Chapter 27: Of Gods and Demons

Twilight blinked, her vision was blinded for a moment but she knew that something was off. She looked around and realized she was no longer on that green grassy hill, in fact she may not be in Equestria at all. She was floating in a long infinite void of rainbows and clouds. In the distance she could see ponies flying around, they all had halos over their heads as they pranced from cloud to cloud.

A legion of pegasi with halos and spears stood facing away from her on all directions, almost like they were protecting this area she was in, or protecting her. From what she wasn't sure.

A warm and melodic voice came from behind her. “I've awaited this day for such a long, long time.”

Twilight spun around to see Princess Celestia standing there. Her wings spread out, the feathers tipped with gold, wearing golden armor, and a crown. She hadn't worn a crown in a long time. Her entire body was glowing brightly, casting shadows in the cloud floor around her.

“Princess Celestia?”

“Queen technically, but that is the name you know me by yes.”

“Where am I?”

“Valhalla the celestial realm, my realm, the realm of the gods. Only gods, and the valiant dead can arrive here.”

“Oh... wait did I die? Did I die from having an orgasm! OH NO!”

“Oh ho ho, relax, you are not dead my child. My sweet wonderful child. You finally ascended.”

“Ascended?”

“Yes, like all of my pupils before you, you have ascended to godhood. Having become a true creature of immortality and power like us.”

“You had other pupils ascend? How come I never heard of them?”

“Gold Lilly and Silver Stirling ring any bells?”

“You trained them?”

“Yes.”

“That's amazing. I didn't know... but how did I ascend?”

“You collected the elements of friendship and love inside of you. It caused your transformation. Better than my other idea.”

“What was your other idea?”

“Give you a magical book with a cursed spell and expect you to fix it. That would have been a mess to clean up if you had a panic attack.”

“You... have awful ideas sometimes.”

“I might be a god, but I am still just a pony.”

“Yeah that doesn't work anymore, your... special. Wait, does that mean I'm an alicorn?”

“I dunno, are you?”

Twilight looked at her sides, lo and behold, there were wings there now. “Well... ain't that a kick in the head... Does that mean I'm not a succubus anymore?”

“Unfortunately no, one step needed to become a god is to become a monster first and then overcome it. Or... surpass it. You will always be a succubus, but you will now be a princess.”

“Do I have to be a princess? I kind of just want to be a wizard and sleep around with my harem.”

“Yes.”

“Crap...”

“This is rather anti-climactic. I expected you to nearly pee yourself in excitement.”

“I didn't exactly want to become an alicorn princess you know, but... I'll accept it.”

“Don't worry, the title is just that, a title, you don't have to do anything different. You want to study magic and sleep with your friends, you can do that now, forever.”

“YES!”

Twilight jumped up and embraced her mentor. Celestia was quite warm here, hotter than usual. “Thank you, Princess Celestia.”

“No, thank you, Twilight. I will do something special for you soon. I promise.”

The light once again blinded Twilight and she blinked only to find herself standing once more in front of Applejack. Applejack who was surrounded by her friends. Applejack was facing away from her. “She was right here, then after she came she just teleported away and-”

Everypony looked at Twilight and shared a universal gasp.

Twilight stretched out her new wings. Something began to grow warm, hot, and powerful inside of her. “Where are the princesses?”

Rainbow's eyes were looking Twilight up and down, a leering hungry gaze that felt all kinds of correct. “Their in the tree house waiting for you to come back. Said they had a surprise for you or something.”

Darklight purred. “Good, how about we all go to my treehouse and have an orgy.”

Every pony had their eyes glued to her and replied in unison. “Yes.”

Darklight grinned. “I would never do anything you don't want me to... but if you want me too, then I can hardly deny your hehehe, delicious bodies any longer.” Her horn lit up, and with one fateful teleportation spell, the entire group was back at the tree house, where Celestia and Luna were about to get the surprise of a life time.

Cadance stepped off the train with Shining Armor besides her. “Well, here we are, Ponyville. I can already smell the lust in this town. Darklight's been active.”

“I really don't want to get mixed with her again.”

“Oh hun its okay, a little incest never hurt anyone. Now lets go find your sister and see what kind of chaos she's caused this time.”

Cadance wasted no time in venturing forth into the town with Shining Armor by her side. As they walked into town, something was clearly amiss. The energy flowing through the town was strong, the essence clung so thickly in the air that Cadance could taste it. In some areas so dense that it formed a pink mist in the air. This was more sexual energy than she'd ever seen in her life, and she scheduled weekly public orgies in town.

Looking around she saw that there were groups of ponies in the act of love making in the middle of the street. Few ponies were trying to hide their blatant lust for each other and were just getting busy whenever and wherever. She hadn't seen this since the last time Darklight came out in Ponyville and used the want it need it spell on the entire town.

Cadance gulped. “We have to hurry. Something's wrong.”

Cadance and Shining Armor charged forward through town. Every step closer to the epicenter of lust made it harder for Cadance and Shining to move. Even with their resistances to lust magic, it was tough to get through all this dark magic. Where did this come from, Darklight's magic was supposed to be sealed, what kind of event could have happened to break the seal entirely like this?

Once they reached the Golden Oak's Library, Cadance couldn't believe her eyes. The tree had mutated, branches ending in phallic shapes, holes resembling vaginas, the tree itself was a beacon of sex, and the lust coming out of it was so thick and choking that it was a pink glowing haze. Anypony inside that would be lost to a world of endless lust and ecstasy.

Cadance hissed. “What... what?”

Shining Armor licked his lips. “I... I think something different happened this time.”

Cadance's horn glowed bright as she surrounded the pair in a pink shield trying to keep the toxic essence out as much as they could. Cadance took the first step, her partner followed her. They walked, step after step toward the tree house of horny. Each step closer pressed the weight of lust down upon their shield.

So thick was the oppressive dark magic that it slowed their momentum to a crawl. Shining Armor's horn was glowing as he added his own magic to the shield trying to keep the pair pushed forward with all of their might. Just as they reached the door, they heard it. A sweet, succulent voice purring to them.

It was Darklight. “Come join us, the party is only just beginning.”

A weak voice spoke up from nearby. “Hey... sis.”

Cadance looked over and her eyes widened as she saw a pony she never thought she'd see again. Alongside another pony she didn't recognize. “Sunset Shimmer, what did you do?”

Sunset shook her head. “It wasn't me. Not this time. I've reformed myself, me and Dick here are trying to stop this. He's completely immune to it, despite his name, but I can't get in there. It nearly took me.”

“That doesn't make me feel much better, why are you here?”

Sunset let out a shivering shaking cough. “I want to help Twilight. We can fix her, we need to separate her and Darklight.”

“Separate them?”

“One universe I've been too, we've seen a similar situation with a Dark Heart monster called Scathe, using the mirror pool they gave Scathe their very own body, separating them from their host. We can do that here. But we have to hurry, or Twilight will be lost too.”

“And what did they do with Scathe when she was out?”

“She stopped existing... it was a different situation, but the rules apply here. Me and Dick will take Darklight and keep her away from your world.”

“So Mom was right, you did go traveling across worlds.”

“I... I did... I'm sorry for the trouble I caused.”

“I forgive you. Your here now to help, that's all that matters. Do you know where mom and auntie are?”

The stallion that was with Sunset, wearing a pair of black sunglasses and a long black trench coat pulled out a cigarette and lit it. “Their inside being given the royal treatment, heh. If I was lowly enough to breed like you animals, I'd even suggest it was hot.”

That threw Cadance for a loop. “Excuse me?”

Sunset stepped in. “His kind don't breed. So he's... kind of an asshole about it. He's a dick, but he's got a good heart.”

Dick nodded. “We aren't really supposed to be interfering like this, but we kind of need Darklight to navigate another, much more dangerous world. So we need her.”

Sunset nodded. “We do, but we will fix this mess first, and work on reforming Darklight later.”

Cadance didn't like this, and given how she left their mom crying last time, she didn't exactly want to trust Sunset now either... but she could feel their hearts, feel their intentions, and Sunset was being honest. She was truly here to help out.

“Okay, then let's do this thing.”
