Spike and Spyro quickly ran through the cage that was a clear opening for them to run through, Spike had a lot running through his mind right now, his mother was kidnapped and was most likely being taken by the bounty hunter to a place that could corrupt her again, Spike does not want that to happen to her again, she's suffered enough, and he swears he's gonna get her back.

They both quickly ran out of the arena quickly and made they're way into the open halls, they had to fight they're way out of this, and whoever else is held here, they need to rescue them too.
"Spyro, we need to find Mole Yair quickly, we have to get him out of here!" Spike shouted while he used his scythe to slash down another pirate.

"I think he's still nearby our cell, come on, we gotta go!" Spyro shouted as well while he shot an Ice blast that froze another group of them solid, Spike finished them off by jumping in the air and he used his scythe to shatter them, Spike hated these pirates for what they did to the prisoners here, and he feels no regret for dealing with them like this.

Spike used his Wind powers to quickly deal with most of the enemy's he came across, he then used his Shadow ability to move through open points that he could get through, and open up pathway's for Spyro to go. He's gotten a hang on his Shadow powers, in fact all the powers that come from his mom are getting stronger.

Spike and Spyro made they're way through the ship some more and soon came near the outside of it, there were platforms they needed to go across, but they could see multiple Dreadwings and hunters going father away from the ship, most of it was on fire at this point, and it looked like it wouldn't hold up for much longer.
"Come on guys, we gotta move, this place is burning more and more by the minute." Spike advised as he and Spyro flew over the paths while avoiding any flames being shot at them from the steam pipes.

"Spike, are you alright? I know Cynder just got kidnapped and all, but we'll be able to save her. I know you care for her, but we shouldn't rush things you know?" Spyro asked as he noticed Spike's look of stress.

"Can you really blame me Spyro? That's my mother who just got kidnapped! And if we don't save her soon.. she could end up being corrupted again.. and.. I don't want her to go through that fate again.." Spike said with tears as he thought of what could happen with her.

"Hey, it's gonna be alright Spike, we just need to find Mole Yair and get him and his kind out of here, then once we deal with those pests, we'll try finding out where they're taking her." Spyro assured which made Spike more worried at the thought of it.

"I think I have a bad feeling of where she's being taken Spyro.. you remember that mountain we've been seeing in our visions? I.. feel like it's all gonna come down to a battle there.. and it's gonna decide the fate of this world if we go there.." Spike said with fear as he could feel so much stress coming from what may happen in the future.

"Hey, don't worry Spike, it'll be alright. Those pirates are to blame for this, if it weren't for them, we'd be back at the temple with Ignitus where it's safe, sure we'd probably have to move somewhere else to hide from those hunters, but still, this is all they're fault for this!" Sparx pointed out which made Spike feel more guilty for it.

"It isn't just they're fault Sparx, we're both just as guilty for it. If we hadn't gone out to that Ancient Grove in the first place, Cynder would still be here, she's already been through a lot, and we were the only things she really has at this point.." Spyro said with regret for going so far like this.

Sparx sighed hearing that, while he wanted to point out he was right about this whole thing, they were both in a tough spot right now, and he didn't want them to feel worse about it.
"It'll be alright guys, once we deal with these pirates, we'll find this Chronicler dude and hopefully he knows what happened with her. The sooner we get off this ship, the better." Sparx assured which did help them get more confidence in this.

"Your right.. no matter how many of these stupid pirates we have to face.. I will make sure... they pay for getting us in this mess.." Spike said with anger as he was clutching his fist, Spyro noticed his claw was forming some shadow around him, and was getting worried at the sight of it.

"Spike, you need to calm down, we can't harm any innocent people here, we'll get out of here soon, for now, let's go find Mole Yair." Spyro advised while Spike took deep breaths, he noticed his claw was forming shadows around it again, but he calmed himself down to get rid of them for now.

"Your right.. let's get Mole Yair out of here..." Spike replied before they started making they're way through the ship some more to find him.

After that small talk, they fought they're way through more parts of the ship, often encountering more pirates they had to put down, these guys were too much trouble to let go, and they needed to put an end to them, here and now. Spike could feel his anger building up in him, it was like something was beckoning him to use his powers without mercy.. like.. something was telling him too..

Soon enough though, Spike and Spyro soon found Mole Yair near more of the prison cells, they could see some of his people were held in it, and they had to find a way to get them out of here.
"Mole Yair! The Ship's under attack! We have to get off this ship." Spyro informed which got his attention, he looked really afraid of what's happening right now, and he needed to get his people to safety.

"Spyro! Spike! My people are still being held prisoner! We need to find a way to open these chambers!" Mole Yair said with worry as there wasn't a clear way to open the door right now.

"I think there's a way to open it just outside! Come on, we'll be back in a minute! Stay safe!" Spike advised as he quickly ran off with Spyro to save these guys.

They both quickly made they're way outside the ship and soon found themselves near some cannons that were firing at the enemy's surrounding it, the ship was being brought down more and more by the minute, which probably meant that these guys hate the pirates as well.
"Looks like we and the apes have a common enemy here, never thought I'd see that day!" Spike said with surprise as they flew in the air and dodged more of those cannons.

"At least they'll keep them distracted! Come on, I think I see the thing holding those gates down!" Spyro replied as they went closer to a cage that lead them to a higher area, they both then had to push some boxes on some pipes that were spewing out more flames, and they blocked the path so they could go to another part of the pipes, and that destroyed the main switch holding Mole Yair's people.

After they managed to save his people, Spike and Spyro lead them to a nearby ship that could get them out of here.
"Alright Mole Yair, your safe, now get as far away from here as you can." Spyro advised as Spike made sure there wasn't anything to harm them once they left.

"Thank you so much my friends, I do hope we can meet again, perhaps under better circumstances?" Mole Yair asked with a hopeful look which they liked the sound of.

"That would be nice, just stay safe Mole Yair, hope to see you again one day." Spike replied with a smile which made him really glad to hear it.

"Thank you my friends, oh, I almost forgot, this letter came for you when we were being held captive, it may be important for you. I hope to see you again one day, good luck to you both." Mole Yair finished as he handed them a letter, and soon enough, him and his people finally went sailing off to a safer place, and that made them glad to see them be freed again.

"Wonder who left this for us?" Spyro asked with interest as Spike opened up the thing and started to read it.

"Let's see here... dear friends.. word has been spreading across the ship that you both were being held captive here too. And this word has made it to the Assassin who's placed a bounty on you both, but you can probably see that by now, I managed to escape my cell during the destruction, and helped any prisoners who needed help too. I'll probably have escaped by now, but I hope that one day, I can meet you too, stay safe, and until the day we meet, be strong.. Hunter, of Avalar." Spike read which fascinated them all.

"Who's Hunter?" Spyro asked confused on what that name meant, Spike didn't know what it was either, but it sounds like someone they'll meet in the future.

"Don't know, but something tells me we'll meet him one day, but for now, we need to get out of here." Spike advised as he put the letter away for now.

"Yeah, come on guys, the ships burning up! I don't wanna be on this thing anymore!" Sparx encouraged as he really didn't wanna be here anymore.

"Not yet guys, first we need to get a map to a place called the White Isle, and I think I know where to find it." Spyro informed which gave them all an idea on who he was talking about.

"You know I hate you at times right?" Sparx asked annoyed with this info.

"Ugh, come on, let's deal with those pests first, I'm not gonna let them keep forcing other people to fight to the death. Come on guys!" Spike encouraged with a serious look as they started making they're way through the large ship.

To say the path to get to these guys was tough would be an understatement, this ship was so large, and there were so many different ways through it, it was hard to describe. most of the ship was on fire at this point, and a lot of the pirates were either dead, trying to flee from it, or were trying to hold onto what's left of it. Spike didn't care for these guys one bit, they've caused enough trouble here for everyone, they were already a thorn in Cynder's side when she was corrupted, and he can see why.

Spike and Spyro kept on fighting they're way through the ship for what felt like hours, there were hundreds of pirates they had to take down in multiple hordes. It was really repetitive with how many they had to take down, not to mention all the places they had to go across, from going across the very arena they fought in, which was mostly in ruins by now, to the lower decks of the ship, and the upper levels which felt like they went on forever.

Spike's had a lot of time to think to himself as they fought through this whole ship, there was a lot going on right now, he hasn't felt any better since he was nearly corrupted, all the stuff he's had to process since he came to this world really took a hold on him. Knowing he wasn't even born naturally, and was made of dark magic and Cynder's own powers.. it hit him in many ways, he's felt dread ever since they saved her, because deep down.. he feels like there's something coming for them.. and it may even go to Equestria to cause destruction too..

Spike still remembers those visions he's had, about one specific dragon being taken from Equestria, and turned into what may be a replacement for Cynder. He can still hear her screams of pain as she got corrupted and turned into a monster, and if they're really visions of the future, he has to try and find a way to have them be prevented.

But soon enough, after a LONG way across this whole ship, doing tons of annoying fights and puzzles that only delayed they're progress, they soon finally made it to the room where Skibb and Skabb were, Spike was more then ready to put these birds in they're place, and Spyro looked just as ready to finish this too.
"Finally, that took way much longer then it should've, at least we're finally here.." Spike said with relief upon finally making it here.

"Yeah, but at least we got more skilled when we went through the place, now let's get that map, and get this over with." Spyro advised which they all were ready for.

"Let's just get going already.." Sparx encouraged as they went to the door and finally opened it up.

They both opened up the large doors that lead into the captains room, and it was really large, there were tons of gold piles around the place, same with dozens of valuable items and relics that were probably stolen, and some maps around the place to lead the pirates too it. But most of this room was already on fire, and it wasn't gonna hold on for much longer.
"Wow.. look at all this stuff.." Spyro said with surprise of how much they've horded here.

"And I thought dragons back home were greedy .. this is just ridiculous.." Spike said with surprise at how much they're holding here.

"Oh sure, take your time guys.. it's not like we're about to plummet to our deaths in the heap of a flaming...!" Sparx shouted before they stopped him.

"You've made your point Sparx, let's just find the map and get out of here." Spyro advised as they were moving to the main desk in the center of the room.

They looked down at the map and soon saw it was the one they needed, it looked to lead them to White Isle, as well as other important places for the future.
"Alright, we got the map, let's get out of here now." Spike said with haste as he quickly took the map and rolled it up for later.

But before they could leave, they saw the pirate leaders Skibb and Skabb were here again with the the hyena that was carrying them, and they looked very upset about what's happened with the ship.
"Well, if it isn't the purple menaces! We hope you weren't.. planning to leave.." Skibb said with anger at seeing them here.

"Yea, we got a score to settle you chumps!" Skabb mocked which made Spike even more angry seeing them here.

"It is astounding for the amount of trouble you've managed to cause." Skibb insulted which made them both more upset with just hearing it

"You think we're to blame for this?! You were the ones who captures us in the first place! Not to mention you were trying to force us.. to fight my mother! You've been doing this for long enough, and I am tired of you guys!!" Spike screamed which surprised Spyro and Sparx with his outburst, but it was a true fact he had to tell them.

"Spike's right, you only brought it upon yourselves, you couldn't just leave it alone, now your having to pay for it." Spyro countered which made them both more angry.

"That black monster is this pets mother? Shouldn't be surprised, they both are nothing but trouble for anyone who sees them! I don't see what ever made her have you in the first place! Because your nothing but a waste of flesh you punk!" Skabb insulted again which finally made something snap in him.

He hasn't felt rage like this since they faced the conductor back on that volcano, these monsters have killed many people, and have been causing nothing but trouble for everyone in this world. And them calling him this, was the last straw.
"You.. think.. I'm.. the monster here?!" Spike asked with rage as his body was flaring up with his mother's powers again.

"Whoa! Spike! Try to calm down dude!" Sparx advised before Spyro quickly pulled him back, Spike's body was becoming more and more engulfed with his powers, and Spike's rage was hitting his peak, Spike's red eyes were glowing brighter, and he was clutching his claws so hard it could crack his own fists.

"I've.. had.. enough of you both!!!" Spike screamed to the top of his lungs as he took a huge deep breath, Spike felt all of his powers being poured into this one blast, and the longer he held this breath, the stronger it was getting.

"What is this madness?!" Skibb asked with surprise as he and Skabb were backing up from Spike's growing power, Spike's body was being surrounded by his powers, and he felt them build up till he couldn't hold it back any longer.

And with one glare that made they're lives flash before they're eyes, Spike made a loud roar of fury which shot a powerful blast of his combined powers directly at them both, this destroyed them both in an instant as they screamed with pain in less then a second, and it was so powerful, it went straight through this entire ship, and when he couldn't control it, it was able to split the thing completely in half, and it even was strong enough to bring the surrounding ships down from his overwhelming power.

Spyro and Sparx were both scared and worried with Spike's sudden burst in power, they haven't seen him like this since he destroyed that conductor. And they could see Spike's body exhausting itself from using so much power.
"Whoa.. Spike? Are you alright?!" Spyro asked with worry for him as he breathed heavily.

Spike didn't know how to respond, he hasn't felt a power like that in his life, it all was just built up from the anger and hate he had for these pirates, and looking around the ship, he could see how much destruction he brought, it made him feel things he's never felt in his life.
"I.. don't know.. I just felt my anger building up so much.. and once it hit it's limit.. that happened.." Spike replied as they looked at the collapsing ship around them.

"I'm.. sorry this happened Spike, but.. are you gonna be okay?" Spyro asked as Spike was trying to stand back up, that attack took a lot out of him, he still felt his mother's powers in him, but he's gonna need time to rest before he can use them for another fight.

"Yeah.. I'll be fine.. at least those pirates are gone.. but we need to get out of this place, the whole ship is collapsing." Spike advised as there was dozens of pieces of the ship that were falling apart and into the sea below it.

"I see a way out, come on guys! We gotta go!" Sparx informed as he flew out through an open window, Spike and Spyro quickly followed behind and they finally managed to escape this ship.

Spike and Spyro flew as far away as they could from the place, Spike looked back behind and saw the entire fleet sink into the water, every single pirate there was gone now, and while Spike was glad they're finished now, the way he did it just made him feel guilty for it.

"At least.. we're finally free from that stupid place.. now all we have to do is find out where my mother was taken.." Spike said weakly as he tried pulling out the map he got.

"Don't worry Spike, those guys had it coming, so where we going now?" Sparx asked while they all flew besides eachother.

"It's hard to read what this map says, but I think if we keep flying north, we'll be able to make it to White Isle by morning." Spike informed which was good news for them all.

"Good, let's keep flying then, we'll probably see an island or something the more we fly." Spyro declared which sounded good.

"Alright then, I'll keep my eye out for something that says Spooky Moon Temple ahead." Sparx said sarcastically, but that's when Spike and Spyro felt themselves getting drowsy again, and they both had an idea on what that means.

"Oh come on.. why.. now..?" Spike asked annoyed as he and Spyro started to pass out.

"Oh no.. please tell me you guys are just pulling over to use the restroom!" Sparx begged as they both finally passed out, and began falling down into the sea. Spike couldn't even feel himself hit the water as they passed out, and they felt themselves entering their dreams once again.

Spike and Spyro groaned again as they felt themselves appear back within the dream world again, Spike felt his thoughts rushing as his head hurt badly.
"Ugh.. why do we get called at the worst of times?" Spike asked annoyed as they were focusing on where they were right now.

"I don't know Spike.. but hopefully this is the last time, come on, I think we both know what element we're gonna unlock next." Spyro advised as there was another platform ahead of them, they could see two more bright circles in the center, one of the circles was yellow and had electricity around it, and the other was bright green, and Spike felt weird the closer they came to it.

Spike and Spyro flew over to the platform ahead of them, and tried calling out to the Chronicler for any signs of him.
"Something's not right, it's way darker here then it was before. Can you hear us! We need to know what's happened to Cynder!" Spyro shouted as they looked around the dark void.

They waited for just a bit longer, but they could soon hear from him once again.
"A flash of lightning is born of the sky's and it's tempers young dragons. And there are many ways ones can be poisoned, be it physically or mentally, you both must learn to control your emotions, if you are to use these powers freely.

Spike felt his body being powered with a strong poison that only Cynder could use, he felt the power course through his body, which finally was unlocking the last power he could fully use next to his other elements. Spyro felt his body being swarmed with lightning once again, they surged through they're bodies to build up in power. Spike and Spyro began floating in the air once again, both elements swirling around them, building up more and more, until they both made loud roars of rage, and they unleashed them across the entire void.
"These powers are accentuated by your impulsive natures. Lightning, and Poison, are powerful in the hand of anyone who uses it. Trust your instincts, Spyro and Spike.." The Chronicler advised as the next path opened up for them.

"Let's finish up our training then.." Spike told himself as they quickly made they're way through the last course.

This course was pretty much like the last ones they had to go through, fight through some dummies to master they're powers, learn a few unique moves that are tied into them, and keep moving on until they reach the temple. Spike managed to learn how to form his Poison powers into a hammer that he could easily swing around, it did a lot of damage to anything that was hit by it, and the poison within it was able to weaken his enemy's till Spyro was able to finish them off. There wasn't much to describe here, it was almost like the last ones they've done before.

As they kept making they're way to the temple, Spike looked around the place, and saw how much darker it was here, a lot of the stars were gone, the Celestial Moons were even closer by now, and Spike could feel something moving within the shadows... like it was watching over they're every move, but as Spike kept on moving, he began hearing a familiar.. chilling voice speak to only him..

"Spike... I.. know... what you really are..." The voice said in a sinister tone which made Spike really afraid, that voice felt so malicious, so.. evil.. it was unlike anything he's heard before..

"Spike, are you alright?" Spyro asked as they were just near the temple now, Spike looked around for any signs of the voice, it wasn't the Chronicler, it was something else.. or someone.. and he has a bad idea on who it is..

"I'm.. I'm fine.. let's just keep moving, there's gotta be something ahead to help us.." Spike dismissed while quickly moving ahead of him, Spyro looked worried on what's on his mind, but hopefully he can talk to him about it later, and they kept on moving to the temple.

After moving through a few more platforms, the two finally made it to the temple once again.
"Okay, we've completed your test, what do we do next? How can we find you? Are you there?!" Spyro asked to the void, and for some reason, they couldn't get a response this time.

"Great, now the voice in our heads are ignoring us.." Spyro said annoyed as they kept going to the vision pool in the center.

"Let's just see what he brought us here for again.." Spike suggested which Spyro agreed too. They both looked directly into the vision pool, and could see something forming inside it.. something bad..

They could see Cynder being brought back to the same mountain they've seen in they're mountains, she was in chains as she was being brought to the leader of the whole ape army.
"So.. the traitor returns!" Gaul said with malice which made her afraid to see him after so long.

"You can't go through with this Gaul!" Cynder warned which made Gaul laugh mockingly.

"Nothing can prevent this, we are merely here to welcome our master back into this realm, and join him at his side. But fear not Cynder, you've been such a faithful servant, I'm sure he'll take you back. He may even show that pathetic child of yours some mercy, but if not.. you will both be the first to perish by his claws.. Long have we waited.. long have we all suffered! But soon enough.. our master will return! And his coming fourth, will bring a new age of power for the Apes, and we shall have our revenge!" Gaul announced which made all the apes cheer in victory for what's to come from all of it.

Spike and Spyro both groaned softly and finally started to wake up once again, they hated having to pass out during moments like this, but thankfully they got a hint to where Cynder is. And Spike felt great fear for what's gonna happen to her.
"Ugh.. what happened?" Spike asked weakly as he and Spyro were getting back up.

"Well let's see, you both have been hearing voices in your head, been leading us all over the place. And now we're stranded on an enchanted island, I can't wait to see what happens next!" Sparx said sarcastically as they looked around the place, and that's when they both finally realized something on where they are..

"Guys.. I think we're here.." Spyro announced which meant they had one last chance to stop this madness.

"We're here... the White Isle.." Spike said with awe as they looked over the massive island around them, it was the most unique place they've been too yet, and now they needed to do one more thing, Find the Chronicler, and understand what's been happening before it's too late..

Hope you don't mind me skipping over most of the pirate stuff, but to be clear, it went on for far too long, and I was just saving us a lot of time so we can get back to the main story. I feel like I've been handling things well here, I'm gonna try and keep a more constant update with this story till it's finished, it shouldn't be too hard, so I hope you all liked this, and look forward to more of it!
