A town near Ponyville
A cart was being pulled by a blue and yellow stallion who was whistling a tune away from a town.
Which was on fire.
“We’re cookin tonight!” He chuckled as he pulled his cart away as he walked on he saw the road into the more rural areas.
“Next city! Let’s see… nope… nope… visited that one already… aha! The aptly named Ponyville, heehee! Time to make some wishes come true!” The stallion then began to walk his way to Ponyville tugging his ‘Wishes with a price’ cart with him while continuing his whistling.
Fluttershy walked through her garden feeding the wandering chickens.
“Here you go darlings,” Fluttershy said handing some feed to the chickens who happily ate.
Angel hopped up to Fluttershy who turned to him and saw his usual foot tapping.
“Wait your turn, Angel, I have other animals to feed too,” Fluttershy said as she hovered up to the trees to feed the birds.
Suddenly an owl fluttered near her and gave a few ‘hoo’s’
“Huh? Are we out of Owl bits?... Oh dear, and the owl migration is coming soon, I’ll have to go into town to get more, thank you for saying so,” Fluttershy said before she landed, Angel tugged on her pant leg and pointed at his mouth.
“I will just be a few more minutes Angel, please be patient,” Fluttershy said walking out to Ponyville.
Angel kicked a rock and decided, ‘nope’ and he hopped after her.
Rainbow Dash flew towards home looking depressed, she just failed the tryouts for the Wonderbolts again, not by any fault of her own, Lightning Dust cheated and the ref didn’t see, so she had to try again in a month.
“Why can’t she get canned instead of me…” Rainbow said grumbling, she would have to try again in a month, no prob, more time to practice.
Then she saw Fluttershy and decided she needed a distraction from her mood and she flew down to see Fluttershy.
“Hey Shy!” Rainbow called.
“Huh? Oh hey Rainbow,” Fluttershy replied.
“What’s up? You doin something today?” Rainbow asked.
“Yes, I am looking to get more owl feed, there’s an owl migration coming up and I want to be prepared,” Fluttershy said.
“Always thinking of others, I just aced the Wonderbolts test… and then…” Rainbow trailed off.
“Then?” Fluttershy asked before seeing something and her eyes widened.
“Then Lightning Dust cheated me! I swear, when I become a Wonderbolt captain one day, I’ll totally can her instead!” Rainbow said with determination… before realizing Fluttershy was hiding behind her “Huh? What gives?” Rainbow asked.
“Hide me!” Fluttershy said.
“Why?” Rainbow asked.
“Him…” Fluttershy said.
“Huh?” Rainbow looked and saw a handsome and strong-looking yellow and purple stallion.
“What about him?” Rainbow asked, wondering if she needed to beat him up for picking on Fluttershy… it’s happened before…
“Don’t let him see me…” Fluttershy blushed covering her head with her hands..
“Ooooh, now I get it,” Rainbow smiled that she had a crush “Name?”
“H-his name is Gold Rush, he owns a carriage service… I haven’t been able to talk to him anytime I meet him.” Fluttershy said, flashing back to the times she tried to talk to him and she clammed up and left with an excuse or he showed up and when she saw him she panicked and ran.
“I didn’t know you liked a stallion, good on ya,” Rainbow saw slapping her back.
“Eeep!” Fluttershy squeaked.
“What do you like about him?” Rainbow asked.
“H-he’s a sweet guy, I’ve seen him, he donates to charities, he has three Labrador retrievers, and he loves animals too… he’s also handsome… I just… don’t know if he likes me,” Fluttershy said.
“I’ll bet you just need a good wingmare, wait here!” Rainbow said darting over there.
“N-no! I’m too nervous!” Fluttershy exclaimed.
“Thank you mam, have a nice day,” Gold said as he handed out another form to advertise his business.
“Hey! Dude!” Rainbow called and he turned to see Rainbow.
“Oh, hey there, do you want a form? I’m trying to expand my business into Ponyvill-” He got cut off when Rainbow wrapped her arm around him.
“Yeah yeah, cool, hey wanna meet my friend?” Rainbow said.
“Well, I don’t-”
“Great! Wait here!” Rainbow said darting away from him and bringing Fluttershy who was as stiff as a board.
“Mr Rush, meet Fluttershy,” Rainbow said.
“Uhm… Hello,” He said looking a little shy himself.
Fluttershy was sweating nervously.
“Say hello,” Rainbow whispered to Shy.
“H-h-h-hi,” Fluttershy stammered.
He found himself blushing at her soft tone and he smiled back “Hi, my name is Gold Rush, nice to meet-”
“Great talk! Better go water the bunnies! Bye!” Fluttershy lost her cool and ran.
“Darn it…” Rainbow sighed.
“...Ooook?” He said confusedly.
“Uh… sorry, she’s shy,” Rainbow said.
“No problem, I gotta head, to work,” Gold shrugged and walked away.
“Now to find her,” Rainbow said taking off to look for where she went.
Fluttershy sat in an alleyway crying.
“Curse it… this isn’t fair…” Fluttershy sobbed “Why?... Why was I born so shy?...” Fluttershy said.
Angel hopped around looking for Fluttershy but didn’t see her until he heard her crying and saw her in an alleyway, curious he hopped over to her.
“Huh?... Oh hi Angel,” Fluttershy gestured for a hug.
Angel sighed and he jumped into her arms and she hugged him for comfort.
After calming down she exited the alleyway and prepared to look for Rainbow Dash, when she bumped into another pony.
“Oh, sorry sir,” Fluttershy said trying to go around him but he grabbed her shoulder.
“Wait mam, I may be able to help you,” He said.
“Huh?” Fluttershy turned and saw a blue stallion with a yellow mane and he was wearing a sunhat.
“Uhm… help me with what? If you don’t mind me asking,” Fluttershy asked.
“I’ll answer that with a question, do you believe in wishes?” He asked.
“....I’m not sure, to be honest, magic may be real but wishing seems a little farfetched,” Fluttershy said.
“Follow me, I’ll help you,” He said as he walked away and beckoned her.
“I-I don’t really know… no offense,” Fluttershy said.
“If you don’t want help with your problem just say so, but trust me, you’ll find your satisfaction only with my powers,” He said.
“Powers?” Fluttershy asked.
“Yes, come come,” He gestured.
“Oooh… ok,” Fluttershy said as she walked with him, despite Angel's suspicion.
Twilight and Spike exited the castle, Twilight was talking to Spike about the recent friendship report she thought of.
“And In conclusion, I think that encouraging friends is the best thing to do in that situation,” Twilight said.
“Annnd done,” Spike said.
“Alright, can you please send it, and we can go visit Rarity,” Twilight said needing some friend time anyway.
“Sure!” Spike said before breathing fire on the message and sending it.
“Alright, let’s get going,” Twilight said before spotting Rainbow looking around.
“Hey Rainbow Dash, what’s going on?” Twilight asked.
“Hey Egghead, have you seen Shy? I lost track of her during… a confession I will not openly talk about, she should be the one to tell you,” Rainbow said.
“Confession?” Twilight said.
“Patient confidentiality,” Rainbow said.
“Gotcha, we can help you look,” Twilight said.
“But Twiiii,” Spike complained.
“Ok fine, I can,” Twilight said.
“Thanks!” Spike ran off to Rarity’s.
“Seriously wish he’d get over her,” Rainbow said.
“Me too,” Twilight said.
“Let’s go,” Rainbow said.
Fluttershy followed the mysterious stallion to the market area and saw a tent she hadn’t noticed before.
“When did that get there?” Fluttershy asked.
“Just got here today as a matter of fact,” He said.
“Oh, ok Mr…. I’m sorry, I didn’t get your name,” Fluttershy said.
“Just call me Djinn,” Djinn said.
“Oh, what an… interesting name,” Fluttershy said before following him to the tent.
“Well? Come in,” Djinn said.
“I-I’m a little claustrophobic,” Fluttershy said.
“Oh for Pete’s… trust me, you come in here, you’ll get your greatest desire, with a small price,” Djinn said.
“Hmm… o-ok,” Fluttershy’s heart was pounding, she was unsure seeing how she just met him but, she had Angel, so if things went south he could run for help.
“Ok,” He went into the tent and she followed him, and she found herself in a colorful tent with a series of colorful towels and a sitting area, it was a lot more spacy on the inside.
“Well? Sit,” Djinn said.
“O-ok,” Fluttershy sat in one chair and he sat in the other.
“So… I will give you the honor of knowing you're the first pony in this town to receive my help,” Djinn said.
“Help? What kind of help do you provide?” Fluttershy asked.
“The magical kind, I am what you call… a wish granter, for a price,” Djinn said.
“What is the price?” Fluttershy asked.
“We’ll work that out afterwards, for now, let’s get started,” Djinn said before pulling out a crystal ball and setting it on the table between them “Now… put your hand on this,” Djinn said.
“Which one?” Fluttershya sked.
“Either one,” Djinn said.
“O-ok,” Fluttershy reached forward and put her hand on the crystal ball.
“Now… tell me your heart's greatest desire,” Djinn said.
“Uhm…. why? What’ll-”
“Trust me,” Djinn said, honestly getting a little miffed with her hesitance on everything.
“W-well… a pink panda,” Fluttershy said.
“A what?” Djinn said.
“I’ve always wanted a pink panda,” Fluttershy said.
“I hear that, but I feel that isn’t it,” Djinn said.
“Wh-what do you mean?” Fluttershy asked pulling her hand away.
“Please don’t take your hand off the crystal ball,” Djinn said and she put her hand back on.
“It’s something else, I sense a stronger desire in your heart,” Djinn said.
“....A tamed manticore?” She asked.
“No,” Djinn responded.
“....Angel to behave?” Fluttershy asked and Angel looked at her offended.
“No,” Djinn said.
“..........a new dress?” Fluttershy asked more than said.
“NO!” He said startling her a bit “I sense it… I sense… a hole in your heart,” Djinn said.
“Oh my! Am I going to die?!” Fluttershy asked fearfully.
“Oh my gosh… why do they always respond like that… No! I meant a theoretical hole, a hole that swallows up any and all courage and leaves you a scared filly,” Djinn said.
“....It’s true,” Fluttershy said sadly.
“But I can help you, for a price,” Djinn said.
“How?” Fluttershy said.
“You gotta want it, do you want to be rid of your shyness?” Djinn asked.
“...Yes… Yes please!” She said looking distressed.
“Then wish for it…. Wish with all your heart, to be brave, fearless, and confident!” Djinn said firmly.
“I-I… I want it… to be confident! I want to be the bravest mare in Ponyville… no the world! I wish to be fearless!” Fluttershy said with all her heart.
“So you have wished it… so shall it be, and the price is what is near to you…” Djinn said the last part quietly before a great glow overcame them, the light made Angel fall off of her lap.
“AH! WHAT’S HAPPENING!?” Fluttershy asked as she couldn’t move her hand and it seemed like the light was enveloping her.
“Wish granted.” Djinn smiled as the light encompassed her.
Fluttershy was covered in the light and fell forward onto the table, clutching her chest with her free hand, groaning in discomfort and feeling nothing but pain in her chest as it felt like a hole was closing up in her heart she felt it shrink and shrink before it vanished, and all of the sudden… she felt the difference in herself.
When the light flashed one more time, Fluttershy was knelt over in new clothes.
“Feel better?” Djinn asked.
Fluttershy sat up, her eyes closed before it was revealed she was dressed in a fancy beige female office tux, a beige skirt, and a blue undershirt, her mane was styled differently, down like a pink waterfall and when she opened her eyes, they were sharp and just oozing with confidence.
“I feel… like a new mare,” Fluttershy said with a happy smile, she turned to a frightened Angel and smirked “Ask something of me in the way you usually do,” She said calmly.
…Angel knew something bad was going to happen but he did it anyway and he carefully gestured for her to fetch him a salad.
“Fetch it yourself! And while you're at it, bring me a salad,” she said firmly and with a tone that forbade argument, startling Angel, before giving a quiet squee and she turned to Djinn and stood up with him and shook his hand vigorously “Thank you thank you thank you! I feel so… liberated! The world doesn’t scare me anymore, the constant anxiety is gone! I just talked back to Angel without a hint of hesitance, oh how can I ever thank you?” Fluttershy asked.
“Well actually, there is one way, spread the word, I want more visitors, you know, to help them,” Djinn said with a grin.
“You can bet that I will share this service with any and everypony I know!” Fluttershy said before straightening up “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a stallion to claim,” She said before walking out in a professional manner.
Angel made to follow her but suddenly he was trapped in a cage.
“?!” Angel looked around and saw Djinn.
“Sorry little rabbit, but the price of her new confidence… is you,” Djinn said with an evil chuckle.
Angel’s eyes widened.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you… up until you are fat enough to eat,” Djinn said, smiling and showing his sharp teeth.
“?!?!?!?!?!?” Angel shook the cage and squeaked out Fluttershy’s name.
Rainbow and Twilight trotted through Ponyville, looking for Fluttershy.
“Where did she run off to?” Twilight asked.
“Yeah she’s not in her usual cowering areas,” Rainbow said.
“Well, I’m thinking we need to-... wait! There she is!” Twilight said pointing to Fluttershy who was walking towards them.
“Whoa… what the hay?” Rainbow said seeing her new outfit and the way she was carrying herself.
Her gait was gradual and seductive, not a stumble or misstep to be seen, and her expression usually bowed with anxiety and shyness was just glowing with confidence and eagerness to tackle the day, even her eyes were sharper and focused.
“....Uuuh… you sure that’s her?” Rainbow asked honestly taken aback by this transformation from her shy friend.
“F-Fluttershy?” Twilight asked as she reached them.
“Salutations my dear friends, how is your day?” Fluttershy asked, her voice had none of the quietness or meekness it was known for, it was smooth and confident, and not even a nervous stutter could be detected.
“Good… and you clearly had a good day too if you turned into… this!” Rainbow said gesturing to her professional mare appearance.
Fluttershy chuckled “Oh Rainbow dear, I feel amazing! Like I could take on the world and still go another round! I owe it all to this amazing pony named Djinn,” Fluttershy said.
“...Djinn?” Twilight asked.
“I was busy cowering in an alleyway just because a stallion talked to me, and when I was ready to continue wallowing in my pitiful existence, he approached me and took me to his tent, and I wished to become the bravest mare in the world! And now… I am,” Fluttershy said “Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, your looking at the new Fluttershy!” Fluttershy said striking a pose and looking over her shoulder at them.
“Wow….” Rainbow honestly felt the power coming off of her from here “So… uh… this guy grants wishes?”
“He mentioned a price but it seems all he wanted was for me to spread the word, by the way, I talked back to Angel! It was amazing, right Angel?...Angel?” She looked around and didn’t see him “Hmm… must have gone home, trust me dear, things will be changing when I get home, but first, I have a stallion to claim for myself,” She said.
“Slow down there, you sure? You might scare him like this,” Rainbow said, remembering how shy he was.
“If he doesn’t want this? Then I’ll find another, the world is big and Fluttershy cares not for it,” Fluttershy said.
“....Wait… what? ‘You’ll find another’?... Shy that sounds a little-”
“I’m practically bursting with confidence, if he doesn’t want this new amazing me, then that’s his loss,” Fluttershy said before flipping her mane “Anywho, I got work to do, toodles,” Fluttershy walked off.
“...Twilight, pinch me, I think I’m having a mix of a dream and a nightmare,” Rainbow said.
“...Me too…” Twilight said uncomfortably.

Spike entered Rarity’s house and saw the seamstress in the process of making two dresses at the same time.
“H-hey Rarity,” Spike said nervously.
“Ah hello darling, I was just in need of a model,” Rarity said.
“I’d be happy to,” Spike said as he walked over there.
“Alright dear, give me a bit,” Rarity said as she went to work, this gave Spike a moment to appreciate her beauty.
She was truly a beautiful mare, not only was her figure a total knockout, but she had a pretty face and a personality that was kind and giving if only he could cross two of the barriers needed to be with her.
Species, there is the whole dragon living longer than ponies thing to be concerned about, and age, he looks too young for her.
And so he joined her at the modeling table, pursuing his lovelorn life with Rarity.
After an hour Rarity ceased her pricking him with needles to realize she was out of fabric for the third dress she was making.
“Oh dear, I seem to be out of purple fabric, I need to complete this dress order by Thursday… say Spike, can I ask you a favor?” Rarity asked.
“Sure,” Spike said.
“I need violet fabric, could you retrieve some from the market while I retrieve some more needles from the fabric store?” Rarity asked.
“Why can’t you get both from the fabric store?” Spike asked, carefully taking the dress off.
“There’s a pony in the market that sells this rare fabric, I need it and the fabric store doesn’t have it,” Rarity said.
“Well…” It honestly seems silly to him but he couldn’t turn Rarity down “Ok,” Spike relented.
“Thank you darling,” Rarity said as she got up and walked towards the door with Spike behind her.
As they got outside they split up and went different ways.
Spike ran to the market, going around multiple ponies and he suddenly found himself lost while looking for the fabric stand.
“Where is it?... Should have asked where exactly it is,” Spike said before walking into Fluttershy.
“Ooof!” Spike fell over, Fluttershy isn’t usually this sturdy “Huh? Oh hey Fluttershy,” Spike said getting up and noticing her professional attire “Uh, nice outfit, you get a job at a law firm?” Spike asked.
“Oh no dear, it’s my new fashion, the fashion of a confident mare!” Fluttershy declared.
“...Did you go to another Iron Will seminar?” Spike said noticing her different aura of confidence.
“Wouldn’t dream of it, that minotaur has nothing to teach me now,” Fluttershy laughed before walking with Spike.
“Did somepony inject you with liquid sunbeams or something? Because I’m struggling to recognize you,” Spike said.
“Well, let’s just say I met with a stallion who granted me my heart's desire, and now, I’m a mare without equal!” Fluttershy said with a degree of arrogance.
“....Wow… so what did this stallion do?” Spike asked.
“He granted my wish, and now I can talk to any stallion without hesitance, why just a few minutes ago a stallion gave me his phone number, and I didn’t run away in fear,” Fluttershy said proudly.
“Wow, good for you Shy, sooo, what are you going to do now?” Spike asked.
“Find the stallion Gold Rush and make him mine!” Fluttershy said with determination.
“Well good luck with that, by the way, do you know where the fabric stand is?” Spike asked.
“That way,” Fluttershy said pointing to the stand that just so happens to be near the tent.
“Ok! Thanks!” Spike said running over to the stand, after ordering the fabric Spike prepared to head back to Rarity’s when he noticed Derpy exiting the tent, nothing odd was seen until she suddenly waved her hand and a muffin appeared in it.
“Huh?” Spike said, curiosity getting the better of him he went to her while she was enjoying her summoned muffin.
“Hey derpy,” Spike called.
“Hmm? Oh hello, Spike!” Derpy said.
“Uhm… how did you do that? I don’t remember pegasi being able to summon things out of thin air.” Spike said.
“It’s the gift Mr Djinn gave me! Now I can have all the muffins I want!” Derpy cheered.
“Mr Djinn?” Spike asked.
“Yeah, he is in there, he grants wishes,” Derpy said.
“Ok…” Spike said not fully believing it but on the other hand, she just poofed a muffin into her hand… and Fluttershy suddenly became braver… could he…
Spike didn’t want to give himself false hope, but he had to know, so he said bye to Derpy and entered the tent.
And saw Mr Djinn folding some blankets and setting them by some random stuff in the corner.
“Um… hey?” Spike asked.
“Huh? Oh… um hey, didn’t know there were dragons in these parts,” Djinn said.
“Uh yeah, I’m the princess's assistant, Spike,” Spike said.
“Well, I’ll admit this’ll be a first here,” Djinn said as he walked back over to him and sat down.
“Um… yeah, I heard you grant wishes,” Spike said.
“That’s right, it’s what I do, I imagine a dragon even one as short as you would want a big hoard right?” Djinn asked.
“Um… that’s just a stereotype, no, I have something I want more than any gem,” Spike said.
“Oooh, a dragon who doesn’t want a valuable object, fascinating, do sit and tell,” Djinn asked.
Spike nodded and sat down, twiddling his thumbs he decided to inform him.
“I…have a mare I like…” Spike said.
“A dragon… loving a pony? That is also a first,” Djinn admitted.
“And she doesn’t like me back, at least not in the way I like her, and so I was hoping-”
“Stop stop… I can’t do love,” Djinn said.
“What?” Spike said.
“Yeah, comes with the wishing rules, one, I can’t kill anyone, at least directly or intentionally, two I can’t ascend ponies to alicorn status, and three, I can’t force anyone to fall in love… per sey,” Djinn said with a wave of the hand.
“Per sey?” Spike wanted clarification.
“I can arrange a situation, but I can’t just clap my hooves and make her love you, even I got rules I gotta follow,” Djinn said.
“So… even you can’t help me…” Spike sighed.
“Now now, I didn’t say that, I said I can’t make her fall in love with you, but you can,” Djinn said.
“How?... She’s a pony, I’m a dragon, she wants a princely stallion…” Spike said.
“...Put your hand on the ball,” Djinn said putting the crystal ball on the table.
“Why?” Spike asked.
“Just do it,” Djinn said.
“Ok,” Spike said and he put his claw on it.
“Now… wish your greatest desire,” Djinn said, as he subtly implanted an idea in Spike's head.
“This can’t possibly work…” Spike said wondering where the strange thought came from.
“Won’t know until you try,” Djinn said.
“...Ok,” Spike said “I wish… I was the ideal kind of stallion Rarity would fall deeply in love with,” Spike said.
“So you have wished it, so shall it be, in exchange for something you treasure… I’m thinking, that,” He said reading Spike’s mind and suddenly a flash overcame them.
“Huh?! What’s- AAHH!” Spike yelled as he was encompassed in the light, he felt his body shift and change and when it was over he fell out of his chair.
“Ooof! What just happened, I-...my voice… what happened to my voice?” Spike asked before he felt his throat, his voice was deeper, sauve, charming.
“Stand up, Mr. Spike the pony,” Djinn said and Spike suddenly found himself being levitated to a standing position by Djinn’s magic.
“Huh?... Why is everything shorter?” Spike asked.
“Maybe take a look,” Djinn pulled a full-body mirror out and showed it to him.
And he was in awe.
He was a tall unicorn stallion, with a trim fit but not overbuilt model-like body contained in a spiffy tuxedo, a perfectly styled green mane and tail, and a face even Celestia would want to stare at for hours.
…There was no way around it…. He was stunning!
“If she doesn’t fall for you like this, then she’s either blind or an aromantic,” Djinn said with a chuckle.
“Wow… I look… amazing!” Spike said in silent awe, turning and looking at his body from all angles, he had it, not only was he a pony at long last, but he was a hunk to boot!
It wasn’t just that though, rifling through his thoughts, he found that it seemed his mind matured as much as his body did, he now knew all kinds of dating etiquette, all kinds of magic, all kinds of ways to please Rarity, even things about her he didn’t know, like how much she loves-
“Ahem,” Djinn said and Spike turned and smiled gratefully “I love this! Thank you!” Spike said.
“Alright, well go get the girl Spike,” Djinn said.
“What about the price?” Spike asked, remembering that he mentioned that.
“Don’t worry about it, I already got what I need,” Djinn said.
“Well, thanks, I really appreciate it,” Spike said as he ran off.
“....Heheheh, me too,” He said reaching behind his chair and pulling out another cage with Peewee in it “I wonder, how much these sell for?” Djinn asked himself.
Rarity was waiting in her Boutique for Spike to return.
“Oh… what is taking him? Did he get lost?” Rarity said worriedly before walking into the kitchen to pour herself some tea that was whistling.
As she was pouring the tea she heard the bell chime and the door close.
“Rarity! I’m back!” Spike’s voice said… although it was oddly different but Rarity was too distracted to notice.
“Oh thank goodness dear, I was worried you’d gotten yourself lost, did you bring the fabric?” Rarity asked.
“Yes… and so much more,” Spike said.
Not noticing him entering the kitchen she poured a second cup for him and began turning towards him.
“Well alright dear, I poured us some tea, I hope you like apple spice-” Rarity paused when she saw the stallion standing before her…. And she dropped the cups.
“Well? Impressive?” He asked smoothly posing.
“I-I….uh… h-hello sir, I didn’t hear you come in, along with Spike t-that is…. I… oh my,” Rarity found herself stuttering and blushing as she beheld the stallion of her dreams, where was Spike?
“I know you must be shell-shocked, but let me explain,” Spike said using his magic to levitate the spilled tea and glass shards into the nearby trash can.
“I-I… sorry sir, I am usually a better conversationalist than this… it is just… um… who are you?” Rarity said.
Spike debated making a new identity, but he decided against it… it would just cause problems later on, so he decided to just come out with it.
“It’s me, Spike,” Spike said.
“Um… sorry to doubt you sir, but Spike is a dragon,” Rarity said.
“Rarity it’s me! I… had my wish granted, and now, I’m a dream stallion,” Spike said.
Rarity seemed a little confused and eyed him suspiciously and decided to test him.
“So… you're Spike?” Rarity asked.
“Yes,” Spike responded.
“Prove it, What was Spike’s pet phoenix named?” Rarity asked.
“Peewee,” Spike easily answered.
“Favorite gem?” Rarity asked.
“Red diamonds, but occasionally sapphires,” Spike said.
“Correct… what about our secret handshake?” Rarity said.
“Trick question, we don’t have one,” Spike said.
Rarity gasped a little, how did he guess that? She had to ask the only other thing she could think of.
“Last question, w-what did he once try to call me as a nickname?” Rarity asked sure this one would reveal the trick.
“Rarest gem of the hoard,” Spike answered confidently.
Rarity took a step back in shock “S-Spike?! It is you!” Rarity exclaimed.
“Told you,” Spike said with a smile.
“Wha-how did this happen?” Rarity asked, honestly trying to not look him over for the hundredth time.
“A stallion who grants wishes granted my wish, now I’m the ideal stallion,” Spike said.
“...And the real reason?” Rarity asked with a deadpan.
“No, really! I can take you to him later, guaranteed, he turned me into a stallion so… I can pursue my dream mare,” Spike said, he felt more confident like this, so he got ready to make his feelings known.
“Your dream mare?... Oh Spike! I am happy for you, who is she?” Rarity asked.
…She didn’t know?.... Well, better late than never he supposed.
“You Rarity, I love you ,” Spike said with a charming smile.
“M-me? I-I admit I am flattered Spike, but aren’t you a tad young?... well, looking at you right now you’re clearly not a child anymore but…” Rarity said feeling flustered right now.
“I wished to be your dream stallion Rarity, so we can be together,” Spike said approaching.
“S-Spike, th-think about it, we haven’t even-” Rarity yelped a little bit as he hugged her close.
She felt her tension melt away as she felt his strong body against her body and she smiled and hugged him back.
“We’ve been around eachother enough that we know everything we need to know about eachother, we’ve pretty much done the difficult part already, what say you milady?” Spike made her look up into his eyes “Do you love this version of me?” Spike asked smoothly.
“....I-I… Spike, as I said this is going a tad too fast, perhaps we should… date first?” Rarity offered.
Spike smiled brightly at this, a date! He has a date with Rarity!
“Sure milady, anything you wish,” Spike said.
Rarity blushed when he said that and before she could stop herself she leaned in and kissed him on the lips.
After they parted Spike looked at her in surprise and Rarity mirrored his surprise.
“I-I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over-” Rarity was cut off as he pulled her in for a deep and powerful kiss.
And Rarity didn’t fight it for a second.
“Thanks again!” Carrot Top left with her now bottomless basket of carrots, as she left, she walked past Rainbow Dash and Twilight.
“Huh, so this is the place where wishes are granted… Well, let’s go investigate,” Twilight said and they entered.
As they entered they saw Djinn relaxing atop a new lawn chair.
“Ah… nice an… huh? Oh! More customers,” He got up and walked over before sitting down.
“How may I grant your wish today?” Djinn asked.
“Can it, what did you do to Fluttershy?” Rainbow asked firmly.
“Why whatever do you mean?” Djinn asked.
“She’s acting like an overconfident vixen,” Rainbow said.
“Oh, you mean the yellow who is not so yellow now? If anything I helped her,” Djinn said.
“She’s out there targeting stallions now, I’m worried for her,” Rainbow said.
“Well don’t be, she’s the bravest mare in the world now, and I imagine that mindset is pretty addictive for somepony like her,” Djinn said.
“What are you gaining from this all?” Twilight asked.
“Just minor stuff, but what’s it to you princess?” Djinn said.
“I don’t trust this,” Twilight said looking around for anything suspicious.
“Tell you what, let me grant your hearts desires, that’ll make believers out of you both,” Djinn said.
“What? I’m not falling for that mumbo jumbo,” Rainbow said.
“Come here, try it, what do you got to lose?” Djinn asked.
“My dignity,” Rainbow said.
“Well, have it your way, come back whenever, before I take my leave,” Djinn said.
“And when’s that?” Twilight asked.
“Sometime soon, now if you’ll excuse me, I have more customers,” Djinn pointed to the line behind them.
“Let’s go Rainbow, we can’t prove he’s doing anything bad right now,” Twilight said.
“Ok…” Rainbow said and they took their leave.
“Heh, no you can’t,” Djinn said as he greeted the next customer.

Regained youth and a bad deal
Gold Rush had finished handing out flyers and was getting ready to head home.
“Hopefully Lin, Lou and Mitzy didn’t tear up the sofa again,” Gold Rush said as he hurried on back to his cart.
As he opened the back of the cart and got ready to climb in a hand came out of nowhere and shut it.
“Huh?” Gold Rush turned and saw Fluttershy, only… something was very different about her, was it the law firm outfit? Was it the straightened mane? Was it the near-predatory look she had in her eyes as she stared at him with desire?.... More like all of the above…
“Uh… hi Fluttershy, you seem… different,” Gold Rush said nervously.
“Oh… I am different, thanks to a little ole wish I’m now an alpha mare, and I want you, handsome,” She flirted.
“Uh… you ok? You seem-” She grabbed his tie and pulled him in and he yelped.
“Enough talk, pick a location, I’m ready anytime,” She said, her breath tickling his ear.
“U-uh, this is kinda making me uncomfortable,” Gold Rush back up.
“Oh? Am I being too rough? I can take it easier, very easy,” She said sitting on the wagon and patting the side of it.
“...You’re not the same mare as before, you’re kinda scaring me,” Gold said, looking for an out.
“Was the old me preferable?” Fluttershy asked with a raised brow.
“No offense but yes,” Gold Rush said with a sigh.

“...Alright,” Fluttershy sighed as she hopped off and saw him climb on and he took it away.

As Fluttershy got home she looked around and saw her animals running around doing what they wanted, as old Fluttershy she’d just meekly let them go about their business, but as new Fluttershy… she didn’t have the patience.
“STOP!” She said with a cold finality and every animal froze in place.
“There’s gonna be some new rules here, one no more knocking things over, you knock it you fix it, not me ARE WE CLEAR!?” Fluttershy said loudly, like a drill sergeant.
The animals, scared of her new forceful tone saluted and nodded meekly.
“SECOND! No talking back about your meal, eat what’s in front of you, OR DON’T EAT!” Fluttershy said.
They nodded.
“Thirdly, when I say, no predation, I MEAN IT,” Fluttershy said glaring at an alligator who had a mouse in his mouth and he nervously spat him out.
“Finally, I expect some work to be done around here, I’ve been too lenient on you all, I’ll take a break today because I need it, the rest of you, CLEAN HOUSE,” Fluttershy didn’t once break the stare.
The animals immediately lined up, nodded, and then ran around to begin cleaning.
“Whew, now that that’s done, it’s time for some garden catalogs,” Fluttershy said walking over to the couch and sitting down, feeling pleased she finally stood up for herself to her less obedient animals.
Harry looked at her nervously and wondered what turned her into this?...
Applejack huffed as she kicked another tree.
Today was another day, except not just any other day… it was the anniversary of when she lost her parents, she was too young to remember what happened.
And Granny’s health is declining, it won’t be long before…
“It ain’t fair…” Applejack said remembering how Granny told them it was alright that they wouldn’t get her a great grandchild in time, but she was glad to be able to be with them with her time left.

Applejack breathed heavily before seeing she’d finished bucking this part of the orchard.
“Time ta switch shifts with Mac,” AJ said as she headed down to Ponyville, as she walked into Ponyville she saw some odd sights.
Mrs. Cheerilee was flying through the air… as a pegasus?!
Carrot Top was pouring a mountain of carrots out of a simple bag, it was unending.
Derpy was conjuring muffins and eating them.
And… who was that beefy white mare walking towards her?
“Mornin AJ,” Bulk said.
“Wait a minute… Bulk Biceps!?” Applejack said seeing him as a mare.
“Yep,” Bulk Biceps said.
“....How… what in the… Discord did this didn’t he?” Applejack demanded.
“Nope,” Bulk Biceps said.
“Then how?” Applejack demanded.
“A stallion with wish-granting powers did this,” Bulk said.
“...You wished to be a mare?” Applejack asked.
“Well actually I asked to be the person I am deep down,” Bulk said.
“...Why? Never thought ya had problems with yer sexuality before,” Applejack said.
“It’s… complicated, anywho, I’ll head back home now, Big Mac told me to tell you to, watch the apple stand please,” Bulk Biceps said before walking away.
“....Ah’m confused, let’s go find out bout this wish granter that turned Bulk into a mare,” Applejack said before walking away.
As she made her way to the market she put the be back in five minutes sign up and looked around before finding the big purple tent with the words ‘Wishes for a price’ on the side.
“Alright, let’s debunk this,” Applejack entered and had to step out of the way of a pony with a… monkey butler?...
“Come this way, Mr. Peels, we’ve got lots of housework to do,” The mare said.
The monkey chittered in agreement.
“This went from weird to crazy,” Applejack said before storming into the tent.
“Alright, who is runnin this business?!” Applejack demanded.
“Oh here I am,” Djinn said poking his head out the back and walking up to Applejack “What can I do ya for?”
“Are you the one who caused Ponyville to become like this?” Applejack asked.
“You mean created a Ponyville where everyone's desire is fulfilled? Yes,” Djinn said.
“It’s chaos out there, fix it,” Applejack said.
“I’m doing everypony a favor, deal, speaking of deals, wanna make your own wish?” Djinn asked.
“No, ah don’t buy into that hoopla,” Applejack said.
“...And yet you came in here to complain about my wishes?” Djinn said unsure of where her logic is going.
“Fine… point taken, but ah have no need for a wish,” Applejack said.
“You sure?... I’m sensing something you desire…” He said.
“What?” Applejack said.
“Something about your grandmother… what could it be?” Djinn said.
“H-hey! Stay outta mah head!” Applejack shouted.
“You’re sad she’s dying soon… my condolences,” He said with a hidden grin.
“Shut up!” AJ picked him up by his shirt, but he didn’t seem afraid.
“What if I could help give her more time?” Djinn said.
“If ya mock me one more time ah’m gonna-” Djinn somehow slipped out of her grip and sat at the table.
“Well? Wanna save her or what?” Djinn asked with an unfriendly smile.
“Ah do want it… but nopony can extend the lives of others! It’s impossible, less you’re an alicorn,” AJ said.
“I can’t make her an alicorn, but I can help, I promise you, make your choice,” Djinn asked.
“...Ah'll try it… but this better not be some cruel joke, or ah’m gonna get violent,” Applejack said.
“I’d like to see you try…” Djinn said as AJ sat down.
“What?” AJ asked.
“Nothing, now, put your hand on this here crystal ball,” Djinn said as he set it on the table.
“Fine,” AJ said as he put his hand on it as well.
“Now wish away farmer,” Djinn said.
“Fine ah wish Granny Smith had some more time in this world,” AJ said.
“Be more specific, I can’t do something that vague,” Djinn said.
“Ah wish she was younger, young enough she could enjoy life and have enough time ta meet her great grandkids,” AJ said, expecting him to reveal this was a cruel joke.
“So you have wished it, so shall it be, in exchange for something you treasure,” Djinn said and the ball lit up.
“The hay?!” AJ exclaimed and the flash overcame the area and formed into a ball of magic “What the?” Applejack said and she saw it fly away.
“Wish granted, go home to her,” Djinn said.
“...This better not be a lie,” Applejack warned before she headed home.
“And in exchange, I get something of yours,” Djinn said laying back in his chair.
Applejack hurried home, she needed to see if this was true!
Meanwhile Apple Bloom was carrying an extra blanket to Granny who was shivering, even though she had three blankets.
“Ah… got ya another one,” AB said.
“Aw… thank ya dear, ah’m glad ta have a pony like you as a granddaughter,” Granny said.
“You’ll get better soon right Granny?” AB asked.
“...No,” Granny Smith said and Apple Bloom began to cry a little.
As Granny was trying to console Apple Bloom the blue sphere flew through the window.
“What?” Granny said looking at the sphere before it flew into her and entered her chest.
Then she glowed.
“Huh? Granny?!” Apple Bloom exclaimed.
“Wh-what’s happenin?” Granny Smith asked… before her wrinkles started to vanish, slowly.
“Huh?” Apple Bloom said in awe as she saw Granny Smith… getting younger?
Her mane and tail regained color, and the wrinkles on her face vanished leaving smooth fur-covered skin. Her posture straightened and any sagging part of her body returned to its younger state, with a crack her bones hardened and health returned to her.
Applejack came in just in time to see her grandmother back in her prime.
“Wh-what… HUH?!” Granny stood up, and to her surprise, nothing cracked or twisted.
“G-Granny?!” AJ and AB exclaimed.
“Wha-what happened ta me?... Ah’m… young again?” Granny Smith felt all over herself and found she’d gotten her youth back.
“G-Granny?...” AB said approaching cautiously.
“I-it’s a miracle,” Granny said with tears in her eyes.
“Yer… young again…” AJ said before running over to Granny Smith and hugging her, and this time she didn’t squeeze lightly.
“Ooof! If ya hugged me that tightly before ah’d snap in two!” Granny laughed hugging Applejack back and Applejack grunted, she had the strength of an Apple alright,
“Thank you…” Applejack said, knowing Djinn wasn’t blowing smoke after all.
Suddenly Big Mac came in and gasped upon seeing the young Granny Smith.
“G-Granny?!” Mac said, his eyes wide before he shook his head “No, question this later, ya’ll need ta see this,” Big Mac led them outside and they gasped seeing the now empty trees.
“Wh-what happened ta the apple stock?!” Granny exclaimed.
“Ah don’t know, ah was in the orchard buckin them and suddenly they all just… poofed away!” Big Mac said.
“...Ah may have ta rescind that thanks…” AJ said.
Djinn was eating an apple when AJ came storming back in.
“So it was you who stole our apples! Give ‘em back!” AJ said.
“That’s a funny way to say thanks for rejuvenating your grandmother,” He said casually.
“Ah’m thankful for that, but ya’ll can’t take every apple on the farm! What’ll we sell to afford stuff for the farm durin the winter?” Applejack said.
“Hmmm…. Don’t know don’t care,” He shrugged.
“You snake, ya tricked me!” AJ said.
“Ah ah! Technically I didn’t, it says so right on the banner outside, ‘Wishes for a price’ not my fault you didn’t think of the consequences,” He said taking another bite of the apple.
“Give back our stock or so help me I’ll-” Applejack threatened before he held up his hand.
“Before you beat me senseless, let me remind you I made Granny younger and spry in the first place, I can just as easily take it away, you wanna be the one to look her in the eye and say ‘I took away your second chance at youth over a few measly apples’?” Djinn asked.
Applejack looked stunned and she didn’t know what to do.
“Sunk in? I own your stock now, and unless you want me to take away Granny’s youth, I suggest you leave me to my apple collection, which will fetch me a handsome price by the way,” Djinn said.
“You heartless monster,” Applejack said.
“Been called worse by my mother, I say whatever, now skedaddle, and by the way, if you tell anypony about the bad end of the deal and cause business to slow, well… you know,” Djinn said.
“Fine, ah hope ya choke on it,” Applejack said walking away.
“Next customer!” Djinn called.

As for Shy, it seems her newfound overwhelming confidence is starting to shape a slightly nasty side to her.
Pinkie walked through Ponyville, she saw various ponies doing strange things.
One pony Pinkie knew the name of, and it was Citrus btw, who she knew had always dreamed of mastering juggling…. But he kinda sucked at it, but now? He was juggling two separate sets of balls and one set with his hoof.
“Nice!” Pinkie gave him a thumbs up.
“Thanks!” Citrus commented back.
Another Pony named Cider Keg was literally chugging entire barrels of hard cider and he didn’t even look tipsy or full.
“Isn’t that too much cider?” Pinkie asked.
“Not anymore! I wished to be able to drink as much as I wanted without getting full or drunk!” Cider said before he drank some more.
Another pony that Pinkie noticed was Filthy Rich…. Wanna guess what he has now viewers?... Give up? A giant walking piggy bank that spat some coins into his hand when he reached back.
“Ooh nice piggy!” Pinkie said petting it.
“Oink!” The bank squealed.
“Hands off! That’s my bottomless money pig!” Filthy said.
Pinkie peeked at the Bank's butt.
“He has a bottom,” Pinkie obliviously said.
“Not what I meant,” Filthy said before walking away with his pig.
“Hmm…. where is everypony getting these things?” Pinkie asked before deciding to ask someone.
She decided to approach a pink mare who was busy playing with a German Shepherd.
“Good boy!” She laughed as he ran up to her.
“Excuse me! Cherry!” Pinkie asked the mare.
“Huh? Oh hey Pinkie!” Cherry said.
“When did you get a dog?” She gasped “Do I need to throw a new pet party!?” Pinkie asked.
“Nonono,” Cherry said.
“Oh yeah, I forgot you don’t like surprise parties, so when did you get a dog?” Pinkie asked.
“I didn’t get him, I wished for him, and the cool part, he’ll live as long as a normal pony,” Cherry bragged.
“Wow, wishing? By who?” Pinkie asked.
“A stallion named Djinn, granted me my desire for a pet dog that won’t die too soon,” Cherry said.
“Cool! I should visit him,” Pinkie said before she hopped away as she hopped, somehow knowing where the tent was located, she spotted Rarity and a handsome purple and green stallion, walking somewhere together.
“Heeey! Rares!” Pinkie said, approaching them.
“Hmm? Oh hello, Pinkie dear! How are you?” Rarity said contentedly as the purple stallion had his arm around her.
“I’m doing super! As usual! And hello to you Spike, lookin good!” Pinkie said.
“How did you- nevermind,” Spike said, knowing not to question the pink.
“He’s quite the looker, I’m almost jealous you got to him first!” Pinkie giggled.
“Oh don’t get any ideas Pinkie, he’s mine,” Rarity chuckled with her.
“So? You two are dating?” Pinkie asked.
“Yes we are,” Spike said with a happy smile.
“I was a tad hesitant at first I will admit, considering how sudden this all was, but I feel content knowing my true love is at my side now,” Rarity said looking up at Spike flirtatiously.
“And I got the mare of my dreams,” Spike said smiling down at her and they kissed.
“Awww, I’ll bet you visited the Wish Tent too! I’m headed that way myself,” Pinkie said.
“I recommend it, he helped me big time!” Spike said.
“Well, have fun on your date you two! I’ll come by later!” Pinkie said as she bounced off.
“Well milady? Want to continue our stroll before dinner?” Spike asked politely.
“Indeed dear,” Rarity hummed as they moved on.
Pinkie hopped towards the tent and saw Applejack leaving it, some tears were going down her face.
“AJ?” Pinkie asked before approaching her and putting her hand on her shoulder.
“WHAT DO YA WANT?!” AJ snapped, Pinkie knew she was in distress and didn’t mean to lash out so she calmly responded.
“I was hoping to find out why you were crying, did something happen?” Pinkie asked.
“...Ya’ll bet somethin happened, look Pinkie, don’t go in there, or he’ll-” Applejack paused when she looked back and saw Djinn staring at her from the entrance and eating another apple.
“...Never mind…” AJ said walking away.
“B-but AJ,” Pinkie asked.
“Ah got nothin ta say,” AJ said as she left, punching a wall as she walked past.
“Hello,” Djinn said as he approached.
“Huh? Oh hey, I haven’t seen you in Ponyville before… say did you do something to upset AJ?” Pinkie asked.
“Hmm? No, she’s probably just had a bad day,” Djinn said with a shrug as he cast the unfinished apple aside “Hey, I don't remember granting a wish to you, wanna?” Djinn asked.
“Sure!” Pinkie said and she followed him into the tent.
Fluttershy had reentered town ready to unleash her new self on the populace, in a non-evil way of course.
“Now, where to go for some entertainment?” Fluttershy said before she decided to wander to the nearest bar, she entered and sat down at the bar.
“Huh, well if it isn’t the shyest drinker, come for a cup of alcohol-free-” The bartender asked.
“No, this new Fluttershy lives dangerously, and she wants your most potent cider,” Fluttershy slammed her bits on the counter.
“....Uhm… are you Fluttershy’s sister or somethin? You seem-”
“Can you pour and talk please?” Fluttershy said cooly examining her options in the bar.
“Alright,” The bartender sighed and he poured her some powerful malty cider with root beer mixed in and a lemon wedge “Careful, this is-”
Fluttershy snatched it and walked off “Thanks,” She said.
“Potent…” The bartender said with a sigh.
Having locked onto a potential lover Fluttershy paused in front of Thunderlane, she had a crush on him as big as her crush on Gold Rush, but she was always scared because he seemed ‘too tough for her’ now? He’s just another colt for her to invite home.
“Hey there Mr Lane,” Fluttershy said seductively as she approached him with his drinking buddies.
“Huh? Oh hey Shy….wow…” He paused when he saw her professional look, he had to admit, she wore it well, she even undid a few buttons.
“Uh… need something?” Thunder asked.
“Do I need something?... I was thinking of alcohol, a backrub and a whole night with you,” Fluttershy said with a wink.
“...Wow… are you a Changeling? Because the previous Shy would-”
“Previous Fluttershy is dead, long live new Fluttershy, now do we have a date or do I have to keep looking?” She asked.
“Dude… do it, she’s offerin,'' another stallion said.
“She is one of the prettiest babes in Ponyville,” Thunderlane’s drinking buddy said.
“Would she be willing to take a third?” This time it was a mare who spoke.
“Name the time, I’m booked between now and seven thirty by the way,” Thunderlane said leaning in with a smirk.
“Seven thirty-five, don’t keep me waiting,” Fluttershy said as she turned to leave and she brushed her tail across his face.
“Fluttershy dude, with a confidence boost, you're moving up!” Thunderlane’s drinking buddy cheered.
“Shut up…” Thunderlane blushed a little.
Pinkie hopped into the chair and Djinn sat on the other side.
“So, what is it that you wish?” Djinn said.
“I’m thinking-”
“And no cake, even I have wishing standards,” Djinn said looking a little perturbed.
“Wowie! Can you see into my mind?” Pinkie asked.
“Technically yes, but your mind is so chaotic I’m not willing to risk the headache,” Djinn said honestly.
“Hmm, what do I want,” Pinkie asked herself.
“For once I can’t tell ya, just make a pick,” Djinn said.

“Not just any kazoo one that makes anypony who listens to it dance to the beat,” Pinkie added.
“....Still, you could wish for anything… and you pick a kazoo?.... Alright, I guess, and maybe for my sake I’ll take this,” Djinn said as he casually summoned the magical kazoo from the crystal ball and he handed it to her.
“Yay! Magic kazoo I love you!” Pinkie cheered before she bounced out of there.
“....Worse customer yet, but this outta shut her up,” Djinn said holding a bottle with a glowing light in it.
Pinkie bounced around playing with her kazoo and anypony who was nearby found themselves dancing.
“Whoo hoo! Party!” Pinkie said jumping amidst the dancing ponies.
“Whoa!” A stallion yelped as he darted past her and did a jumping split “OWWW!” He cried.
“Yeah! Get down with your bad self!” Pinkie said as she did dance moves as well and after a long dance routine she finished with a flip.
“Yay! Best kazoo ever! Haaaaaaaah…..huh?” Pinkie noticed instead of a laugh she gave a long raspy wheeze “Odd… do I have something in my throat?” Pinkie asked, coughing loudly and drinking a cup of water she pulled out of nowhere and then she tried again.
“Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah…. Haaaaaah…. HAAAAAAAH….” Pinkie found… her ability to laugh was gone.
Frantically she tried again and again but all that came out was a wheeze that sounded like a deflating balloon.
“...My laugh…” Pinkie's mane deflated “It’s gone…NOOOO!” Pinkie yelled and ran off in a panic.
Rarity sat down at the fancy restaurant's dinner table and Spike pushed her in, afterwards, he sat at the other end, and after ordering their food they decided to chat.
“Oh darling, that visit to the dress shop was simply wonderful,” Rarity said.
“And you looked fabulous in every dress,” Spike said with a smile.
“Thank you dear,” Rarity said “And that sunset stroll we did was marvelous, how did you know I love those?” Rarity asked.
“I’m your dream stallion, I know you like the back of my hand,” Spike said with a kind smile.
“You know, I noticed something different about you when you returned as a stallion, you seem more mature, more knowledgeable about dating etiquette,” Rarity said and Spike looked to the side.
“Oh dear, I hope you don’t feel as if I am insulting you, I mean that it seems this, mysterious wish changed more than your form,” Rarity said.
“I’m not sad, if anything I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, can I share something with you dear?” Spike said.
“Go right ahead,” Rarity said.
“I hated being a dragon… alot,” Spike said.
“...You did?” Rarity said in surprise.
“Yes, there were many reasons to, one of them being… I’d outlive you,” Spike said earnestly.
“But Spike, longevity is the dream many share,” Rarity said.
“Not for me, I lived among ponies, and everytime I go to Canterlot, I get the side-eye from some ponies, I couldn’t be with you because I was too young and I would remain that way until long after you passed, it didn’t help that most of the dragons I’ve met are jerks, I was born and raised a pony, so… I always wanted to be one, if it meant, I can be with you,” Spike said.
Rarity was touched, he loved her that much? That he was willing to shorten his lifespan to less than a hundred years, just to be with her?… It filled her heart with a sense of fulfillment that no prince could fill it with, she… wanted him, and not just because he’s a total stud, but because his love was so great, he’d make such a sacrifice for her.
“Darling… after our meal do you wish to accompany me back to the Boutique?” Rarity asked with lidded eyes.
Spike’s eyes widened as he knew what she was getting at “Are you certain milady?... I-I mean, this is only the first date and-”
Hesitance to take my chastity on the first date, he really is… the perfect stallion.
“Oh trust me… there is no regrets,” Rarity said.
“...In that case, I accept your offer Lady Rarity,” Spike said regaining his composure.
Pinkie ran into Twilight’s house as she was sorting books,
“TWILIGHT! TWILIGHT! You gotta help me!” Pinkie cried.
“What now?” Twilight sighed, usually, Spike was back from Rarity’s by now, but he must be planning to stay over at her house again.
“I can’t laugh!” Pinkie said.
“...Have you tried stand-up comedy?” Twilight suggested.
“Yes! And I can’t even chuckle! I’m not joking Twilight, I lost my laugh!” Pinkie cried.
“Hmm, let me try something,” Twilight was suspicious and she used a spell and hit Pinkie with it, a harmless tickle charm.
Pinkie fell to the ground but not laughing like usual, she was just making a weird wheezing noise.
“You're right, that one always makes you laugh, maybe your sick?” Twilight asked.
“No… I made a wish,” Pinkie said.
“You did? For what?” Twilight said and Pinkie showed her the kazoo “You wasted a wish on-”
“Yes! And he mentioned there was a price! I think the price was my ability to laugh,” Pinkie said.
“Then that cinches it, we need to go find him, now!” Twilight said, before she got to the door it was kicked open with enough force to actually make her stumble back.
“Twilight, ah need a word with ya, it’s urgent!” A mysterious green mare said.
“Uh… who are you and why did you almost destroy my door?” Twilight asked.
“It’s me! Granny Smith!” Granny said.
“....Wha?” Pinkie said.
Canterlot
Celestia sighed as she completed another case of mysterious events, plaguing Equestria as of late.
Suddenly a portal opened in her throne room and Discord exited.
“Helloooooo, Sunbutt! I am back from my vacation!” Discord said.
“Vacation?... I thought you were going to your home dimension for a while,” Celestia asked.
“That is a vacation in my opinion, but I came back a tad early due to a strange thing that I’ve sensed,” Discord said.
“The day you consider something strange is a day I worry about,” Celestia said.
“Yes yes, what I mean is that there’s a feeling that somewhere in Equestria, there’s a presence that is bothering me… I feel as though I will need to investigate,” Discord said.
“Come to think of it, a series of unfortunate events have been occurring throughout Equestria as of late, your help will be greatly appreciated,” Celestia said.
“Alright, I think I’ll go pay Fluttershy a visit first,” Discord said before teleporting… and then teleporting back flat as a pancake.
“Oh dear! What happened?” Celestia asked.
“Did you put an anti-chaos magic barrier around Ponyville? I smashed against it with great force,” Discord said before reinflating himself.
“That’s weird… I didn’t, who else could have?” Celestia asked.
“Hmm… the investigation starts now then,” Discord said taking his leave.

“G-Granny Smith?... Don’t tell me you-” Twilight asked but Granny walked over to her and cut her off.
“Ah didn’t, but mah granddaughter AJ did, she made a wish an gave me mah youth back, what she didn’t anticipate is that heartless snake Djinn stealing our entire stock in return!” Granny said firmly.
“Your entire stock?!” Pinkie exclaimed.
“Yes, not a single apple was left behind, if we can’t get it back, we’ll be unable to meet our yearly quota an we’ll have ta close down the acres, Princess, ah can’t do anythin against him directly but you can,” Granny said.
“So that’s his angle… he gives you what you want and takes something you value in return, I’ll go confront him,” Twilight said.
“I’ll come too,” Pinkie said.
“Ah’ll make him pay for what he did,” Granny said cracking her knuckles.
“Alright,” Twilight said.
And with a desire for vindication, the three left.
Thunderlane nervously walked over to Fluttershy’s house, he’d always wanted to bed Fluttershy, but the mare was always too shy for it, he figured she wasn’t even interested in the thought, but now… she was inviting him over, he had flowers just to set the mood, he may be a bit of a player but he still has standards.
As he approached the cottage he noticed multiple critters working tirelessly to clean the place.
“Odd, I figured they didn’t even do chores,” Thunderlane said with a shrug.
He walked up to the door and checked his watch, he was on time, so he knocked on the door five times and waited.
And what he saw when the door opened… blew him away.
Fluttershy stood there with a grin and was only wearing a towel.
“Punctual, I like it,” Fluttershy said.
“Whoa,” Thunderlane said, the towel did little to hide her large chest or her curves, they weren’t kidding when they said Fluttershy was beautiful.
“You gonna stare all night or come in?” Fluttershy said seductively.
“You bet I’m coming in hot stuff,” Thunderstrike flirted as he entered and he saw the animals were all gone from the house “Where’s the animals?” Thunderlane asked.
“Told them to stay in their burrows, so we have the entire place to ourselves,” Fluttershy said.
“Sounds good, brought you flowers, thought it’d set the mood,” Thunder said.
“Thanks, put them there,” Fluttershy pointed to a table and he set them there.
“So… wanna grab a bite? I noticed it looked like you just came out of the bathroom, so I-” Thunderlane went dead silent as he turned and saw the normally shy Fluttershy drop her towel… revealing her beautiful body…
“Oops,” Fluttershy said with a desiring grin and she walked towards the stairs and glanced back at him, his eyes were mainly on her butt though “Coming?” She asked.
“Y-yes!” Thunderlane said as he followed her upstairs.
“Hold it!” She said firmly and he paused.
‘Oh please don’t be having second thoughts…’ Thunderlane said in his head.
“Leave the clothes down here,” She said as she continued upstairs.
Thunderlane wasted no time and went up with her after losing the clothes.
Spike and Rarity went back to the Boutique, Spike opened the door for Rarity and let her in.
“Such a gentleman, Rarity giggled.
“As long as I'm around you'll never have to open another door again,” Spike said.
“I'm honored dear, now come, we have much to do,” Rarity said as she and Spike went upstairs.
“Won't Sweetie hear?” Spike asked.
You need not worry, I made sure we had the Boutique to ourselves, she’s having a sleepover with her friends,” Rarity said.
“I must admit, I am nervous, I know the…proper technique but this will still be my first time… doing it,” Spike admitted.
“Then let us make it the best night of your life,” Rarity said.
The two made it into the room and Spike closed the door behind him.
“Look Spike… it's been your dream since you met her, just let her do whatever she wants to do,” Spike tried to reassure himself.
“Excuse me darling, but we simply must take a shower,” Rarity said with a hint hidden in there.
“Oh sure, shall I wait out here for my turn?” Spike offered.
“No,” Rarity said with a chuckle.
“Should I go first then?” Spike asked.
“No,” Rarity said looking at him with lust.
“Then who-” he paused when Rarity waved her hand for him to follow her into the bathroom and Spike went ridged at what the implications were.
But out of love he followed her in and to his utter amazement, he saw her unhook her dress and hit the ground.
She looked back at him over her shoulder.
“Oh dear, I suppose you’ve caught me at a bad time?” Rarity asked with a chuckle.
Spike was in shock, apart from the pool where he saw her in a bikini he'd never seen this much exposure on her.
His adult hormones were going haywire.
“Care to help me with this?” Rarity not so subtly gestured to her bra.
Younger Spike would have fainted right then and there, but it seems this new Spike had some greater mental fortitude and he slowly approached her, she was turned towards him so he had to reach around her to undo her bra, Rarity made sure to press her chest against him as he did this only making him breath harder.
When he did and the bra fell to the ground she back up a little bit to give him a good view… and he found himself staring.
“Well dear, I suppose we’ll have to share the bathroom since your here, come come,” Rarity said walking away with a sway of the hips, Spike could see she must have used her magic to remove her other undergarments.
He found himself admiring her butt now until she turned around and he looked up and saw her staring expectantly.
Realizing what she was wanting Spike smiled, this was it, him and Rarity, he’s going to have to document this experience in his mental folder, and so he began to slowly unbutton his tux and undershirt and peel them off, revealing his own hot pony bod.
“Oh my… I knew you were hot darling, but this is Magnifique,” Rarity complimented.
“Oh you haven’t seen anything yet,” Spike said as he pulled off the rest of his garments and cast them aside.
It was Rarity’s turn to turn red at what she saw and when he walked towards her she knew it was time.
“Well dear, now that we’re in the proper state of dress, let us begin,” Rarity said stepping into the shower and waiting until he got in.
She then turned the water on, it started cold but got warm quickly.
Almost immediately Spike turned her around and pulled her, chest to chest with him.
“On your command milady?” Spike said.
“One second,” Rarity said pulling him in and simply basking in the feeling of his muscles against her body, eventually she looked him in the eye, and kissed him, it wasn’t long before they began.
Fluttershy was pressed against a wall and they kissed furiously.
“Come on big boy, that all you got?” Fluttershy asked.
“I don’t know where this brave side of you came from but I hope it’s staying,” Thunderlane said before biting her neck.
Spike and Rarity were grabbing and stroking eachother in the shower, Spike grabbed Rarity’s butt and she grabbed his in return.
He stroked a hand down her chest and she did to him too.
He pressed her up against the edge of her tub and he pulled away and looked her in the eye.
“I want to do it… but I need your permission,” Spike said, honestly holding back the best he could.
“You truly are the perfect gentleman, take me,” Rarity said before kissing him again.
“As you wish,” Spike said and he began.
As Twilight, Pinkie and Granny Smith made their way to Djinns tent they heard Rarity’s cries of pleasure from outside the Boutique but they continued on.
“Sorry audience, this story is back to this,” Pinkie said.
“Pinkie, no shenanigans we gotta hurry,” Twilight said as they hurried on ahead.
When they entered the market they beelined where the tent was…. Or where it used to be.
“Huh?!” Twilight exclaimed.
“Where is it?!” Granny said running around looking for it.
“Looks like he booked it,” Pinkie said.
“NO! Not with our family stock!” Granny said looking panicked.
“Calm down Granny, we’ll find him,” Twilight said.
“When ah get mah hands on him, ah’m gonna kick him to Tartarus an back,” Granny said begrudgingly.
Outside of Ponyville Djinn made his way towards the next town.
“Well, now that that town has been granted the wishes of, it’s time to take the spoils with me,” Djinn said smiling back at his horde of stuff in his cart, ranging from animals to hundred of apples to other stuff.
“Next town, I’m thinking… ooh there’s this one town nearby called Horseshoe Falls, sounds lovely, and best yet, I’m almost meeting my quota, pretty soon I can leave this equine filled rock behind,” Djinn said with a laugh as he continued on his way.
The next morning Spike woke with a yawn, as he sat up.
It was the best night of sleep he’d ever gotten, and he knows why, he smiled at the nude mare next to him, after some showertime lovin they made their way to the bed and went at least four times before passing out.
Spike was so happy, he’d done it, he’d gotten the mare he’d lusted for for so long, come to think of it though, he’d have to explain this to Twilight and the others, but...
“It’s so worth it,” Spike said as he laid down, hugged Rarity close to himself, and kissed her on the cheek.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Spike jolted a little at the sudden knock and so did Rarity, sitting up, they looked down at themselves and covered up.
“Can you get that dear? I am a tad sore from last night,” Rarity said with a smile.
“As you wish darling,” Spike said as he got up, and wrapped a towel around his waist before opening the door and going downstairs and opening the door.
“Rarity I need to-...Oh… hello?” Twilight said looking at Spike in bewilderment.
“Uh…hi?” Spike said awkwardly.
Fluttershy waved at Thunderlane who was walking out of her cottage with a slight hitch in his stride.
“Come again dear, I had fun,” Fluttershy said with a smile.
“No prob,” Thunderlane said, as soon as she closed the door and he got of eyeshot he laid up against a tree.
“Whew!... never again… she’s insatiable…” Thunderlane said remembering how she wouldn’t let him sleep until she was satisfied… and that was pretty long “Never knew she was that repressed,” Thunderlane limped away.
Spike felt like he was under the gun as he had gotten dressed in an outfit that Rarity had put together for him and he was sitting and Twilight was standing there with her arms crossed.
“Sooo… let me get this straight, you go use the wishing services you heard offhand and use it to turn into a hunky stallion to seduce Rarity?” Twilight asked.
“Yes....” Spike said.
“Spike, what were you thinking? What did he take from you?” Twilight asked.
“What do you mean? He said not to worry about the price,” Spike said.
“This guy is a swindler, he’s granting wishes and stealing things that the person values,” Twilight said.
“What?” Spike said.
“He robbed the Apple Family blind and stole Pinkie’s ability to laugh,” Twilight said.
“That sounds a little farfetch'd, how do you steal laughter?” Spike asked.
“How do you turn a dragon into a pony?” Twilight countered.
“...Point taken, but still, he was really nice, and Rarity and you are still here so maybe I got lucky,” Spike said.
“I don’t know what he took but I’m sure it was something you like,” Twilight said.
“Well unless I’m missing some comics from my bedroom I don’t see what,” Spike said.
“Look here!” Granny said marching up to Spike “That ‘really nice’ rat stole mah families stock an unless we get it back, ah won’t rest,” Granny said.
“Fine fine, I guess me and Rarity can help,” Spike said as he got up and Rarity walked into the room with them.
“Darling don’t be so hard on him, he and I have forged an impeccable bond that I wish to pursue, besides, I am sure he won’t be too hard to find,” Rarity said.
“Ok, we need to gather the others, find Discord and get moving,” Twilight said.
“I’ll get Rainbow!” Pinkie said.
“And we’ll get Fluttershy,” Rarity said.
“Ok, meet over by the castle, asap,” Twilight said and they took their leave.
Spike and Rarity hurried over to Fluttershy’s and ran into a deer hopping about in the front yard.
“Have you seen Fluttershy?” Spike asked.
The deer nodded and pointed at the cottage before waving its forelegs, warning them of the danger before hopping away.
They shrugged and headed to the door and knocked on it.
When the door opened Fluttershy came out in a familiar beige skirt and female tux.
“Yes Rarity?... Oh,” Fluttershy looked at Spike and immediately leaned on the door “And who are you handsome?” Fluttershy asked.
“Fluttershy?” Rarity said taken aback.
“One Spike, two happily in a relationship,” Spike said.
“Aw… well if it doesn’t work out, I can-” Fluttershy flirted before Rarity got in front of her.
“Fluttershy, one I do not appreciate your flirting with my stallion, two, what happened to you? Three nice outfit by the way, and four, we need you to come with us,” Rarity said.
“One, I was being polite, two, I got a confidence boost, three, thanks and four, for what?” Fluttershy answered her responses in order.
“A mad pony is going around granting wishes and taking things, we need to find him,” Rarity said.
“...You mean Mr Djinn?...Sure, I’ll come and find out what is going on… say have either of you seen Angel, he’s vanished,” Fluttershy asked as she followed them.
“No,” They both said.
“Odd…” Fluttershy said.
Pinkie used a jetpack she got from somewhere and flew up to Rainbow’s and saw the athletic pony in Wonderbolt attire.
“Hey Dashie! Why are you in Wonderbolt attire,” Pinkie said.
“Huh?!” RD yelped “Uh… no reason…” Rainbow said suspiciously.
“Rainbow…” Pinkie said finding her sus.
“....Ooooh ok! Fine, I made a wish before he left to become a Wonderbolt Captain and I recently canned Lightning Dust for cheating…. There…” Rainbow said.
“Whaaaa?” Pinkie exclaimed.
“I know… I must seem like a hypocrite, but I got so curious! How was I supposed to know Tank was going to vanish, I needed to take some time off to look for him,” Rainbow said.
“No time Dashie! Castle meeting, now!” Pinkie then took off and Rainbow shrugged before flying after her.
When they got to the castle they entered and saw the others had already gathered.
Twilight’s eyes widened upon seeing Rainbow.
“Rainbow…” Twilight hoped it wasn’t so but Rainbow looked ashamed.
“Sorry Twi… I’m awesome but not made of steel…” Rainbow said sheepishly.
“...Alllright, so anyways, is everypony here?” Twilight asked, everypony including Granny Smith and Spike nodded.
“So… we have a wish-granting stallion sowing chaos and for once he isn’t Discord,” Twilight said.
“How do we know?” Granny asked.
“I’d recognize Discord's magical signature, it’s not him, and yet, oddly similar,” Twilight said.
“And he’s the reason our precious things have vanished?” Spike asked.
“Yes, I’m sorry to say Spike, but I looked around and I think I know what he took,” Twilight said.
“What?” Spike asked.
“Peewee,” Twilight responded.
“Oh…no…” Spike said looking upset hearing that.
“And I assume just like the Apple Family stock other things have vanished too,” Twilight said.
“W-we have no proof he took them,” Fluttershy said.
“Ah have some, he told me himself,” AJ said.
“An he threatened to turn me back into a mare at the edge of her life if we tried to take it back,” Granny added.
“Even if it reverses the wishes, we have to stop him,” That drew unsure looks among the group.
“Girls… I really don’t want to lose this…” Fluttershy said.
“Twi… can’t there be another way?” Spike asked.
“Ah can’t let him re-age Granny Smith,” AJ said.
“I understand you all don’t want to lose this, but we can’t let him get away with-” Suddenly they heard a door open and they turned to see Discord entering through the wall and closing the new door.
“Hello…” Discord said looking upset.
“Discord?” Fluttershy walked up to him and he looked at her, sensing magic on her.
“I see you’ve made use of his services too, how unfortunate,” Discord said.
“Why? I am so much more confident now!” Fluttershy said.
“Indeed,” Discord said before he approached the others and sighed.
“Discord? Why does it sound like you know what’s going on?” Twilight asked.
“And where have you been?” Rainbow asked.
“I know what’s going on because I know him, and I couldn’t come to Ponyville until he left,” Discord said.
“What?” Everyone asked.
“Allow me to explain,” Discord said “I was away for awhile and when I came to visit after paying Sunbutt a visit I crashed into a barrier and found an anti-Chaos barrier he must have put up, I did a bit of digging around and found his work, and right then and there, I found out who was behind it all,” Discord said sitting down.
“Well? Don’t keep us in suspense,” Applejack said.
“His real name is Calligornianadjinn, as you can imagine he shortened it to Djinn, he’s the Spirit of Bartering,” Discord said.
“There’s more spirits than you?” Twilight said.
“Indeed… I’ll tell you something I’ve told nopony else, in the multiverse consisting of other universes like this one, there are countless beings of abstract personifications as you all know, I am the Spirit of Chaos, and Djinn, is the Spirit of Bartering, and while I’ve chosen to settle in this realm, he bounces around every now and then to different dimensions,” Discord said.
“So… he’s an immortal spirit of abstract thought, like you?” Twilight asked.
“Yes, and where I’ve learned to play nice with you harmony goers, he’s only out for his gain, he takes on the form of a being from that realm and he goes around granting their hearts desires under certain conditions, and during the transaction he takes something of equal value to the person, and when he’s granted a thousand wishes, he leaves for another realm, and never returns,” Discord said.
“No… and the stuff he steals?” Spike asked, worried about Peewee.
“Takes it with him, no way to follow him too, in the end you might as well move on,” Discord said.
“We cannot just do nothing!” Applejack said.
“We can and should, you all aren’t ready to face somepony like him,” Discord said.
“Why do ya say that? You scared of him?” Granny asked.
“Yes,” Discord said and everypony gasped.
“Why?” Twilight asked.
“Because he’s as powerful as I am, not to mention I cannot go near him or interfere with his business or I will face erasure, it’s spirit law,” Discord said.
“Spirit law?” Twilight asked.
“We spirits cannot interact, influence, or intervene with eachother, or the almighty Spirit of Light will erase us… don’t ask who he is, that’s a whole different story,” Discord said.
“Oook, then how can we stop him?” Twilight said.
“If you're really so persistent, the only way I can think of is tricking him, he cannot deny granting wishes or take more than what is asked for, he also can take away but he’d have to give up what he took,” Discord said.
“Well, let’s get moving then,” Twilight said.
“Wait, you're really going to confront him?” Discord asked.
“Yes, because we’re not going to let him leave with his loot, we’ll get those refunds,” Rainbow said.
“Girls…” Fluttershy looked unsure.
“Your all certain?” Discord asked teleporting in front of them.
“Yes,” They said.
“Then the most I can do is send you to where he is, the rest is on you,” Discord said.
“Ok,” Twilight said and Discord created a portal and gestured for them to go through.
“Thank you,” Twilight said as they all went in.
“Good luck,” Discord said closing the portal before walking away, he paused and looked in the direction where he sent them and wondered what he should do.
They arrived in Horseshoe Falls and were surprised to see that this place was as out of sorts as Ponyville.
The waterfalls were pouring cherry soda, the clouds were raining chocolate and there was a pony with a horde of chickens following her.
“This isn’t like the last time I was here,” Applejack said.
“Let’s get lookin', we gotta find that Djinn thing before he causes any more problems,” Granny said and the group nodded and they ran ahead.
“Rares…” Spike asked.
“Yes?” Rarity asked.
“Is… it possible we can still have something if I turn back?” Spike asked.
“Of course dear, It will take some time until you are old enough, but I am willing to accept you as a dragon,” Rarity said.
“Thank you,” Spike said happily.
As the group rounded a corner they saw a line of ponies rounding a corner.
Twilight ran up to a stallion in the back.
“Sir! We’re looking for a stallion who grants wishes,” Twilight said.
“Yeah, I don’t know who he is, but this is the line to meet with him,” The stallion said.
“We gotta stop him,” Twilight said running ahead but the stallion shouted after her.
“Hey! Wait in line!” He said and the other ponies clamored too but they ignored them.
Upon arriving at the front of the line they saw a mare skipping out of the tent with a comically large ring.
“Hey!” A burly stallion got in their way and they paused.
“Official princess business,” Twilight said.
“Well wait your turn, I got a wish to make too,” The stallion said.
“You wait!” Fluttershy got in front of them and stared at the stallion with her confidence-enhanced stare.
“F-fine… but make it quick,” He stepped out of the way and they entered despite the protests of the wish-hungry ponies.
“NEXT!” Djinn called before he saw the group enter “Oh great… you guys again, one at a time please,” Djinn said.
“Djinn! It’s over!” Twilight said.
“Give back our apples!” Granny shouted.
“Sheesh, never knew somepony could be so irate over fruit,” Djinn chuckled.
“You scammed us, I want Peewee back!” Spike demanded.
“You're complaining over a fancy chicken in comparison to the beautiful mare you wanted?” Djinn said.
“Djinn! Take this seriously, you’ve robbed the good ponies of Equestria,” Twilight said.
“Nono, I bartered with them, I give I take, it’s who I am, not my fault they couldn’t read the sign outside,” Djinn pointed to a sign saying ‘Wishes with a price’
“You little-” Granny closed in and punched him in the face before anypony could stop her.
And her fist glanced off his face without even hurting him.
“Huh?” Granny said.
“Back off before I make you a crone again,” Djinn threatened.
“Look, we just want what you took back,” Twilight said.
“Not how it works, to give I have to get, and right now, what I’d like, is for you guys to ‘get’ lost!” Djinn said standing up.
“We know what you are, The Spirit of Bartering, and we can’t let this thievery go unpunished,” Twilight said.
“Again, not thievery, bartering ..” He emphasized.
“Call it whatever you want it’s still stealing,” Twilight said.
“Well if you all want a refund I can give that, but I gotta take my gifts back then,” Djinn said.
“NO!” Fluttershy and Spike and AJ said before they could stop themselves.
“Guys!” Twilight said.
“I’m... sorry Twilight, but we need to find another way, I can’t… I tried but I can’t lose this!” Fluttershy said getting in front of Twilight.
“I don’t want to miss out on being able to bear children with Rarity,” Spike said crying and Rarity looked touched.
“If Granny goes back to how she was she’ll die!” AJ said.
“B-but guys,” Twilight said.
“Looks like your friends have decided for you, now skedaddle, I only have one more wish to grant before I can leave,” Djinn said.
“One?” Twilight said.
“Yeah, who wants to be the last?” Djinn asked.
“Nopony until you give back what you’ve taken!” Rainbow said.
“Easy there Wonderbolt Captain, or I’ll have you busted down to janitor in a heartbeat,” Djinn chuckled and Rainbow looked hesitant.
“Stop intimidating my friends!” Twilight said.
“Face it Twilight, they love what they have now, sure it came at a small price, but you’ll be smashing their dreams if you force me to refund them,” Djinn said before leaning in “That’s not something a friend would do, is it?” Djinn said mockingly.
“At least give me my laugh back!” Pinkie pleaded.
“Even at the cost of your kazoo?” Djinn asked.
“Yes,” Pinkie said.
“Okay then,” Djinn then pulled out his crystal ball and Pinkie put her hand on it and it glowed, her kazoo vanished and she felt the tightness in her throat alleviate.
“Somepony say something funny,” Pinkie demanded.
“Um… Flapjacks?” AJ tried.
‘Hahaha! I love that word… Hey! I laughed!” Pinkie said happily.
“Hallelujah to you, so unless any of you want to make a wish, beat it,” Djinn demanded.
“Not until-” Suddenly Djinn slammed his hand down on the table startling them.
“I can so easily rob you all blind of my gifts, so leave now or else,” Djinn said sounding angry.
“NO! I-” Suddenly Fluttershy grabbed Twilight and pulled her away.
“Fluttershy?!” Twilight cried.
“I’m sorry Twilight, but without confidence, I can’t be happy in the end!” Fluttershy cried with tears in her eyes.
“Spike!” Twilight called to her brother to help her but he just remained looking at the ground.
“AJ?” Twilight turned and saw AJ turning to leave as well.
“I’m sorry, ah can’t lose Granny,” AJ said.
“No…” Twilight said sorrowfully.
“Have a good day you all,” Djinn said before calling for the next customer… and then Twilight managed to break free of Fluttershy and she stood straight before firing a blast at Djinn hitting him and sending him flying into the side of his tent.
“Twilight!?” They all cried.
“Don’t worry, I just stunned him, now we can get Celestia here and-” Suddenly magic shot up in the air and he manifested out of the tent as a giant blue humanoid with dark blue eyes, the ponies in line ran away in fear.
“Whoa…” Rainbow said looking at him.
“Heh, you shouldn’t have done that…” Djinn said with a chuckle.
“So… that’s your true form?” Twilight asked nervously.
“Yeah, I figured it freaks ponies out so I decided on an equally handsome pony form, guess I gotta finish my work here in another town after I am done with you all,” Djinn said before he slammed a hand at Twilight.
“Run!” Twilight said taking to the air and she avoided being crushed.
The others ran around his footsteps as he walked after Twilight swatting at her.
“Stop! You’ll hurt somepony!” Twilight cried.
“Like you're one to talk!” Djinn said, throwing a punch and Twilight swooped under it.
"I was only trying to- OOOF!" Twilight grunted as he managed to glance her with another blow.
“C’mon Granny!” AJ said and Granny nodded and ran alongside AJ they double-bucked him in the back of his foot.
“Whoa!” Djinn said as his foot was kicked out from beneath him, he stumbled back and Rainbow circled above and she dashed to his head and gave him a buck in the face making him fall down.
Before anypony could think of restraining him he managed to get to his feet again and he charged a beam in his mouth before firing it at Rainbow Dash.
“WHOA!” Rainbow dodged around the blast and took cover.
“Rarity get to cover!” Spike said.
‘No, we face this together!” Rarity said and they both fired magic blasts at Djinn who tanked them and he swung his foot kicking a cart at them.
“Aaah!” Rarity cried and Spike tackled her out of the way and they narrowly avoided being crushed.
“Pests, the lot of you,” Djinn said before Pinkie who was on a rooftop fired herself out of her party cannon and crashed against his face made him stumble a little.
“Grrah!” Djinn reached up and grabbed her before throwing her at the ground, hard, Twilight managed to catch her and avoid a beam that threatened to vaporize her.
“Your messing with my business, GET LOST!” Djinn said swatting at them.
Fluttershy flew up to his face and gave him the stare.
“Huh?” Djinn said looking at this.
“Stop this! We can still work something-” Fluttershy tried but he just started laughing.
“Isn’t that adorable, this is how it’s done,” He then stared right back at her and fired a beam from his eyes and Fluttershy had to dodge.
“WHOOAA”! Fluttershy cried as she hit a wall and fell to the ground.
“Enough of this!” Djinn suddenly drew a spell circle in the air and he clapped his hands.
“What’s he doing?!” Rainbow asked.
“I don’t know!” Twilight said.
Her answer came in the form of a magical explosion that sent her and everyone flying.
“AAAHH!” Everyone yelled as he blew up the area.
As they all lay there groaning in pain the giant shrunk to their height and walked up to them.
“Has it sunk in yet? You can’t win, so it seems I will have to grant some more wishes as the previous wishes become null if the subject expires because of me, ah well, it’s just a few more,” Djinn shrugged before raising his hand and creating a giant sphere of magic.
“No!” Twilight groaned getting to her hooves and trying to block him from attacking her friends.
“What’s that going to do?” Djinn asked mockingly.
“I won’t let you hurt anypony else,” Twilight said.
“Hmm… don’t care, die,” Djinn said getting ready to cast his magic sphere… before another magic sphere blasted his away into the sky where it detonated harmlessly.
“Hmm?” Djinn asked before seeing Discord land in front of his friends.
“Spirit of Chaos?... What the heck do you think you're doing?” Djinn asked.
“Protecting my friends,” Discord looked back at Fluttershy and his face softened before he looked at Djinn.
“You… do get I’m a spirit too, and the consequences?” Djinn said.
“I do…” Discord said.
“You old softie… this is why I don’t form connections,” Djinn sighed before approaching.
“What will it take for you to get out of my way?” Djinn said.
“You leaving, and giving back what you took,” Discord said.
“Man, the Equestrians really did a number on your ruthlessness, one of the reasons I want to book it from this place, you on the other hand will be transported to the spirit of light in approximately one minute if you don’t leave now,” Djinn said.
“Then let’s make this quick, let’s barter,” Discord said approaching him.
“Oooh, this’ll be good,” Djinn said summoning his crystal ball, but Discord slapped it out of his hand.
“No using the fake magic prop, use your actual powers,” Discord said.
“Oh come on it’s fun,” Djinn said but Discord didn’t budge.
“Now,” Discord said.
“Fine, what do you want?” Djinn asked.
“Read my mind,” Discord said.
“And in exchange?” Djinn said.
“Read it again,” Discord said.
Djinn's eyes widened “Your kidding… you wouldn’t” Djinn said honestly surprised.
“Do it,” Discord said.
“...Fine, I suppose this is a fair transaction, consider this barter, completed,” They shook hands and it was completed and a flash of light occurred before Djinn turned to the others and waved “Well, that’s one thousand, see ya never losers,” Djinn said with a laugh before turning to Discord “And see you never as well,” Djinn said before he disappeared in a flash of light.
“Discord?” Twilight asked getting up and seeing Discord turn to her.
“Well, problem solved… goodbye now,” Discord said before he vanished in a puff of smoke.
“DISCORD!” Fluttershy cried.
Discord was floating in a void and he looked up to see The Spirit of Light staring down at him as a giant ball of light.
“Discord… it seems you never learn…” The Spirit of Light said.
“I would do it again if it meant saving her,” Discord said staring at the being that could end him in the blink of an eye cooly.
“Even risking erasure for breaking the rules of the universe?” The Spirit of Light asked.
“Always, I’m the chaotic one remember?” Discord said.
“And… that is where I feel conflicted in this choice,” The Light said.
“Conflicted?” Discord said.
“The reason I never allow Abstract Spirits to meet is that it could cause calamity if they were to influence eachother or heaven forbid, team up, and cause the balance to go out of order, but you, you did it for the greater good, a negative abstract doing great things, that is where the confliction is, do I reward or punish this behavior?” The Spirit of Light said.
“I dunno,” Discord said.
“That is so like you,” The Light chuckled “I suppose all things considered that part of that universe would fall into chaos without the effects of your wish, but that is your calling, to contradict in the end, and so I withhold my judgment,” The Light said.
“You do?... Doooesss that mean I can come home?” Discord said.
“So long as you continue to keep the balance in your own way, or we may have to talk again,” The Light said.
“I’m glad, what about Djinn?” Discord asked.
“I may have a talk with him on dimension-hopping so much, this is his fifth encounter with another spirit, I fear he’s becoming a troublemaker, perhaps he needs to be stripped of his power for a while,” The Light said before turning its attention to Discord.
“You may leave, but stay away from other spirits next time,” The Light said.
“Ok,” Discord bowed before a flash overtook him and he was gone.
two years later
Twilight ran through Ponyville at a brisk pace, she had to be there.
“I hope I’m not too late,” Twilight said as she ran past several ponies and she made it to the hospital, upon entering she found a nurse.
“Nurse! I’m looking for Rarity’s room!” Twilight said urgently.
“Right this way princess,” The nursepony said leading her to the place.
As they arrived Twilight saw a room and calming herself she entered.
And saw the others surrounding Rarity on a bed, getting closer she saw Rarity cradling a foal.
“Aww, filly or colt?” Twilight asked.
“Colt,” Spike said and Twilight spun to see him there.
“Oh Spike I’m so happy for you,” Twilight hugged the stallion.
“I must say the procedure was pretty stressful, Gold Rush here nearly had to wait in the next hallway just so he wouldn’t have to listen to the screams,” Fluttershy said with a chuckle.
“Shy…” Gold Rush said embarrassedly.
“Glad I could get time off the Wonderbolts to come here,” Rainbow said petting the cheek of the tiny purple and darker purple foal and he tried to grab her finger.
“Ah hope ah’m not too late,” Granny Smith said as she walked in carrying two big presents all by herself.
“Got here just in time Granny Smith,” AJ said.
“Ah’ve said it once and Ah’ll say it a dozen more times, it’s great to be young again,” Granny laughed.
“Ah know,” AJ said knowing she was still in that ‘basking in her youth’ stage.
“Oh thank you all for coming here, after me and Spike got married a few months ago we’ve been waiting for our own little treasure,” Rarity said cooing to her and Spikes baby.
“And it’s thanks to Discord that this happened,” Pinkie said turning to Discord who appeared out of nowhere and he seemed pleased.
“Well I can safely say this will be a change in our day to day life,” Discord said.
“Perhaps, but I will be more than ready to handle it, isn’t that right Goldie?” Fluttershy said hugging his arm.
“We’d be happy to babysit occasionally,” Gold said.
“For free?” Discord asked.
“You wish!” Fluttershy giggled.
A month later
Twilight walked home with Spike at her side, she saw Filthy Rich and his giant Piggy Bank following him.
She saw Cheerilee giving flying lessons to some pegasus foals.
And Carrot Top actually replenished her carrot stock for the tenth time with her bottomless bag of carrots as she just ran out.
“Can you still believe Discord risked his existence for us to wish that Djinn would return everything he took without undoing the wishes?” Spike said nuzzling Peewee on his shoulder, he’d grown into a true phoenix this past year.
“Yeah, he’s proven he’s changed, I am personally just glad he got let off so easy,” Twilight said as they entered the castle and Twilight turned to Spike.
“Spike? Can you take a letter please?” Twilight asked.
“On it,” Spike said picking up the paper and quill.
“Dear Celestia.
Sometimes we may wish for a better life, but in the end, we’ve got to work for it, don’t let that scare you, if anything, it feels more rewarding in the end, and you can have what you wish, if you just try hard enough,” Twilight said.
“Love Twilight…” Spike said before handing it to her and she teleported it, their new system now that he was a stallion.
“You know, Djinn was a jerk but he really helped Everpony out in the end,” Twilight said.
“The irony,” Spike said.
“I just hope Discord gets let off the hook by Djinn soon,” Twilight said.
“I wonder how he’s doing right now?” Spike wondered
Discord arrived in a dimension with bipedal simians, disguised as one of them and he walked into a shop titled ‘Wishes with a Price’
“I’m here…” Discord sighed.
“Ooh goodie, the crystal balls are over there, and be careful I spilled coffee on them yesterday,” Djinn said from the far side of the store, so they weren’t too close to break the rules again.
“Just three more weeks of this and I am done,” Discord grumbled getting a rag and wiping them down.
“I’m sure he’s alright, now why don’t you head back to your wife and son, I’m sure they miss you,” Twilight said.
“Sure thing,” Spike said taking his leave as Twilight sat with a book.
“Shame I didn’t get a wish, I would have wished for the rarest tome in the world or something, eh I guess next time,” Twilight said, reclining to enjoy her current book, before hearing Pinkie coming in.
“Twiiiilight!” Pinkie called.
“Or maybe I’d wish to have peace and quiet once and awhile…” Twilight sighed.

Fluttershy and Gold Rush did get back together when Fluttershy learned from her friends to not forget to implement kindness as much as confidence.
Discord's wish could be specifically stated that he wished that 'Djinn would let his friends off the hook and give them back their stuff while letting them keep their wishes' and in return, he would shine Djinn's crystal balls for a year and a few months, it's sad for him but he's almost done...
