I would expect them to be stronger considering that they are a much higher level than me
A lot of their stats are focused on CHA, and judging by their singing, they could be bards? That tracks with the Siren motif and ‘Mind Control Song’ that was talked about in the status
Also should mention, that now that [Observe] is at Level 20, it let's me see a glimpse into what a person is thinking… but the Mastery for it is now slowed to a crawl as well, no matter how many times I observe something, I can barely get it above 0.1% mastery a day
Anyway, I put my foot down and stare at the three Sirens and begin to ask them questions
They were silent for my first question, so I guess I'll reiterate

There was a small silence… before we both started bursting out in laughter

As I continue to ponder the probability of Luna having the [Sleep Resistance] Skill, I take a shower and change into the Crystal Prep Academy Uniform
Dress shirt and dress pants with a reddish-purple wool vest and blueish tie
“Looking Dapper” I say to myself in the mirror, as I take my long dark greenish hair and tie it into a pony tail, not getting all of it, so a small bit dangles in front of my face
Walking into my room and getting two dot earrings, as well as some black nail polish on my hands, and lip balm on my… Well, lips
“Need to brush my teeth” I think out loud, and so I did, before finally putting the finishing touches on my look. A pair of black cosmetic glasses to complement my Green eyes and some grey woolen arm warmers to help my complexion look less pale and… Well, as if I never spend more than 10 seconds outside at a time
Now I look good
It's turned 7 AM, so it's best for me to make my way by now. Don't wanna be late
Picking up my phone from charge, I take my wireless earphones and put them in, pumping phonk music straight into my cranium (more specifically ‘Laidback’ by Memphis Cult)
I take my backpack and stuff it into my ‘Inventory’, before running outside, I unlock my bike and begin on my way to school

As if someone sucked the colour out of something previously very lively

Well, time to stop waiting round the outside and actually get in this place…
Walking in, I am instantly greeted by a bright pink skinned woman with multi-coloured hair consisting of a white chocolate like creme colour, bright pink and finally a light lavender
She was wearing a buttoned up darkish blue blazer, an aquamarine shirt and greenish blue pencil skirt, with golden accessories
As well as a Crystal Heart pin over the left side of her chest

I tried to restrain myself, but before I could even think, I got off the bike and dashed forwards…

And as I thought, the horde of zombies thinned out to let me face them one at a time
Putting my guard up, I calm my breathing and wait for the most opportune moment to strike…

Here it is, the dreaded info dump chapter, I made This one a little longer in order to make up for the fact that its mostly dialogue

I tried running forwards to the ball, but Indigo got to it first, nothing new
I had played football before, me sharing the blood of someone so famous in that world it was kind of a given to not be an absolute noob
I'm just gonna lose, to a hat trick, it's easy enough If you just act like your giving it your all and lose
It's too boring…
I chased after Indigo Zap, her hair a multi saturated rainbow of blues
She was wearing the basic P.E uniform
She rushed towards the goal and scored…

I release a sigh as I keep the ball with me, dribbling in an amateurish fashion

Due to the little people taking notice of me, I had managed to move into a favourable position to score without many people blocking the way of the pass
I saw the sweat roll down the guy's face as I shot the ball towards me…

I tried to take a deep breath to remove the blush on my face, as I turned away from Tree Hugger’s face
“You… Whatever” I say, the smirk completely wiped off my face
I turned and sat on a nearby bench, my legs and arms feeling as if they were about to kill me
She came over and sat next to me, and I looked over her
She had beautiful lilac eyes, and an incredibly pretty face…
Ugh, okay I admit it, she was exactly my type…
I think I may have a crush… nah, I don't fall THAT easily…
“You good? Looking a little lost there” FUCK! Did she notice I was staring? Okay, just play it cool
“Yeah, I'm fine, just tired, and a bit stressed” fucking nailed it
“Oh really? Why don't you come over to my yoga classes sometime? They're free, every weekend at my house” she says with her melodically rough voice
“Oh, yeah, sure, I'll be there… where do you live exactly…?” I ask, and she holds out her hand

Behind him was a guy with brown hair that faded into a bright yellow, with a joyful and happy go lucky smile. He was currently leaning his chin on Nagi's shoulder, backseat gaming…I didn't even need the system for this one, he was-

“Don't be so formal~ we might as well be Yo-chan's brothers, so treat us like uncles!” He spoke in a happy tone, very much exactly how I would imagine he would do
And also…
“Yo-chan…?” I turned to look at Uncle Yoichi, whose face was now flush red in embarrassment. He turned around and yelled at Bachira
“Don't call me that in front of him! I'm supposed to be the cool uncle, you don't help my image when you do things like that!”
But in reply, Bachira just started repeating “Yo-chan” in a sing song voice
Eventually, I joined in, and so did my mother…
Even Nagi joined! Although his voice was rather monotone, but that only added to the humour of it all
And we got home!
Apparently, the rest of the Blue Lock 11 are staying at a hotel, with Uncle Yoichi, Bachira-san and Nagi-san staying at our house
Uncle Yoichi unpacked everyone's things, and to be honest, it kinda looked like he was used to being the ‘mom' of the group. Speaking of mom, she was already passed out on her bed.
She normally has very long nights at the hospital, so she's made it a habit to sleep whenever she can
“Okay! That's all done I suppose” I hear Uncle Yoichi say with a smile, him finishing off unpacking everything
“Thanks Yo-chan~” I hear Bachira-San say in a upbeat voice, Nagi-san doing the same (but in his classic monotone voice)
Speaking of Nagi, didn't he have white hair?
Whatever, he probably just dyed it
I felt my phone buzz from a message by Luna, and took it our to see she sent me like, 50 tiktoks about something
They must have been sent during my time outside
I normally have my mobile data turned off because… Well, it's expensive to keep it on all the time
“Yeah I'm not watching any of those” I say to myself, before I feel something hit me in the back of the head
*THUNK*
“Ow” I look behind me to see Uncle Yoichi, and a ball rolling towards him
“Your mother said you were interested in the charity match, mind if we play a little practise game? To see what level your at”
“Oh sure! That sounds like fun. It's only 4:30, so I have a lot of time…”

And my VIT had levelled up by one when I accidentally faceplanted after tripping on the ball
“You good there?” I looked up at my Uncle's figure, to see not a single drop of sweat on his body, and that same goofy smile on his face
“Yeah, I'm fine…”
“It's getting late you know, we should probably head back, tomorrow is a school day” I say, looking down at my phone screen, seeing that it was now 7:00, and getting dark fast
“Yeah, you're right, let's go” He says as he begins to walk to our house
Nagi and Bachira follow him from behind. Nagi was now playing on his phone again, and Bachira was watching over his shoulder, again

“Huh? Why, I saw you doing that teleportation and flying and those magic blue arrows, aren't you a mage”
“Hah, as much as I would like to be able to say I could teleport, or that I'm a mage, I can't. I'm a martial artist, it's just that Celestia, who actually is a Magician, taught me a few tricks that make my life easier. That ‘Teleportation’ was just a basic cloning spell that had been deactivated from some self-inficted damage, real Teleportation is an advanced and stupidly expensive magic”
“Well even so, those basics are still very helpful… also I don't wanna deal with new people, my social battery was absolutely decimated by my Uncle and his… eccentric friends” I say slouching back on the seat, reminiscing about Bachira and Nagi’s peculiar behaviours before I hear the door of Sugar Cube Corner ring, signaling that someone had entered…
I instinctively look back at the three figures who just walked in. They were dressed in hoodie that covered their heads and faces, as well as sweatpants that made them seem tired
I could see that they were… not human, to say the least

Finishing off the Sundae that Luna bought before she went poof, I got out of my seat, and saw a strange green mist covering the floor, that was getting funnelled towards the red ruby necklaces the trio had on
“Hey, you three!” I yell out, walking towards the Siren's
The turned their heads to me in utterly surprise, probably from the fact that I recognise their existence and am not currently exuding the green mist like all the other people here
“Uh… yes?” Adagio replied first, before she got a kick in the face

“WHAT THE FUU-” I began to yell out as I fell through the mirror and into god know where
I felt my head smash against the floor with a loud thump, as I lay there unmoving for a bit, my head hurting like absolute hell

Slowly, I got up from my fall, standing on my two legs
I felt my centre of gravity be dramatically changed, as I fell forwards immediately
“Fuck!” I yell, as the floor begins to get closer to me
I put out my hands to help me from my inevitable falling fate, and I see some… hooves?
I must have hit my head harder than I thought, because I looked around and I saw a bunch of… horses?
Oh, and my vision was fading as well
“I'm gonna fucking kill myself” I mumble under my breath before collapsing onto the floor

We've been standing here at the mirror every night since Twilight left two days ago to get the element of magic back
With tired eyes, I stamped myself awake, realising that the magic mirror was beginning to glow a shimmering silver
“-UUUUCK” Crashing into the floor, the lay on the floor for a bit before trying to get up on both hind legs, before falling yet again
“Fuck” Well this… Stallion? Mare? It looked like an odd combination of both to be perfectly honest, was wearing some incredibly strange clothes that hid their bodily features so much that it was almost impossible to tell anything about it. Other than its mane was a beautiful shade of dark oak green, and its coat peach-like in colour
Everyone was awakened by the sight, and we cautiously looked at the pony who came through… only to see… they had passed out
Whilst their mane looked short at first glance, it was actually rather long, just hidden within a complex braid
Their tail was short, and quaint, and it was to our surprise that they were wearing Thigh High socks…
“That's a rather bold thing Ta’ be wearin’ outside” Said Applejack from my side. Now socks like those are normally preserved for more… intimate and private moments in mind, so it was certainly a shock
“Yeah, no kidding!” Rainbow Dash inputted her VERY important and thoughts on the situation
“Send… Them?...to the infirmary until further notice” I Heard Luna say from behind. Well at least it's not only me whose having trouble with the gender of this pony…
The royal guards came fast, and took the pony away just as fast
It wasn't that long, only an hour or two, before Twilight had returned to us
After doing so, we recounted the events that occurred on both sides, how Twilight had defeated Sunset Shimmer using the magic of Friendship, how she went to a party… and how she had to leave her new friends for an incredibly long time…
We had then told her of the Pony that had went through the portal

Waking up, I found myself in a white infirmary… filled with horses in golden armour

“Hey, do you know where the bathroom is?” I say to a nearby armoured horse
He calmly explained to me where I could find the nearest one, after entering the bathroom, I quickly took some clothes from my inventory and got changed
I was now almost completely naked, if not for the purple wife beater and black shorts… (and my striped thigh highs lmao)
Walking back into the infirmary, I yawned
So, let's recap now that I'm no longer bothered by this overwhelming heat
I fell through the mirror, it must've been an enchanted item, perhaps a portal to another world because of the horses?
Looking around at the titles and names for most of these horses, I saw that they were all between 30-35, and all had the same titles of [Royal Guardspony], though I did see one named “Flash Sentry” who was level 38 with the title of [Guardspony School Ace]
They all had a stone gaze, staring intently directly in front of them, much like the guards of royalty should
Though I feel as if they were trying their absolute hardest to “not look at me” Rather than “look professional”

Okay, I then hit my head on the floor and passed out

And having horse fur on our bodies that haven't evolved with clothes in mind really makes you overheat easy when wearing an extra layer
I'm so fucking thirsty, I pulled some water from my inventory, to the suprise of some of the Royal Guardsponies around me
“Hey, do any of you know the way back ho-” I was about to ask, before the door burst open, and in came Twilight. Or a horse-ified version of her at least
I stared at her with blank eyes…
“Twilight Sparkle? When did you get here? No, scratch that, when did you become so strong? And what's with that Princess of Friendship shit? Your telling me you got coronated, got introduced to the abyss, and became a half decent mage all in a few days?” I had asked her the initial questions that formed at my mind after staring at her title for a bit
She was purple. No- lavender coloured, with dark blue and muted redish pink striped hair (mane?) and tail. She also seemed to be the only one with both a horn AND wings
Her face, although horse-like in nature, displayed a look of confusion, before a look of understanding, and finally a look of relaxation
“Oh I'm sorry, I'm not Twilight Sparkle- well, I am, but I'm not your Twilight?” She was about to trail off but I stopped her
“Okay, so alternate reality- perhaps parallel universe?” a trope usually found in games and manga, easy enough to understand
“Uh- yeah, no exactly that” Twilight looked a bit surprised at how well I was taking this
“Look, I've been involved with weirder” that seemed to clear up nothing and only caused to further her surprise
“Look, all I know is that Prince- Vice-Principal Luna told me to retrieve you from this place within the hour of entering, and it's already been 55 minutes, so-”

A ball of blue energy formed at my hoof and launched itself towards Twilight. She easily swatted it away, and the guards nearby became on edge, realising that their beloved princess had been attacked by someone she had just saved. Such a precarious situation i've forced myself into
But whatever
The ball of energy smashed into shield she had formed instantly, doing little to no damage to the purple princess, but it HAD managed to make her lose focus long enough for an escape
I had enough practise walking when going to the bathroom back, and I effectively learned how to run by watching and copying what Twilight was doing behind me
“G-GET BACK HERE!” i hear her yell as i continued to run
I heard the stomping run of a large group of ponies, most likely being royal guards who tried to catch me
I felt a flood of dopamine and adrenaline rush in, and I let out one of the biggest shit eating grins i've ever produced

Nice! But I can't help but wonder what EGO does…
As i was lost in thought, running through the castle hordes, I could smell someone trying to hit me
Almost instinctually, i ducked my head, and a beam of purple energy passed by
I turned back to the Unicorn-Pegasus hybrid, only to see a panicked expression on her face
Was that meant to kill me? Wow! She really ain’t pulling any punches!
I continued to gallop away, and she continued to shoot spells at me, but every time, i had managed to dodge them after “Sniffing them out”
How weird… OH! This reminds me of the story of when Uncle Yoichi first joined Blue Lock! And how he could “Smell the scent of the goal”! That turned out to be a type of spacial awareness… maybe i have a form of that?
“Listen Mr. Isagi! Maybe we can talk about this?” I heard her yell from behind and i just ignored her

I've been using this [Spacial Awareness] to dodge past lazar beams for a minute now, so why now?

The aura seemed to be attacking me, as a cold sweat ran down my body

“Some times i worry for Jin…” Said a dark blue haired woman with beautiful eyes of a similar shade
“How so?” spoke an older man with a similar face, hair and eyes
“Well, they seem to have trouble connecting with kids their own age…” she sighed, taking a sip of the warm tea in her hand, trying to find the words “It’s like they live in their own little world… devoid of anyone else”
“Really? He seemed fine to me…” the man replied
“They are just really good at hiding it…”
“Oh, Sorry, you know how i am with this pronoun stuff” the man responded with a light hearten chuckle, which seemed to get a good reaction out of the woman, before becoming serious yet again “… but to be fair, thats to be expected h-... they’re the only survivor after all…”
The woman grimaced…
“...The only survivor of the Ichimonji Basement Incident, yes i am… aware” The woman sighed, and her expression softened “If i ever die-”
"Don't say that-” the man interrupted adamantly
“-If I die… please lead him into a better life than the one we have now… I may not be his biological mother but-”
“No, stop that. You're perfect. You're the best mother anyone could ever ask for, no matter what anyone says”
They both seemed to come to a stop. And the world was as silent as the night after its conception. When it was completely devoid of life
But the room was oddly filled with a weird feeling of light
Of hope
Both of them were sitting in the living room. So they both had a direct view of the street in front of them
And they just so happened to be sitting on the couch that had its back to the window
So they had absolutely no way to dodge the incoming out-of-control truck hurtling towards them

I wasn't quite sure who this little midget was, nor why he was being chased by Twilight, but what I did know, was that they needed to be caught, and they're right in front of me
We stared at eachother for a good 4 or 5 seconds, before I made the first move, trying to pin them down, before they leaped upwards, landing on my back before i could even do anything

I quickly try and shake the pony off of me, but they jump off before I could do so

"Oh Now You’ve Done It!” I yell, rushing forward. I’m the fastest, there is no way in Tartarus some unicorn would be faster than me
But, before i could even realise it, i saw a hoof in front of my face, and i was hit with the full force of my attack straight into the muzzle
I fell straight into the floor, and stared straight into the eyes of the pony who beat me… by all accounts, it made absolutely no sense. I was faster, stronger and definitely older… but this teenager managed to beat me? A wonderbolt? Impossible!
Staring into the eyes of the pony, i notices something strange… their eyes were in a strange shape, formed like the lens bit of a camera… with an outer ring shaped like a reel of film… what the hell!
The pony’s eyes were so unfocussed… No, probably the exact opposite, so hyper focussed on one thing that everything else unrelated to it becomes an unneeded action that is discarded for efficiency
"What the buck…” the words that escaped my mouth were totally unconscious, but I heard a pair of hoofsteps behind me, and that seemed to snap the pony out of their trance, as their eyes returned to its normal green and their tongue rolled back into its mouth
Staring towards the direction that the hoofsteps came from, I heard the mysterious pony speak before anyone else

This confirmed my suspicions of using a skill and using it naturally are different, with different rules

Getting driven home by Luna was a bit awkward, the radio was turned on and on full blast

Due to all the shit happening in my life, with the training and levelling up with Luna, Studying the basics of Abyss Culture with Celestia, and the search for the perpetrator of the “Incident”, i completely forgot about how i was supposed to go to her yoga class a while back… or the fact i had her number and could call her to talk about my absence…

I got through some important plot points and the main story is finally beginning to start, instead of stagnating like before, so i think thats a win for me.
Thankfully I didn't have to continue with my original train of thought, as the doors swung open and out came Goldfish, Flamefish and Nightfish singing a magically enhanced song

The other team also has 9 people total, Rin Itoshi, Karasu, Kenyu Yukimiya, Jin Kiyora, Kunigami, Barou, Oliver Aiku, Itsuki Wakatsuki and a guy named Arthur as Goalkeeper
All in all, my team would be perfectly based around Isagi, Nagi and Shidou clashing, and the opponents is based in Barou and Rin… and Kunigami, clashing

It wasn't my imagination, smoke was literally rising from his body, and I saw the ball burst into flames as he passed across to me

I have no idea why I did what I did, but the moment he ran past me, I kicked the ball forwards, not to the goal, but more of a pass to a player in the air

The burnt footsteps on the floor had dissipated, as if it was nothing but a mirage

As Jin noticed my predicament, he turned and held out his hand to help me up
I held his hand and pulled myself up, before grabbing onto his shoulders and began to speak

As soon as I broke the silence, I had heard hundreds of cheers from the stands echoed throughout the field
I had somehow managed to snap Jin out of that weird state, as their eyes now focused

Forfeiting the safety of a normal goal in exchange for the miniscule chance to burn yourself into everyone's mind for eternity

It suddenly struck me, exactly why they would do something like that!
I've been thinking about it like showing off, but it's not really. In those few moments where he was ‘on fire’, it was when he was restricted. When the odds are against his favour, he was able to reach his top performance and surpass everyone else on the field
How the hell would I reach something like that myself…?
If I was in the situation he was in, what would I have done?
Frankly I don't think I could've done anything even remotely similar to him
I need to think, have I ever been like him!?

I mean I guess that one time during the Equestria Games, where we were up against Crystal Prep, like always

“So that's the brat Lulu picked up?” He mumbled to himself, staring at the flames surrounding Jin’s body
“So he has a passion type Ego? That’s stupidly common, why the hell would she pick him…” he took a closer look at the kid “And it seems they have no clue about materialisation, I can barely feel the flow of their mana, and they haven't got a speck of Chi! …What the hell has she been teaching them!?”
He pulled out a phone from one of his pockets, before calling a number
The recipient answered almost immediately
“Lulu! Been a while hasn't it?” He said with a arrogant nonchalance
“M-Mr Wu-” The voice responded from the phone, before being interrupted
“Yeah yeah, I'm gonna stop you before you start rambling about how much you missed your master” He cut her off with a sigh “Anyway, I'll be visiting soon. I want to check out that student of yours…”
there was an awkward silence between the two
“...Y-yes Sir…” The voice sounded… Frightened? She unwillingly accepted the sudden request

Last time it felt like I was doing something new by finding the fastest path to achieve my goal, but this time it was like I was…

Not to mention the visible differences, back in pony world, it felt like I was looking at the world through a camera
Everything I did I thought out as much as I possibly could
But just then I was moving through instinct, doing everything my being was telling me to do
That last move wasn’t even from football, it was a Taekwondo Spin Kick that I had seen someone do on Youtube
I rub my forehead as I begin to remember the training I was put through by Luna…

The bitch forced me to watch a shit ton of martial artists use their fancy moves and copy it in real life
Which is bullshit, I had to guess and practise the moves a shit ton because I wasn’t able to get a good grasp on the moves without observing it directly
Combined with the “Physical Conditioning from Hell”, as she called it…
I shudder at the painful memories
As well as that, she taught me her own MMA from the bottom up
She refused to teach me any of the more complex moves because apparently my foundation was pretty much non-existent
Luna’s training was literally just physical conditioning in the morning, fighting a bit of monsters in the afternoon to fight against the adrenaline addiction and watching youtube videos all night
Not to mention, I spent nearly the entirety of the month in a time warped I.D, which was about three times slower
So in reality, I spent three fucking months going through hell on Earth…
I was also forbidden from using any of the stat points I gained because, in her own words, “It’ll put my foundations outta wack”

My insides felt like they were twisting up in knots, I ran to the closest trashcan and got rid of my breakfast, brunch and lunch all at once
“You done? Okay because we need to get ready like right now” She says in an annoyed tone
“Can’t you give me a little break you demoness!” I shout back at her, before I feel a sharp blunt impact on the top of my head

I heard a shit ton of clambering downstairs, as well as a bunch of metal pots and pans crashing together
First thing I did was get naked, taking off the tacky football uniform
Second thing I did was get changed into something much more stylish
A pair of navy blue oversized jeans that were kept just below the bellybutton with a belt, some black platform boots, a black high neck sleeveless crop top, a black leather jacket to add texture
I took a new hairband from my collection and put my hair up into a ponytail, using my fingers to take some of my hair out of it to form bangs
I looked into my reflection
“Not gonna lie, I ate” I say, walking downstairs and presenting myself to Luna who was cleaning up around the house
She sighed and brang one of her hands to her hair, pulling out a few threads and throwing them forwards
"Biàn"
In a puff of smoke, three other Luna's spawned themselves in front of her, helping her out
"Ahem" I cough into my fist as she turns to look at me
She deadpanned at me
“You look like a slut”
“Good to know” I reply and wander to the couch, sitting down
“Get off your ass and help me out dumbass!” she yelled, smacking me across the head for the second time today

A smile was plastered on his face, showing off his white teeth

My mouth was wide open, and so were my eyes

“Oh, well, uh nice to meet you, Sir” I instantly change my tone of voice to be more formal in response, my posture subconsciously straightening out
“Master, where did you get this info from…?” I heard Luna speak, her face contorted in concern
“Abyss Mart” He said with a yawn, leaning his head back on the top of the couch
“And, what did they tell you about Jin…?” She asked, her fingers tapping on her lap in rhythmic manner
“Only that you had a student” He replied with nonchalance, fiddling with the strings of his hoodie “Where did you even find this kid by the way? I doubt you would teach someone who doesn't have potential, but from what I saw he was a pretty common find…”
“They” I correct absentmindedly, as his eyes roll to look at me
I felt a chill run down my spine as sweat droplets formed on my face
He seemed to be judging me a bit before laughing a bit
“My bad” He spoke coldly, but I could tell there was a hint of actual apology in his tone
“Uh, well… They're an innate ability user who I found online through some circumstances…” She sounded like she was trying to word her sentences carefully
“Online…? Well, I have just one question. How long have you been hiding them from me?” He turned his head to Luna, resting his chin on his hand

“Lulu~” A near malicious grin spread across his face “Are you lying to me?”
“I’m being serious” She spoke as if she was completely unaffected, as the pressure was released from me
I coughed and wheezed, my hand on my chest. Small amounts of blood shooting from my mouth onto the floor

“They have a Demonic Mind” as those words escaped Luna’s lips, the situation flipped
With a smug smile plastered onto her face, Wukong’s eyes widened to a near impossible degree

“I may be a little weird, but calling my mind Demonic is a bit much” I say, as the mood switches to a more light hearted one

“Well, that's all my questions answered, I'll be on my way” Wukong said, standing up and stretching his muscles a bit
“Huh? Already?” I asked, completely forgetting about him forcing me to cough up blood mere moments ago

Luna shot me her 53rd glare today
“As much as I would like to stay, I've got some unfinished business to take care of” He said, as he began to walk to the door
“Oh, before you leave. What should I call you?” I ask and he stops
“Eh, Wukong is fine” He opens the door
“That seems a bit too casual…” If Luna is my Master, and Wukong is my Masters Master then… “How about Grandmaster?”
He shot me a surprised look, before walking up and smacking me on the back playfully
“That's good enough for me!” He laughed and left just as quickly as he came
I let out a deep breath and collapsed onto the sofa
As much as I tried to be casual, there's only so much I could do, even with ‘Gamers Mind’
“Oh, what's with that Demonic Mind thing?”
“To put it as simply as possible, it's just a term for those with something inhuman about them. For you it's your Kinesthetic Sense. It's caused by mana leaking into the womb when your a baby. It's stupidly rare and impossible to artificially recreate. When it affects your brain or senses, it's called ‘Demonic Mind’, but when it affects your physical body, it's called ‘Heavenly Constitution’” She said with a sigh, the tension in her body finally being released after such an intense situation “Most Top Rankers have em. Just know it's a good thing”

Basically it's like a MMORPG and the rankings in that. Apparently there are also Rankings for specific countries as well
Luna said that those in the Top 100 are strong enough to wipe humanity off the face of the Earth in hours

“Well what do you want me to say!? I just had a character from an old ass book come by to say hello!” I yelled back “How does that even work!?”
“Well, Journey To The West started as a retelling of real world events but someone stole the original copy and sold it to normal people, who just assumed it was a fictional text” She said, getting up and stretching her weary limbs “Not like it matters, in all honesty, it helped Wukong become even stronger by making him ascend to godhood”
How the hell would a book ascend someone to godhood…?

“Oh and what the fuck is up with aura? You told me I'd come to understand it in the match but I have no fucking clue what it is…” I got up myself, walking into the kitchen to snack a bit
I pulled out some biscuits from a cupboard and began to munch down on them
“Well… I don't wanna explain it~! Just saying that shit sounds cringe as hell!” She complained, pouring a hot beverage into from a thermos into a cup
“But ‘Demonic Minds’ and ‘Heavenly Constitutions’ don't?” I brang a biscuit up to my mouth
“Not at all” she snatched it out of my hand and dipped it into her tea
“There is something mentally wrong with you…” I respond to her snack stealing by picking up her cup and taking a sip

“Fine… Aura is a representation of your EGO put into the real world. Basically something that represents you. It's invisible and can only be seen by those with ‘Aura Eyes’ or involved with the Abyss. For you it would be camera's. It usually shows itself whenever you do something you like. I see it happen whenever you use your copy” She explained, rubbing her finger across the rim of the cup like she was thinking “And if you flow mana into it, you get Materialisation, making your aura physically affect the world”
“So, like a Jojos Stand?” I question, taking another biscuit into my mouth
“Kinda, but a bit more abstract. When Materialised, your Aura basically becomes a super strong power 100% unique to you, so most Rankers can utilise aura”
“That doesn't seem cringe at all… Which means you hid this for another reason… What is it?” She looks away, taking a sip of her tea before sighing
“You caught me. The reason that I didn't wanna tell you this is because… Aura Users are weak as hell!” She shouts
“What-?” I was immediately interuppted by Luna ranting her ass out
“Every single time I fight one, they place so much focus on their Aura and how powerful it is, buts it's just weak as hell! Sure it may be semi-powerful, or else I wouldn't use it, but when you focus only on aura it's just ass! The worst part about it is that Aura is cool as hell! it adds variety to your arsenal and can put off opponents, plus having a Aura Space is incredibly useful, but there's so many plebs who go all in on it and turn out shit!” She was mad as fuck, not letting me get a word in edgewise as she assaulted every Aura user on the planet with her words
“Okay okay! Stop! Geez, I get it. I promise not to be relent on aura, so will you teach me it later?”
“...Fine, but I swear to god if you-!”
“I won't!” I smack the back of her head playfully. She turns to me, visibly a little mad “Ah, No hitting back! That's revenge from you pinning me to the ground earlier”
“I did that to save you. You had quite literally just called Sun Wukong an ‘Aryan Motherfucker’, it's lucky you still have all four limbs” She rubbed where I had hit her just a little earlier “Well, any more questions?”
“Just one…” My tone seemed to give off the intent of the question
“Hah… Nothing. I know your ‘Observe’ Skill said that the truck driver that hit Yoichi and your Mother was hypnotised using magic, but there isn't a single lead to the perpetrator right now. Check with Celestia later, she'll give you a better progress report than I could ever do…” She finished off her tea as I finished my biscuits
I sighed and took her cup, placing it in the sink and walking over to the bin to put the biscuit trash in there
Something flashed into my mind as I did
“Oh hey, Luna, do you know what the hell ‘Mastery’ is?” I asked, and she wrinkled her nose
“Mastery…? Like the word? I'm assuming not… I honestly have no clue, sorry” She threw the thermos to me as I put it in my inventory “Why? What happened?”
“Nothing much, I just got an Individuality quest whilst I was playing in the match. I completed it relatively easily and I got this as a reward” I picked out the book from my inventory. It was bound by leather and had no discernable features that I could tell. Tossing the book to her, she caught it and began to skim through it a bit
“Hah? This is dumb as hell?” She thought out loud
“Why? What's wrong with it?” I asked, sitting next to her and looking into it
“It's empty… There's not a single word written in it” She explained, I took the book and a screen appeared in front of me

“Oh that might be why” She looked at me a bit confused “Apparently it's an Item. I just got a message telling me if I wanted to use it”
“Well are you gonna just sit there, or are you going to use it?” She asked

“Well which Stat are you using it on?”
We looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds
“Strength” We said at the exact same time, as I pressed the use button on the strength stat
[STR Stat has Reached ‘Path To Mastery’! Stat Cap Has Increased By 2x]
“I take it back” I respond immediately
“Did something bad happen?” She stood up and put her arm on my head as if it was an armrest
“No, I take back everything bad I said about this Godly System” One of her eyebrows rose at my words
“Just tell me what happened!” She said, grabbing my shoulders and pushing me back and forth
“It multiplied my Stat Cap by Two” I stare at her with the smuggest expression I could manage
Her hands wrapped around a bag of sliced bread, before throwing it at me
“WHY THE HELL DID GAIA GIVE YOU OF ALL PEOPLE THIS ABILITY!?” She was pissed as hell
And I knew perfectly why
Though it needs a bit of context to make sense
You see, Mana has many uses
When used as is, it's incredibly efficient at intricate things
Such as creating the runes of a magic spell
But it can't be used within the body, so useless for martial artists
So if you refine Mana within your ‘Dantian’, the lower stomach area where Mana is stored, it becomes Ki
There are many names for it depending on where you are, parts of China call it ‘Nigong’, the west calls it ‘Internal Energy’, China calls it ‘Chi’, Japan calls it ‘Ki’
So that's the name I stick with
And Ki isn't really able to be formed into spells very efficiently, but it IS able to physically strengthen your body when it's flowed through the meridians
Meridians are a kind of channel that the body forms when you flow Ki through it, you need to make them yourself and everyone chooses to flow it in a different way which influences how strong Ki affects parts of the body
Basically, all of this exposition is to say that Ki increases your strength, adding against your base strength
So think about it like this:
50 Stat Points in STR + 10 Ki = 51 Points worth of STR
You may think that's an absolutely ass exchange rate, but Mana has a rate of 100 per 1 STR
And because the human limit, people can't go over those 50 Stat Points, so the only way of getting stronger is to increase the Ki you flow
So you can understand the importance of this STR cap increase…

“OH DON'T GET MAD! YOU’RE STRONG ENOUGH AS IT IS MOTHERFUCKER!” I shout back “And besides! Shouldn't you be happy your student has so many opportunities to grow their strength? Greedy ass hag”
“Hag!? I am in my PRIME you twat!” there was a small silence before I spoke
“I thought I was supposed to be the British one?”
She looked betrayed at her own words
We both ended up belly laughing so hard that it hurt
So much so that we didn't even hear someone opening up the door
“Hm? Oh hi! Welcome home…” I heard Luna say, wiping a small tear from the corner of her eye
I looked towards who it was and saw…
Celestia
Not too much of a shocker, she also lives here after all
Plus… It's about when she normally comes home
Wearing the clothes she usually did to work, a pair of purple trousers and a white cardigan over a pomegranate dress shirt
Her skin was a light pastel pink and that matched well with her light violet eyes
Her hair was a mess of colours that seemed to flow near magically, similar to Luna’s night sky blue
“Yo” Her eyes flickered towards me before she simply nodded
“Hello, Jin. I thought you were playing a match today?” She asked, before walking over and taking the thermos from the table, picking up a cup from the cupboard and pouring some tea for herself

I hate talking to Celestia, it always feels like I'm talking to an ACTUAL adult
The exact opposite of Luna
“I did, but Lulu over here had to pluck me outta it to meet someone” An eyebrow of hers rose as she took a sip
“And who was this person?” She asked before manoeuvring herself towards a seat
“Wukong” Luna stated without letting me answer, as Celestia did a spit take of her tea
“*COUGH* *COUGH* W-WHO!?” She yelled out in between coughs
“Sun Wukong” I reiterated as she brought her hand to her forehead and rubbed her temples
It seems both sisters share that habit
“Did he go yet?” She asked a bit as she shifted her her head around. She didn't look scared, like how Luna did, or stressed. Mostly relieved, and a bit… Excited?
“Yeah”
“Oh, okay then… Well since he's left, why haven't you gone back yet?”
“Because it would be weird if I just randomly reappeared back” I say, rolling my eyes
“No it probably wouldn't. Since you never left. I made a clone before taking you…” Luna looked down at her watch
I slam my hand onto the table and get out of my seat, my eyes widening as I feel the corners of my lips tugging upwards
“For real!?”
“For real real” She smirks and leans backwards
“You seem particularly excited for this, Jin” I hear Celestia say as I seat myself and lean back in my chair
“Really? Well I guess, I kinda realised it whilst I was playing but…” I smile widely at her “Football is hella fun!”
She takes a sip of her tea as Luna looks at me questioningly
“How though… It's just kicking a ball around…” She says as I sigh and shake my head, pulling my shoulders up and my palms facing upwards
“Dumb Americans…” She rolls her eyes at my comment as Celestia's eyes seem to light up a bit with an idea
“How about we come and watch?” She suggests
“Oh that would be great!” I reply and Luna seemed a bit apprehensive
“I’m not really a big fan of non-combat sports…” She admitted as I stop leaning back
“This is why you'll always just be a Dumb American…” I look at her with the best look of pity I could muster
Her eye twitched a bit at my remark
“I mean, this would be an amazing way for you to expand your horizons… Unless you're scared your student is so trash that they would lose to some mediocre pros…” This, I found, was the best way to rile her up. Insulting her teaching ability, calling her afraid and adding a bit of my personal Jin-Charm™
“Alright alright! I'll go!” She rolls her eyes and holds her hands up as if she was surrendering
“Great!” I pull out my phone from my pocket, checking the time. After doing a bit of mental maths -[Skill ‘Mathematics’ Has Levelled up!]- I figure out how much time I had “It would be Half-Time in like a minute so it would be perfect for me to rejoin!”
Luna sighs and Celestia had that weird knowing smile she always has plastered on her face
“Well, we should all get changed and then we'll be right there!” Celestia added
