The Traveling Horseman

When someone cry out in agony, it's not the best thing you want to hear.
Imagine a terrifying creature, screaming in agony. The worst thing to hear...

Even the explosion wasn't enough to muffle the screams of hundreds of those monsters. Luna gritted her teeth, as she felt the massive energy exploding right in front of her.
Sprint remained silent, because he was a horse...
Map just kept glowing, not giving a single screech about what is happening...
The girls had the worst part. They not just felt like something squeezing them. They couldn't cover their ears from those ear bleeding screams. The Elements of Harmony drained all their strenght as well...

Only one soul felt different. Or more like a certain Spirit...

The Followers, who had their teeth sunk into him, or the ones, who penetrated his armor... they all got ripped away from him, tearing more skin and flesh out of him. And spilling more blood...
But he forced back to scream, from the serious damage. And did the only thing he could...

Grinned...

He enjoyed every second of those moments. The screams were music for him. His wounds were the 'say goodbye' gifts for the Followers. And the blood was the drink...

The explosion only lasted for a few seconds, then nothing but silence. Everything went into a blinding, bright light. No sound, no sign...

The Followers burned to ash, then disappeared from the living world...

The girls landed on the ground. They hardly stood on the their legs. Head spinning and ears ringing. Luna panted, with her eyes closed.

''Everypony alright?'' Twilight was the first to regain herself.

''Yeah, I'm cool!'' Called Rainbow Dash.

''That was a wild ride...'' Commented Applejack.

''Phew... that was... exhausting. I think I lie down for moment darlings...'' Huffed Rarity and summoned a red couch, to lie down.

''I-is it over?'' Asked Fluttershy, not daring to open her eyes.

''YAAAAAY! THAT WAS AWESOME! DO IT AGAIN!'' Hopped around Pinkie Pie, still full of energy, after the epic battle.

''I am fine Twilight Sparkle!'' Luna finally turned around and started walking to them.

Satisfied, that everypony is alright, Twilight looked at Traveler's motionless body.

His clothes were ruined, torn apart. His hood covered his bloody face, a huge red dot on his chest and little ones all over his body. The Followers surely wanted him dead...

Twilight froze in place. ''He... he didn't disappeared...'' She said and slowly, started walking towards him.

''Why should he disappear?'' Asked Rainbow Dash.

''The Elements supposed to destroy everything and anything that is evil...'' Twilight answered, still confused and dumbstruck.

''I told you he's not evil. Can you believe me now?'' Flew next to her Rainbow Dash.

Suddenly, Traveler's hands lit up in blue flames. The flames formed a blue fireball above him and a blue wildcat jumped out of it.

Rainbow Dash and Twilight stopped in their track and backed away from the beast.
Luna started running to them and when she was close to Traveler's body, Sprint blocked her way. The horse just looked at her, not moving.

''What are tho doing?!'' Spoke up Luna.

Map flew down to Traveler and landed on his chest. The eagle shut it's eyes and a purple tear rolled down on it's face. As the tear fell on to Traveler's face, he started glowing.
Then the wildcat, slowly backed away from the girls, not taking it's eyes down from them. Then it turned around and licked Traveler's face. After that, it moved to his arm and bite it. The wound started burning in blue flames.

The girls gasped. They couldn't do anything, just stare at the scene. Lune frowned at this and looked back at Sprint. She saw the horse turning around and walking up to his master. Sprint nuzzled and nudged his master, then he suddenly reared up and slammed his hooves down on Travelers heart.

A green wave of energy went trough his body. His wounds closed by the flames and the blood from him, got washed away by the purple liquid.

When all the glowing and burning died out, the three animal took a few steps back. They just stared as Traveler and waited.

''What the hay happened?'' Said Rainbow Dash quietly.

More silence filled the throne room. Luna looked concerned. She had a slight conjecture about what is happening.
The girls glanced at each other, with wide eyes and open mouth.

Suddenly... Traveler's body twitched...

And his whisper echoed trough the walls...

''Thank you, my faithful friends...''

Alright, here's the situation guys and girls!
The school holiday ended, so this means slower progress. I will only have time at weekends to write and it will be not enough. So that means, chapters will only come out every week or two weeks. Sorry, but that school is really hard.

So now, I leave you all with this little 'goodbye' chapter. I really feel sad for slowing down. I'm actually kinda depressed, because it feels like closing the story. I hope we see each other soon, dear readers!
