(SFA Centre – Party Room)

The night continued to be full of positivity, The six teams were more and more mingling with each other and seemed good company, despite the fact they’ll be facing each other soon for the charity league.

Soon, the PLS players met up with the Main 6 from Maretime High, with Manchester City meeting with Zipp and Hitch. “Ah, the Stormblazer duo!” City waved as he met the iconic duo, Sunny, Izzy, Pipp and Misty giggled at the small reaction from Hitch and Zipp.

“That's us, and I take you’re Premier League State’s top player?” Zipp asked.

“Manchester City, nice to meet you all, I heard very good things, despite your rough start to the season, you lot came back with an epic performance to take the trophy” City introduced himself.

“That we did, all thanks to our great team captain” Hitch said, though completely missing the small blush from Zipp as she heard his words.

“I’m Sunny Starscout, nice to meet you Manchester City” Sunny beamed with happiness and extended her hand for a handshake.

“Just call me ‘City’, everyone here already does and since my annoying twin United is here, it's kind of better that way” City explained and shaked hands with Sunny

However, Pipp seemed to be more interested in City’s hairstyle, “Oh! That is quite the fetching hairstyle! Please can I take a photo for the Gram” Pipp pleaded with puppy eyes.

City laughed, “Go ahead” he tells Pipp which made her squeak in joy as Pipp took a photo of herself and City, “But I should tell you, this was inspired by the Nordic tribes from the old times, been getting more interested in them growing up, though United always rejected the ancestors for whatever reason” City explained.

“Wow, isn’t the Nordic tribes the Vikings?” Izzy asked.

Soon, some of City’s teammates arrived, most notably; PLS Goalkeeper, Chelsea, “That’s true, should’ve seen him at the PLS Halloween party last year, he absolutely rocked the Viking look” Chelsea explained while also having dreamy eyes, despite what she told herself, she had an absolute admiration for City as a player and person.

“Not just him by the way” a voice spoke up, it was Ligue 1’s Paris St-Germaine, “During last year’s season, both City and Dortmund had the same hairstyle, everyone who watched the league, kept arguing on ‘who wore it better’ and it's still going on to this day” She explained with a smirk.

“And annoyingly, still 50/50” Borussia Dortmund stated, joining the conversation.

Zipp could only chuckle, “Well, it’s gonna take, more than a good hairstyle to beat us” she claimed with a smile.

Everyone laughed, “Careful, you say that now, but if there’s one thing about us players, we have a two-sided personality; off the field, we’re quite the good company, but on the field, we turn into absolute dominate beings of Football, even petty arguments become nothing on the field” Liverpool explained, giving a good warning to the Main 6.

“True, but as some of our rivals found out this season, don’t underestimate Maretime High” Hitch chuckled and toasted a drink with Liverpool.

“Anyhow, I should see the other teams, it was quite nice meeting you Zipp” City stated to Zipp who just smiled, however for some reason; Hitch felt a very sharp twang to his heart, when City said his goodbye to Zipp.

(Meanwhile – with the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts)

Indigo Zap was minding her own business, enjoying her drink while her teammates were else were, Lemon Zest was pigging out on the snacks table with Jet Set trying to pull her away in a laughing fit, Sugarcoat was talking with Wondercolts’ striker Flash Sentry and despite Sugarcoat being very known to be blunt, she seemed to be ‘letting her hair down’ albeit just for tonight.

However, Indigo soon meets with the BA’s triplets; Wolfsburg, Augsburg and Frieburg, “Enjoying the night?” Wolfsburg asked.

“Just for now, but come first game, Crystal Prep is gonna dominate this league!” Indigio claimed, but got laughs from the triplets, “What’s so funny?” she asked, quite pointedly.

“Let’s just say, your school is known for being very competitive, but I don’t think you guys faced teams like ours here” Augsburg explained.

“And there is an old saying, ‘Don’t underestimate your opponents’, trust us, every player in BA knows that one very well” Frieburg stated.

“What are you implying?” Indigio asked, again very pointedly and clenching her fist.

“During one season, we thought we’d dominate the season and that was we all thought until the last match against PLS, where we got absolutely destroyed, by PLS” Wolfsburg explain and rubbed the back of his neck, it was quite embarrassing memory, however Indigio took no mind to it.

“Well, that happened to you, I can promise you at the end of this league, Crystal Prep will hold the trophy” Indigo claimed, rather arrogantly.

This made the triplets reconsider their stance on Crystal Prep, “Don’t say we warned ya, also remember why we’re in this league to begin with” Augsburg stated, before leaving with her brothers.

(Later in the night)

As the night went on, the SFA soon brought a panel and screen to the party.

“Listen up everyone, we just talked to the principals, and they decided it be a fun idea to see what your player rating is before the matches” one of the SFA personnel stated and gaining everyone’s attention. Mainly, Maretime High, Canterlot High and Crystal Prep showed the most interest. “Now how this works is that you place your hand on the panel, and it scans your muscle memory and fatigue, it will make the calculations and give your player rating, these ratings will also improve or degrade as you play in the league” he explains in detail on the process.

The Shadowbolts went first and a lot of them were disappointed with their best being only 86 and their lowest was 69, many of the Shadowbolts felt they got stitched up. However, it was soon Canterlot High’s turn and they faired much better than Crystal Prep, with Rainbow Dash scoring an 88 and their lowest was Fluttershy with a 62, rating wise; the Wondercolts showed better chemistry and ratings.

Soon it was Maretime High’s turn and Zipp goes first, and she placed her hand on the panel and waited for the scan, after a few seconds, the screen showed her rating, she got a 90, the highest rating among the three teams.

“Wow! Great job Zipp!” Pipp exclaimed in joy and the rest took their turns; Hitch got an 89, the same as Sunny, however Pipp and Izzy got 79 much to their disappointment, Misty managed to get a surprising 83 due to her talents at the goalkeeper position. As the rest of the Pegistars took their turns; some were happy with the results and some weren’t, however the Pegistar’s most negative player Posey Bloom took her turn, and she got the absolute worst rating, a mere 51 which made her go off on a Karen rant.

However, Sunny noticed none of the PLS, BA and L1H players took a turn, “Hey! What about you guys? Come on! Have a go!” Sunny states with a smile.

The PLS, BA and L1H players all chuckled, showing that they didn't want to participate.

“What's the matter? Afraid of being rated lower than the Wondercolts?” Rainbow asked with a smug grin.

However the PLS players all smirked, “Alright, if that's what you want, get them City” Liverpool states.

“Yeah, you too Dortmund!” Leverkusen adds with a smile.

The two players shrugged and walked to the panel and had their hands scanned, as the device did their calculations, everyone eagerly waited for the results, soon the screen showed the results and everyone from Maretime High, Canterlot High and Crystal Prep had their jaws dropped to the floor.

The screen showed that Borussia Dortmund had an excellent 92 rating, but then it was Manchester City’s turn, and he scored the absolute highest rating possible, an eyewatering 97 rating which made everyone from PLS to cheer in joy.

“YES! PAY UP BUNDESLIGA!!!” Liverpool shouts in smugness. The BA players all reached in their pockets, and each pulled $10 and gave it to Liverpool who was gleefully chuckling.

“You’re really a purebred gambler Liverpool!” Leverkusen stated in a laugh as she gave the money to Liverpool, who began counting up the money he just won.

The PLS, BA and LH1 players all laughed, while the others took the information in, with City scoring that highly, they didn't want to see how the others would be rated.

Soon after the ratings were done, the SFA soon got everyone’s attention, “Alright everyone, we all hope you’ve had a great night, but its time to show you all the match fixtures for the league. Starting with the Wondercolts going against PLS in the first match, followed by Pegistars who will face Bundesliga Academy and lastly the Shadowbolts against Ligue 1 High. All teams will have 10 matches and we’ll be using the standard points system; 3 for a match win, 1 for draws and 0 for defeats” the SFA speaker explained in detail.

“We’re looking forward to the first match and we hear they’ll be quite the crowd attending the matches, so take the time to prepare and be ready to have a good time! Remember, this league is for a good cause, so please do remember that” the SFA head states and every player nodded in agreement.

Soon the party was over, and everyone headed back to their respective schools to train and prepare for the upcoming matches, however on the ride back home, some thoughts were dominating the minds, such as Hitch feeling a bit of jealousy when Zipp was talking to City. Rainbow Dash for the first time had less confidence seeing the ratings and lastly Indigio Zap who had a negative thought about her behaviour towards the PLS, BA and L1H players. But they all shook their thoughts out and focused on preparing for the first match against the most elite teams around.

So yeah, should state that Manchester City is based on Earling Haaland, my favourite player in the Premier League. So next chapter will be about the matches, hope you all are enjoying the story so far.
