I told both the sultan and uncle that while they are all completely loyal to them, it only works as long as they’re treated well and they’re not given idiotic orders, as they are only completely obedient to me their summoner who told them to obey the sultan and uncle. While they are ships given human form they also have independent minds, and telling them to just tolerate white men mistreating them for the color of their skin and them being women, isn’t just them obeying that order. They’re not mindless soldiers that just obey any order. Seeing how your constitution gives the right to throw off the government if their rights are step on by said government. “Sure, you just have to give everyone in your nation equal rights, and if you don’t, you lose your entire navy and have to deal with a group of angry women who have the power and strength of warships in human form. And making them obey against their will is possible, I’m not going to do it for you. Both the sultan and uncle asked for that which I refused to, their fleets will be loyal but only as long as they’re happy with them and their loyalty is rewarded. It’s your problem in how your nation treats its own people, you handle it yourself. And the deal still needs to be done or it’s off. On his end, Wilson holds his head in his hands with the original six warships of the United States all on strike. He looks up at the other people, in the Oval Office who have been listening in.

“You heard her, if we want Klabautermanns of our own changes have to be made. The six are already on most of the front page of newspapers around the world, a huge embarrassment. And Roosevelt has no luck in talking to them either. Send an all negro army unit and make sure they’re given the best equipment we have over in Europe. “What about what they did to those soldiers?” a politician asked.

“What about it? Toss them into a prison? The only ones who can do that would be another Klabautermann and right now none of them are friendly. They’re not human and while they are part of the navy, the only one still in service is Old Constitution. They’re also in another country which were still at war with till the peace talks are over with, and no prison would be able to hold them. And even if we did managed to do that, the other ships might turn against us,” Wilson explains.

“We’re struck,” a navy officer said.

“We can’t do anything to them without hurting us in the long run. We just have to take the lost and do what we can to keep them. There have been many people from other countries talking to the ships about joining their navies. They know that our ships aren’t happy and if press to hard they might join another navy,” Wilson said.

Constantinople -

“We can join the British,” President said to her sisters who are drinking at one of the bars at the docks.

The bar had the usual sailors, ladies of the night, drunks, gamblers, smugglers, reminding the sisters of the old days when they were young. They’re seated at a large table and are drinking and eating, with people around them giving them a wide space as they know who they are. With all the other Klabautermanns around people are wary of getting close to any shapely and buxom woman they see, as the men who tried and are too forceful end up with broken bones.

“At least they don’t make Jim Crow Laws,” Chesapeake said.

“I had high hopes after the civil war but they failed to follow through,” Old Constitution said.

“Such high hopes when we were young of the country,” Congress adds.

“It would still be a shame to just leave it,” United States said.

“There is hope for the children to do better,” Old Constellation said.

“They just have to not care about following the morels and traditions of their parents. What’s important to the old generation just means crap for the next one,” Constellation said.

“The new army group is going to get here tomorrow,” President said who has a portable crystal radio receiver on her now like the rest of her sisters and their niece. Allowing them to listen in on radio transmissions and talk to other Klabautermanns.

“You think they be dumb enough to send another group of white bigots?” Congress asked.

“If they do, we can do the same thing to them like the first ones. Maim enough of them and they be running home,” Chesapeake said.

Around them are spies from different countries who have been watching and tailing the rogue US Klabautermanns. With them being displeased with how the US army group had treated them, they’re demanding a new army group that doesn’t have bigots in it. If not they will refuse any orders given to them, and with them openly talking about going to another country, the agents of said countries are doing their best to woo them.

Next Day -

Stepping off the transport ship USS Duck, James Gotham looks around him as he and the other black soldiers from different company’s to make an all black army regiment of 3,000. The news of what happened to the first army unit that was suppose to march with former President Roosevelt to Russia had already spread all across Europe. White soldiers missing limbs, eyes, jaws, and maimed by the American Klabautermanns for being racist to them. The soldier, lieutenant Frank Dam who started off the mess is missing his arms and lower jaws. (2)

The 7 American Klabautermanns are wooden sailing ships and maimed most of the regiment of 3,000 by themselves. Making it clear that the modern warships would be even stronger but because of the fact that many of them wouldn’t be white, would cause tension with the white soldiers who are bigots and look down on women. Which happen with the first regiment of white soldiers, and the 7 American Klabautermanns are refusing to obey orders till their demands are met. Namely having soldiers who aren’t bigots and know better to make them mad.

Which is why an all black regiment was created by pulling every black man in the US army around Europe into one unit. With the white officers being personally hand picked who aren’t bigots and were shown pictures of the soldiers who set off the Klabautermanns. Who are needed more than any human personal, no punishment would be given if any of them decide that any US soldier does something that causes them to lose it.

The soldiers who were maimed by the US Klabautermanns are still hospitalized and the ones who weren’t are all scared of the Klabautermanns. Many are scared of leaving on the ship they came on as the Klabautermann of the ship is a black woman who appeared for a brief time thanks to Old Constitution allowing the ship’s klabautermann appear for all the humans onboard to see. And any accidents that happen on the ship is blamed on the ship who doesn’t want the soldiers on her.

James saw the former president Roosevelt personally greeting him and the others. And with him is a tall buxom Mexican woman wearing an old navy uniform, she’s looking at all the soldiers. A younger more slender Mexican woman is walking around looking at the soldiers and glaring at the white officers. She stops and stands next to the older woman and James could see that they must be related with them looking alike.

“Well?” Old Constellation asked her daughter.

“USS Duck said they’re ok,” Constellation said to her mother.

“Roosevelt make sure the whites know what’s expected from them,” Old Constellation said.

“I will,” Roosevelt said knowing that if this doesn’t work the deal is off. Seeing how Sunset is moving out to Russia with or without him.
