It was evening and most of the participants were training and with Robin and Sunset they talked about the day. "This was a tough battle" Sunset said and Robin replied "Yeah but we managed to win the first game. That gives us a big advantage in the long round" Sunset smiled and said "Yeah that's true. Guess we get to work doubles so hard to keep the lead"

Robin nodded and said "By the way. I have an attack idea I wanted to practice. Can you help me?" Sunset looked shocked and said "Huh, Okay. what kind of idea?" They went towards an infinity stadium and Robin turned it on. "This is how the ide works" he said and Sunset listened.

In another room, Amelia trained while Twilight planned strategies. After Amelia caught her Bey she asked "What do you have there?" Twilight looked up and replied "I'm coming up with different attack patterns that I think would work"

"Amazing. You really have a talent for this" Amelia said and Twilight smiled a little and said "Thanks. I've always been more of a thinker than a doer"

(Flashback)

It was the day they received the invitation to the tournament. Amelia was immediately interested and had asked Twilight if she wanted to be her partner.

"Huh, you're not going to ask Robin? Why me?" she asked. "Robin and I still aim to face each other in an official tournament. Besides, in a Tag tournament I need a partner I can trust. You're the first one I can think of" Amelia explained.

Twilight was taken aback by that and asked "Why is that?" Amelia replied "You're smart, kind, and trustworthy. I know that together we can beat anyone. Even Robin and Sunset"

(End of Flashback)

"I just hope they can work" Twilight said but Amelia said "Of course they will. With your brains and my talent it will work" with the part about herself a bit cocky. Twilight laughed a little but then an explosion was heard and they were both shocked.

With Robin and Sunset there was smoke but when it cleared the infinity bey was bursted and their Bey was circulating. "There we have it. A combination of Crash Breaker and Flare Whip. No one can resist it" Robin said proudly and Sunset was impressed. "So much power. With this move, we can never lose" she said smiling.

It was the next day and everyone gathered in the Battle hall. "Good day all you Beyfans. Hope you are all ready for an exciting challenge today" said the announcer and then Wakiya came on the screen.

"Alright listen up. The Murasaki Group has for a long time developed and perfected a highly advanced Battle simulator and you will all be honored to use it now" he said and Twilight's eyes sparkled. With that came up 12 circles with a pillar in front pointing inwards with some kind of glasses.

The circles lit up and showed each their own Bey. "Now please go to your designated platform" he said and everyone went their separate ways. Sunset looked confused and took her place with Robin and Rainbow on either side.

"Now, you can place your Beys on the pillar in front of you" Wakiya said and everyone did so. With that the pillar scanned all the Beys and then he said "And now put on your VR glasses" Everyone did so with Twilight taking off theirs to be able to put them on.

After a few seconds, the system started and all teams were in their respective white rooms. Everyone was impressed with Twilight's complete fascination. With that came an avatar in the image of Wakiya.

"The challenge itself is simple. You will participate in three rounds. The winners of the rounds will advance and those who win the third round will win this Beytoken" said the Wakiya avatar, a digital Beytoken hovering in his hand.

Everyone was already excited and with that a stage came out from everyone. It seemed like an ordinary stadium, but there were two beys, one red and one blue, standing upright.

"In the stadiums you see two different beys. The red one is a defense type with a counter clockwise spin while the blue one is an attack type with a clockwise spin" Wakiya the avatar said. "You have 5 minutes to defeat both of these Beys. All teams that fail are out. The ones that succeed will move on" he said and with that they started spinning.

"This was unusual" Sunset said to Robin and Twilight said "Looks like we'll be racing against the clock as well" With that all the bey came out digitally and everyone got ready.

"Ready, Set" the screen said and began a countdown. "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" everyone shouted, trying to win their own matches. In Rainbow and Pinkie's match, it hit the red one and knocked it out of its place.

"Ha. That's easy. Just one more to go" Rainbow said proudly but then the red bey hit the blue one and it sped up. "What the Cupcake" Pinkie said confused. It didn't take long before everyone else had to experience the same thing.

"Aha. Seems like you've seen a twist here" Wakiya said coyly. "These Beys can split each other's spin if they touch each other" he said and several Beys burst out.

Everyone tried again and again to defeat the two beys. The first to succeed were Sunset and Robin by attacking the same bey. Then Adagio and Aria succeeded through the same tactics. After that it was Bell and Ranzo with Ranzo blowing them away and Bell knocking them away.

The three teams then got screens in front of them and got to see how the others did. The others were struggling and there was now just a little more than a minute left. "We only have one more chance" Twilight said and Amelia then said "We have to give it everything we've got. Do you have a plan?"

"I have one. Do you trust me?" she asked and Amelia said "Always" With that they both shouted "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" and with that they both attacked the red one first and it flew out of its place and slowed down a lot.

But when it went towards the blue one Twilight shouted "Now Athena" and then Athena went towards the red bey and shoved it into the blue one causing the blue one to burst.

"Yes" she said and Amelia smiled and thought "By Pushing the weakly rotated counter clockwise spinning Bey against the fast spinning clockwise spinning Bey she took out the blue one with a Slow Motion Burst"

With that the scarecrow moved closer to his seat and Amelia shouted "Oh no you don't" and then Griffin walked towards the red one and she shouted "Go Feather Storm" and then the red sent Beyn up in the air and falling towards Athena.

With the time down to 20 seconds Twilight shouted "Wise Spear" and then the red Bey hit it so it burst and with that Twilight and Amelia succeeded and then the timer hit 0.

"And it's over. Looks like two teams failed the challenge. That means team Rainbow and Pinkie and team Applejack and Rarity are out of the challenge" the announcer said and the four were disappointed. They took off their glasses and took their seats at the viewing benches and watched the others.

Second, the stadium disappeared and Wakiya appeared in front of them. "Congratulations. You made it past the first round. But the second will be more challenging" he said and then he snapped his finger and then an ordinary stadium appeared in front of them.

"The challenge is simple. Defeat your opponents and move on" Wakiya said and everyone looked surprised. "That sounds easy" Sunset said and then Robin said "Yeah. almost too easy" Bell gave a chuckle and said "Okay Wakiya. How about you give us the twist. It's more than that" Wakiya gave a cocky grin and said "If you so wish to know. Meet your opponents"

With that, the opponents were digitized and everyone gasped. Ahead of them saw a reflection. But it did not reflect them. Wakiya chuckled and said "That's it. Your opponents are yourselves"

Truth be told, there was a digital version of all the teams and they looked at the real ones. The only difference was that all their Beys had the same color pattern. Mainly purple with red highlights. "This is so weird" Sunset said and Robin agreed with her.

"Take note. Only the top two teams will advance. If you fail to defeat both beys or come in third place, you're out" Wakiya said and everyone nodded. "Start battle" said the screen and they all took their stances and the digital variants took the same stance as their counterparts. "Ready, Set" the screen said and began a countdown.

Sunset and Robin's match-

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and all the beys flew into the stadium and they chased each other. "Flare Launch" shouted both Sunset and the two Robin shouted "Crash Launch" and they all attacked their counterpart.

"We're just copying each other" Sunset said after a while. After a few seconds, the fake Phoenix went at Drago and the digital Sunset shouted "Flare Whip" and it knocked Drago away a bit.

Both of them gasped and Robin shouted "They attack like us?" Wakiya heard a commenter and he said proudly "This computer scans all your attack patterns and gives them as close to real life decisions in the stadium as possible"

They were surprised but just then saw Drago land and go at the fake Phoenix from the side. "Now, Crash Counter" Robin shouted and Drago attacked, knocking the fake Phoenix away. "Nice there" Sunset said and Robin smiled.

"Now what" Robin asked and Sunset replied "If they think like us we can predict their moves. So what would you do in their shoes?" Robin thought for a moment and then said "The rim" and just like that the fake Drago walked towards the rim a few seconds later.

They accelerated and with that it piled up in the air and spun. They both nodded and the digital Robin shouted "Now, Drago Dive" It fell towards Drago but then Phoenix pushed it away and the fake Drago just hit the ground of the stadium.

"Now" Robin shouted and Sunset shouted "Flare Whip" With that Phoenix hit the fake Drago hard causing it to burst. With that it was digitized away and the digital Robin closed his eyes and turned green.

They both celebrated but it was quickly interrupted by the fake Phoenix attacking Drago. They both focused again and the real Phoenix managed to help Drago out of the hold and they all circled the stadium but then the fake Phoenix started to accelerate on the rim.

With that robin and Sunset shouted "Drago" and "Phoenix" respectively and their Bey avatars came forward. After that the digital Sunset shouted "Ultra Flare Whip" but at the same time both real beys went towards the center with their targets in between.

"Okay now" Robin said and Sunset replied "Okay got it" and with that they both shouted "Double Flare Breaking Crush" and then they attacked from both sides with Drago pushing down from above and Phoenix attacking and managing to come from below.

It created several sparks and the pressure was so strong that after a while the fake Phoenix burst and the digital Sunset closed her eyes and turned green. "Battle Over. Team Sunset and Robin Advance" the screen said and they high fived.

Twilight and Amelia's Match-

Twilight whispered something to Amelia and they all shouted "3 ... 2 ... 1 ... let it, rip!" And with that, Griffin went towards the center and Athena circulated on the outskirts.

The two fake bey attacked at the same time but Amelia shouted "here we go, feather storm" and created their cyclone and they quickly got blown away but then Athena came and beat the false griffin and the false colidates and went towards the real and they repeated themselves. They both smiled at each other happy and were happy that the plan worked.

(Flashback)

"It works like this. You get to the center of the stadium and I hole up on the edge in attack mode. You activate Feather Storm and push one of the opponent's beys up the slope while I attack them so it goes down. It collides with each other and take more damage over time" Twilight explained and Amelia was impressed. "That's really smart. Let's do it" she said happily and twilight smiled.

(End of Flashback)

It continued with it but then the digital Amelia shouted "Go, Feather Counter" and the fake griffin success got away from Athena and then went against that way and jumped up. "Storm Strike" she shouted and the fake went against the real griffin. But just then Amelia smiled and said "Bad move".

When the false griffin hit the Cyclone, it changed direction and landed next to and then blew away. "Nice there, and now," said Twilight and Athena attached the false one so it went against and was caught in the wind and ejected from the stadium.

With that, it was digitized away and the digital Twilight closed its eyes and glowed green. The false griffin continued to circulate but then twilight "Go, Wise Spear" and beat the false Griffin so it hit the wall and started slowly. It only took a few seconds to stop and digitized away and the digital Amelia Glowed green. "Battle Over. Team Twilight and Amelia Advance" The Screen Said and they cheered.

After that the announcer said "And it's done. With that Team Sunset and Robin and Team Twilight and Amelia have made it to the final round for today" The others cheered as the other teams were annoyed that they didn't make it.

Wakiya's avatar came out and said "Congratulations to the four of you who are left. For the last round you will have a real life challenge. Take off your VR glasses now" They all did and the Sirens, Bell and Ranzo took a seat with the others.

The other four who remained stood and watched as all the VR equipment went under the floor and a stadium came up. This one seemed like a regular stadium but it also had some form of rails on the sides. There were two pairs of a large and a smaller rail on opposite sides.

"Oh my. Looks like the stadium that's been chosen is a Turbo Stadium. It's really going to be an accelerated battle" said the announcer. They all looked in wonder at the stadium.

"I've never seen anything like this" Twilight said then Sunset asked "What's so special about this one?" Robin pointed and said "When a Bey rides the rails it gets a massive speed boost"

Everyone was intrigued by the stadium and then Wakiya walked up to the stadium and said "The last challenge is easy so listen carefully. The last opponent today is" he took a quick dramatic pause and said "Me"

They were all surprised and the announcer said "But what now. Commissioner Wakiya has just announced that he will be the last opponent for these two teams today" Everyone was surprised and Wakiya said "One at a time you will face me in a one on two match point. The first to win against me will win a Beytoken for your team"

Everyone was taken aback but then Twilight asked "Wait. Shouldn't we be fighting together. We are Tag teams after all" Wakiya smiled and said "That's right. But an important part of a team is trust. In this situation you have to trust that your teammate can deliver them all by themselves and lift them up"

With that, Wakiya took out a Bey and said "Lay your eyes on your opponent. The strongest defense type of The Murasaki Group, Jet Wyvron" and then he held out his Bey.

They were all interested and then Wakiya said "Okay then let's start" He held up one hand and the screen above showed a roll of the four and it started spinning. "Whoever it stops at will face me first. Then we'll take turns per team" he said and after a few seconds it stopped at Amelia.

"And there it is. Amelia Kings is the first to face Wakiya." the announcer said and Amelia said "All right. I win this instantly" they both walked towards the stadium and the other three watched from the back.

Both were ready and the screen said "Ready, Set" With that both shouted "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" and the two Beys walked off in the stadium. Wyvron quickly made his way to the center and Griffin went for an attack.

Amelia shouted "Take them down" but then Wakiya shouted "I don't think so. Stop them in their tracks with your Jet Shield" With that they collided and the Wyvron's outer ring span free deflected the attack.

"Oh my, Wyvron's defense is keeping Griffin in check. Can they even counter" said the announcer but then Griffin went up the small rail and sped up. "So that's how it goes" Twilight said as she saw Griffin accelerate.

It then went off the rails but it shook a little so it hit the Wyvron a little to the right so it deflected and then it collided with the wall and burst. "Jet Wyvron with a Burst Finish, Wakiya Murasaki is the winner" Said the screen and the announcer said "Oh My. Wakiya managed to take this win without any effort"

Wakiya smiled coyly and they were all surprised that he was so good. "How is he so good?" asked Sunset and Robin replied "It may not seem like it but Wakiya has actually participated in several Bey tournaments in the past. He seems to have kept his skills up"

Amelia was a little annoyed but then Wakiya pointed at Robin and said "Okay your up boy" Robin did a double take and got out a "Boy?" With that he walked over to the stadium and both got ready.

"Ready, Set" the screen said and began the countdown "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and the two beys entered the stadium. Wyvron made his way to the middle as Drago went for an attack.

"Now, Crash Launch" Robin shouted as Wakiya shouted "Get them. Jet Shield" Drago attacked several times but Wyvron blocked everything. It continued for quite a while and Amelia pointed out "This is just like a replay of my match"

But then Robin shouted "Now Drago" and resonated so Drago's avatar appeared. With that Drago went up the longer rail and accelerated a lot.

When it came off the rail it went straight for the Wyvron and Robin yelled "Crash Breaker" and hit the Wyvron hard. Wyvron was knocked off center and Robin cheered but then Wyvron stopped and Wakiya said "It's time. Let's go Wyvron" and resonated with his Bey so purple energy came out.

With that Wyvron's avatar appeared and it was a large Wyvern with purple scales. Its underside and wings were pale purple and its claws were dark purple. Finally, it had dark purple eyes and flames coming out of its head and tail.

With that Wyvron began to dive down the slope straight towards Drago. "Feel our power. Go Shield Crash" Wakiya shouted and the Wyvron collided into Drago sending it flying up the side of the rail and bursting on impact. Robin gasped and the screen said "Jet Wyvron with a Burst Finish, Wakiya Murasaki is the winner"

"That was unbelievable. Wakiya managed to hit Robin with his signature move. The Shield Crash" said the announcer. Robin gritted his teeth and picked up his Bey then went to the other three.

"Sorry Sunset. I got ahead of myself" he said but Amelia put a hand on his shoulder and said "It's okay. I did the same" After a few seconds Wakiya said "okay guys. Let's get on with the show"

With that the announcer said "Alright people. It's now time for Twilight Sparkle to go toe to toe with Wakiya" Twilight walked towards the stadium and took a deep breath. "Calm down. Take what I know and formulate a plan" she thought, thinking about the previous matches.

"Wyvron's outer ring can freespin. Deflect all attacks that come at it. Also if you force it out of the center it goes like a pentalum and counter attacks just like my Wise Crash. If I can manage to take the center then I have a chance" she thought and put her Bey in defense mode.

"Her focus is on the middle. She's going to defend the attacks. She's really put some thought into this. But it's not enough" Wakiya thought and they both readied themselves.

"Ready, Set" the screen said and began the countdown "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and both beys went against the middle. Twilight bey managed to get there first and she called out "Wise Guard" and then it set up its dome.

"And with that Twilight has managed to take command of the center" the announcer said. "She got there first" Sunset said and then Robin thought "She tilted her bey just enough so it would get there the fastest without falling over. It takes perfect analysis of the stadium's slope. She's really sharp in thought"

Wyvron went up the slope and then dived straight for Athena. When it collided, Athena was forced up the slope but then it went back. "Here we go. Wise Crash" she called and Athena hooked into the Wyvron so it went up the slope a little higher than Athena.

Wakiya gasped and Wyvron stopped in the slope and began to dive. "Get them. Shield Crash" he shouted and Wyvron slammed into Athena and it went up the slope a little more than Wyvron.

With that it went back and forth with Wise Crash and Shield Crash and the announcer said "Both contestants deliver similar attacks time and time again"

Sunset looked interested and said "It's going back and forth. Are they even going anywhere?" Robin looked carefully and said "It seems the same but it also goes up a little each time. With each hit it goes towards the edge and before you know it"

As he said that, Athena was near the edge and dove down. "Now there's no more room to back into. Go Wise Crash" she said and Athena collided into the Wyvron so it went up the slope.

The others cheered but then Wakiya smiled and said "It's time. Let's go Wyvron" and then he resonated with his bey and its avatar appeared.

Just then it went up the smaller rail and accelerated. "But now what. Wyvron accelerates and charges up another attack" the announcer said. Twilight gasped and Wyvron then walked straight towards Athena.

"Time for the Hyper Shield Crash" Wakiya shouted and the Wyvron slammed into Athena so hard it flew out of the arena. "Jet Wyvron with a Ring out finish, Point standings 1-0" the screen said.

"Wyvron managed to take the lead with a massive attack. How will it play out next round I wonder" said the announcer and Twilight is getting a little worried.

"What power. Can I even measure up" she thought and began to panic. Sunset noticed and said "Twilight is starting to panic" Then Robin said "If she doesn't snap it out she'll never win"

With that Amelia yelled "Come on Twi" Twilight heard that and turned and Amelia said "You can't lose your cool. Just give it your all and you will win" Twilight looked down and said "But I"

But just then Robin shouted "No buts. If you don't get yourself together you'll never win. Give it your all and we'll cheer you on" twilight eyes sparkled a little and with that all her friends started cheering her on.

"Oh my gosh. It seems like everyone is rooting for Twilight. Even on different teams, friends are cheering loudly" the announcer said.

Wakiya closed his eyes and thought "They're so loud. I'm going to get a headache" But then he smiled and thought "It's just like those bunch of fools" and thought of his friends.

Twilight smiled and turned straight ahead and then the screen said "Second battle" and they both got ready. "Ready, Set" the screen said and began the countdown "3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and both Bey went in for the center.

"Go Wise Guard" Twilight shouted and Wakiya shouted "Get them. Jet Shield" With that they collided in the center but after a while Athena managed to knock the Wyvron away a bit.

But with that it went back down the slope. "Now Shield Crash" Wakiya shouted but then they started colliding with each other same as before. "Am I seeing a replay or what. It's a continued contest between Wise Crash and Shield Crash" said the announcer.

After a while, Athena went for an attack in the same position as before and Wyvron went up the rail. "Let's go Wyvron" Wakiya said and he resonated with his Bey and its avatar came forward.

With that, it accelerated and headed straight for Athena. "Hyper Shield Crash" Wakiya shouted but then Twilight shouted "Hold on Athena" and resonated with it making Athena's avatar appear.

Wyvron landed the attack on Athena but she endured it and they both went up the slope. Wakiya gasped and then both went up the rail on opposite sides with Wyvron on the small one and Athena on the large one.

"Let's do this one more time. Hyper Shield Crash" Wakiya called out and then Twilight called out "Here we go. Hyper Wise Crash" They both went off the rails and collided in the center of the stadium creating sparks.

It continued to push until they both flew against the edge of the large rails. As Athena hit the edge and bounced off the Wyvron hit and burst. "Wise Athena with a Burst Finish, Twilight Sparkle is the winner" the screen said.

All the friends cheered and the announcer said "Unbelievable. Twilight has managed to defeat Wakiya and take today's Beytoken" With that the screen showed Twilight and Amelia having two tokens.

Wakiya was surprised that she managed to copy his moves like that but then smiled. Twilight celebrated with the others and everyone congratulated her.
