Turquoise woke up and got ready for school. After changing into her uniform she grabbed her peacoat and ran downstairs. After eating breakfast she saw Haruka outside waiting for her and got on behind Haruka. After arriving at school Turquoise and Haruka were on their way to class when Autumn approached them.

“Hey Turquoise, we have a crisis,” Autumn said frantically.

“What is it?” Turquoise asked.

“Sylvia is out sick so she can’t do tonight’s game with us,” Autumn said.

“Don't we have subs that could fill in for her?’” Turquoise asked.

“Normally we do but unfortunately they got caught trying to deface Canterlot High and got suspended until after winter break so we are in a bit of a bind,” Autumn said.

“I will see if anyone I know wants to fill in, “Turquoise said.

“Thank you, you're a lifesaver. Meet us in the gym after school so we can go over everything,” Autumn said before continuing on to class. After the conversation Turquoise ran into Sapphire in the hall.

“Hey, Turquoise, how are you today?” Sapphire asked.

“At the moment, in deep thought,” Turquoise replied.

“About what?” Sapphire asked.

“Sylvia is out sick and all of our substitutes are suspended and will most likely get cut from the team when they get back, so we are a girl short for tonight’s big game,” Turquoise said.

“I can do it, I always wanted to join the cheer squad,” Sapphire said.

“I will have to discuss it with Ursula but I will keep you in mind,” Turquoise said. As the day went on Turquoise asked all her female friends and other girls she knew but they were either busy with prior engagements or were not interested. As soon as lunch rolled around Turquoise joined her friends and was feeling nervous. .

“Hey Turquoise have you had any luck finding a fill in for Sylvia?” Fleur asked.

“Other than Sapphy no one else seems interested,” Turquoise said.

“You do know she is still a boy right?” Lemon asked.

“I know but right now she is all I got, and besides I believe she can do it,” Turquoise said. Turquoise was feeling less nervous and was looking forward to the big game. As soon as the final bell rang Turquoise made her way to the gym to meet the rest of the Cheerleaders and was surprised to see them waiting for her.

“Well Turq, did you find us a replacement? “Ursala said..

“I found someone but quick warning they are a crossdresser, What is your stance on that, Girls?” Turquoise asked.

“If you are vouching for them then I will accept them,” Ursula said.

“Now is not the time to be picky so whoever they are bring them in,” Autumn said.

“Very well, Sapphire, are you ready?” Turquoise asked.

“I've been ready since last year,” Sapphire said, coming out in one of the cheerleader uniforms from the school.

“Where did you get that?” Ursula asked.

“This was my big sister’s uniform when she attended crystal prep,” Sapphire said.

“Well it looks good on you but now comes the important part, practice,” Autumn said. The girls got into it and after an hour it was time for the big football game against Canterlot High which was taking place on Crystal Prep’s field. The girls were now getting changed and turquoise was beginning to feel strange. As soon as she finished changing she began to feel a kind of pain she never felt before.

“ Are you feeling ok Turquoise?” Autumn asked.

“ MOTHER OF PEARL THIS HURTS SO MUCH WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?” Turquoise shouted like she was in great pain.

“I was afraid of this Turquoise you're having your first period,” Haruka said surprising everyone.

“Haruka? Where did you come from?” Ursala asked.

“I came to wish my love luck out there but I’m not sure it’s a good idea for her to go out there in this state,” Haruka said.

“Why is this happening now, shouldn't it have happened long ago?” Alex asked.

“I’m guessing you must be new here. You see Turquoise was not always the girl you see before you. She was originally male and had surgery before summer vacation started so the fact it started now doesn’t surprise me,” Autumn said.

“Turquoise babe, listen you're going to be fine, this is natural just ride it out and in a few days it will be over,” Haruka said trying to keep Turquoise calm.

“Yeah we all went through it so don't worry we will all be here for you,” Alex said. The game was about to start and Turquoise along with the rest of the cheerleaders went to the field to watch. Meanwhile in the stands, Bullet and Ruby were watching the game along with Minako and Toshiro. Ruby noticed Turquoise was looking a bit off. She tried to tell Bullet but he was more focused on the game.

“Come on Shadowbolts you can do better than this, “Bullet shouted. Haruka returned to her seat and Ruby pulled her to the side to ask about Turquoise. Haruka whispered something in her ear and Ruby looked like she witnessed something gruesome. As soon as halftime began Turquoise and the rest of the Cheerleaders took the field and performed.

“ Give us an SHA,” Alex shouted prompting the crowd to follow.

“ Give us a DOW,” Turquoise shouted before the pain kicked in again.

“ DOW,” The crowd shouted.

“ Give us a BOLTS,” Ursula shouted prompting the crowd to do the same.

“ What does that spell?” All the girls shouted.

“ SHADOWBOLTS,” The crowd shouted before Canterlot High’s Cheer Team took their turn. After half-time ended, Ruby decided to go to the locker room to check on Turquoise. As soon as she got there she saw Turquoise looking like she was in great pain.

“Turquoise dear I know you’re scared and confused right now but let me assure you this is natural,” Ruby said.

“Easy for you to say this never happened to you,” Turquoise said.

“It happens with all women I remember my first menstrual cycle I was so furious and angry my classmates practically barricaded themselves in their classrooms just to stay out of my way,” Ruby said.

“Wow that sounds scary, mine was sad when people insulted my music,” Serena said.

“And don't get me started on how I was so damn happy I could not feel pain when I fell down,” Autumn said.

“What kind of feelings are you having now Turquoise?” Ursala asked.

“Mosty fear and nervousness,” Turquoise replied.

“So basically the kind of feelings you had when you first came to crystal prep?” Autumn said.

“Feels like it,” Turquoise said.

“Well you don't have to worry, we are here for you now let’s watch the game and cheer our boys on,” Sapphire said. The girls arrived on the field to watch and suddenly Turquoise began to feel cold.

“Did the temperature just drop suddenly,” Turquoise asked. Alex checked her phone and confirmed Turquoise’s question.

“You're right it was fifty-two awhile ago and now it’s forty-five,” Alex said. Turquoise was on her way back to the locker room with the others to get their coats. Just as Turquoise was about to catch up with the others a boy with red skin, an orange buzz cut and an outfit similar to Sunset’s original outfit came and punched her so hard she lost consciousness.

“I’m not letting Crystal Prep beat us again so let’s see them keep fighting without their princess,” The boy said before he picked Turquoise up and carried her away. The acoustics in the hall alerted the others and they saw what was happening. The girls ran to the stands to try and find help. As they ran they bumped into the Canterlot High Cheer Squad who looked concerned for others.

“You girls look like you saw something bad happen,” Rainbow said.

“That’s because something bad did happen. Some guy with a buzz cut and leather jacket kidnapped Turquoise and in her fragile state we don't know what will happen,” Lemon said.

“Did you say buzz cut and leather jacket?” Sunset asked.

“We did,” Sunny said.

“Sounds like Blaze, he must be sore about us losing to you guys,” Rainbow said.

“But why kidnap Turquoise? She has nothing to do with it?” Alex asked.

“Blaze is a strategist who analyzes his opponents and then exploits their weaknesses, in this case, he must have kidnapped Turquoise thinking the Shadowbolts would lose focus and lose,” Sunset said.

“What are we going to do? We can't just leave and go after him we are in the middle of a game,” Ursala said.

“I will go after him, you girls try and keep our team going,” Haruka said.

“Thank you, Haruka, we could really use her,” Alex said. Meanwhile in front of the remains of the wonder colt statue Blaze reached his hand in to make sure the portal was open and it was.

“So long and good riddance Princess,” Blaze said before throwing Turquoise into the portal. As soon as Blaze disposed of Turquoise he drove back to the game to try and fabricate his alibi even though there were witnesses.

Meanwhile inside the Castle of Friendship Twilight was busy reading when suddenly the portal began to activate. Twilight was expecting either Sunset or some hostile force but was surprised to see a blue pegasus with long red hair, a red tail styled like a lightning bolt and a cutie mark of a red crescent moon with a gold die get flung out unconscious and crashed into one of the bookshelves which caused an avalanche of books to rain down and the heavier ones to break some parts of the portal.

“Spike, come quick and help me get this pony to one of the bedrooms,” Twilight said before Twilight levitated Turquoise onto her back. Spike arrived just in time to help Twilight get Turquoise in bed so she could question her when she wakes up. Minutes later Turquoise began to regain consciousness and noticed she was not at Crystal Prep anymore.

“Glad to see your finally awake,” Twilight said.

“A talking pony, how is that possible?” Turquoise asked.

“Calm down, miss. I will explain everything but first you may want to see yourself before things get more awkward,” Twilight said. Twilight levitated a full length mirror so Turquoise could see what happened to her. Turquoise started to look freaked out by turning into a pony until Twilight calmed her down.

“Your in Equestria and you were sent through the mirror,” Twilight explained.

“Is there a way for me to go back to my world?” Turquoise asked.

“You could just go back through the portal but unfortunately when you crashed into one of the shelves in my library an avalanche of books bury it and the atlases of other countries I had smashed some of the parts of the portal so I’m afraid you're stuck here until I can fix it,” Twilight said.

“Well what am I supposed to do until then?” Turquoise asked.

“You could have a look around Ponyville,” Twilight suggested. Turquoise tried to move but due to her new form she fell down instantly. But first try standing on all fours. We ponies are quadrupeds so we don't walk on two legs like you humans do,” Turquoise tried what Twilight told her to and she suddenly got used to moving. We can cover flying later but first introduction, My Name Is Twilight Sparkle,”

“I’m Turquoise Dusk and you look a lot like one of my friends from back home,” Turquoise said.

“I assume you go to Canterlot High?” Twilight asked.

“Crystal Prep actually but I do have friends there who I can guess are also worried about me,” Turquoise explained. Turquoise explained everything she remembered before waking up in her castle.

“This guy must have thought without you there the Shadowbolts would be forced to forfeit the game to look for you,” Twilight theorized.

Meanwhile back in the human world Haruka found Blaze and questioned him.

“All right you Sunset wannabe what did you do to my Girlfriend?” Haruka shouted.

“I have no idea what you're talking about I was right here the whole time,” Blaze said trying to look innocent.

“Liar you took Turquoise, we saw you do it,” Alex said as she came with Sunset.

“Even if I did do it, where would I possibly hide her?” Blaze asked only for Sunset to grab his arm and use her power. Sunset saw Blaze throwing Turquoise into the back of his car and driving toward CHS. After pulling over in front of the school he dragged Turquoise in front of the portal and threw her in.

“You monster that portal was to be left alone, no one is allowed in there without permission,” Sunset shouted.

“Well it's too late for you to do anything. I threw her so hard I wouldn't be surprised if she is dead,” Blaze said. Suddenly Sunset’s journal began to glow, and she opened it.

“Dear Sunset, I have your friend Turquoise Dusk with me. Don't worry she is just fine but it will be a while before she can come home because the portal was damaged, and it will be a few days before I can fix it so please don't worry. Your Friend Twilight. Sunset shared the good news, and everyone was relieved. As for Blaze, Alex came back with the principles of both schools and security, the latter escorting Blaze off the premises. As soon as the drama was over everyone went back to watching the game just in time to watch the quarterback from Crystal Prep make the winning play.

“And that's it folks after an intense match between both teams our boys from Crystal Prep won the chance to go to state,” The announcer said. The team was celebrating and somehow did not get into it much knowing that Turquoise was missing.

“Don't worry boys, Turquoise is safe and will be ready to cheer you on for state,” Principal Cadence said.

“Principal Cadence, where did you come from?” Autumn asked.

“I was watching the game the whole time and Sunset filled me in on everything,” Cadence said.

“So, you knew about the kidnapping?” Alex asked.

“Sadly, yes and after asking Blaze about his role in this he confessed to the cheerleaders who were currently suspended putting him up to this since they felt like ruining the big game as payback, so we have some open spots on our team since I removed them from the team,” Cadence said.
