Once upon a time there were four entity's. Each of them held the power over one of the basic forms of aether. Aether is the fuel for magic. Those four were a beacon of light, and were admired by every single person. In time, however, arrogance took over one of them. She thought she was far superior to the others, and that her will was an absolute law. This self-proclaimed god took up arms against the other three. The result of this was a war that raged on for twenty years. In the final battle, the four entity's faced each other. The renegade vs. the other three. In an attempt to safe the world the three entity's sacrificed themselves to imprison their former comrade.

Now a thousand years later the commanders of the renegade entity are awakening. They will do anything in their power to release their leader, so that they can rule the planet once again. In the shadows a secret organization rises to prevent this.

At the same time a new face appears in pony ville. As time goes by this new girl turns out to be of vital importance in the organizations effort to defeat the commanders.
