'how long has it been now..? A few weeks? Months? YEARS? *sigh* I don't know anymore, all I know, is that I'm not alone here, I figured that out after the fourteenth "Breakthrough"... That's right... I know your listening to me, all of you... I guess I should introduce myself, my name is-'

"L-4! Wake up, it's time for our biggest breakthrough yet!" *'*sigh* my name's Leo, and I guess I'm starting early today...wish me luck.'

"... I'm up." 'i mutter as I stand up from my bed within my "container", a large metal box with a simple bed, toilet, shower, and sink, welp, I'd better get going.' Leo began to follow the shady scientist.

After several minutes of walking, Leo is lead to a heavily fortified steel door with a finger print, blood sample, and retinal scanner identification key necessary to unlock, the scientist pressing his thumb into the finger print scanner before poking his pinky finger for the blood sample, and finally looking directly into the retinal scanner, and after a few seconds of silence.... CLICK, The door creaks open, revealing what appears to be a technological laboratory with a large, circular structure in the centre of the room with a holographic dome surrounding the mechanical structure.

"What...? What is this?" Leo muttered in awe, confusion, and dread.

"This, L-4, is our greatest Breakthrough yet! Dimensional Travel! And now, all we need is somebody to test it out, lucky you, you get to be the first person to transcend the dimensional boundaries!" The scientist exclaimed with a manic grin on her face. "Now then, let us begin."

The scientist spoke as she roughly grabbed Leo's arm and began to drag him towards the device in the center of the room. "This, L-4, is the Quantum Destabilizer, it will Destabilize your very Atoms and scatter them across all Time and Space, before reforming them in a parallel Universe where brilliant scientist's just like us will be awaiting your arrival."

"W-wait, What?!" 'T-they can't be serious, right? There's no way I would survive something like that!' Leo thought with dread and panic as he was strapped down on a circular platform in the center of the device.

"Is everything accounted for, Director?" The lead scientist enquired of his coworkers.

"Affirmative sir, everything is ready to begin as required." The Director replied with a kurt nod of his head.

"Excellent! Let us begin right away!" The lead scientist exclaimed with glee as she began rapidly pressing buttons and flipping switches as she began laughing maniacally. A mechanical voice suddenly spoke through the many speakers within the room.

[Beginning Dimensional Jump in T-30 seconds.]

The mechanical voice messaged as a bright blue light began to spark all around Leo.

"Yes, Yes! It's working! ITS WORKING!!!" The scientist exclaimed with a face splitting grin.

The scientists all cheered with glee, Dimensional travel was within their reach.... Until it wasn't.

From blue, to purple, to red, the light emanating from the machine sparked erratically as the mechanical voice echoes through the room.

[ERROR. Photon readings Negative, dimensional gate U̸n̶s̶t̶a̸b̷l̵e̷.]

And as the Scientist's watched on in terror as the matching they had been working and developing upon for decades began to implode in on itself, they began to hear a monsterously distorted screech for help.

"STOP! STOP! PLEASE! IT HURTS!!! "...and you said the Dimensional Crash came from here?" A voice echoed from within a distorted realm of complete Darkness.

'sigh' "yes, Pixel, it came from here, I swear if it's error agai-" the second voice paused as he saw something which did not belong.

"Uh, Mathew? Why and how is there a REGULAR human in the Void? How are they not dead? I mean they look like a corpse but their breathing." The first voice, Pixel, asked his colleague in confusion.

"I do not know, do you think you can use your ink to assess his memories?" The second voice, Mathew, replied with a similar tone of confusion.

"Sure, just give me a few minutes." Pixel nodded his head as his hand began to morph into a dark and shiny liquid, Pixels inky hand being placed upon the man's forehead...... Resting for a few minutes in silence before bubbling and repulsing off of the man's body.

"So, what did you... see....... Pixel...?" Mathew asked as he saw dark, inky tears forming on his colleagues face, Pixels hands covering his face in horror. "Pixel... Hey, hey look at me. Pixel... PIXEL!!"

"GAH?!" Pixel exclaimed from the sudden loud shout in his ear. "What the hell man?!"

"Well, you looked like you were about to have a panic attack, sigh, what did you see? It must have been really bad for you to react like that." Mathew sighed as he looked down at the unconscious man before them.

"....he's a test subject...a VOIDER test subject........" Pixel muttered, uncharacteristically quiet as he looked down at the man, the badly burnt and barely breathing man.

"WHAT?!" Mathew exclaimed in shock as his, now wide, eyes flickered between Pixel's sad facial expression and the half dead man floating between them.

"...his name is Leo, but They called him L-4....sigh they used him as a test subject for transdimensional travel.... But something went seriously wrong, in all honestly, he Should be dead, ripped apart from the dimensional fracture of his world, but, somehow, I don't know how, our magic began to flow from the portal device into him.... Mathew, he's part Void Dweller..." Pixel explained as he placed his hand on the man's/Leo's chest with a sigh.

"In all honesty it's sickening being used as a test subject for such experiment and putting his life in danger like this but there's nothing we can do change what happened we need focus on this now so I'd say we help him but seeing how damage his body is despite being alive still I suggest we send him to Equestria with a new body." Mathew muttered, placing his hand on-top of pixel's, and with a nod of agreement, both of their hands began to glow a dark, blackish purple, a dark blue tint enveloping the three creatures of void as in a flash of negative light, all three vanished without a trace.

All that remained was a piece of glowing blue string.
