The Traveling Horseman

EPIC BATTLE MUSIC!

Everything stopped for a moment...

The three arrows speeding trough the air. The army of Followers mindlessly rushing towards the two immortal. Luna spread out her wings ready to take off. Map's glowing eyes reflected it's master, Traveler's movement, as he quickly placed his bow back, across his shoulder.

Everything was so slow...

Then, suddenly the three arrows started burning in blue flames. Traveler's gauntlet's burning in the same blue flames. It looked like the arrows became faster.

And then... the arrows found their marks...

''FORWAAAARD!!!''

Luna cried out...

Everything started moving again at normal speed. The three arrows penetrated trough three Followers, killing another three behind them, as the powerful shot went trough them.
After her battle cry, Luna flew forward the army of Followers, Traveler riding next to her, with his weapon pointing forward.
Those Followers, who were unlucky, they tripped over their fallen mates. Their still running mates stomped over them, killing their own teammates.

The fight just started seconds ago and a lot of things happened inside...

''Princess Luna!'' Twilight said and looked at her friends. They were shocked to hear her crying out.

''What are we waiting for? We have to find her!'' Rainbow Dash urged her friends.

Despite the terrible smell, they walked trough the bloody lake. Rainbow Dash and Flutterhy were lucky, they had wings. While the others had to step on the blood, feeling the still warm liquid under their hooves.

Much to Rarity's disgust...

''Eww! If I think about making new clothes for that brute! Disgusting! He probably ruined it...''

''Ah can't believe yo thought he's a good fellah Rainbow Dash.'' Spoke up Applejack, who felt bad for walking on the dead bodies.

''Hey! Maybe he hurt this things, but not because he likes doing it!'' Snapped Rainbow Dash at Applejack. ''And just so you know, he saved us, Zecora and left ponyville, so nopony gets hurt. I still think he's a good guy!''

The girls looked at her, stunned by their friends sudden outburst. Pinkie looked like she can hear something.

''I still think he's dangerous and I'm not gonna trust him.'' Stated Twilight.

''Who cares. You just angry because you think he used you to get information.'' Rainbow retorted.

''Take. That. Back!'' Twilight gritted her teeth.

''No Twilight. You know that I'm right.''

''No you're not. He's dangerous and we shouldn't trust him.'' Twilight held her nose high and kept walking. ''And you shouldn't trust him either. We are one team now and we have to work together.''

''Make me.'' All the girls looked at Rainbow Dash in shock. She just turned against all of them.

''Rainbow Dash. Don't be a stubborn mare an' stop shoutin'!'' Applejack was the one who broke the silence.

''You mean LIKE THIS?!'' Rainbow shouted.

''Yes. LIKE THIS!'' Applejack glared at her.

''Uhm... please. W-we don't have to fight girls. I mean... here. It's so scary here...'' Whispered Fluttershy, shivering from the sign of dead dragon.

But the girls kept arguing. ''I HAVE MY OPINION? YOU HAVE YOUR'S! GOT IT?!''

''WELL? AH THINK YO OPINION IS STUPID LIKE ON OF MAH UNCLE!''

''Darling, how could you possibly like that monster?!''

''MORE SHOUTING! WEHEE!''

''STOP THIS! WE CAN'T WORK TOGETHER IF WE KEEP ARGUING!''

Fluttershy tried to calm down her friends, but they were too stubborn. As she saw her friends not doing the mission and kept shouting everything, she took a deep breath and...

''SSSTOOOOOOOOOOP!!!''

The girls immediately looked at her, eyes wide. Fluttershy blushed a bit and smiled sheepishly. ''I think Rainbow is right...'' She said innocently.

''What?!'' All the girls, except Rainbow Dash, said at the same time. Oh and Pinkie started bobbing hear head, like she's listening to music.

Awkward silence filled the room. The girls just stared at each other, trying to find the perfect thing to say.
Rainbow finally saw Pinkie moving her head, like she's enjoying some music.

''What are you doing?''

''Oh, I'm just listening to that epic battle music...'' Pinkie answered.

And another awkward silence...

THE FOLLOWING SCENE HAPPENED AT THE SAME TIME!
Left side Luna, Right side Traveler

Princes Luna flew over the army, sending a midnight blue, Traveler rushed into the enemy's first line.
magical beam below. It was like cutting trough a wall, His horse knocking away the first lines of Followers.

Her armor absorbing every crash. he slashed upwards on the left side of his horse too.
Dodging every shot from the army below, Then he threw his weapon, like a spear,
or blocking the hits from flying Followers, into a bigger Follower, a dragon.
Luna still grinned like a mad mare. She He let his horse knock down, some more Followers,
was finally able to release all her anger, as he jumped at the dragon, who tried to pull out
frustration and stress. She was finally free. the deathly weapon from his neck, then kicked it
A sneaky, small... thing tried to grab her hind leg, away, pulling out his weapon in the process.
only to get bucked by her silver shoes, falling down. Something fell to his weapons blades and died.
Then Luna made a wide turn and looked at Traveler. Traveler looked up and saw Luna coming back.

They both looked at each other, in the eyes and nodded. They went back to kill the remaining Followers.

The Royal Guards, tried their best, to hold back the Followers's backup. Who tried to cross the bridge, they simply kicked them down, or shook the bridge, so they will fall down. Most of the Followers were not intelligent and did the same thing, what the previous ten mate did. So it was easy for the earth ponies to hold the line. Hell... they even talked to each other about random things.
The pegasi held their place well too. Unicorns shot down the flying creatures and pegasi kicked them down the ones, who somehow survived the paralyzing spell.
Shining Armor went to and fro. He helped out the unicorns and pagasi, then cheered for the earth ponies.

They thought nothing can surprise them.

Suddenly trolls and dragons...

Twilight Sparkle and the girls reached the throne room. As Twilight walked at the front, Rainbow quickly pulled her back and motioned for everypony to stay low.

''Is that... the Princess?'' Twilight asked in awe.

''There's Traveler. Where the hay did he get that thing. It's huge...'' Rainbow commented.

''We're not just trapped inside, but trapped inside with these... things. Darling, we should stay out of this. Look, they can handle it.'' Nudged Rarity her friend.

''No, we have to use the Elements of Harmony!'' Twilight stood up and started concentrating her magic.

The girls soon followed and they started glowing. Only, to be interrupted by that little, sneaky bastard. It hit Twilight on the head, stunning her. She only made out a big blur approaching her.

The girls dropped to the ground and rushed to her. Rainbow glanced to the right, only to saw a huge shadow outside the window, growing larger.

Rainbow wasted no time, flew to Twilight, before the creature hit her again, she pulled her away. Suddenly, a huge rock broke trough the window, sending glass shards everywhere. The creature looked at the rock, just for a second and it hit the creature. It squeezed the creature into a bloody puddle. Exactly where Twilight got pulled away seconds ago.

Twilight looked at Rainbow and she looked back at her. Twilight hugged her. ''I'm sorry Rainbow Dash!''

''For... what?'' She asked Twilight.

''For not respecting your opinion.'' Twilight pulled away from her and stood up.

''It's nothing really, I already forgot about that...'' Rainbow waved her hoof.

''You stayed loyal to me and I showed no respect. Can you forgive me?'' She looked at Rainbow Dash with teary eyes.

''Of course Twilight, you're my friend!'' And they hugged again.

The girls all smiled at the two. And Pinkie had the most epic moment in her life. Epic music, battle at the background and FRIENDSHIP!

Suddenly... MOAR FOLLOWERS...

''Don't let them throw anymore!'' Ordered Shining Armor.

Apparently, the dragons were blowing fire at the pegasi and trolls throwing rocks everywhere. The guards got disoriented and they had to fall back.

''Captain! What do we do now. We're trapped!'' Asked a guard.

Shining of course had another plan. Plan B to be exact. ''Stay behind me!'' He ordered and after he made sure, that nopony is missing, he concentrated his magic and created a HUGE protection spell around the whole castle. His guards cheered him and he sat down.
''It wont hold forever. I hope Twily is okay...''

A few more rocks came inside the window. Luna had no problem with them, she kept flying towards Twilight Sparkle and her friends.

But Traveler had to dodge those projectiles. He saw the ponies at the staircase and saw Luna flying to them. Half of the army turned towards the six friends. Cursing under his breath, Traveler made his way trough the crowd of mindless Followers.

A rock hit the ceiling above him and he stopped and turned around. The Followers behind him died under the debris and he made two wide slash at the incoming enemies.
Then he did a backflip over the debris. A Follower just stood up on top of the debris and as Traveler was in the middle of the backflip (upside-down), he looked at it, right in the eye, their faces inches away, barely touching each other.
As Traveler landed and turned around, he raised his weapon over himself, stabbing the creature, who played staring contest with him for those nano seconds.
With his weapon over himself, he brought it down and at the same time jumped. So now, he did a front flip, and thanks to the momentum, he managed to reach the girls.

Princess Luna already made some damage. So Traveler just slammed his weapon down, killing everything around the blade. Luna landed next to him and they didn't let trough any Follower.

''You fools! What did I told you about leaving me alone!'' Shouted Traveler and slammed his weapon down. Blue flames surrounded both his blades. A wave of blue flames pushed back and burned the Followers, around the blade, in a small radius.

''Use the elements Twilight Sparkle! We hold them up for you!'' Shouted Luna, as she held her place, shooting at the enemy.

The girls wasted no time and started the ritual. While they floated in the air, Traveler held his weapon in front of him and he started spinning it really fast. It looked like a blue shield after a short time.

''Princess!'' He shouted and threw his spinning weapon in the air, below Map, who kept glowing even brighter.

''Got it!'' She shouted back and made a shield force around all of them.

The spinning weapon stopped under Map. The eagle screeched and sent a beam of purple magic at the weapon. From the weapon, a blue and purple energy slammed into the ground below it, in a wider area. A lot of Followers crashed into the walls, as the energy hit that area, where they stood.
Traveler's hand started burning in green flames and his horse appeared at the opposite side of the room. Sprint sprinted towards the magical beam in the middle of the room.

''Forward Princess!'' Shouted Traveler.

Luna hesitated for a moment, then she saw what he meant. She dismissed her spell and rushed to the magical beam. Knocking away the enemy, she made her way towards the beam, in front of her. Spirit running towards it too, to her direction.

Meanwhile, the Followers tackled Traveler to the ground and they started hitting, biting, slashing him. He waited patiently, ignoring the pain.

Outside, Shining Armor couldn't hold anymore and his shield broke down. They tried to fight back, but the Followers outnumbered them.

Princess Luna and Spirit met at the beam and head butting each other...

The girls finished the ritual and sent the rainbow at the now green, blue and purple beam...

And with all the three types of magic and with the Elements of Harmony, an incredible amount of magical energy exploded inside the castle...

And everything went bright white...
