Luna held Leah for a time, letting the girl sob her heart out over her uncle's death, while Kormac and Lyndon caught up with them by using the teleportation device that Leah had used to get back to Wortham, in time to knock the Butcher back, and only stopped when Leah was ready to go.

"Okay, I'm... I'm ready to move forward. We have to rescue the Stranger, and then stop Maghda and her master, the Lesser Evil known as Belial." Leah stated, allowing Luna to understand what was going on and fully understand what needed to be done, even though this was an interesting turn of events in Luna's eyes, since she wasn't actually expecting to clash with one of the remaining two Lords of Hell, "Maghda admitted that she wanted the sword for her master, named him even, before... well, you know."

"You don't have to tell me that twice, save yourself the pain of remembering. At least we have our objectives." Luna said, to which she looked at the path that was leading out of the ruins of Wortham, as the Butcher had ruined the village before he clashed with her, where it looked like there was a mountain passage that cut through the insides of the mountain, only for her to glance at Leah again, "I suspect that they went to Leoric's old manor, far away from New Tristram. Leah, what do you think?"

"I would agree. I'm not sure how I did it, but when I chased Maghda away I saw into her mind, and she was definitely going to her base in the Highlands." Leah replied, though she was glad that Luna wasn't chasing her away or telling her to go home, the alicorn knew that she wanted to hurt the Coven and get revenge for her uncle's death, causing her to ready her bow as she turned to face the other exit.

"So... we're not going to talk about why Leah has a tail now?" Lyndon asked, following behind the pair as they headed for the gate that would bring them to the mountain passage, while at the same time Kormac walked by him with his weapons at the ready for whatever challenges might be in their way next.

"Friend, we're traveling with Luna, an unknown being that's unlike anything we've seen before... Leah having a tail is the least interesting thing right now." Kormac stated, because Luna's unique nature was what he was more focused on, even though he was a little interested in why Leah had a tail and suspected that they would learn about it in due time, but for now most of his focus was on avenging Deckard and rescuing the Stranger.

Luna and Leah continued out into the open while their friends talked, where they found more cultists gathering the tall dark warrior creatures to fight them, where Luna drew the angelic sword from it's scabbard, which seemed to have formed after the blade was remade, and sliced through the dark warriors with ease. Leah, on the other hand, released flaming arrows at her foes and let them rush through the air, each slamming into the cultists without missing a beat, blasting each one of her targets into oblivion as the flaming arrows detonated on them. Kormac wasn't surprised by this at all, Luna was a beast on the battlefield and Leah was a girl dealing with her anger, but he still found that he and Lyndon were able to deal with some of the missed enemies, allowing them to clear the area as they walked up the stone carved path. There was also a short stone bridge connecting this area to the cave's location, one guarded by more cultists, though the group wasted no time on them, leading to the cultists being slaughtered in no time as they entered the cave.

What they discovered was that it was a web infested area with a massive amount of spider eggs and spiders, some small that could be stepped on and plenty of large ones that looked like they would kill a single person each, though this time Leah just stepped forward as she raised her bow.

"I'll take care of this." Leah said, where it was easy to tell that she was still angry over her uncle's death, even though Luna knew it would be some time before she calmed down and actually dealt with her emotions in a healthier manner, and each of her arrows burned with her anger.

Luna watched as each arrow burst into a volley of flaming bolts that were directed all around the area, where Leah set fire to all of the spider eggs and spiders that were blocking the way forward, and when the young lady started to move Luna and the others followed. Their job right now was to take out the rest of the survivors that were in the cave, killing the spiders that Leah missed, while at the same time the smaller spiders scurried around while on fire, very clearly in pain, while they also set the webs on fire. It wasn't long before everything in the cave was on fire, where Luna shielded them from the smoke with her magic, though she found that Leah seemed to be following the tug of whatever magic she had used to peer into Maghda's mind earlier, a spell their foe didn't know about since it was still active. Of course one could argue that the witch did know of the spell and had come through here to try and get them killed, but she failed to account for Leah's power and the burning anger that was fueling her right now, and right now Leah was ensuring they took Maghda down as fast as possible.

Thanks to Leah doing that they were able to find a large chamber that seemed to be the home of the spider that was mother to all of the other spiders, a queen spider, and sure enough they discovered a large beast that was twice their size resting right in the center of the area.

"There's someone trapped in the webs behind the queen spider." Kormac commented, which appeared to be a woman that was dressed as a traveling magic user, who no doubt came into here for something or was hiding from someone, though her presence meant that Leah couldn't just fire an arrow through the queen spider, not without risking burning the lady alive if the spider moved out of the way.

"That's true. Luna, can you shield her as well?" Leah asked, showing them that part of the anger was already burning off, she was thinking more like her normal self, where Luna nodded her head and did so without delay, while at the same time using a bit more of her magic to make sure no one was harmed by what was going to happen next.

The next flaming arrow that Leah loosed slammed into the side of the spider queen, as she seemed to realize that she had more people to feast on, and when it made contact the spider seemed to shriek in pain for a time before collapsing in a heap on the side of the chamber, allowing Luna to tear the webbing apart to free the woman.

"I... thank you, for saving me." the woman said, totally shocked and surprised by what she had just seen, which was far due to the fact that Leah's magic was more potent when she was running on rage, though they did move through the passage that was behind the area that the woman had been trapped in, stepping out into a flat area that was on one side of a stone bridge, with their destination on the other side of the bridge, "I will admit, being down there was terrible... but what would bring the four of you to a place like that cave?"

"We are seeking a Coven who wronged us, and the trail lead to that cave." Luna replied, which was the truth, especially since she and the others could see Leoric's manor in the distance, a place Leah was staring at while they stood there, confirming that Maghda and the Stranger had to be up there, "They've taken someone important to us hostage, and we're trying to get him back."

"Ugh, those people... well, they were dragging some man towards Leoric's old manor... but you'll have some trouble getting up to it." the woman stated, almost as if she hadn't seen how Leah had slaughtered the spider queen on her own, in a couple of seconds after the creature noticed their arrival, but none of them felt like correcting her right now, especially since the woman seemed eager to get out of the area and do something else with her life, "You see, I'm not proud to admit this, but I did steal the staff of a powerful khazra shaman and they chased me into the caves... I'm not sure if they'll let you pass if you recover it from my wagon and offer it to them, but you might be able to convince them to let you through."

"Considering what we saw of the khazra in the Fields of Misery, I doubt they'll let us through... but you never know, stranger things have happened." Kormac remarked, which was due to the arrival of a heroine in the form of Luna, thanks to the fact that she was someone who wielded magic that they haven't seen before and had a form that was beyond anything that they had seen in the past, so with Luna around he had no idea what to expect.

The woman nodded her head before taking a seat on the stonework of the walkway they were on, apparently needing time to think of what she was going to do next, though Luna made her way down to the stone bridge and started to cross it, since she didn't want to waste time. Of course everyone else followed after her, where they discovered that there was a few foe for them to fight, large moths that seemed to have the power to control lightning, enough to coat their bodies in the element based on what everyone was seeing right now. Such a thing gave Luna a chance to use the angelic weapon again, the sword just slicing through her foes with ease, as it was lighter than most of the weapons she had used in the past and it told her that she could use it more like her own weapon, given what she could do with Nightfell. Once the moths were dealt with the group crossed the bridge that was in front of them and found their way to the large Highlands that were between them and where the manor was located, and from what they could tell their enemies were khazra, the savage beasts, and more of the angry large trees.

With that in mind the group found that it wasn't hard for them to cut and clear their way through the Highlands, Leah and Lyndon loosing bolts and arrows at the enemies that were far from them while Luna and Kormac cut their way through this place, just like they did previously. They knew they were in the right place when they spotted some cultists trying to either enslave the khazra or empower them to new heights, though Luna smashed both types of groups as they came across them, since there was no reason to let their enemies become stronger. Other than that there wasn't too much for them to worry about, though there was an ancient tower that Luna ignored, since it looked like it might collapse at any moment, and none of the caves seemed important since she confirmed the main path would bring them to the manor. The fact that the cultists were here just confirmed that Maghda knew they were following her and was doing everything in her power to make sure they were stalled, to give her all the time she needed to break the Stranger and turn him into a demon, or whatever it was that she was planning on doing.

Fortunately finding the woman's wagon proved to be rather simple, it was near the path they were following and Luna found the staff easily enough, it was the only piece of wood with magic inside it, though an idea formed in her mind as she took the item and approached the khazra barricade that was at the end of the path.

Sure enough the goatmen didn't care about them trying to return the staff and attacked them on sight, causing Luna to put the staff away as she and Kormac tore through those that were guarding the path, leaving Leah and Lyndon to deal with the ranged foes or those that were running away. This did disappoint Luna, she had been hoping to get through the khazra and not spill their blood all over the place, but there was little she could do as the group dealt with the aggressive goatmen like usual, leaving their bodies on the ground as they spilled all sorts of blood. It was interesting to see how the khazra had just built their camps into the Highlands, especially since the goatmen didn't have to worry about the guards killing them or just chasing them from the land, but it was still sad to see that they were following the cultists who were sending them to their deaths. One cultist even commanded a group of them to make sure Luna's group didn't touch him, and while the others dealt with the goatmen, however, Luna crushed the cultist with magic, allowing them to progress through the rest of the very straightforward Highlands with remarkable speed.

In the end the group crossed a bridge that brought them to the locked gate of the manor's outer wall, a gate Luna slashed her way through, and they discovered a teleportation device in the center of the courtyard, where she sat near it for a few seconds as she glanced at the others.

"Let us take a few minutes to rest... I suspect we'll need our full strength for whatever rests in this place." Luna stated, as she suspected that one of the foes they would have to fight would be the Butcher, since he was definitely on Maghda's side, and she wanted to be ready for whatever else might be in the depths of this dark place.

Leah nodded and sat beside Luna, resting her head on the alicorn's shoulder, because right now she was the only thing that was keeping Leah from falling into the depths of her hatred and rage from the Coven and it's leader, while the others sat on the other side of the device, resting up before they delved into whatever horrors the manor had in store for them.
