The leader of the Bolshevik, Vladimir Lenin couldn’t believe what was happening, a copy of Anastasia Romanov is bringing everything down around him. The allies in the church are calling it the work of the devil, but the stories of Baba Yaga being the one behind the resurrection of the princess is causing much confusion.

The old tales of Baba Yaga has her described as a repulsive or ferocious-looking old woman who fries and eats children, while in others she is a nice old woman, who helps out the hero in the story. Causing many to ask why would she be helping the princess, if she was the later. Lenin has been having the newspapers under his control to run with the first, that she’s an evil witch bringing ruin to the country by helping the former princess. Stirring up being the work of the devil and the evil witch, to get the Red Army to fight the Klabautermanns.

Orders of killing any deserters and mass executions of the soldiers who tried in front of other soldiers, is holding the Red Army together but only for so long. Ordering decimation to units to keep the soldiers from deserting only goes so far. The other countries have turn their backs to him and supplies that were meant for the Red Army are being shipped to the White Army instead. All to not make the princess their enemy.

Lenin looks at the list of Russian ships that have disappeared from their ports or out at sea. Each ship disappearing is another blow to moral of the Red Army. He could understand why the other countries are scared of making the princess their enemy if she can sized their ships and make them fight for her, the biggest strength that many countries have be gone. There isn’t much of a navy left now, with so many missing ships and the navy wasn’t that big to begin with.

The people of the city watched as something that hasn’t happen in thousands of years, a Roman army on the march to war. An advance force of the Roman ships are marching to the boarder with Russia. Roman legionaries in cuirass armor carrying large metal shields and carrying machine guns, but all still have a gladius on their belts. Each century having a centurion leading them. Signifers carrying the standard of the century and the aquilifer holds the standard of the legion, all flying the Russian Empire flag on the standards.

They're not marching by themselves as Roman wooden ships on custom built trailers that were train carts on large wheels are being pulled by trucks. The ships are acting as cargo trucks for the army and an endless source of Roman soldiers as they're all crew copies of the Roman ships. The Klabautermanns have been busy making sure that they're prepared for war, having the supplies to wage it.

Theodore Roosevelt Jr from the United State embassy watched the Roman ships advance force leaving ahead of the main army. He looks back from the window to the table in the office he’s using, on the table are the currency they used to buy supplies with from the Ottomans. He has seen Roman coins in collections before and recognized the coins, gold aureus, silver denarius, bronze sestertius, copper as, and other coins from other kingdoms and empires that Rome had trade with.

It's perfectly normal for foreign coins to end up being used in a foreign land, or old coins still being used. And while many couldn't officially be used as legal currency, it doesn't stop people from accepting coins made out of precious metals. From what he has heard the Roman coins have are being melted down to be made into ingots and added to the Ottoman treasury. (1)

The coins on the table are for some friends who collect Roman coins, which some look to be just been minted. Which is true as some of the coins were minted and shipped out on ships to pay soldiers or to infuse new coins in areas that needed more coinage. There are also other goods that the ships were carrying, rolls of silk, ivory, furs, wine, metal ores, grains, armor and weapons, among other things. Sunset had used the goods to trade for supplies from the Ottomans.

The Roman ships have also brought with them knowledge that has been lost for one reason or another. Thanks to so many Roman ships having come from the time where Egypt was still a kingdom, there are plenty of them who can speak ancient Egyptian and read hieroglyphics. There are also ships carrying Egyptian treasures when they sank as well as other treasures from conquered lands. Which were also used to trade and buy things that Sunset needs.

It's a nice distraction from the main problem that Roosevelt is dealing with. The original six frigates, refusing to march with the army group he had chosen to come with him to Russia. Thanks to one of the soldiers making a comment about the sisters all being different races and how a negro could be a ranking officer. Resulting in the soldier being hospitalized with a missing lower jaw and arms. The other soldiers trying to show the negro her place, which caused her sisters to join in on the fight. Ending result, many of the soldiers of white men of the Vaban Company unable to continue to be soldiers or be able bodied men anymore. The ones who weren't around during the one sided fight are now horrified of making any of the American Klabautermanns mad at them.

The Klabautermanns, Old Constitution, USS President, USS Congress, USS United States, USS Chesapeake, USS Old Constellation and the second USS Constellation are all on strike till their demands are met. Which they made it very public and made a big show that they won't tolerate people who think that because of how being a woman and of a different race means that they should let whites walk all over them, isn't going to happen.

Roosevelt has been working to smooth things out but they all know that they're more important and needed more, giving them all the cards. They also pointed out that most of the new warships are like them, where they come in different races with many more who look like native Americans. And being told what to do from whites who think they're better because of the color of their skin, isn't going to end well for the whites. Not to mention that the women of the United States still don't have the right to vote. Which has caused a delay to the invasion and making big waves back home. (2)

President Wilson tried to get them to follow orders, but unlike with the other 3 fleets of Klabautermanns, the United State Klabautermanns refused the order. Pointing out that unlike the other fleets, the one they take orders from are monarchs and the United States has presidents who are elected to office. Completely different system from what the other 3 fleets follow. The only one that they would obey on command was the late, Joshua Abraham Norton, the emperor of the United States and protector of Mexico.

Which Roosevelt asked how could he had been the emperor of the United States. The Klabautermanns pointed out that no one from the government had ever disclaimed his title or tried to impeach him and on his gravestone he's named as the emperor, which is good enough for them. Roosevelt asked the other Klabautermanns and they all confirmed that they would had also recognized Norton as the emperor of the United States. But because he has no heirs, he would be the only royal that the United States would ever have.

The main problem from this mess Roosevelt finds himself in and has to deal with, is that the plan to have Klabautermanns of the United States isn't going to be an easy one. The six oldest of the Klabautermanns fleet of the United States, pointed out that the rest of the fleet wouldn't all be white. They be of different races like the Roman Klabautermanns, thanks to having a large population of different races, which would be reflected onto them. They also wouldn't be as obedient or loyal as the other fleets as the United States is a democracy of elected leaders, and not a monarchy. So they won't tolerate any racist remarks or treatment, and they will refuse orders.

Leaving the United States with a huge problem that if it isn't solved, the deal with Sunset is off. Which Sunset said that if their end isn't fulfilled she won't fulfill her end either. And the news of the mess is spreading, with how the American Klabautermanns being treated badly by US soldiers have now all gone on strike. Which Roosevelt being married long enough knows that it's going to take alot of effort and time to get on their good sides.

1 - Foreign money mostly when coins were used instead of paper money, it wasn’t that rare for a coin from like China to end up in France. Thanks to traders and ships trading goods from one country to another. And when the coins are values are based on gold and silver content, the trust that the traders give to the coin is more important. A tiny shift in precious metal content can lead to huge shift in value; very much like it used to be in real life, in fact.
