Rarity walked home alongside Applejack. “Well that was interesting...”
“Sure...”
“We'll save any discussion on that for later, I do have a much more pressing matter. One that might cheer you up.”
“What's that?”
“We decided it might be best to tell Scootaloo she has a new home sooner rather than later, and your home is the best. Me and RD fully support you becoming her new mom.”
Applejack stopped in her steps. “What?”
“Listen, darling, I just realized that, I struggle with my sister alone, and RD can still be a big sister no matter where Scootaloo is. There are also... other concerns. But I think that Scootaloo would be the safest at your home.”
“Sugarcube, are you sure? Ah know how much you two wanted her.”
“And I know how much you do.”
“Well... let's get crack'n then. Make that filly an apple today. Ah still got the papers.”
“And we're there to support you.”
The smile on Applejack's face brightened Rarity's entire world. The brightness in her eyes and the pep in her step. She was always going to be a better mom than Rarity. Besides that, after seeing the damage that a monster-filly like Twilight could do... Well, it was better to only expose one filly to possible dangers, Scootaloo needed a normal home, and Rarity was far from normal. A secret only between her, Celestia, Luna, and Rainbow Dash.

Celestia was busy in the shower, well in Twilight's shower, when the door to the bathroom was thrown open. Her mane was full of suds and her eyes closed as she stared up at the shower head and opened her mouth to get a less-than-dignified drink. She half expected to hear Twilight peeing but when she just heard something stammering by the door she opened one eye and saw a blushing orange pony sitting there, looking about as shocked as she could.
Celestia finished her showerhead drink and gulped. “Am I not the droid you were looking for?”
Applejack picked her jaw up off the floor and swallowed dryly. “C-Celestia. Um, Twilight told me to just come in and say hi and um.”
“Ah yes, did you decide to adopt the little one now?”
She nodded.
“Did you also want to continue watching me shower?”
She nodded.
“This would be our third date, hun. You know what happens when that one ends right?”
Applejack looked ready to pass out. “Ah'm sorry Ah d-didn't-”
“It's okay. You know that I am part of Twilight's harem, or she's part of mine, it matters little. You are special to me, and I won't share you unless you want me to.”
“W-we're on a time frame.”
“Oh poo, I do love wasting time.”
Celestia turned off the water, and in a flash of golden light, dried herself, and the entire shower with one simple spell. “Okay then, let's be off to make your family one member larger.”
She was aware of Applejack's eyes lingering on her as they left the washroom together. Oh today was going to be fun. As the two of them left the house, Celestia did have one question for her. “Applejack, I didn't expect you to be willing to come back here today.”
“Yeah well, Rares promised to distract Twi, so Ah don't uh... encounter her so soon...”
Celestia didn't say anything else, she merely placed a wing upon her friend's back and held her close. Maybe she made a mistake after all, returning that memory to Applejack the next morning... was that really the best move?
The day wasn't really as lively as she thought it would be, to her surprise, Scootaloo was already at Applejack's house, she'd been staying there... for two weeks... All that needed done was for Applejack to sign the papers, and once that was done they went to go surprise the little filly.
“This here is Scoot's room. We figured if she was staying with us so much she should have one.”
They pushed open the doors and inside saw Scootaloo lying on the bed, posters of Rainbow Dash, and the mane six were hung up on the wall. Nearby the bed stand was a foot tall figurine... of Applejack. “Hmm, I didn't know you had a figurine too.”
Applejack lowered her hat a little. “Not mah decision. Twi... uh, signed off on the Guardians of Equestria toy line without talking to us first. Thankfully she did it fer charity, but we all had to talk to her about that fer a minute.”
“Oh... um... that one was my fault. Twilight's covering for me. I signed off on those without looking at the paperwork, I just didn't think they made one of... well my favorite pony. I'll have to get one of you now too. You and Twilight, sitting on my nightstand.”
“Ain't Twi yer favorite.”
“She's my daughter, you're my special somepony. I can have two favorites.”
“You know that's really weird right.”
“Sweetie, when you're as old as I am, nothing is weird anymore.”
A tiny cough caught their attention and made them both look back at Scootaloo. “You two want to tell me what I did so I can apologize and stop hearing you two flirt?”
Applejack's cheeks went bright red, but she managed to speak with the kind of confidence she always held... well almost always. “Sure thing, we got some good news fer ya Scootaloo.”
“You figured out how to make me fly?”
“Better.”
“Better than flying?”
“Ayep. Looky here.” Applejack walked to the bed and laid the adoption paper, signed and stamped on the bed. Celestia stayed by the doorway, she was here to support her friend, not interrupt her family time.
Scootaloo looked over at, read it, and then read it again, her eyes widening as she slowly mouthed the words. “Adoption, applejack, legal guardian, signed...”
By the time she was done tears were crawling down the sides of her cheeks as she looked up at Applejack. “Y-your right, this is better than flying. I... do you really mean it? Is this real? Like really real?”
“Sure is.”
“I'm an apple now!”
“You always were filly, now it's just official.”
Scootaloo jumped into Applejack's embrace, her tiny wings buzzing like a bee as she nuzzled into the mare's chest, crying and laughing at the same time. Celestia gave a simple nod to Applejack and closed the door, she would let them have this. Confidence time was over, now it was private time for the family. It was so... so touching, that Celestia wanted nothing more than to go home right now and hold her own baby girl tight... but that would lead to another round of... what did they even do last time, she had spaced out on it near the end.
Celestia waited downstairs drinking some iced tea. It took a while but eventually the pair came down, Scootaloo running out the door. Her face flushed red from the crying but a smile so warm that it could melt the coldest hearts. “See you later sis, I'm going to tell Applebloom!”
Applejack waved her off. “See you at dinner, Scoots.”
Applejack joined the table by Celestia and was smiling nonstop. “Ah... Ah was a mite afraid she might be mad at me fer that...”
“You gave her a room before, now you gave her a permanent home and family. That's a gift nopony had ever given her before, of course she's happy. You'll be her hero for the rest of her life.”
“Ya really think so?”
“You already are. I didn't see any figurines of Rainbow Dash in there.”
“Ah... yer... uh... yer right about that. She had a chance to pick either of us at the store, but chose me... she said it was cus mine was on sale and she didn't want me to spend extra but...”
“Now you think she would have chosen you either way.”
“Ayep...”
“It's a big responsibility, raising a filly. Raising two of them. You'll make mistakes, but never let that stop you from trying. We all make mistakes. We just have to keep trying to do the best we can and learn from them.”
“Ya really know yer stuff don'tcha?”
“I have raised hundreds of ponies in my lifetime. Some I have had excellent luck with, some I didn't bond with, some... I made mistakes and lost...” Memories of foals, motionless, cold, laying in her embrace when no tears, no magic could save them flooded her mind.
“Tia, you okay?”
Celestia felt a single tear run down her cheek. She wiped it away. “Sorry, sometimes memories, old ones come back and they hit as hard as the day they happened. The worst feeling in the world is losing a filly... I pray it never happens to you.”
“Ah'm so sorry.”
“It's okay, AJ... I'm over a thousand years old. I've experienced every good, and every evil that has ever been done... Even I've been vulnerable and hurt.”
“Is that why you left the memories of what Twi did t' me?”
“Darklight, it was not Twilight that did that... and I don't know.”
“You don't know why you did something?”
“At the end of the day, I'm just a pony, even I do things and not think about them sometimes...”
“Hmm...”
“I think though... I... I couldn't lie to you. Not to you. It would have hurt me to do so... if you want I can remove them now...”
“No, Ah... Ah understand. Thank you fer not hiding this from me.”
“Is it okay if I use the L word now?”
“Sugarcube, we're all in the strangest place Ah've ever been. Ah love you.”
“I love you too.”
“Listen, Ah... Ah'll try and forgive Twi and move on from what happened, but it'll take time...”
“That's fine. You don't owe me anything.”
“You just approved Scoot's adoption and paid fer the whole thing. Ah owe you a lot.”
Celestia leaned over, and pressed her lips gently to Applejack's. “You owe me nothing. I love you, and I'd do this even if we weren't dating.”
Applejack nodded and smiled. “Well... uh... it is the third date ya know...”
“I won't push you.”
“What if Ah push you?”
“Are you that strong? I am quite heavy you know.”
“Ah could push ya all the way t' mah bedroom.”
“I'd like to see you try.”
Before Celestia could even reply, Applejack moved fast as lightning, slid underneath Celestia and with the strength of the gods, actually picked her up. “AH!”
“Ah, haa, told ya, haa Ah could do it.”
“P-put me down, I'll walk, you'll hurt yourself.”
“No, ah am gonna do it.”
Celestia's horn lit up and she used a telekinesis spell to lesson her weight. “You are going to hurt yourself.”
“Celestia stop that, Ah am doing this on mah own terms.”
“You are so stubborn.”
Celestia lessened the spell... a little. Applejack seemed to accept this and continue carrying her all the way to the bedroom.
Once there she tossed Celestia onto the bed. The bed's legs all snapped at once as the bed fell right to the floor under her giant weight. Celestia sat there feeling more like an idiot than ever... a fat idiot...
Applejack shut her door and shrugged. “Guess ya owe me a new bed.”
“I owe you one?”
“Yep, one that can support yer beautiful body. Otherwise we can't do this more often.”
“oh... OH, I see, well I suppose it is my fault. I should ha-”
Applejack pounced on top of her, their lips locking together as Celestia laid on her back, hooves searching for purchase on her apple lover's body. Hot tingly passion surged through her as she squeezed everything she could. Gently, but enough to know she owned this, this was her lover.
Soon Applejack had found a position to rub herself against Celestia's nethers. Their bodies connected, heat surging through them as they thrust upon each other, moaning, grinding, lost to the sweaty work out of lust. She didn't expect this to actually happen today but she was more than pleased with it, and with her new lover.
Once it was over they laid down, Celestia well fed on the essence of her new lover. Holding her tight to her side. “I love you, Applejack.”
“Ah love ya too.”
“You know I still have harem duties.”
“Ah know... Ah accepted that long ago.”
“But you won't join?”
“Someday, but not yet.”
“That's okay, the choice is always up to you. Your mine for now, and I'll take full advantage of that.”
It wasn't long before a second bout of lovemaking began. Even her essence tasted like apple pie.
Author's Note
Always love writing from Celestia's pov, she's a fun character to play with. Probably why I keep using her as the template for various OCs of mine XD
