Chapter 2

Kira explained the plan to Twilight very carefully. It took several hours and they worked out all the details, well all they could plan for previously anyway, and it was getting late. There was a knock on Twilights bedroom door. " Twilight? You in there?" she could hear spike ask from the other side of the door.

"Go ahead. Open the door." Kira said to her as he gestured her over. She hid the Death Note before trotting over to the door. As she opened it she saw spike standing there carrying a packet of potato chips.

"Um...Pinkie pie stopped by and dropped these off. She had a party set up this evening and was so busy planning she had to mail out the invitations. Derpy misplaced half of them, your one included, so she stopped by to let you have some of the leftover party food." She explained passing her the bag.

"Thanks Spike" She said even though all she could think was 'How come Spike can't see Kira?'. After he had left she locked the door and went back to her conversation." How come he couldn't see you?" She asked generally confused at the whole situation.

"Only ponies who have touched the Death Note can see the shinigami. That's a useful thing to consider in the future. remember you're the Death Note holder, and I won't do anything unless you tell me too. If your in a tight situation your gonna have to ask for my help. I'm not going to just do whatever I can. That would be too easy." Kira laughed.

"So baceicly, I'm the boss and you aren't going to do anything unless I tell you to and wont tell me anything unless I ask?" She questioned.

"Pretty much, although I will be helping you think of plans. I've been a Death Note user doing exactly what you're doing, so I know how to get out of situations. If you're I a tight situation I may suggest  way to get out as you're the only on that can hear me. Also can you create a magical lock that can only be broken by the caster?"

"Yeah I think I've seen a book around here with a spell like that in it." She replied.

"Good. Make a fake diary that you wouldn't want anyone seeing and also make a fake bottom for a draw. Keep the Death note in the bottom half and the fake diary in the top. Then use that magic lock on the draw. If anyone does manage to break it they will only find the diary which will satisfy any curiousness as to why it was locked in the 1st place." Kira told her.

"I thought I was the boss?"

"I thought you wanted help."

"Good point. I'll do it."

"Good. Can...I...have the potato chips?" Kira asked sheepishly

"Sure. I don't like that flavour much anyway." She answered as she startd looking at the shelves that had books to do with magic on them." Kira grabbed them and started to eat away.'Wow...I'm like Ryuk with his apples now...DON'T CARE!' He thought just before starting to eat them faster.

A FEW DAYS LATER AT THE CANTERLOT CASTLE THRONE ROOM

"Order! Order!" Princess Celestia demanded to the large court of police and RSF, Royal Special Forces(Pony equivalent of FBI), "ORDER!!!" She screamed. Everypony stopped making noise." Thank you. Now will somepony please tell what this meeting was called about?" she asked. Micro Scope, the representative of the forensics department, stood up.

"Well princess, as I'm sure you are aware, over the past few days criminals have started to die from heart attacks. The group of ponies its effecting and the Similarities in the deaths have lead us to believe that something or somepony is causing these deaths. We can't keep on just saying there a coincidence like we did the 1st time." She explained.

"I suppose you are correct. We cant just let whatever this is continue like it has been. We need to find out what is doing this and stop it before we're too late."Princess Celestia said understandingly." I will take the necessary precautions to tackle his. Everyone is dismissed.".

PONYVILLE

"That's all of Equestrias major criminals dead." Twilight said to herself as she marvelled at the pages of names with Kira eating potato chips behind her."Be quiet will you" she demanded to him.

"No.I can eat my chips all I want. You cant stop me!" He said.

"I can stop buying them." She replied smugly.

"...Fine. I'll quieten down." Kira said admiring defeat.

"Good now-"

"Twilight!" Spike shouted from downstairs cutting her off. She hopped out of bed and went downstairs leaving Kira to pig out on the bed.

"Yes Spike?" She asked as she opened the door.

"Look at this." He said passing her a newspaper.

The recent deaths of criminals are now being classified as murder. The police believe somepony is causing these deaths. There is a task force being set up in Ponyville as it is easy to get to and is at the centre of Equestria. It is open to the general public for anypony to join.

"I think you should join" Spike suggested.

"I'll think about it." She said before grabbing the newspaper in her magical grasp, turning around and going back inside her room. Once Spike was back where he couldn't hear her she turned to Kira and help up the newspaper.

"Ooh they figured it out faster than I thought. Allright the next step in the plan is to join the task force." He said opening the next bag of potato chips.

"Why?"

"You can keep tabs on what they know and maybe try to steer them in the wrong direction. Also be very careful to lock your room when you leave with the same spell you used to the draw. That way people cant get in the check your room if you get under suspicion. Also, I wonder what name they will give the pony that's doing this so they can refer top him as that. It was Kira for me, which is why that's my name right now, but what will it be for you?" He thought out loud as they left the library and headed town hall.

Authors note:

Well can anyone give me any suggestions what the task force will refer to the killer as? I got nothing.

Also, Kira is transforming into Ryuk. Don't worry he wont be as goofy as he is made to seem in this chapter throughout the whole thing, he will be turning in and out from his dark evil smartass form later, don't you worry.
