After the evil Porky Minch was banished to a place where he would never get out, Equestria was safe. However, Ruby Black and Berry Punch, the saviors of Equestria, would have an even bigger problem to face, an power that was more evil than the most evil thing in the universe. An evil greater than Porky Minch, and more than 5 times as powerful.

In a world far away by the name of Azeroth, a dwarf with his pet were on the run, with a human along side him. They were running as fast as they could from the greatest evil in the universe. Behind them, trees were crashing and the earth quaked.

“OI! Carees, lad! Ye alright?” The dwarf called to his right.

“I'm fine! Our lady Jaina said she has prepared the portal to the unknown planet in the clearing ahead! Cannonbolt! Pack! Now!” Shouted the human.

“Aye! I'm on it!” Cannonbolt said, as his eyes grew to be like a tiger's. Suddenly, their feet started moving faster. Cannonbolt looked around.

“Oi! Cudds? Cuddles, are ye still with us!?” Cannonbolt shouted, looking behind him and around.

A spiked, green raptor came to his right and roared.

“There ye are! Ye scared me, Cudds! We're really in fer it this time, eh!?”

The raptor roared once more in agreement.

“Look, Cannon! There's the clearing!” Carees yelled and pointed ahead.

They both jumped into the clearing, there in the middle stood a female human, wielding a staff and holding a portal open. The ran up to her and stopped with a slide.

“Me lady! Thank ye fer all y--”

“Not now, Cannon! He draws closer! Go! I'll be fine! I hope the new world you two find will be able to fight Yogg-Saron. Don't let him destroy any more worlds!”

Behind them, trees flew left and right and the earth shook. A monstrous voice came from the forest.

“I AM HERE! BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF MADNESS AND DEMISE!”

Cuddles whimpered and hid behind Cannonbolt in fear.

“Go! No more time! Defeat Yogg-Saron in the new world! Don't mind me!” The mage said.

“She's right, Cannon. Let's go!”

Carees jumped in the portal. The monster grew closer, he was nearly in sight now.

“It be our turn, Cuddles! Jaina! Thank ye... and be careful, lass. I hope to see ye again.”

Cannonbolt grabbed Cuddles, still frozen with fear, and jumped in the portal. Jaina's energy faded, and the portal closed.

“Good luck, guys. Destroy him... for me...”.

Jaina fainted and dropped to the ground.

“Goooood morning, sleepy head!” Berry Punch sang to her best friend, Ruby Black, as the sun rose. Ruby slowly opened her eyes with a groan, putting a hoof to her head.

“Aaaugh. What a nightmare.” Ruby said, negatively. Berry looked over to her friend.

“Nightmare? What about?”

“I... I don't know. I had a gigantic monster behind me, controlling me... making me hurt my friends. I saw two ponies I'd never met before in that dream, though. One of them had some kind of dinosaur by his side. Insane, I know.”

“Hmm, sounds like a good book plot if you ask me.” Berry said.

“I have that feeling again. That feeling something is upon us and must take action to stop it... again.”

“Hmm... well you do contain the ultimate power within you, so I wouldn't be surprised if that dream you had was a foreshadow to what we might be in for.” Berry said. She sounded worried.

“I sure hope not. I don't know... that thing behind me, whatever it was.... I can't even describe it.” Ruby shuddered.

“Well get out of bed and let's go get some breakfast and try to forget about it. Sugarcube Corner sound good?”

“Yeah, that's fine.”

Ruby hopped out of bed and walked off to Sugarcube Corner with Berry.

“How long has it been since Porky was banished? 7 months? Seems like it was only yesterday, don't cha think?” Berry asked along the way.

“Yeah it does. That was one heck of a ride for us.” Ruby said, remembering the moments of their adventure.

“I can't believe we pulled that off, but I'm very glad I had the best time in the world with you! I'm also glad I got to witness one of the greatest ass-kickings of all time.”

“Awww, couldn't have done it if you didn't save me. You played just a big a role as I did.” Ruby said, cutely.

“Aww, shucks. It just proves we can overcome anything by working together as friends.” Berry said, blushing. “Speaking of which, that dream you told me about made me start thinking if we're bound to have an even greater adventure soon!”

“I dunno, Berr. Maybe. Ya never know.” Ruby shrugged.

“Well, we can do whatever is needed, as long as we work together, right?” Berry asked confidently.

“Yep. The challenge would be sticking together, though.” Ruby explained to Berry.

“Awww, it wouldn't be a problem. Ah, here we are! Time for some ridiculously unhealthy and amazing food.”

Ruby smiled.

“Yeah, maybe Pinkie's food will take my mind off this.”

Cannonbolt and Carees were unconscious in the middle of a forest after their escape. They both awoke at the same time.

“Oi, me head... where are we?” Cannonbolt looked at his new hooves. “Carees, lad? What 'ave we been turned into?”

Carees looked at himself and then at Cannonbolt.

“I... I don't know, Cannon. Well, judging by our appearance, we seem to be... horses?” Carees had his 'I'm thinking don't disturb me' face on.

“So many questions, so little time. Waaaait.... oh no! Where's me beard? By all that is holy WHERE'S CUDDLES?” Cannonbolt's face was frozen with fear for a brief moment. A roar came from the trees above them. Frantically, they looked up to see the green raptor tangled in tree limbs.

“Oh, thank the light... ye scared me, lad! Whew!” Cannon let out a sigh of relief as Cuddles fell on top of him from above.

“Oi! Why couldn't ye be a wee smaller?”

Cuddles growled and whimpered as he got off the new stallion. As Cannonbolt looked straight ahead into Carees' eyes, he noticed something: Hey could look directly into Carees' eyes!

“Oh!... Oh yes! Finally! My dream has finally come true!” Cannon jumped into the air and landed on his face, still struggling with walking, though Carees' seemed to be learning rather quickly.

“What dream might that be, may I ask?” Carees' asked as he looked at Cannon with a skeptical look.

“I'm tall! I'm as tall as you are, lad! This is great!” Cannonbolt looked over to see his backpack, which had become a saddlebag. On top of it were a a rather long sword, a bow that looked like nature itself formed it, and a glowing red hammer.

“'Ey! Our weapons!” Cannon said as he rushed over, with Carees' slowly following.

“I was hoping they'd make it. Can't fight without Sulfurus.” Carees' said as he picked up the hammer.

“Aye, Rok'Delar and Thunderfury made it as well! It will probably take some time to get to use 'em in this world we be in, though.”

“Well, only thing left ta do is find the nearest town or city... oi! Be that a path over there?” Cannonbolt said as he pointed behind Carees.

“Hmmm... it seems to be. But which way?” Carees looked far down the left and far down the right but there was nothing but there was nothing but forest.

Cuddles sniffed the ground and looked up and to the left. He made a noise quietly and jumped facing left.

“Have ye sniffed something out, laddie?” Cannon asked his pet.

Cuddles nodded his head, anxious to go the direction.

“Well, then! Lead the way!”

The two stallions started to walk down the path to the left, following the raptor and hopefully getting out before dark.

“Ah, that hit the spot!” Berry said as she walked out of Sugarcube Corner with Ruby.

Ruby moaned “I think I had one too many pancakes...”.

“You can never have too many pancakes, silly.”

“I bet to differ. My stomach feels like it--”

For some reason, Ruby stopped dead in her tracks with a surprised expression stuck to her face.

Berry turned toward her friend. “Feels like what? Ruby? Helloooooo?” Berry waved her hoof in front of Ruby, but she didn't move.

A voice only Ruby could hear whispered in her ear with a dark, echoing voice.

Forest entrance... Raptor... Hammer...

“RUBY!”

Ruby blinked and flinched. “Ah!”

“What was that, Rubes? You just... stopped. Are you okay?” Berry became concerned. Ruby was looking down.

“Forest...” she whispered.

“Excuse me? Forest? I don't follow.”

“The forest. We gotta go to the edge of the forest. Now.” Ruby had a serious face on her.

“The forest? The Everfree Forest? Why?” Berry scratched her head.

Ruby replied softly. “I... I don't know. Something... maybe... I think... might be there for us.”

“Umm... okay... maybe you did have too many pancakes.” Berry gave her an unsure look.

“Something told me we have to do something there... c'mon this could be important.”

“Important, huh? Well, if you say so, but if there's nothing there and nothing comes I'm officially never letting you eat pancakes ever again.”

They started to head off to the forest, completely unaware of just who they were about to meet.
