Chapter 29: Of Gods and Demons part 3

It took... a lot of work, and a lot of magic. Twilight was surprised though, that when all was said and done the town didn't remember the event. At least there was that, but the town was so full of dark magic that Cadance and Twilight spent most of the rest of the day cleaning it up. At least no memory-wiping spells were needed for the general populace this time.

When it was all said and done Twilight finally took a moment to lay down in her library, in front of the fireplace where the warmth would soothe her aching muscles from all the work they'd put in. Nearby Cadance and Shining Armor were getting all cozy as well.

Cadance nuzzled Shining Armor's cheek. “It wasn't that bad now was it?”

“It's just too much stimuli. A stallion isn't meant to feel that much.”

Cadance glanced over at Twilight, their eyes met and Twilight looked away feeling ashamed. She could still feel him inside her. She didn't like stallions... but she did like him. “Sorry.”

Shining Armor shrugged. “Hey, it's not your fault, and it seems the problem's fixed now too. Next time we can do this without the need for dark magic.”

Cadance whistled. “Oh my, I thought you were against this sort of thing. Isn't incest wrong?”

“... well... you said it yourself, families need to bond right? Heh...”

“Good boy, you are learning well the ways of lovemaking.” Cadance put a hoof to her lips. “Oh ho ho, what can we teach him next? Twilight?”

Twilight let out a soft sigh of relief, not only did it make her feel better that her brother hadn't been fully against it... and still wasn't. She could feel the love in the air, it was different than the blatant lust she'd been feeding on before. It was much more calm, peaceful, but still warm and filling. “Mmm, can we teach him algebra, he always sucked at that.”

“Hey, I passed my algebra test!”

“I cheated to make you win. Something about, 'how can a princess love me if I can't pass a single math test' or some such.”

The trio shared a laugh at that. Twilight inhaled deeply, she could feel herself getting stronger, feeling full from a new source of energy. One that was decidedly much better than sex. It took a few minutes but she figured it out soon enough, she was feeding on the energy of friendship. Odd, with Darklight gone, perhaps she was a new creature altogether, perhaps not a succubus anymore after all, but a... friend-ccubus... nah that was a stupid name. She'd come up with a better title when she wasn't so tired.

Twilight stood up and shook her head. “I'm going to bed, today took too much out of me.”

Cadance purred. “Want us to join you?”

“No, I just want to cuddle and you two are way too... um... active for that.”

“Alright, but if you hear noises from us down here you can join in.”

“I'll keep that in mind. Goodnight.”

Twilight made her way up to her bed, climbed into it and closed her eyes. Before long she felt a warm and loving wing lay over her back. She looked up to see Celestia staring down at her. “Cuddles only.”

Celestia giggled. “That's fine, I could use some normal cuddles myself. Good night my love.”

“Good night, mom.”

The pair fell asleep soon after. Twilight's dreams, for the first time in a very long time were full of normal things. Going to parties with Pinkie Pie, making dresses with Rarity, taking care of animals with Fluttershy. Normal, non-horny dreams. It felt like a good break she had needed without realizing it. She needed to just relax for such a long time now.

It was a good night.

The next day the elements of harmony, as well as Cadance had arrived at the Mirror Pools to do the same ritual that had been done on Twilight. To their surprise it worked. Each and everyone of them had their monster self split from their normal pony self. Of course, unlike the original Pinkie Pie clones, these creatures all had their own specific personalities, and still shared the same love that they had before. Though, without a Twilight Sparkle they were leaderless.

Cadance had an idea for that though. She offered them a home in the Crystal Empire, a place where love came freely, and they wouldn't risk turning any unsuspecting ponies into monsters going forward. They all accepted this on the condition they got their own Twilight Sparkle to... educate.

Twilight wasn't the biggest fan of this but she couldn't leave her friends hurting without her. Even if they were the monster forms. So she made one last mirror clone to give them. Hopefully to give a happy and horny life somewhere outside of Ponyville. After that Cadance and Shining Armor took their new... herd, away.

As Twilight walked back home with her original un-corrupted friends she felt the love in the air once more. The friendship they all shared flowed around them, like a delicious wine Twilight was able to drink freely from the energy of friendship. A much more pleasing energy to dine on.

Rarity let out a sigh. “Do you think that they'll be okay in Canterlot?”

Pinkie Pie nodded. “Sure do, they got their own Twilight Sparkle, and Cadance will take good care of the other us.”

Rarity gave Pinkie an odd look. “I never did quite figure out what kind of monster you were supposed to become.”

“A Cheshire probably. Fitting for our little Alice here right, hehe.”

Twilight felt her cheeks growing warm. “I still don't like thinking about what I was... and I'm still so sorry I got you all wrapped up in this mess.”

Applejack placed a foreleg over Twilight's shoulders. “Its fine, sugarcube. You never meant no harm, and we all love you.”

Twilight smiled. “So... are we still... you know... a harem?”

Rainbow Dash flexed her wings. “What you breaking up with us now that you're just a normal alicorn?”

“NO! N-never! I just...”

Rainbow snickered. “Sorry, just teasing. Of course we're still in love with your purple butt. We all agreed to this, well mostly, before any of us were monsters-fillies. So nothing's changed.”

Twilight let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. “Thank you, girls. I love you all so much.”

They all closed in on Twilight for one big group hug. She practically melted into their embrace. Not for the same reasons as before, no more reckless lust, probably. Instead she just felt their love, their friendship, their caring hearts. It all made her feel so good, so tingly. She inhaled the energy of friendship deeply and held them as close as she could. It was kind of hard when five ponies were currently doing their best to consume her in a hug, but she tried.

Only once they let go of her did she breathe freely again. “Thank you.”

She wiped a few tears from her eyes and looked back down the road. Down it she could see Celestia and Luna waiting for them. Of course they may not all be monster-fillies now, but they all understood the price of staying with Luna and Celestia. None of them objected though, now that they knew the stakes, and knew what to expect, it felt so much easier to accept the price of love that came from these two.

Twilight couldn't help but to smile. “I can't wait to get back to their manor, we're going to play board games tonight!”

Rainbow Dash groaned. “Can't we just have sex instead. That's less boring.”

Rarity poked Rainbow in the flank. “We need to act at least somewhat normal now. Less horny.”

The group shared another quick laugh at that. Things were mostly normal again after all, and it was something that Twilight was more than excited to return to. No more monster sex, just normal special somepony time... which probably did include a lot of sex when she thought about it, but it didn't have to require that.

A small but powerful difference.

Once they reached Celestia and Luna Twilight trotted up to them and nuzzled them both. Then planted a kiss on each of their cheeks. “Mommy, Auntie, we're going to have so much fun tonight!”

Celestia purred as she leaned in and kissed Twilight on the lips. “Oh yes, yes we are.”

Luna giggled. “Of course, games first.”

Celestia nodded. “And Twilight can drink alcohol this time.”

Twilight blinked. “I can? I CAN!”

Celestia kissed her once more. “You sure can, though we're going to moderate how much. We're not trying to get you wrecked tonight, just a little tipsy perhaps.”

Luna pouted. “Oh no fun.”

Celestia shot her a sideways glare. “Do you want a vomiting Twilight in the middle of our orgy?”

“N-no.”

“I thought so.”

Twilight's cheeks were burning up. She looked down at the ground beneath her hooves trying to ignore the word 'orgy' as hard as she could but failing.

Pinkie groaned. “How come it's okay when Celestia throws an Orgy Party but not when I throw one?”

Everypony burst out into laughter at that.

“What, I'm asking a serious question here, stop laughing! It's not that funny... okay maybe it is that funny. Heheehehe!”

The group trotted off together. Once they got to the manor outside of Ponyville, Twilight was a little surprised to see that Celestia and Luna had already gotten everything ready for them. Food, drinks, games. Everything was here. Twilight honestly could say that this was the best night she'd had in a very very long time. She couldn't remember how long it had been since she had a normal party like this.

She could feel the friendship in the air. It was thick, almost too thick. The energy of their friendship, the fun and games, the dancing ponies, the music and laughter, it tasted so good and left Twilight feeling beyond satisfied. For once in her life, she figured if she never had sex again, and only got to enjoy this, it would be perfectly fine by her.

Of course, she wasn't going to deny the needs of her lovers. They may be friends but she did love them, so very deeply. Sure she could feed on friendship, but they needed more affection, and she could easily return such feelings, it wasn't too hard for her. After all, she was... what was she now anyway? A princess, princess of what? Books, magic, harems, no, none of that seemed quite right.

Then it hit her. Slowly but surely it was something that should have been obvious from the first day she became an alicorn. She was the princess of friendship.

Looking over to her friends she'd noticed that they'd all slowly migrated toward the bed. A very, very large bed. Celestia was sitting nearby it, her eyes full of heat as they washed over Twilight's body. Celestia purred, “Are you going to join us? We're going to do a bit more than just cuddling this time.”

Twilight gulped. So many ponies, all at once... She walked toward her mother and mentor. “A-alright, just... be gentle.”

“Oh sweetie, I'm going to melt you into a puddle of butter.”

And that was how the first real night of their harem began. A night of fun and games, leading to an orgy of the ages. Yes, Twilight would admit, today was in fact a good day. Or perhaps, even the best night ever.

It wasn't the only thing that would make that night a special one though. A group of lovers. Alicorns, ponies, and even a dragon, all mixed together into a sticky mess of fur and lust on the bed. True love blossoming among all of them as they shared each other in the deepest ways possible.

No there was one other thing left, though Twilight would only learn of this much later. A pony had made a promise that she was going to keep, and it was one Celestia needed more than anything else.

Author's Note

So this stories ending was something I was stuck on for a few months when writing the rough draft. I knew what I wanted, to reveal that Darklight was the real villain and that someone outside the situation had to come in to fix it 'aka Cadance' I did my best to try and hint at Sunset and Dick without spoiling it all.

Sunset and Dick are known for popping into a few stories here and there, be it my visual novels/games/ fanfictions, and they usually drag Darklight along with her, so this is in part Darklight's origin story as well
