Some time has passed since Celestia and the Mane 6, Thorax and Ember had this special meeting that regarded Spike's kidnapping, and the ones behind him, and at the end of it, Celestia decided the only chance they have of finding him, is with the help of Discord, while he's caused tons of trouble in the past, but Celestia knew that the threat of the Dark Master would make him stop this, because she feels that even he feared him from whenever he's spoken off.

After that day, Twilight and everyone else was preparing for they're talk with Discord that would try to help them find where Spike is, Ponyville's been trying to recover from the attack the Dark Armies had on it a while back when they came to capture Spike, and while a lot was lost, they all were worried about Spike the most.

Ember was currently on the castle balcony and was looking over the remains of Ponyville, despite how much it's recovered since the attack, the damage done to it was extremely bad. And it would take time for it to be rebuilt, but Ember just had a bad feeling that something was about to happen again, and this time.. it may be even worse.

Celestia had went to get Discord again after they last defeated him, while it would be a bit to convince him to help them, the threat that's coming will be something they all have to try and stop, and if Spike's really in another world without them, it could mean bad things for the people of this world.

Ember sighed and felt defeated as she looked back on what happened, she went down so easily from that stupid ape, it's like all the training and fighting she's done never meant anything with how quickly they were brought down, and if Twilight and the others couldn't stand a chance against him, what if more threats come again to attack? What if.. they're not able to save themselves from the threat of the Dark Master.
"Why couldn't I save you Spike? I.. I'm the Dragon Lord. You gave me that title, but.. as much as I've tried.. I don't think.. it'll be enough, without your help.. I don't know if I can properly lead our kind.. and.. it could leave us defenseless against threats like this.." Ember told herself with a depressed look.

She felt weak for not being able to save Spike, and if this threat is one of many that would come soon, she may not be able to do anything about it. She soon heard a door open behind her and knew that would be Twilight, she turned her head a bit and saw Twilight was coming out of the door with an upset look, she was also worried about everything very much, and they had the right to worry about it, especially with what they're about to do now.
"Hey Ember, are.. you alright?" Twilight asked with worry while Ember just turned back to the view of Ponyville.

"No, I'm not. I'm worried sick about him, the fact I was so close to saving him.. and yet.. I was pushed down so easily.. it.. made me wonder just how much I really know. To know there's another world of dragons, with a far more advanced culture and history, yet more brutal one too, it.. makes me wonder what's.. gonna happen to him.. if.. Spike really wasn't from this world.. what connections does he have to that one?" Ember asked with worry while Twilight came besides her and was questioning similar things.

"I know.. I've been questioning this too, I thought I was strong enough to keep Equestria safe from the threats we've stopped, Tirek, Chrysalis, Sombra, all of them pushed me and my friends to great lengths, but we always came out in the end. But.. with this one attack, they were stronger then any of us could've thought, even if we were unprepared, we thought we were enough to stop them, but they're magic was so strong.. the dark powers they used was far different then what I've seen. And.. they kidnapped Spike because of it.." Twilight said with regret while Ember looked down with shame.

"How are the others holding up? With.. the meeting we're having in a bit, I'm sure they all need they're time to think over this too right?" Ember asked which made Twilight think over it.

"Thorax and the others are already in the Cutie Map room to discuss this when Celestial and Luna get back with Discord. They're all on the edge right now with what's happened, and we're.. just worried that something worse is about to happen.. but we don't know what.." Twilight said with worry as they looked over the view together.

As they looked over the view together, Ember was wondering more about why they didn't give Spike's egg to her father or a dragon that could properly raise him in the first place, while they had they're reasons, there was still more she was questioning.
"Twilight, you said you hatched Spike with your magic for an experiment. After Celestia found it in the woods where there were no signs of his parents, I have to ask, why didn't you guys deliver the egg to a dragon that could keep it safe until it hatched? I know there are reasons that egg ended up there, but we don't know what exactly. And to know that you were experimenting on it, it just makes me really tense and a bit concerned on why you guys never told my father about this?" Ember asked which made Twilight think over it.

"It was an important experiment Ember, while we wish we could've given that egg to a proper dragon parent who could've raised him. I.. had the feeling that if I didn't hatch it, it may have never hatched naturally. My magic seemed to be the only thing to help it hatch, and I think it's one of the reasons it's tied into this.. Dragon Realm Celestia told us about. We don't know who Spike's parents are, but if they had an important reason to send him here, maybe it was near Canterlot for that very reason, so I could hatch him and raise him to be who he is today." Twilight explained which made her think over it.

"Well, as long as you took care of him, I guess I can't be too upset about it. But next time you find an abandoned dragon egg, you need to tell me and my father about it, we can't risk tension between our races that could risk starting a war. And with what we're going through right now, it's best we take all the help we can get right now, because if Spike's out there, we need to find him.. soon.." Ember prayed while they soon turned to eachother again.

"Don't worry Ember, I'll make sure of it. I'm really sorry this is happening, I thought we were strong enough to take them on, but.. they were too much, and now.. I don't know when we'll see him again, I.. just have a bad feeling something's changed about him, and it could be both for good reasons, and bad ones." Twilight said with worry for what's happened to him.

"I know, I've had that weird feeling too, I feel like something's happened to him, I just.. don't know if we'll find him so easily, even with Discords help. If he's really in a world that could take decades to find, how will we be able to handle ourselves without him? Look at us Twilight, we're both trying to be the best leaders we can, and yet.. when something like this happens, it makes me question if we're even the right person for it.." Ember said with guilt as she looked at her own claws, even when she had the Bloodstone Scepter in it, she felt like it's power was meant for Spike, he earned it, and the only reason she's in charge now, is because he passed it to her.

"We all have tough challenges to face as we try and become rulers, believe me, I know it. I've struggled with things for a while with being a princess, and this attack only made things harder. But if we can push through them, I'm sure that one day, we'll be strong rulers that will help our nations grow in some way.." Twilight said with some hope as they looked over the large castle together.

"Do you.. really think we'll be able to save him? And stop this threat? Or does Spike really have to face this threat alone, and all we can do is just wait for him to finish the job?" Ember asked with worry as she doesn't know if someone like him can handle such a task.

"If Spike's more then we've seen him to be, he could have a chance. But we at least need to find the world he's in, let's just hope he's alright where he is, and we can stop this threat before it becomes too big for us." Twilight suggested which Ember agreed with.

"I hope so Twilight." Ember prayed as they heard the door open up again, and this time, they saw Thorax come up to them with a concerned look.

"They're all ready for us, and they have Discord with them too." Thorax reported which got they're attention.

"Let's hope he's at least willing to talk with us about this..." Twilight said hopefully as they walked to the Cutie Map room to talk with Discord who could be the only one that could help locate Spike.

But unfortunately, Discord wasn't in the best mood after learning of the threat that recently attacked Equestria, Celestia was right to think that even he would be scared of Malefor's eventual return.
"No, no no! I refuse to be in a room where that freaks name is mentioned!" Discord refused with an upset look as he was teleporting all over the Cute Map room.

Twilight and the others were all in their seats while looking over the Cutie Map, but Discord seemed really anxious about knowing of Malefor's army striking them.
"Discord, we won't be able to find out how to stop him if you don't help us with this." Celestia advised as he teleported over the map while crossing his arms.

"Do you really think that you can stop that maniac?! I know him far better then you think Celestia, and believe me, he can cause more Chaos then even I can! I know of the brutal things he's done to his enemy's Celestia, and if he's starting to make his presence known again, I would rather be back in Tartarus then to face him again!" Discord said with an upset, and afraid look at the very name of him.

"That guys army almost destroyed Ponyville Discord! And they weren't even being ordered by him, they were being ordered by a dragon by the name of.. Cynder. If she can cause that much trouble with an order to capture Spike, then just imagine what that monster could do to Equestria!" Luna argued back while he finally sat in his own chair and crossed his arms.

"Well I hate to break it to you your highness, but the world he's from has far stronger magic then any of us have. You may know of his history, but the power he has behind him is stronger then any of us realize! I may be the God of Chaos, and like stirring up trouble every now and then, but if that maniac is coming back, then you all should just prepare for the worst, there's no stopping a freak like him!" Discord replied which made everyone a bit upset to know this.

"You think we don't know that Discord?! Our friend got kidnapped because of him and his armies! We barely stood a chance against them, but we need to find out where he is before they strike again!" Rainbow Dash countered which he only scoffed at.

"You mean that little dragon friend of yours? Honestly I had a feeling they'd be coming for him, with the dark power I felt around him when I last saw him, I had a feeling he'd be they're target if they ever found this place." Discord replied which confused them a bit.

"Wait.. you mean you've felt a dark power coming from him too?" Celestia asked which Discord only smirked at.

"I can feel something's off the moment I see it Celestia, and boy let me tell you, there was something different about your dragon friend then the rest of you. I could feel it, and to know that they took him to the Dragon Realm, it makes me think that it's for something far more important." Discord replied as Celestia and Luna had told his everything about this by now.

"We know that by now Discord, that's why.. we need your help to find him. We think if we can use our powers with yours, we could at least locate where Spike is, and try to save him before something awful happens to him." Rarity explained while he was forming some popcorn to eat.

"You need my help to find him? I thought the Power of Friendship could do anything, it helped defeat me didn't it? What's stopping it from taking some time to find him yourselves?" Discord mocked which made them all more upset from hearing it.

"It's because we don't have time to wait! If we don't do something about this soon Discord, we could be on the verge of another attack, and if we don't find him, we may be in for something worse then what's already happened!" Pinkie shouted with frustration which surprised the group, but they could understand why she's frustrated with everything.

"Discord, please listen. Our friend was kidnapped by those monsters when we weren't strong enough, we almost lost the whole village when they attacked. If we don't find out what they're next move is, we could lose Equestria! Please Discord, we can't risk losing more then what we already have!" Fluttershy begged which made him stop for a moment, he saw her puppy eyes and knew that she really needed this from him, and he still cares for her too.

Discord looked over the whole room and saw all of the Mane 6 and princesses were worried about this too, Ember was crossing her arms and wasn't saying anything right now, while Thorax was just praying Spike would be okay, he had a bad feeling that something was about to happen, and he finally sighed in defeat and knew he had to help them somehow.
"Alright, I'll see what I can do. But you must know, this is the tale of the Purple Dragon, the story that could finally bring the Dark Master's reign to an end. I'm just.. really afraid that if we do anything to try and help that guy, it could only make things worse." Discord said with worry while he was finally calming down and only floated above his chair.

"We're all worried about him Discord, but we won't be able to do anything if we don't find him. You think your power could be strong enough to locate where he is?" Thorax asked which made him think over it.

"It may be hard even with your help. While it'll make things a bit easier. Sometimes my magic can make me see things I wasn't supposed to, and from what I've seen.. I think there's more to Spike then we may realize, he may be more then this Purple Dragon in legend.. he could be something far more important then we think.." Discord said with concern which worried the whole group.

"What do ya mean by that Discord?" Applejack asked while he tried to explain this.

"I've been seeing these.. strange things that relate to Spike in some way, I don't know how, but it's like my powers were trying to tell me something. I've seen tons of things regarding the little guy, more then we know in fact, I think it's more then even he knows. It's like I've seen.. multiple versions of him at once, and the stuff I've seen is just.. hard for even me to try and figure out." Discord answered which was worrying.

"What have you been seeing Discord?" Ember asked with a suspicious look.

"Sometimes when I least expect it.. I've.. seen a strange vision involving Spike. It's hard to describe how many I've seen, but they all relate to something different happening in that little guys life, without you. I can't explain it, I just feel like there's more to him then we think, and if this had happened to him too, I feel like there's a deeper meaning behind why he was taken." Discord said with worry which confused the whole group.

"Why would all those visions happen anyway? What would cause them to happen?" Rainbow Dash asked with concern for what they're hearing.

"How many visions of Spike have you had? What more have you seen of him?" Luna asked confused with what he's meaning.

"I just said, I can't explain it. I've seen dozens, and they all relate to him going through some sort of life and journey without you with him. And it's just made me think if this scenario is one of them, one where he was taken to the Dragon World, I think it's like he was meant to go there, and discover a deeper meaning behind his origins then we might think." Discord theorized which was just confusing to them.

"Can ya just try to make things less confusing?" Applejack asked as her head was hurting from all this.

"Sorry, what I'm just trying to say, is that I think that he was meant to leave you all at some point. Not just because of this prophecy, but for something more important. And I'm trying to say that if I were to try and locate him with a combination of our powers, it would still take a long time to locate him, it could take a few years if we were to keep trying over and over again each day, but no matter how long it takes. I don't think it'll be soon enough to have us find the little guy before he's already finished with what's happening." Discord explained which made them groan in defeat to know that.

"Why haven't you told us about these visions you've had Discord? We could be looking at a much bigger problem then we may think if you did?" Celestia asked with an upset look to know he's been hiding this from him.

"I'm sorry Celestia, but I just don't know how they're happening, I thought they were weird dreams of sorts, but they just kept on going. And I didn't see this happening, and it's just.. made me worried on what's happening with Spike. I don't know if he's gonna be able to stop this monster from destroying the Dragon Realm, and then this one. Or if he will with the help of someone else. I just.. didn't know how to process it all, and that's saying something from someone like me!" Discord said as he pointed at himself which made Celestia sigh in response.

"By my mother's name, why did this have to happen to us?" Celestia asked with regret for what they're all dealing with right now.

Twilight sighed hearing all of this too, but no matter all he's told them, they can't just quit and let this threat spread.
"No matter how long it takes, we need to find out where he is. I think if we don't do something soon, we may be in for a worse attack then what we've already had. If Spike's really more important then we think, and he came from this Dragon Realm, we need to at least find him if he makes it through this. He should at least have his friends besides him. Even if it takes years to do it, we need to find this Dragon Realm, and be there for him when he has to face this threat." Twilight said with a serious look which got everyone back on track.

"She's right Discord, even if it takes years to do so, we need your help and your power to try and locate him, possibly even make a portal or something to help us make it there. Do you think your power can do that?" Rarity asked while he thought over it for a bit.

"It could work, but we would need to be careful, one wrong mistake could have things take longer then we think. We would need to keep our powers in perfect sync in order to try and locate him, there are many worlds beyond Equestria, and we could see things we were never meant to if we try to find him." Discord warned which Twilight had to push through.

"I don't care what we see.. as long as it helps us find Spike, it'll be worth it, we'll start trying this out by tomorrow, we'll help rebuild our homes during the free time we have, but until we locate him, we can't give up hope on where he is, alright girls?" Twilight asked the others who were alright with this too.

"Let's just hope he can hold out for as long as takes for us to find him." Ember said with hope while they were all finally standing up to get things started.

"Then it's settled, first thing tomorrow, we'll..." Celestia was about to give her instructions next, but before she could even finish, the Cute Map was suddenly glowing brightly again which caught they're attention.

"The Cutie Map? Why is it glowing at this time?" Rainbow Dash asked as they all took a close look at it, and they seemed to see a strange red mark form near the Dragon Lands.

"That's.. near the Dragon Lands, this thing is meant to show any friendship problems that are happening right now right?" Ember asked while remembering what Twilight told her.

"Yeah but.. I don't think it's shown a mark like that before.." Twilight said with concern as they were seeing something else.

But Ember's head suddenly started to hurt as she felt something was off, and that's when she had a flash in her head, and she seemed to see a familiar dark portal open up near the borders that lead to the Dragon Lands..
"Hold on.. I.. feel somethings wrong.. very very wrong..." Ember said with fear as she saw something bad was about to happen.

"Why? What's wrong Ember?" Twilight asked with worry, Ember only ran up to the balcony she was at before and felt something really bad happening, there was something coming, and they may have had the right to worry about an upcoming attack.
"T... the Dragon Lands are under attack.. I need to go, now!" Ember shouted as she quickly spread her wings and took off to the sky's as fast as she could.

The others were shocked to hear this as she flew off, and they were all getting worried on what she just said.
"Wait, the Dragon Lands are being attacked? Why?" Rainbow Dash asked while Discord had a look of fear, he could feel a dark presence coming into this world again.. and he has an idea on why they're here again..

"They're here.. we should've been more prepared..." Discord said with fear which made them all gasp with shock and fear as they realized what he was talking about.

"Oh no.. we need to get to the Dragon Lands, now!" Celestia ordered as she prepared a teleportation spell to bring all of them to the Dragon Lands.

"Let's hurry.. we need to stop them before they take someone else..." Twilight said with fear as Celestia teleported all of them to the Dragon Lands, this was the start of something much worse, and if they can't stop it.. Spike may be the only hope there is to stop the Dark Master from destroying Equestria, and all the worlds to follow it...

This will be followed up in Dawn of the Dragon in an important way, it'll tie into the visions Spike's been having in the Eternal night that he mentioned at the start of the game, it's all gonna lead to another character becoming the next Terror of the Skies for the next game, and I'm sure you guys will figure out who it could be, I just hope you like what this is setting up, and look forward to the next one!
