Sounds and Shadows on the Womb

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Scootaloo sleeps with the aid of Rainbow’s heart’s steady beat, the warmth from her body enveloping her like a warm blanket as she feels each step Rainbow makes. The shadows on the walls, though creepy, amuse her as she regresses back into a foal.

The umbilical cord holds tight as Scootaloo receives nutrients from her soon to be mother, giddiness fills her heart as she awaits to be Rainbow’s daughter

She hears the voices of her parents talking to Rainbow, he’s telling them what had happened and explains the direness of the situation. She smiles as she hears her parents accept the fact that it had to be done and thanks Rainbow for letting them know.

As Rainbow flys, she can feel herself dangle in the air as Rainbow’s tummy hangs with her inside it.

Rainbow lands, Scootaloo can see shadows of what looks like a building, but soon sleep overtakes her and she slips into a sound slumber.

As she sleeps, she can hear and feel everything around her, some of her memories remain, but most start to leave, she vaguely remembers her friends, and remembers clearly that she can’t fly.

She twitches a bit, hearing Rainbow sing to her from the outside, some of the words are hard to understand, but the toon is soft and sweet, and brings comfort to her, she hears Rainbow sing the first lines of "if we hold on together", making her even sleepier as she soon falls asleep, knowing they are somewhere, but doesn’t know where.
