With the Archangel of Hope freed Luna found her way out of the area that she had found the figure in and stepped out into the area that she had passed through previously, where she found that Valla, Sonya, and everyone else, the Nephalem to be exact, were catching up with her.

"Diablo is calling in the forces of Hell through portals called 'Hell Rifts', and right now it seems like there are two of them in the Heavens." Auriel commented, floating behind Luna as she stepped out of what seemed to be a library of sorts, despite the fact that it didn't have books inside it, not normal ones anyway, where she held a hand out towards the group that was following in Luna's wake and empowered them, "Nephalem, you should be able to find the Hell Rifts and destroy them, as it will help cripple the demons that are infesting the Heavens."

"And let me guess, Luna will be waging war on the higher reaches?" Valla inquired, though she wasn't remotely surprised by that fact, right now it seemed like the alicorn was on a plane of existence that was beyond what she and the others were capable of, despite them being Nephalem, where she found that the Archangel nodded her head, "Figured. Oh well, let's get started and kill some demons."

Sonya roared as she turned around and rushed into the demons that were gathering near the large demonic points that were scattered around the level of the Heavens that Luna had fought through, swinging her weapon as she sliced through a few of them and allowed the others to catch up with her. At the same time Luna simply focused on tracking down the next portion of the Heavens as she moved through the oppressor demons and the shield demons, her blades slicing through her foes while her aura slowed down the attackers and iced the bodies of the slain. The interesting thing was that the demons had a beast of war with them, several of them based on what she was seeing, because they were four-legged beasts that she could tell were outfitted to do battle, while also having savage looking teeth, wicked spikes on the arms and legs, and a small human-sized demon riding them. Luna guessed that they were more like cavalry, a demonic cavalry, though she wasted no time in rushing at the newcomers, slashing through their legs and crippling the movement of the war beasts, allowing her to use her magic to form icicles that pierced the heads of the riders.

As Luna cut down the first group of war beasts she found that the others were doing well on their own, they were killing the demons that were surging out of a red portal they had uncovered, though what was humorous about this was that they were able to wipe out the defenders and push inside the Hell Rift.

While they did that Luna continued to move through the group of demons that were coming at her, wasting no time in using her blades to cut through each and every one of them, much to the surprise of the enemies that were in her way, and yet it looked like there was no end to them. She understood why that was the case, they were now servants of the Prime Evil, who was stronger than all of the Lords of Hell in their individual forms, so it was obvious that the demons wanted to live since to defy their new master meant he might strike them down once he accomplished his goal. At the same time she knew that the other Archangel, Itherael, was paying close attention to this sequence of events, as he was just an observer and guessed that he must have seen the downfall of the High Heavens, but with her on the case Luna knew she had unseated that future and left a glimmer of hope. She could also tell that Diablo was observing them as he made his way towards his destination, the core of Heaven, Luna could hear his mocking laughter as he tore through those that were defending the path, yet she knew he had placed obstacles in their way and that she would have to destroy one or two on her own to advance.

While she thought about that Luna noted that Tyrael was nowhere to be seen, either he was fighting the forces of Hell or he had grabbed onto Imperius to stop him from ruining his life, not that she cared about the Archangel of Valor, though in that moment the air shuddered as the Hell Rift collapsed, the others appearing nearby.

"So, you destroy the Hell Rift and it spits you back out." Luna remarked, though this was a good thing, because if more of her companions suffered or perished she was sure that her mind would never recover, even if she destroyed Diablo, so Valla and the others being warped out meant they could live to fight another day.

"Yes, and the rifts are full of demons, such as oppressors, the war beasts, and the large mallet lords... really tall demons with mallets for hands." Valla replied, as the last one had been interesting, especially since it had been faster than they thought at first, but with their power and skill they had brought it down before wasting too much time, even though there was more for them to explore before they tracked down the other Hell Rift.

After that the Nephalem used the blue portal that was at the end of the path to warp over to another portion of Heaven, all while Luna just flew through the air and slammed into some of the taller demons that were in the way, opening the way for the others to catch up with her once more. The angels were fighting back far better in this area, some shouting at their foes for their brazen assault on Heaven, but Luna wasted no time on them as she moved above the pathways, swinging at the demons that dared to get in her way. She also discovered that the winged demons that were part of Azmodan's forces were here now, along with the serpent demons that had served Belial, and sure enough there were other demons that served the other Evils, meaning each region of Hell was responding to Diablo's call to war. It was a reminder that the Prime Evil had full control over the forces of Hell, each of the seven regions, and their foe was using that to his advantage, in an attempt to slow them down, though it hardly mattered to Luna as she slashed through her enemies and froze those that tried to attack her from behind.

While she did that Valla and the others did what they did best, they tore through the demons and slaughtered them as they searched for the second Hell Rift, eventually destroying a demonic growth that revealed the way forward, allowing the seven of them to head inside it as Luna continued to tear through her incoming foes.

Luna found that more and more demons came rushing towards her without wasting time, like they knew she was a threat to their master and that bringing her down was the best thing they could do right now, but instead she just moved through all of them without slowing down, scattering their severed bodies in the process. While she did that Luna gathered her power for a moment and loosed a wave of energy that crashed into the demons that were on a platform off to her right and simply blasted them into oblivion, even though it did leave a hole on the platform as well. Such a thing would piss off the angels, as it was their home she was wrecking, but right now she honestly didn't care as she focused on wrecking her foes, where she found that some of the demons actually backed away from her before attacking again. It was an attempt to make her lower her guard, like she would forgive the 'defenseless' or 'fearful' demons, like they were trying to make it seem like they were forced into this war, but she knew she couldn't be deceived and crushed them with ease.

Eventually she found an interesting sight, Tyrael was standing next to the portal that would bring them deeper into the High Heavens and floating next to him was none other than Kulle, who seemed like he wanted to say something but also knew it was best to not distract Luna from her mission.

"Luna, I have decided to join this battle... you have shown us that there is a chance at victory, even in the face of betrayal." Tyrael said, where he glanced at the higher reaches of his home and gazed at the area that served as the core that made sure the angels were able to recover, and be reborn, which he knew Diablo was after because if that was taken out he would cripple the High Heavens and end the Eternal Conflict.

"Speak for yourself. I always knew that Luna represented our best chance at destroying Diablo." Kulle stated, because he had faith in Luna's great power, especially since she had treated him like an actual person and not the villain that the Horadrim had labeled him as in the past, so he had a feeling that this form and power of hers would be the key to stopping Diablo in his tracks, "I'm just surprised that you haven't gone after him yet."

"Despite the past, the angels deserve a chance to defend their home properly, so freeing the Archangels was necessary, as my target isn't close to his target." Luna replied, where she stepped through the portal that was in front of them and quickly appeared in a new area, an area that was fouled by Diablo's corruption and was swarming with demons, the same ones she had fought so far, so there wasn't anything new for her to worry about, "Though he's certainly trying to waste our time... after this I'm going to fly ahead, no matter what we find in this place."

As it turned out there really wasn't much for them to worry about, Luna carved her way through the demons that came her way, Tyrael focused on cutting apart his enemies as he lead the way to the next portal, and Kulle focused on loosing spells at the enemies that were the furthest away. Together the three of them were a formidable force, cleaving their way through all of the demons who happened to be in this portion of Heaven, and Luna found that they had some backup in the form of Valla and the Nephalem, plus all of the angels they freed had regained themselves before joining the assault. Imperius was absent, which wasn't too surprising since he was terribly wounded, not that Luna cared, but from what she could tell it did look like the two Archangels she had aided were blessing their growing force, allowing them to carve through the corruption as they sought out the next portal. Fortunately Luna didn't have to worry about tracking it down, as Tyrael recalled the way and lead her right to it, bringing them to what appeared to be a bridge that connected one portion of Heaven to another, and this time it seemed like Diablo had jumped ahead to cover more ground.

In the center of the bridge, in a circular area, Tyrael paused as a hulking demonic angel, his old lieutenant Izual, who took joy in their meeting since they were both fallen angels, though Luna barely wasted time as she flashed through the air and just swung her sword down at the demon, the wave of energy slicing him in half and blowing his remains up, though he did drop a blue angelic sword, his old weapon that Tyrael collected.

"I am done wasting time." Luna said, spreading her wings for a moment as she floated into the air, allowing her to focus on the area that Diablo was heading towards, because after everything they had done she was sure that Valla and the others could deal with the rest of the demons that were invading Heaven, so her focus should be on Diablo, "Kulle, you, Tyrael, and the others should be able to take care of the remaining enemies on your own... I'm taking the fight to the Prime Evil."

Kulle nodded his head as Luna turned and flew through the air, the air of Heaven chilling as she rushed towards the area that the Crystal Arch was resting in, as she was going to meet with the Prime Evil and do battle with him, and he was eager to see how she decided the fate of the realms with this battle.
