The Traveling Horseman

''Traveler... are you-''

''Princess Luna! Are you alright?!'' Rainbow started, but Twilight interrupted. She wanted to rush to Alicorn, but she wasn't sure about those magical animals.

''I am fine Twilight Sparkle. This battle was sure exhausting, but other than that, I'm fine.'' Replied the Princess, as she kept watching Traveler breathing heavily. ''Are tho all alright Elements of Harmony?''

''Yes we are Princess!'' Twilight answered.

Traveler kept lying on the ground staring at the celling. His heart raced, as his body rebuilt itself. His senses coming back to him. The blood in his veins flowing trough his limbs.

Twilight stepped closer to him. ''By Princess Celestia's commend, you are coming with us.'' She started her monologue.

Traveler kept breathing heavily. His chest rising and falling.

''You brought a dangerous threat to Equestria!'' Twilight kept going.

His lungs were still burning, as he tried to speak.

''You put, not just us into danger, but Princess Luna could be harmed by those things!''

Rainbow Dash and Luna heard something coming out of his mouth and they tried to listen to it. But Traveler couldn't find his voice.

''Now you coming with us and the Princess will decide what to do with you!''

Now he could feel the energy washing trough his entire body. The lungs weren't burning that much. He could move his fingers too.

''We don't have to fight anymore. Tell your animals to calm down and you will be fine!''

As he felt his body finally giving him enough strenght, he clenched his fingers, tightening his grip. He was getting annoyed. His arms slightly shook, as he reached a breaking point. He couldn't grip into anything, to calm himself down.

''Shut up!'' He hardly whispered.

Twilight did not heard it. But Luna, Fluttershy and Rainbow did. ''Twilight, he's trying to say something!'' Rainbow landed next to her friend.

Twilight stopped talking. She tried to make out what Traveler said. She couldn't. ''I don't care what kind of excuse he's trying to come up with. He's dangerous. I'm sorry Rainbow, but just... just look around! He ruined the castle, put us and the Princess in danger.'' She looked at everypony, then back at him.

''What do you have to say?!'' Demanded Twilight.

That was her call for it. Traveler had enough...

''SHUT YOUR MOUTH!''

Everypony were taken aback. His voice boomed trough the castle.

Outside the Castle, a white Alicorn quickened her speed. Behind her, a new army of Royal Guards. Guards in golden and dark armor followed her lead.

Princess Celestia landed in front of the injured Shining Armor and his team. They were lying around the entrance. Cuts and bruises everywhere on their bodies, but nothing deadly.

Celestia was surprised to see no more Followers. She knew that her student did it, so she let out a sigh of relief.
Shinning Armor spotted her and tried to stand up. Grunting, as he tried, he eventually failed. The medics immediately started their work, taking care of their injuries.

''I see, Twilight and her friends made it.'' Stated Celestia.

''Princess- AGH! We heard a shout. Is Twilight safe?'' Shining asked her, wincing, as the doctors helped him to stand up.

''I'm sure they all alright. You can rest now! This fight is over.'' She said and walked into the castle.

Traveler's wildcat, helped him to sit up. He used the cat's shoulder to push himself up. Luna kept calm and understood why is he upset.

''THINK, before you say something!'' He shouted.

He proceeded to stand up and sighed. His back and neck popping back to it's place, his legs getting used to his weight and he let out a satisfied groan, then slowly looked at Twilight.

Twilight was still stunned. He survived the Elements of Harmony, an army of deadly humanoids and nearly died. Now, he was standing tall and straight.

And he looked really angry...

''First! Yes, I brought them here, but not on purpose! And I still apologize!'' He told her.

As much as Fluttershy understood his problem, she still felt scared. Those animals looked a bit scary for her. Rarity and Applejack watched, as he kept shouting. Rainbow looked at Twilight, Traveler and Luna, watching the events.

And Pinkie Pie... even me, the author can't see her... bucking fourth wall...

''Second!'' He continued. ''YOU put yourself in danger, because you foolishly followed me! If you would just THINK, then I wouldn't have to defend you and she wouldn't have to put herself in danger!''

Luna wanted to say something, but Traveler wasn't finished yet.

''I ruined the castle?! Dose it look like I I can throw rocks through the window? And your friend just saved your life back there. Excect a hug and few tears, you should give her more credit! And you should THANK me, for saving your life. TWICE!''

Rainbow grinned awkwardly and rubbed the back of her head.

''That's what I have to say!'' He took a few, deep breath. ''It's just as your fault as mine. You all have, every rights to blame me. Just like I have every rights to be angry, because you nearly killed yourselves. I told you, it's my fight.''

Even, if Applejack didn't know much about what happened, she found his explanation acceptable. She nodded a few times to herself.

Nopony saw the pink, party pony doing the same thing, as she was looking trough the broken window.

''And what you just did? Follow me. Follow me to your death. I could easily take care of this, without worrying about you.'' He looked at Luna. ''I appreciate your help, Night Princess. But this wasn't your fight. And don't be mad, but what you did was foolish. You have so much to lose. I don't.''

''It is alright, Traveling Spirit.'' She giggled and looked away from him. An embarrassed blush, slightly visible on her cheek.

Traveler hummed and turned back to the girls. ''Next time... leave me to die, instead of following me. You ALL have much to lose.''

Rarity allowed herself a small smile. He agreed with him, she have much to lose. She stared to regret, not talking to Twilight about his advice, to not follow him.

Pinkie appeared next to her, wearing the same smile and... the same mane stile too...

Celestia was impressed. She heard all of it. A being, from other wolds, worrying about her own subjects. That brought a smile to her face. ''Maybe, I misunderstood him...'' She thought a decided to show herself.

''I- I still have to bring you to the Princess. I understand what you're saying, but a command is a command. You're coming with us!''

Celestia decided against her previous plan. She wanted to know, what he would say about that.

''That's not gonna happen.'' She expected this answer. ''I'm deeply sorry... Element of Magic...'' He said and Celestia's eyes widened. ''He knows who they are?'' She thought and he continued.

''... because... she's here... and listening.''

If Celestia's eyes weren't wide enough, now they reached the maximum. ''How did he-...

''Why don't you join us... Princess of the Sun?'' He asked calmly.

''Hey! What the hay are you talking about?'' Spoke up Rainbow.

''Sister? Is that tho presence I feel?'' Luna looked around.

''What?'' Said the girls.

Celestia knew she got spotted. (Sneaking, eavesdropping, hiding and standing still is hard, with flowing mane and white fur... advice, from an expert assassin...) But she did not know, how he saw her.

And there, a certain eagle screeched down at her, from the ceiling. It's eyes glowing...

''Hmm... Looks like you still stayed alert...'' Stated Celestia and revealed herself, from the staircase.

''Princess Celestia!'' Cried out Twilight and rushed to her mentor.

''Hello, my little ponies! I'm glad to see you Twilight.'' The Princess said, as Twilight stopped in front of her.

''Princess, what do we do?'' She glanced back at Traveler.

Celestia looked at him and saw Traveler, folding his arms in front of him and leaning against his right leg. His head slightly tilting back, revealing, just a little more of his face. He wore an expression, that told her he was waiting.

Luna walked next to him. She glanced at her sister, then back to him. Traveler didn't budge.

All eyes were moving back and forth, between the Princess and the spirit.

Pinkie did it too fast, so her eyes went all crazy...

Celestia looked down at Twilight, with a small smile. Yes, that one smile, that we all knew, hate and at the same time... find really cute...

''We don't do anything.'' She informed her student.

''WHAT?!'' All the girls, except Rainbow Dash and Luna, who let out a sigh in relief and a 'YEAH!'.

''I misunderstood you Traveler.'' She started walking closer to him, Twilight soon followed her. Rainbow quickly flew next to him and the girls trotted closer too. ''You showed no hostility. You even protected my subjects, while you're from other worlds. True, those creatures are still a threat to Equestria, but It is not your fault.''

He kept looking at her, waiting patiently, while Twilight started to realize her own mistake. She even started to like him. The others listened, happy to her the news.

''I accept your apologize and I am sorry, for giving you a hard time.'' She continued.

''Will you accept my friendship?''

Traveler didn't budge and his face showed no emotions from the outside. But from the inside... ''Friendship? Really? Not a handshake or hoofshake? Not an agreement? A contract? Just... friendship?''

''I will...'' He answered simply.

Celestia bowed to him, but he kept standing there, arms folded.

Twilight whispered. ''What are you doing? Bow!'' She glared at him.

Traveler looked down at her. ''I'm not her subject. As she said, friendship. Not worship or partnership. And I don't know much about friendship, but I do know... friends are not bow to each other. Therefore, I'm not gonna bow to her... or anyone.'' He explained.

Everypony looked at Celestia, waiting for her response. Twilight took back what she thought about him, moments ago.

''That's quiet alright.'' She looked at Twilight. ''I didn't expect him to do it. I don't want to force him eather.'' Twilight grinned sheepishly and decided to back away.

Somewhere, Pinkie Pie did the same thing too...

''Why don't we continue this conversation outside?'' Suggested Celestia.

''Finally, I can stretch my wings.'' And with that, Rainbow dashed outside, trough the window.

Luna stayed by Traveler's side and Celestia on his other side. The girls were already trotting ahead, down the stairs.

''So Luna?'' Spoke up Celestia, smiling at her sister. ''Did you have fun?''

''Tia!'' Whined the Night Princess.

Traveler just chuckled.

''Maybe... this will turn out well...''

I MISSED YOU DEAR READERS SOO MUCH! D:
My school has gone crazy. They want me to go to a lot of competition and other things. JUST to leave me less free time and writing time.
But meanwhile, I wrote all the tests and I done well. So for now, I will have a bit more free time. It probably least for a week, but I can't pinkie promise anything...

As for this chapter. I wrote it under five hours. Nonstop, smokeless writing. Here it is, I hope it's delicious.
I have a pretty creative idea, about what will happen next. And (SPOILERS) winter is coming, so Traveler can see more exotic places too.

I want to be around with you guys, so PM me if you want. I'm gladly answer anything, no matter how silly the question is. Or if you just want to chat. That's it.
Oh, and if winter is coming, this means, I will see the world in an other way. And this means... new ideas. YAAY C:
