"Sparkles, we're in Bridlewood," MC said. "Or at least 20 years before construction."

"Oh, that makes sense," Twilight said.

"Welcome, my dear friends," came the voice of a Breezie. They all looked up towards the voice and flying up to them was Seabreeze, leader of the Breezies. "I'm so glad you've all come. Oh. And you've brought more friends."

"They surprised us as well, Seabreeze," Fluttershy said. "So, what is it you wanted to surprise us with?"

"Oh, yes," Seabreeze said. "I think it's time to..." Just then, a bunch of Breezies started talking in their language, interrupting Seabreeze. "Hey, hey, I am getting to that."

"Wow, they seem chatty," Hitch said.

"They've learned to talk in our language," Fluttershy said.

"That was English?" Gallus asked.

"Yeah, it was, but they're speaking too fast for normal speed creatures to catch up," Hitch said.

"I could understand them," MC said. "I have super speed, remember?"

"Oh, yeah," Gallus said. "Well, what did they say?"

"They said..." MC said before clearing his throat. Then he used his vocal manipulation to sound like one of the Breezies. "We haven't seen creatures like you for hundreds of moons. We have a special treat for you." He then cleared his throat and sounded like the other Breezie. "Follow us, new friends. The Night Market awaits!"

"Night Market?" Misty asked. "What's that, Izzy?"

"Another thing in Bridlewood I didn't know about?" Izzy asked. "Oh, I gotta see this." Just then, the Breezies flew towards the biggest tree in the forest.

"The Wishing Tree?" Alphabittle asked. "There's something more special about this?" Misty then gasped. She then remembered something from her foalhood, before being taken from Misty.

Young Misty was carrying a sack, putting some glowpaz crystals. Just then, she saw something coming from the ground.

"Huh?" young Misty asked. She then grabbed it and inspected it. "What's this?"

"Misty!" came Alphabittle's voice. Young Misty looked towards where the voice was coming from, not knowing that what she grabbed was the necklace she had in the present time before breaking it started floating.

"Dad?!" young Misty asked. Just then the necklace floated in front of her. Then the eye of the necklace opened, scaring Misty. She let out a yelp. Just then, the necklace started spinning around Misty, releasing purple fog, blocking her sight of the forest.

"Misty, come back!" came Alphabittle's voice.

"Dad! Help me!" young Misty said. Just then, the fog diminished, showing that she was no longer in Bridlewood, nor in the same timeline as the one she was in.

"Well, well, well," came the voice of Opaline. Young Misty looked behind her, seeing Opaline sitting in her throne. "Looks like my power necklace has picked up a stowaway." Young Misty screamed at Opaline, the flashback ending.

Misty yelped, surprising everyone.

"What is it, Misty?" Alphabittle asked.

"I... I remember how I ended up with Opaline," Misty said. "I was out here... collecting glowpaz crystals. Then I found that necklace I had to keep in contact with Opaline. She pulled me from the future to her castle. I don't know how she did it, but..." She then looked up at Alphabittle. "I... I missed... so much..."

"It's okay, Misty," Alphabittle said. "What matters is that you're back." He then pulled Misty in for a hug. "And I'm never gonna lose you again."

"Oh, Dad..." Misty said, embracing the hug.

"Hey, look!" Rainbow Dash said, pointing at the Wishing Tree. Then, the center of the tree opened up, revealing a large space within the Wishing Tree.

"Holy moly!" Pinkie Pie shouted. "Is that the Night Market!"

"It must be," Twilight said. "Let's check it out!" Then they all headed inside, seeing the Night Market. The group looked all around the Night Market, seeing it was a lot bigger inside the tree then it was outside.

"Whoa! Check out the size of this place!" Sunny said. "It actually looks bigger on the inside than it does on the outside."

"Must be some magical pocket dimension or something," MC said.

"Dimension?" Sunny asked. "You mean like when that other Sonic appeared out of the whole in the sky saying he was from another Universe back when we were in Soleanna?"

"Exactly, Sunny," MC said. "But, pocket dimensions are still connected to the same universe we're all in. Kinda like the Mirror Dimension in Doctor Strange."

"Oh, oh, I've been there!" Pinkie said. "It was really weird. Oooooooh-oooooooh-oooooooh!" She then laughed.

"How?!" Zipp asked.

"It's best if ya don't question it," Applejack said. "Pinkie Pie is one mystery nopony or creature can solve."

"I bet I can solve her," Zipp said.

"Good luck with that," Twilight said. "I've tried doing that, and I kept getting hurt in the process."

"You're kidding," Zipp said.

"Oh, I have," Twilight said. "Ask Spike. He'll back me up."

"Hey, guys, check this out!" Sandbar called out. They all walked over towards where Sandbar was, seeing a carving of three initials on it. The initials were "C + L + O".

"C... L... and O?" Pipp asked. "Who carved those initials?" Then a bunch of Breezies came up to them. One of them started talking very quickly. Pipp looked towards Fluttershy, Hitch and MC and asked, "Can I get a translation?"

"She says that this tree was planted by three Alicorns that came from the land of Skyros," Hitch said.

"Skyros?" Twilight asked. "That's just a myth. Believe me, I've been trying to find proof of it for years."

"Maybe you just haven't been searching in the right books," Misty said. They all looked towards Misty. "Because that's where Opaline's lair is."

"What?!" Twilight asked. She then teleported to Misty, getting up in her face. "Opaline's lair is in Skyros?! Where is it?!"

"I... I don't know where exactly," Misty said. "It always keeps moving location."

"Like the Vanishing Isle from Aladdin and the King of Thieves," Ocellus said. "It was on the back of a giant turtle."

"Really?" Smolder asked. "How big?"

"Las Vegas, Nevada big," Ocellus said.

"Now that's a big turtle," Zipp said. MC wasn't paying attention. He was sensing something.

Applejack noticed it and asked, "What is it, sugarcube?"

"I think I sense a Chaos Emerald," MC said. He then looked around. He then saw something wedge at the top of the space. He then pointed at it with his left fore finger and said, "There!"

"I got it!" Rainbow Dash said. She then started flying up to it. The the grabbed it and pulled it back down. "Here you go."

"And with this... that makes five," MC said. "Two Emeralds left."

"We had no idea what that thing was," Seabreeze said coming up to the group. "It must be really important if you guys want it. What is it?"

"This is a Chaos Emerald," MC said. "It has the ability to turn thoughts into power. In good hands, it can be used for great miracles. But in the wrong hands, devastation and destruction."

"Oh, well that must be why it's called a Chaos Emerald," Seabreeze said.

"This is just one out of seven," MC said. "Although, we might need all seven to stop Opaline if she gets strong enough."

"But she could still take the power of the Chaos Emeralds for herself," Misty said. "Opaline wants all the power in the world for herself."

"Then we'll be careful," Twilight said. "If we can find her weakness, then we can take her down."

"Along with the Destructix, the Nocturnus and Allura," Sunny added.

"That's true, they're also with Opaline," Zipp said. "Maybe there's something here that can help out."

"Wouldn't hurt to look," MC said. "Let's get searching." Then they all started looking around the Night Market for anything that could help them stop Opaline.

The Mane 6, MC, the Young 6, Sunny and her friends, Sparky, Alphabittle and Queen Haven were all spread out across the Night Market, searching for anything that could stop Opaline, but they couldn't find anything.

MC just looked at the engraving that Sandbar pointed at earlier, trying to figure out who those three were. Just then, Twilight walked up to him.

"Still wondering who engraved their initials into this place?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah, I am," MC said. "I feel like I know this."

"Who knows?" Twilight asked. "Maybe you'll find out later."

MC looked at the carving. He then held out his right hand, and then from his communicator came a scanning light, scanning the engraved initials. He then walked away with Twilight.

"This is something Zipp will definitely look into," MC said, making Twilight nod.

Over at another part of the Night Market, Sunny, Zipp and Misty were sitting on a bench, licking some ice cream.

"So many places to look for something that could stop Opaline, and nothing," Zipp said. "This place was a bust."

"At least we've seen a lot more cultures in here than when we were seeing the world," Sunny said. "Like when we all went to Paris."

"Oh, yeah," Zipp said. "After the events of each day, we saw some amazing sights. The Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame, the Louvre."

"I was a little weirded out by that one painting," Misty said. "That one painting with that guy squishing his own face by some guy named Edvard Munch."

"Oh, yeah, the Scream!" Sunny said. "That confused me, too."

"Meh, art is weird in this world," Zipp said. Just then, a Breezie came up to Sunny carrying something.

The Breezie spoke quickly to Sunny. Sunny then said, "I'm sorry. But that's not mine."

"Hang on," Zipp said. "Let's see what he said." Zipp pulled out her phone, opened up an app, and held it out to the Breezie. "Now, repeat what you said earlier." The Breezie then spoke again into the phone. "Okay, now to slow it down, and..."

Then Zipp played the message in slow motion. The Breezie's voice came from the phone, this time it was understandable. It said, "This special locket has been waiting for a special pony. A hopeful pony. I believe you are the one."

"Hey, Future MC said the same thing about you," Zipp said, looking at Sunny. "He saw that you were special when you were a baby when looking through the Earth Pony Crystal the day you were born."

"That's right," Sunny said. "I guess the Breezies sense something in me that I haven't discovered for myself." Sunny was then given the locket that the Breezie held out for her. "Thank you." The Breezie spoke that almost sounds like saying "You're welcome" in another language before flying off.

"No need to translate what that Breezie said," Misty said. Then the three of them shared a laugh.

"We should talk to MC about this," Sunny said. "Let's go find him." Then the three of them headed off somewhere.

Over with Alphabittle and Haven, they were talking to each other about something.

"I'm sure that the new businesses will go splendidly," Haven said. "You opening a new tea shop and me owning a daycare. I'm sure that we'll make it big in this time."

"Hopefully," Alphabittle said. "So, have you found enough people to help you run the place?"

"Almost," Haven said. "I need one more employee to get it official."

Alphabittle then looked around. He then saw the Young 6. He then got an idea. He then said, "I heard that the orange dragon is looking for a new job. Perhaps... you can offer her that position."

Haven looked towards the Young 6, more importantly, Smolder. She then smiled.

"I think I can give her a good paying job," Haven said. She then walked towards the Young 6.

Later, the Mane 6, MC, the Young 6, Sunny and her friends, Alphabittle and Haven walked out of the tree right when it was closing.

Izzy looked towards one of the Breezies and asked, "Pardon me. When does the mystical magical market come back."

The Breezie then spoke in it's quick tone. Hitch then said, "She says, 'You'll never knoooow!'"

"Huh," Izzy said. "That doesn't really narrow it down."

"The Breezies must not understand how the Night Market reopens themselves," Fluttershy said.

"I guess we'll have to wait until the next time it opens," Zipp said. "We haven't found anything useful."

"Yeah," Sunny said. "All we found was this." Sunny was holding up the locket that one of the Breezies gave her.

"That's interesting," MC said, checking out the locket. "What did the Breezie tell you?"

"The Breezie that gave me this told me that it has long waited for a special pony," Sunny said. "A hopeful pony."

Twilight walked up to Sunny and said, "Maybe MC's future counterpart wasn't the only one who saw something in you."

"Well, I think it's time we get back home," MC said. "Let's head on home."

"Hold up, MC," Pipp said. "Izzy says that Bridlewood had so many natural plants that could be used for a new product of mine."

"Oh, yes," Rarity said. "I heard that some plants have been made into great perfumes. Hopefully it'll be better than your last idea."

"Yeah, ice cream as a face mask was a really bad idea," Pipp said. Then everyone around Rarity and Pipp laughed.

"Well, we'll catch up with you later, Pipp," MC said. "I'll have Nicole send you back the Spirit of Freedom. That way, once you find that ingredient, you'll have a way to transport it." Pipp nodded. Then MC, the Young 6, Sunny, Hitch, Zipp, Izzy, Misty, Sparky, Alphabittle and Haven got into the Spirit of Freedom. The Mane 6 and Pipp watched as the Spirit of Freedom take to the sky, flying all the way back to Station Square.
