In a city with a clear view of the ocean, there was a building with a logo of a bey with a comet behind it. Inside, Hikaru and Hyuga Hizashi were just getting ready to have a battle. "Come on Hikaru. Let's battle" said Hyuga and Hikaru said "Okay. Take it easy Hyuga"

But just then the doors opened and someone walked towards them. "Huh. Who is it?" said Hikaru confused but then he gasped. "What? What is it Hikaru" asked Hyuga and turned to the person Hikaru saw and let out a scream when he realized it was Eclipse.

She walked towards the two and said "So you are Hikaru and Hyuga Hizashi" Hikaru replied "Yes. It is us" cautiously and Hyuga said "And what are you doing here" impatiently. Eclipse looked at them and took out her bey and said "You two will be Dark Phoenix's next victims" and the brothers gasped.

It was a sunny day and Sunset along with Robin, Princess Twilight and Valt were walking on a quiet forest path up a mountain. "Are we there soon?" Twilight said in an exhausted voice. Valt turned to her and said "Come on Twilight. Put your back into it" with a smile.

"Easy for you to say" Twilight said and they continued walking until they had reached the top of the hill. When they looked around they saw a building up a staircase that appeared to be a dojo. "So Valt. You said we would see a super strong blader. But I don't see anyone" Sunset said but Valt just smiled and said "We will. Give him a second. He's looking forward to seeing you again"

The three were confused but then they heard a voice that said "Ah. You're finally here" Sunset, Robin and Twilight were confused but then a puff of smoke came out and someone jumped out through the ground. When the person landed, Twilight was shocked that it was a man who was really big.

Sunset and Robin saw who they were and said "Xander?!" Xander looked at them and said "Well Well. It's been a while" and then Valt came and said "Xander. It's been a while" and walked towards Xander with a smile. They start talking and then the other three walked up to them.

"Xander. It's been a while" Sunset said and Xander said "Sunset. I've been looking forward to you coming" With that Xander looked at Twilight and walked towards her said "I assume you're the Princess Twilight I've heard of. My name is Alexander Shakadera. But everyone calls me Xander"

Twilight was a little intimidated by the giant in front of her but she managed to say "My name is Twilight Sparkle. Princess from Equestria. It's an honor to meet you" Xander giggled a little and said "Hey. No use for that formal talk. We're all friends here. So just call me Xander and I'll call you Twilight" and smiled big.

With that, Xander turned to Sunset and Robin and said "I've been watching your matches ever since we last saw each other. Seems like you both have leveled up in the world" With that, Robin said "It's not just us" and then he took out his Bey and said "Drago got a power boost too" Just then Sunset took out her Bey and said "Same goes for Phoenix"

Xander smiled and said "So those are the new Phoenix and Drago. I can see they have power" With that, Sunset said "If you want to see it for yourself I can prove it to you" and Xander said "I was hoping you would say that"

With that, they entered the dojo and walked up to a stadium. Twilight took out a piece of paper and a pen ready to take notes of everything she saw. "What are you doing Twi?" Robin asked and Twilight said "I want to know everything about beyblade so I will document everything I see" with an excited smile.

Valt walked over and said "Okay you two. Let's get this match started" and took his place as the ref. "Now Phoenix. Let's do this" Sunset said and put Phoenix in attack mode. "Oh yeah. Let's do this Xcalius" Xander said and got ready.

Twilight looked closely and thought "Xcalius. Sunset told me it was like a sword that could cut down anything. The single blade delivers all that damage in one blow. It's very strong" With that Valt said "Ready, set" and raised his hand.

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" both shouted and both beys entered the stadium at full speed. "Go Phoenix, Solar Launch" Sunset shouted and then Xander shouted "Get them Xcalius. Give them everything you have" and the two beys attacked each other hard.

"Wow. The power is so clear" Twilight said and Robin shouted "Keep going Sunset" The attacks continued and Xander said "Well Well. Seems like you've gotten stronger" and Sunset smiled and said "I could say the same thing to you. But I won't give up that easily"

Xander then laughed and shouted "All right Xcalius. Let's remind Sunset of our power" With that Xcalius went up the slope and straight into the wall and straight into Phoenix. "Dual Xiphoid Saber" he shouted Xander and then Phoenix went up and then down the slope and Sunset shouted "Solar Whip"

The attacks collided hard and they neutralized each other and Twilight said "Is it even?" and Robin said "Xander really doesn't play" The two beys circled and Xander said "This has been fun. I'm having a blast" and smiled big.

But then he got serious and said "But I'm done with this messing around. Come on Sunset. Bring out your magic and use it. Hit me with everything you've got" Sunset then smiled and said "Oh. If you want it you'll get it"

With that Phoenix went towards the rim and accelerated while Sunset shouted "Phoenix" and then Sunset Magical Resonance came out and Phoenix's avatar came along. Xander smiled and said "Yeah. This is what I wanted to see" and then Xcalius started to circle quickly.

"Xcalius" roared Xander and resonated with his bey so Xcalius' avatar came out. With that Phoenix slowed down and Sunset shouted "Ultra Solar Whip" But then Xcalius hit the wall and jumped into the air. Twilight gasped and Robin said "What a jump"

With that Xander shouted "Here we go. Diving Xiphoid Saber" and then Xander swung his hand as if he was swinging a sword and the attacks collided and then Phoenix burst and Sunset gasped.

"Xiphoid Xcalius with a Burst Finish, Xander wins" said Valt and Twilight and Robin gasped. Xander caught his bey and said "Well. Looks like you guys really need to train here" Sunset picked up her bey and said "I was sure we could face Xcalius head on" and she was irritated by the loss.

But just then it started to rumble and Sunset, Robin and Twilight were surprised and wondered what it was. But then Valt giggled and said "Looks like you skipped breakfast Xander" The other three looked at Xander who said "Hey. That match took a lot of energy" and then they noticed that the rumble was coming from Xander's stomach and they were all dumbfounded.

They all ate lunch and Xander said "Ahh. That was good" Valt giggled and said "Seems like the other big ones with you are your appetite" but then Robin said "Valt. You ate just as much as Xander" At that comment the others laughed and Valt blushed a little.

With that Twilight turned to Xander and Valt and asked "So. How did you two meet?" Xander smiled and said "We've been friends for so long. And we've always been rivals" Valt smiled and said "Yep. Even back in kindergarten"

With that the three froze up and Sunset then asked "Wait here now. Are you saying you and Xander are the same age?!" shocked. Xander tilted his head and said "Yeah. Why are they so weird?" and then Robin yelled "Dude, are you kidding me? You're almost twice as big as Valt" but Xander just said "Really?" and Valt started laughing hysterically.

"Okay. Now that lunch is done it's time to train" Xander said and Robin said "Perfect. I want to be ready when I challenge you to our rematch" and Xander smiled. Twilight looked confused and asked "Have you two fought before?"

"Yep. It was really fun" Xander said but then Robin said "Except for the part where I lost" but then Xander said "Hey now. That's just what happens" Robin then smiled and said "Maybe but that doesn't mean I'll let you win again"

With that Xander smiled and said "Now then. Time to start training" With that they all lined up and headed towards a path that went into the forest. "Okay listen closely you two. This round will test your bodies physical instincts and limits. So you better run hard"

"Okay" Robin said, "Got it" Sunset said and Valt said "Ready to go" With that the two of them scolded Valt and Sunset asked "You're coming with us Valt?" Valt smiled at her and said "You can go for it. You two aren't the only ones who want to get stronger"

Xander looked at Valt and said "Ha. That's a blast from the past" Valt smiled and said "Yep. And I won't lose" excitedly but then Xander said "Valt. Have you ever won against me?" With that Valt said "What. Of course I have" and the two stared at each other but then started laughing.

With that the four of them got ready and Twilight asked "Wait. What am I supposed to do?" Xander pointed to another path and said "If you follow that path you will come to a cave with a waterfall. We will get there halfway so just meet us there" With that the four of them were ready and Xander said "Now. Ready, set, Don't forget to watch out for traps, GO" and then Xander and Valt rushed off with Robin and Sunset a little behind because of what Xander said.

While they run they will encounter swinging tree trunks, pitfalls, rivers and a long staircase where they carry around on a tire. By the time they get to the top Sunset and Robin were exhausted. "Come on now. Are you already done?" Xander said teasingly but then they both said "Not a chance" and Valt smiled and said "Good. Otherwise you would have missed the best part"

They look down the steep hill and Xander said "The cave I told Twilight about is down there. When we get there I have a surprise" But then Robin said "But where are we going? I don't see any way?" and then Xander said "Easy. We'll make our own way" and started sliding down the hill.

Sunset and Robin gasped and Valt said "Wait for me" and started sliding down too. Sunset and Robin looked at each other and said at the same time "Last one down is a Bursting Bey" and jumped down and slid side by side.

They had reached the cave and Sunset and Robin were exhausted. "Perfect. You can do it" Xander said and then he smiled and said "But now we're going to make it interesting" Twilight who had been given a shortcut to the cave was confused what Xander meant.

With that Xander saw 4 stacks of 30 stone slabs stacked on top of each other. With that Xander walked up to one and swept his hand straight down and broke all 30 in his stack. Everyone gasped and Xander said "Now it's your turn. The one of you who can break the broken slabs will get to face me first"

Sunset smiled and said "Okay. I'll go first" and walked up to a stack. She gathered her strength and tried to break them she only managed to break 3 and felt a sharp pain in her hand. "Aow. That hurt" Sunset said and Twilight rushed over to her and said "Sunset are you okay" in concern.

"Yes. I'll be fine" said Sunset and then Valt stepped forward and said "Okay. Now it's my turn" Valt got ready and quickly swept his hand down with a roar and he managed to break 11 tiles. Xander whistled and said "Not bad Valt" and Valt smiled and gave Xander a thumbs up.

"Okay Robin. Now it's your turn" said Xander and Robin nodded and stepped forward. Robin took a deep breath and focused and with that he quickly swept his hand down and 12 tiles were broken and the 3rd cracked. The girls gasped and Xander said "Well Well. That was impressive"

Robin looked at Xander and smiled "I broke 12 and cracked one. Looks like I won. That means it's you and me Xander. Let's battle" Xander smiled and said "Yes. I'm looking forward to this"'

But then Robin held up a finger and said "Just one little thing" Xander looked confused and Robin smiled and said "I want the battle to be on a special type of bey stadium. The Shakadera Special" Xander's eyes opened a little but quickly he smiled and said "Now I see. We're a little cocky now. Okay. It's a deal"

They were now back in the dojo and Robin and Xander were now facing each other and between them was a Shakadera Special bey stadium. Twilight looked in surprise and asked Sunset "What kind of bey stadium is this?"

"The Shakadera Special. During The Sword Flame Cup, we fought in that stadium several times. If a Bey hits the spikes, they will take damage and maybe burst immediately" Sunset said and Twilight looked at Sunset in surprise.

"But if it's called The Shakadera Special, then Xander made it. Why would Robin want to fight in a Bey stadium his opponent made?" Twilight said confused and then Sunset said "I guess he wanted to face Xander on his home turf. But I wonder if Drago has enough power to face Xcalius"

Xander looked at Robin intensely and said "Finally. I've been looking forward to our rematch" and Robin said "Not as much as I have. Right Drago" and looked at his Bey. Valt looked at Robin and smiled before saying "Okay you two. First Battle"

Both got ready and Robin separated the blades and Xander noticed it. "Looks like Drago has more tricks than last time. I'm looking forward to it," he thought and then Valt said, "Ready, set."

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and Xander shouted "Go Xcalius. Attack them with everything you've got" and Robin shouted "Go Drago. Nova Launch" and the attacks collided. "It seems so even" Twilight said but Sunset thought "It seems even. But Xcalius' power is still stronger. Robin has to go harder if he's going to win"

Xander laughed and said "Not bad. You're not the same guy I fought last time" and Robin said "Not only that. I'm fully dragon loaded. Show them Drago" With that Drago went up the slope and then straight down and Robin shouted "Nova Breaker"

Xander smiled and shouted "Dual Xiphoid Saber" and the attacks landed hard. They kept pushing but Xcalius managed to push Drago and Twilight back "Oh no. Drago is pushing back" But then Robin smiled and Drago made a quick turn and said "Nova Counter"

The counterattack landed directly and Xcalius was knocked away and Xander gasped and said "Hey. Not bad" Robin smiled but then Xander said "But now it's over" and then he shouted "Xcalius" and resonated with his bey so Xcalius' avatar appeared.

Xcalius attacked Drago and Sunset and Twilight gasped until Xcalius went against the wall and the spikes and jumped up. "It's time. Diving Xiphoid Saber" Xander shouted and the attack quickly dove. Twilight gasped and Sunset shouted for Robin to get away but Just then Robin smiled.

Just then Robin shouted "Nova Reboot" and Drago quickly dodged Xcalius' attack. Xander gasped and Robin shouted "Now Drago" and activated his Magical Resonance and Drago's avatar appeared. Drago and Xcalius circled and Xander shouted "Now Xcalius. Finish them with Dual Xiphoid Saber"

The attack landed hard and Drago went against the wall and Sunset and Twilight gasped. But then Robin shouted "Now Drago" and Drago bounced off the wall and into the air. Robin started roaring and shouted "Go. Nova Dive" and Drago dove right at Xcalius and managed to burst it.

"Nova Drago with a Burst Finish, Robin wins" said Valt and Robin celebrated. Xander looked surprised but then he smiled and said "Alright. Looks like you've leveled up there" and Robin said "Thanks Xander. And I'll work harder"

Sunset looked at Robin and thought "He managed to win against Xander. But Phoenix couldn't match Xcalius' power" Sunset started to walk out of the dojo and Robin and Twilight noticed it and followed. "What's that about?" Xander asked and Valt said "Don't worry. I'm sure they'll be back"

With that Xander smiled and said "In that case. What's a match between the two of us" Valt smiled and they started to battle. Sunset was outside the dojo and Robin and Twilight came right behind her. "Sunset. Are you okay?" Twilight asked and Sunset turned to her.

"I'm okay. But I thought me and Phoenix were stronger than that. But we lost to Xander so hard" said Sunset. But then Robin said "Don't worry Sunset. A loss is nothing special. You just need to get back in there" and smiled.

Sunset looked at Robin and said "It's not the loss. Phoenix and I are still not strong enough. If we're going to defeat Eclipse, I have to be stronger" Twilight looked at Sunset and said "I see what you mean. But how are you going to increase Phoenix's power?"

But then Robin came in and said "You know, there's a difference between power and getting stronger" They both looked at Robin and he said "All beys have their strengths that you can develop. You just need to focus on your own bey's strengths and weaknesses and have them balance each other out"

Just then Sunset realized what she missed and said "Robin. There it is" With that Sunset went back in just as Xander and Valt were done and walked up to Xander and said "Xander. I want another match" Xander looked at Sunset a little surprised but quickly said "I like the glow in your eyes. Okay let's do this"

They took their places and Valt said "Here we go, First Battle" Sunset looked at her bey and thought "Now I get it. I'm not going to win with power. I'm going to win with balance" and put Phoenix into balance mode and just then Valt said "Ready, set."

"3... 2... 1... Let it, Rip!" they both shouted and Phoenix headed towards the center. When it was there Sunset shouted "Solar Guard" and its defenses were up. "Come on Xcalius. Show them what you're really capable of" Xander shouted and Xcalius headed towards Phoenix and attacked again and again.

"Hold on Phoenix" Sunset shouted and Phoenix managed to endure the attack. Xander started to clench his jaw and shouted "You won't be able to hold it up for much longer now" With that Xcalius went up the slope and bounced off the wall and straight towards Phoenix.

"Dual Xiphoid Saber" Xander shouted and the attack landed hard and forced Phoenix away from the center. But then Phoenix quickly walked around the stadium and Sunset shouted "Go. Solar Launch" and Phoenix attacked Xcalius several times.

Xander smiled and said "Looks like you haven't guessed all the surprises you have" and the two beys went towards each other and Xander shouted "Go Xcalius" and Sunset shouted "Go Phoenix" and they attacked each other hard.

At this point Twilight had stopped noticing and just focused on the battle. "This has been fun. But it's time to end it" said Xander and Sunset said "Yes. And we will win" With that they both shouted "Xcalius" and "Phoenix" and Sunset's Magical Resonance came out and both of their avatars came out.

Xcalius went against the wall and bounced upwards while Phoenix went towards the rim and accelerated. Twilight remembers how it ended last time and the two bladers shouted "Ultra Solar Whip" and "Diving Xiphoid Saber"

The attacks collided hard and after a while Phoenix flew towards the spikes. Xander smiled but then Phoenix stopped and accelerated onto the rim and did a lap around the stadium and then straight towards Xcalius. They all gasped and Sunset shouted "NOW. Ultra Solar Counter" and the counter attack landed with such speed and force that Xcalius flew into the spikes and burst.

"Solar Phoenix with a Burst Finish, Sunset is the winner" said Valt and Robin and Twilight cheered. Sunset picked up her bey and said "We did it" Xander looked at Sunset smiled and said "Not bad Shimmer. That's what I was expecting"

Sunset smiled and then Xander said "But I'm not done yet. So let's continue" and Sunset said "Sounds good to me" Just then Robin said "Hey. Now it's my turn" and then Valt said "I want to battle too" and Twilight laughed that everyone was having fun.

When it was evening, Sunset and Robin fought each other and Xander and Valt looked out at the sunset and talked. "So, you came with me to be ready when Eclipse comes and challenges you" said Xander and Valt said "Yeah. She defeated Free. I have to be ready"

"But you have another reason to come with them, Or what" said Xander and Valt looked at him surprised. "I guess I can't hide it from you," Valt said, then added, "I want to make sure we're both ready. Then it will truly be the best battle ever," and looked straight over the horizon.

Back with Hikaru and Hyuga, they were in a 2 on 1 match with Eclipse. Dark Phoenix began to circle quickly around the stadium and Eclipse shouted "Crush them Phoenix" and her dark energy came out and Phoenix's avatar came out.

Phoenix went towards the rim and then Hyuga shouted "Come on Hikaru" and Hikaru shouted "On it Hyuga" With that, Hikaru shouted "Helios" and Hyuga shouted "Hyperion" and they resonated with their beys so Helios and Hyperion avatars came out.

The two twin beys circled and went towards each other and when they collided, several sparks were created and then all the beys went towards each other. "Twin Strike" the brothers shouted but then Phoenix bounced off the wall and straight into the combo attack and Phoenix turned to the side.

"Dark Demon Whip" Eclipse shouted and the attacks landed and just then a piece of Helios and Hyperion broke off before they burst. The brothers gasped and their beys fell into the stadium. Eclipse picked up her bey and started to walk away.

"That was barely satisfying. I hope they would give me more" Eclipse thought and placed a hand on her chest. "This feeling. It's still here. But what is it?" she thought and started to fly as she was out and headed off.
