Equestria Girls Duel Monsters: Unleash the Seal

A news reporter stands in front of the duel park that held the battle between Gold and the dark general. "This is Mic Drop for Canterlot News. Another odd occurrence has happened around the newest duelist to Canterlot, Golden Rise. He has faced an n figure is a duel that was said to feel to real. Many have reported giant monsters unlike anything seen from the card game itself. As worried citizens look on many duels, wondering when this 'darkness' will strike again, many others have said that Gold has stopped the threat for now. We will keep you updated as more information is made available. Once again, I am Mic Drop for-" A dark figure dashes past behind the camera man. "Turn around! Turn around! Something just moved behind you!" Mic Drop forces the camera man to turn around but misses whatever he saw. "What was that?"

A figure jumps and runs through the streets and alleys. There is a heavy snarl as it moves around. It runs into the forest and looks around the area covered in the full moon light. It releases a powerful howl as the hulking wolf like beast stands in the center of a field. "Where are you?" It snarls. It squints and focus its night-vision to find what is searching for. "I know your here, you beast! You have done enough damage already!" The sound of rattling wood is heard around the forest. "There you are!" The wolf man rushes into the forest and tackles a wooden beast. Its green eyes glow as the wolf man scratches at it. The wolf man tears the wooden wolf apart, destroying it completely. A green mist dissipates from the wood. "That should take care of that for awhile. Enough for tonight." The wolf man slashes the air and forms a blue tear where he slashed. He jumps in and is teleported to a house just outside of town. The wolf man shrinks down and returns to his normal self. Now stands a guy with dark grey skin, blue and grey long hair, a white shirt with a blue moon on it and faux leather pants. He walks up to the house to sleep for school the next day.

Sunset looks at the blank card she found. She turns it in her hands as she walks around the school grounds, wondering just what the card was. "Why would this randomly be with Gold? What is the connection?" As she walks, she accidently bumps into a figure with grey skin, wearing a hoodie, dropping the card. "Sorry about that."

"Your good, you just seemed distracted." The guy picks up the card and hands it back to Sunset. "You dropped this."

"Thanks. I don't think I've seen you before."

"I have been in this school for awhile but I enjoy sticking to the background. I'm Sirius Claw."

"Nice to officially meet you... I'm sure you know me."

"Yeah but you seemed to have changed Sunset. There is a different aura about you."

"Thanks, Sirius. That means a lot to me."

"No problem. Have a good day." He walks off.

Sunset looks down at the card and see that its no longer blank. Now a symbol of three blue scratches is on it. She looks up and still sees Sirius leaving. "How is there something on here now?" As Sirius turns a corner, the image fades back to a blank card. Sunset tries chasing him but as she goes around the corner, he is already gone. "Does this mean, there is a connection to him? But how did that even happen?" Sunset pockets the card again, now keeping in mind of finding Sirius again to see if what she saw was connected to him.

Once school is finished, Sunset walks around the duel fields looking for anything odd or dangerous. She sees one field where Fluttershy id dueling Snips. Snail is watching from the sidelines with a smirk. Snips calls out his last attack and takes out the last of Fluttershy's life points. "You lose. I will be taking that rare Kuribo of yours."

"But you dragged me into this duel. I thought we weren't even putting up cards." Fluttershy begins to shake.

"That's what yo thought." Snips and Snails start to corner Fluttershy.

Sunset starts to walk towards them to use what little power she still has over Snips and Snails to put a stop to this. But Sirius gets between the two and FLuttershy. "She never agreed on a wager. Now back off."

"Oh look at what the cat dragged in." Snips had an arrogant smile.

"Yeah... wait, what cat?" Snips facepalmed at Snails' reaction.

"If you think your so great, why don't you duel me?" Sirius brought out his duel disk.

"Oh yeah. You never dueled around here before, so I bet you got nothing in that deck of yours."

"Are you scared?"

"Me? Scared? Not at all. Me and Snails will show you not to get in the way of us."

Snails activated his duel disk. "Yeah. You got nothing on us."

"Fine then. I will take the both of you on." Sirius activates his duel disk, it spreads out into a crescent moon shape.

"Let's duel!"

Sirius: 16000
Snips+Snails: 16000

Snips starts off the duel. "I will set one monster and one card face down. That ends my turn."

"I draw." Snails draws his first card. "I summon out Armored Bee." A bee covered in silver plating appears on the field. Its sharp stinger glints in the sunlight. "Then I will set two cards facedown and end my turn."

"I draw." Sirius drew his first card. "I summon out LV4 Canis Minor."

This card is not destroyed by battle. Every time this card attacks an opponent's monster, add a "Star" Counter to this card. When this card has two "Star" Counters on it, you can tribute this card to summon out a "LV8 Canis Major" from your hand.

A small wolf cub with star covered fur bounds onto the field. It sits down and sticks its tongue out. Fluttershy immediately love the cute monster. "Aw, he's such an adorable puppy."

Snips laughs. "That's your big beginning move? A little dog with only a 1000 attack points?"

"Its not about the attack of the monster. Its what it can do. Now Canis Minor, attack Snip's facedown." The pup bounds forward and slashes at the facedown. The card flips as and a two headed dragon like beast pops up and gives a powerful roar. Canis Minor gives a scared yelp and runs back to Sirius' side of the field. A star shines brighter on Canis Minor.

"My Two-Headed King Rex seems to be too big for your little dog. And your taking 200 damage."

Sirius: 15800

Sirius smirks. "Like I said, its about how you use your cards. I activate Double Attack. By discarding a level 5 monster to my graveyard, Canis Minor can attack again. So now Canis Minor attacks Armored Bee!" Canis Minor ran forward and slashed at Armored Bee. The bee deflected the claws and Canis Minor jumped back to the other field. A second start started to shine on Canis Minor.

"Why did you attack my monster to?"

"So I can activate this, Guiding Star."

A star appeared on Armored Bee and Two-Headed King Rex. A third star shone brighter on Canis Minor. "This seems bad." Snails now looked worried.

"For you, it is. Because now that there are at least two Star Counters on Canis Minor, I can tribute it to summon out LV8 Canis Major!"

Canis Minor disappeared in a blinding light. When the light faded, a huge wolf stood in its place. Its teeth bared at Snips and Snails. Its starry coat flowed in the breeze as three starts started to shine brighter on it.

"And now by removing a Star Counter from it, I can destroy both of your monsters." Canis Major released a powerful howl that destroyed both monsters.

"Uh... this is... bad." Snips looked eve more scared.

"That will end my turn." Sirius sets a card facedown.

"I draw." Snips draws his next card. "I can still take you down. I just need... uh..." He looked at his card frantically. "Uh... I activate my facedown card, Jurassic Power! This Continuous Spell lets me summon out a level 5 or higher Dinosaur type monster without a tribute. And I also activate Double Summon to bring out two." Snips chose two cards from his hand. "So come on out Mighty Dino King Rex and Super Conductor Tyranno!"

The ground stated to shake as two huge beast took the field. One was a giant purple and red dinosaur with two heads. two tails and giant wings. It stomped the ground with a mighty roar. The second dinosaur stood even taller, covered in steel armor with purple orbs on it and electricity dancing around it. "And due to Jurassic Power, they get a 300 attack point boost."

Super Conductor Tyranno: 3300-> 3600

"Now I can show you real power. I activate the field spell, Lost World." The ground became covered in a rocky terrain. "And now all non-Dinosaur type monster lose 500 ATK and Defense."

LV8 Canis Major: 4000-> 3500

"Now your wolf is weak enough for Tyranno to destroy it. Attack his wolf!" Tyranno runs at Canis Major for the attack.

"Nice try. I activate Magic Cylinder." Tyranno runs into one cylinder and comes out the other, attacking Snips instead.

Snips and Snails: 12,400

"Seems like even the simplest cards are sill good. And now I will use the quick effect of my Stellar Gemini. By banishing i from the graveyard, I can set another copy of Magic Cylinder. Just incase you were thinking of using Rex to destroy both our monsters."

"I... end my turn."

Snails draws his card. "I will set a monster facedown. Then I activate the field spell, Forest." The area was surrounded in trees. "Now I activate DNA Surgery. I now change all monster to Insect-type monsters." Antenna appeared on all the monsters.

"What are you doing Snails?!"

"What?"

"You just turned my dinos into insects and now they loose there power boost."

"Oh..."

"Not only that boys, your new insect dinos also have their power dropped due to Lost World, but the Forest boost also evens things out a bit"

Mighty Dino King Rex: 3500-> 2900
Super Conductor Tyranno: 3600-> 3000

LV8 Canis Major: 3500-> 3700

"Uh... I end my turn."

"Seems like you guys dont have synergy beween the two of you. But that just shows why your power over ability thoughts can get you in trouble. I draw." Sirius draws his card. "I activate Stellar Impact."

"And with three counters on Canis Major, it gets three extra attacks. Now Canis Major, wipe out their field!" Canis Major charges forward and swipes at the facedown first. 8-Claws Scorpion is obliterated.

Snips and Snails: 8900

Canis Major then swipes its claws at Rex and Tyranno, slash both with a fierce attack and destroying them.

Snips and Snails: 7400

"And now attack them directly!" Canis Major charges once again and swipes at the two as they duck from the attack.

Snips and Snails: 3700

"And with nothing more to do, I end my turn."

Snips and Snails look terrified at their situation. There own cards set them up to fail this duel. "I think we know what to do Snails." They both tossed down their duel disks. "We forfeit! You win!" The two try to run but Sirius quickly grabs them.

"Now fellas, I suggest you return all those cards you 'won' from others." The group is surrounded by duelist who had their cards taken. Snips and Snails empty their pockets and run off. Everyone grabs their cards as they are grateful for Sirius. He grabs the Kuribo on the ground and gives it back to Fluttershy. "I believe this is yours."

"Thank you so much Sirius. I didn't think anyone would stand up to those two, given their terrifying dinosaurs and insects." She shakes at the thought.

"It was nothing. I figured it was either teach them a lesson or lose and have to deal with their mocking for a little bit." Sirius helps Fluttershy up and starts walking around the duel park with her.

Sunset runs up to the two. "Hey Sirius, that was an awesome duel."

"Hey Sunset. Didn't think we would meet again so quick. And thanks, that duel was just something that needed to be done.

Sunset holds up the card again and the blue claws marks have appeared again. She shows it to Sirius. "Have you ever seen a card like this?"

"No, I haven't." Sirius takes the card for a closer look. "This seems so weird and- Whoa!" The card releases a blinding light. When Sirius opens his eyes gain, he is in a grand hallway alone. The floor is made of clouds with the night sky stretching above him. "What is this place?" He walks forward, drawn in by an unknown force. He keeps walking the celestial hallway until he sees a statue. The stone statue depicts a wolf man with armor around its arms and legs and claws marks on its chest. One of its eyes is also clawed away with a scar. Sirius reaches out his hand and the whole hall shakes. The statue begins to crack as blue light spills out. The light soon floods the area and Sirius is forced to close his eyes. When he opens them once more, he is on his back with Sunset and Fluttershy staring at him worried.

Fluttershy helps him up. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah. I just saw this weird vision when I touched the card." He lifts the card to see that it is blank again. "What?"

"This is weird, and that is saying something given what has happened before." Sunset gets a call on her cellphone. "Hello?"

A shout comes from the other side. "He's awake Sunset."

"What, who Pinkie?"

"Gold, he's awake! et back to the hospital quick!"

"Ok, on our way." Sunset hangs up. "Gold is awake... and he may just have the some idea on what Sirius has seen."
