Eclipse flew out over a dark and deserted beach and landed in front of a bey stadium. She looked around and it seemed like no one was there. But just then she heard something and torches were lit and out of the darkness came Phi smiling.

"So you are Eclipse" said Phi and Eclipse asked "And who are you supposed to be?" Phi gave a weak laugh and said "Ahh, ignorance of young. You really don't know when you are facing your last battle" Eclipse started to get irritated and said "So you are going to be a blader?"

"Not just a blader. I am Phi, and I am the Lord of Destruction. And you will be destroyed in the fire of Reformed Phoenix" said Phi and Eclipse was surprised by what Phi said but then she got a look that seemed like Phi was like Ashtem and she got angry.

"Lord of Destruction, What a joke. The only one who will be hurt is you" Eclipse said irritably but then Phi giggled evilly and said "Oh this will be fun. Let me show you the power of a true Phoenix" and then they stared intensely at each other.

Robin, Sunset, Twilight and Valt were walking in the forest away from a train station. While they were walking, Twilight said "Is it just me or are we further from civilization than Xander's dojo?" and Valt said "That's just how it is sometimes" nonchalantly.

While they were walking, Twilight took out her notepad and looked over her notes from when they were with Xander and when Sunset saw it she giggled a little and said "Twi, I know you're careful. But at this rate you're going to run out of paper in no time"

Twilight looked at Sunset and said "I know it seems like a lot. But I just want to learn as much as I can" and then she picked up the notepad and said "When I return to Equestria I'll know everything about beyblades"

But before she knew it something came swinging and caught Twilight's eye. When she tried to see what it was, it had already disappeared into the tree. "What happened?" Robin asked when and turned to Twilight.

"Something came out of nowhere and swung itself up the tree" Twilight said in surprise. With that Valt giggled a little and he looked up into the trees and said "Okay. You can come down now" and then a person jumped down from the trees and landed in front of them.

When he landed Robin looked farcical and the person who came from the tree said "So. You are the ones Valt wanted me to meet" with a confident smile. Sunset looked at him and recognized that he was one of the ones Eclipse had fought against.

The guy walked up and Valt said "Okay you three. This is Aiger Akabane. One of the strongest blades I know" With that Robin said "I'm Robin Kings. It's nice to meet you" and Sunset said "My name is Sunset Shimmer"

"I already know. I've seen your battles and you seem strong" Aiger said and then he gave them a look with a fire in it and said "And I'm looking forward to blowing you both away" Sunset and Robin were excited and then Aiger turned to Twilight and walked up to her.

"You must be the princess I heard about. Nice to meet you" he said and extended his hand and Twilight shook it and said "My name is Twilight Sparkle" With that Aiger showed them the way to his home and then a young girl in a white cotton beanie with a blue cotton ball on top, a shirt short-sleeved dress shirt, dark and light-blue pinstriped trousers with dark blue suspenders and a pins an ‘N’ badge onto came up to them.

"Aiger" she called out and Aiger said "Hey Naru" and then he turned to the others and said "Okay you three. This is my younger sister, Naru Akabane" and Naru said "It's nice to meet you" When they had all greeted Aiger said "But now that all the greetings are done it's time"

With that he turned to Robin and said "Time for us to battle, Robin Kings" Everyone was surprised except Valt and Robin asked "Huh? Why do you want to fight me?" Aiger smiled and said "You better not forget. I was a world champion before Valt. So I have to see that you have the power of one"

Twilight was surprised and said "Wait. Were you a world champion?" and Aiger said "Yep. I had the title before Valt took it before you started blading" Sunset then said "Yes. The match we first saw was your title match" and Aiger said "Yep. I'm the strongest there is"

But then Valt said "Really. I remember I was champion for two years in a row before you started. And when you won against me you lost the title in the next match against Hyde" with a teasing smile and Aiger shouted "That didn't count"

They all laughed a little at Aiger's reaction and Robin said "Sure. If you want to battle, let's battle" Aiger smiled at that and said "That's what I wanted to hear" and they took their places at a stadium.

"I saw your battle against Eclipse. Is Achilles back together?" Robin asked and Aiger smiled and said "Not only that. But Achilles has gotten a turbo upgrade" and took out his Bey and said "This is the new and improved Zeal Achilles"

"Zeal Achilles. It seems strong" Sunset said and Twilight said "It looks like a balance type. Wonder how it fights?" and Valt said "I thought Aiger would evolve Achilles. I can't wait to see what it can do"

They both got ready with Naru as the ref and Robin thought "This is no ordinary blader I'm facing here. Aiger is a former world champion. I can't slip up" and put Drago's blade and both were ready. With that Naru said "Ready, set" and raised her hand.

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and both beys quickly circled in opposite directions. When Valt saw it he said "So he switched to a Left-Spinning bey. I can't wait to see what it can do"

With that they went towards each other and Robin shouted "Nova Launch, Now" while Aiger shouted "Go Achilles. Zeal Launch" and the attacks were even and collided. "It was as strong as I thought. So let's use speed" Robin said and Drago went towards the rim and accelerated.

Aiger looked at Drago and thought "It's both fast and strong. Seems like he planned to go for speed early" and then Drago went off the rim and straight towards Achilles and Robin shouted "Go, Nova Flash" The attack approached Achilles but then Aiger smiled and said "You're so predictable. I see all your moves"

"Achilles. Block them with your Zealous Shield" he shouted and two shields formed around Achilles and quickly spun and blocked the attack. Robin gasped and Twilight said surprised "He got away" and Aiger said "Okay. Time to show them, We are the strongest there are"

With that Aiger's hair tie broke and his hair stood straight up and he shouted "Achilles" and resonated with his bey so Achilles' avatar appeared. Twilight and Sunset were surprised that Aiger's resonance was so strong.

With that, both beys went at each other and Robin shouted "Don't let them attack. Nova Breaker" and Drago went on the attack and then Aiger shouted. "Blow them away Achilles. Zeal Breaker" and he jumped up and swept his hand down. Both attackers went at each other and they were in a deadlock for a while but then Drago burst and Robin gasped.

"Zeal Achilles with a Burst Finish, Aiger is the winner" Naru said happily and Robin was in shock at the loss. Aiger laughed and said "Like I said. Me and Achilles are the strongest" Robin picked up his Bey and thought "I don't get it. I didn't slip up. Why didn't I win"

Before anyone could say anything a man with green eyes, a blue beard and a brown hat came towards them and said "What's all the noise about?" They all turned towards him and Naru smiled and said "Dad" and Robin said "Dad?" confused.

Aiger walked up to the man and said "Yep. This is my dad" and the man walked up to them. "My name is Taiga Akabane" said Aiger's father and then Valt walked up to him and said "Hey Boss man. It's been a while"

Taiga looked at Valt and smiled and said "Ah Valt. It's nice to see you again" Twilight looked at them and asked "Valt. Why do you call Aiger's father "Boss Man"?" Valt turned to Twilight with a smile and said "Because Mr. Akabane is a Bey trainer"

Taiga scratched the back of her head and confirmed it and Twilight became very interested and asked Taiga if she could ask some questions. Taiga was okay with that and while they were talking Aiger showed Sunset and Robin around but Aiger noticed that Robin's eyes were not focused on the present.

While they were walking, Sunset was impressed by all the metal sculptures. "Wow. These are really incredible" she said and Naru said "Yep. Dad made them" and Sunset said "He must be really skilled" and Naru nodded.

Robin looked at the sculptures but stopped when he saw one that appeared to be a large knight with a large sword and shield. "Wow. This is impressive" he said and Aiger walked up to Robin and said "Isn't it. This is Achilles"

Robin looked at Aiger in surprise and said "Achilles? You mean like your bey?" and Aiger said "Yep" Just then Sunset and Naru came up to them and when Sunset saw the statue she was impressed and said "Wow. This is so cool"

Naru smiled and said "Sure it is. It's a statue of Achilles" Sunset looked at Naru in surprise and said "Achilles?" Aiger looked at the statue proudly and said "Achilles is the strongest hero from Greek mythology. When I started as a blader, I wanted to be the strongest blader in the world, just like Achilles"

Sunset and Robin were impressed and Naru then said "Besides, the first Achilles Aiger made was made from the statue's original sword and shield" Robin looked at Naru in surprise and said "Really?" and Aiger said "Yep. And we've gotten stronger since then" and smiled.

After a few seconds, Sunset said "Hey Aiger" Aiger turned to Sunset and Sunset said "Let's battle" Robin looked in surprise and Aiger smiled and said "I was waiting for you to ask" and with that they stood at the stadium.

Sunset looked at Aiger and thought "Achilles is a balance type like Phoenix. Its attack and defense are very strong so we'll use both" and she put Phoenix in balance. With that, both were ready and Naru said "Ready, set"

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and both beys circled. "Go now Achilles. Zeal Launch" shouted Aiger and Sunser shouted "Now Solar Launch" and they attacked each other.

Robin saw it and thought "That's just like my match. What is Sunset thinking" After a while Phoenix went up the slope and when it came Aiger shouted "As if that will work. Achilles, Zealous Shield" and Achilles' defense came forward but then Sunset smiled and shouted "Let's face defense with defense. Solar Guard"

Robin gasped and their defenses hooked into each other. Aiger smiled and said "Not bad. But Achilles' shield won't be broken that easily" With that Achilles started to speed up and shouted "Achilles" and resonated with his Bey so Achilles' avatar came forward.

With that Achilles went straight towards Phoenix and Aiger shouted "Go for it. Zeal Breaker" and the attack landed. But thanks to Phoenix's defense, the attack was blocked. Sunset smiled and said "Sorry. Phoenix's defense won't be broken that easily" in a slightly teasing tone.

Aiget looked surprised and just then they broke away and Phoenix started circling and went towards the rim and accelerated. "Phoenix now" Sunset shouted, Magical Resonance appeared and Phoenix's avatar followed.

Just then Achilles started circling quickly and went towards the wall and bounced up into the air. When Achilles stopped rising, Phoenix braked and they went towards each other. "Blow them away. Zealous Dive" Aiger shouted and Sunset shouted "Now. Ultra Solar Whip" The attacks collided and sparks flew everywhere. Finally, Sunset roared one last time and Achilles and Aiger gasped.

"Solar Phoenix with a Burst Finish, Sunset is the winner" said Naru and Sunset cheered. Aiger was surprised and Robin looked away for a second. When Sunset turned to Robin he looked back with a smile but Sunset noticed that it seemed forced and Aiger noticed it too.

It was now evening and Aiger's mother had fixed dinner for them all. Sunset and Twilight looked at the food excitedly and Aiger said "Believe me. When you taste Mom's cooking you will see her as the best cook" and Aiger's mother said "I hope you like it"

They sat down but then Sunset noticed that Robin was gone and asked "Wait. What is Robin?" With that Valt replied "I saw him at the stadium earlier" and Sunset sighed. "I'll get him" she said and started to get up but then Aiger stood up and said "Wait. I'll get him"

Sunset looked at Aiger surprised and asked "Are you sure?" and Aiger said "Yes. Start. We'll be back soon" He started to turn towards the door and then Aiger's mother gave him a box and said "Here" and Aiger thanked his mother and went out.

Robin was in the middle of training and focused on Drago's movements non-stop. He stopped when he felt Aiger's hand on his shoulder. He looked at Aiger and asked "Aiger. What are you doing here?" and Aiger said "Dude. It's time for dinner"

Robin turned back to the stadium and said "You can eat. I'm not hungry" Aiger looked frustrated for a second and said "If you want you can have one of my mother's sandwiches. They are Turbo delicious" Robin felt hungry right then and said "Okay. One sandwich"

But one quickly became several because Robin ate like he hadn't eaten in days. When he was done he said "Wow. They were really good" Aiger smiled and said "I know" and after a while they looked at each other. "Hey. I know you want to get stronger but you need to rest up" Aiger said but Robin looked down at the ground.

"Aiger. You have a battle against Eclipse. You know how strong she is. We will only get one chance to face her and nothing more. In a situation like this there is no room for mistakes" Robin said decisively. Aiger looked at him and said "You know. I used to think that mistakes were completely unacceptable and losses were wrong. But now I see them as opportunities"

Robin looked at Aiger in surprise and Aiger said "Every time I lose I see the strength of my opponent and my own weaknesses. Then I can turn it into my own strength" Robin looked at Aiger in surprise and Aiger said "Like you now. Mistake to train so late but now you got the opportunity to eat my mom's sandwiches"

Robin laughed a little and said "Okay I get it. I'll stop training and have dinner with the rest of you" Aiger smiled but then Robin said "But only if you battle with me afterwards" Aiger looked in surprise but then smiled and said "Okay. You're in"

When dinner was ready, Robin and Aiger were ready to battle while the others watched. Sunset looked worried and said "I knew I should have gotten Robin" The two boys looked at each other and Robin narrowed his eyes.

"I focused on avoiding mistakes. But I went through the biggest one by not taking any risks. So now we're going to go out with only instinct" Robin thought and put Drago's blade together. With that both were ready and precise when Naru said "Ready, set" Robin's eyes became more determined.

“3…” Robin rushed towards the stadium. “2…” He jumped towards the stadium and ran with his legs crossed “1…” He jumped up and started spinning to the right in the air. “Let it, Rip!” they both shouted and both Beys fell towards the stadium.

“Now. Rising Boost” Robin shouted and when both Beys landed Drago flew around at high speed. Sunset, Twilight and Valt were surprised and Aiger smiled and said “So you can improvise like that” Achilles circled towards the center and Aiger shouted “Now Achilles. Zealous Shield” and Achilles set up its defense.

“Go Drago. Nova Launch” Robin shouted and the attacks collided hard and fast. “Wow. Check out that speed” Sunset said impressed and the attacks rushed but Achilles held strong. “Ha. If you think those attacks will affect Achilles then you are wrong” Aiger said confidently.

But then Robin smiled and said "In that case. How about this one" With that Drago went up the slope and straight at Achilles and Robin shouted "Drago, Nova Whip" and the attack landed hard and Achilles went up the slope and Aiger said "Not bad. But Achilles won't fall that easily"

Achilles then went towards Drago and Aiger shouted "Now go. Zeal Counter" and Robin shouted "Attack back Drago" and they collided and both were knocked away. When they turned around Aiger shouted "One more time. Zeal Counter" but this time Robin shouted "Now. Nova Counter"

The counterattacks collided and ended evenly. Aiger was surprised that Drago countered Achilles like that and then said "Well. I can see you've gotten better than last time. But Achilles will win" and Robin said "Not if Drago has a thing to say"

With that Aiger started to roar and shouted "Achilles" and resonated with his bey and Achilles' avatar appeared. Just then Robin shouted "Now Drago" and his Magical Resonance activated and Drago's avatar appeared.

Aiger saw it and smiled and thought "Finally I get to see it" They both circled and went towards each other and Robin shouted "Again. Nova Whip" and Aiger shouted "Alright. Zeal Breaker" and the attacks collided hard but then they separated.

Robin was frustrated but then saw that Achilles went against the wall and smiled then. "I got you. Go Drago" he shouted and Drago went towards the rim and accelerated. Aiger gasped and when Achilles was near the rim Drago came whizzing in and Robin shouted "Finish it. Ultra Nova Whip" and the attack landed hard and Achilles flew up in the air and burst.

Aiger gasped but then smiled and then Naru said "Nova Drago with a Burst Finish, Robin is the winner" Robin jumped up and cheered and Sunset and Twilight rushed to him and congratulated him.

After a while Twilight asked "I just have to know. How did you come up with the idea to change your launch to that?" but Robin just shook his head and said "I don't know. It was just something I came up with in the nick of time" Twilight was confused and wanted Robin to explain but he couldn't with the best answer being "I just had a feeling it would work"

It was now night and Aiger looked up at the stars. "I can never get enough of the night sky out here" said a voice behind Aiger and when he turned around it was Valt. "Yep. My home is the best" Aiger said proudly and they stood next to each other.

After a while Aiger looked at Valt and said "Hey. I know what you're thinking, And you better hurry up" Valt looked at Aiger in surprise and said "Geez. Am I that bad at hiding it?" and Aiger said "What's there to hide. I can see right through you"

They shared a laugh and Valt asked "What do you mean I have to hurry?" Aiger smiled and said "If you don't do it soon I'll be the first to face him" but then Valt said "Sorry Aiger. But the win is mine" and they laughed together.

Back to Phi and Eclipse, both beys circled at full speed while Dark Phoenix had its defense blade frame and they collided so Reformed Phoenix's armor flew off. "The time is now" Phi said and started to roar and his eyes turned black. "Phoenix" he shouted and resonated so Reformed Phoenix's avatar appeared.

Reformed Phoenix hit the armor and it bounced off the wall and both it and Reformed Phoenix went towards Dark Phoenix and Phi shouted "Show them the power of the Lord of Destruction. Reformed Cannon Crush" But as they approached Dark Phoenix, Eclipse shouted "Phoenix" and her dark energy came forward and the Dark Phoenix avatar came forward.

The attack landed hard but then Eclipse shouted "Dark Recoil" and the Crush move was knocked out. Phi gasped and then they both circled and Dark Phoenix went towards the rim and accelerated.

Phi got his self together and Reformed Phoenix went against the armor and Phi shouted "Reformed Cannon" and at the same time Dark Phoenix collided with the wall and directly against the armor and Eclipse shouted "Dark Demon Whip"

The attacks collided hard but then cracks started to form and Reformed Phoenix's armor cracked in the middle and the attack landed on Reformed Phoenix so hard it broke. Phi gasped and Eclipse thought "It's that feeling again. I don't understand it. Why doesn't it go away"
