A tank that flashed into existence

The Tarascus

Malt and his friends were driving in the Tarascus, going after the rouge Taranis that killed the president, destroyed the city and kidnapped their other group of friends. Hax sent out a comm to the children, giving them a critical warning.

“Target objective Taranis acquired. Now entering enemy’s radar range…”

Malt felt his eyes widen as he felt his heart jump and loose his balance for a bit. Malt looked up, seeming confused at the situation while Kyle spoke it at malt.

“What’s the big deal, zoning out like that, malt?”

Sheena walked up, speaking up in malts defense.

“Can you blame him? We’re all pretty worn out…”

Malt began to recall him dying, but he was fired from the soul cannon and the Tarascus doesn’t have that… does it…?

Hax was brought out of his hibernation mode as the tanks motion detector went off, going to his visual display to see what was going on. Hax could see a feral chimera agonizing over something that happened to it, making Hax do a double take on what he saw.

“A real life chimera.. how curious and is that smoke… flying on its own…?”

Hax saw the smoke fly past the Exo-Taranis in a hurry which made him curious on what made this smoke to make haste. Soon a group of ponies walked up to the chimera, making it seem like they were domesticated creatures when he heard them speak in a language not known to him. Hax realized that they were possibly in danger, so with much effort he aimed his cannons at the chimera and ready to fire.

Twilights POV:

Twilight Sparkle and her group of allies were walking down the dirt path, her allies being a group of mares from the town of ponyville to defeat the evil Nightmare Moon from creating a eternal night upon the planet. Soon the group arrived to a large clearing before a large manticore let out a roar of anger. Twilight and the group backpedaled from the beast, shocked from its aggression. It didn’t take long until Everypony ,except Fluttershy, to dig their hoof on the ground ready to charge at the manticore.

BOOM

Everypony fell to their hooves, covering their ears and eyes from a loud sound caused them to cower from it. It was when the sound of something flesh tearing apart and the roar of the manticore when they opened their eyes again. They got up, looking around curiously for the thing that went made that sound of lightning. When they would find nothing, they all grouped up together to discuss what happened.

“What the hay was that!? Shoot it sounded like old bessie rolling in tree one time we forgot to put its brake on but louder..”
Applejack said as rarity spoke up.

“I believe that was absolutely dreadful.. what made that sound..?”
Rarity’s question hung in the air before pinkie blurted put her guess.

“Ibetitwasacannonthatlooksscadybutisfriendlybecauseweareadventures!”

Fluttershy looked around, seeing a big shadow in the trees that had a horn and bright spots on it.

“G… girls…?

Rainbow Dash flew towards to where the manticore was once at, seeing a mass of blood and gore was what’s left of it.

“Buck… whatever it is left it in a bloody mess… heh bet it’s too scared to come out here and show itself!”

Rainbow said confidently as twilight approached her, shaking her head to the Pegasus’s overconfidence before talking.

“Whatever it is… is dangerousness enough to kill a manticore in a single attack so we shouldn’t be trying to provoke it”

Fluttershy repeated her words a little bit louder.

“G.. Girls..”

Rarity spoke up, completely ignoring Fluttershy, to press her displeasure in the situation.

“And might I say it was a tad brutish to kill the manticore… simply scaring it away might have been better than…. This…”

Rarity said while rotating her hoof exaggerating her point. Rainbow looked at Rarity in disbelief before yelling at her.

“You’re worried about a little blood!? That’s a full grown manticore Rarity! A little noise wouldn’t have scared it off!”

Applejack huffed and walked up to the pair, their arguing getting on her last nerves before adding herself into the argument.

“You two are more stubborn than a hog staying clean longer than fives seconds..!”

Fluttershy shouted at the top of her lungs, had enough of the banter between the three mares.

“GIRLS!!!!”

“WHAT!?”

The trio of mares shouted at Fluttershy which made her back away from them before responding with a stutter.

“I…. I… it’s…. Is right t… there…!”

She pointed a hoof towards the woods, causing Everypony to look over at what she pointed before stepping back in shock. Everypony except Fluttershy shouted in fear.

“WHAT IS THAT!?!?”

Nightmare Moons POV:

Flying through the air towards the castle of the two sisters, cackling in glee that those mares will have a torn in their side to deal with. Landing at the other side of the bridge past ghastly gorge, she untied both ropes that kept the bridge up cackling again in excitement. Her cackling laughter went silent when a loud sound bellowed from where she left those mares.

BOOM

“What was that..? Thay sound of lightning but there was no bolt of it anywhere…”

Nightmare moon was confused, her sister told her that she wouldn’t win… and the elements of harmony will beat her again. What a foolish gambit that mare tried to scare her with, they be not with her when she arrived at her new castle. Did she mean that she had another way to defeat her…? Whatever it is… she will not be sealed into the moon again!

Hax’s POV:

Hax finally got the attention of the ponies even with all their arguing back and forth. It was nice that ponies had some sort of owners that kept them in line. The ponies got closer to the Exo-Taranis which was made Hax questions got even more complicated to what and where he was, the ponies were a mix of pegasi, unicorns and regular ponies. It was when they got together when he heard them talking. Unfortunately Hax had no clue on what they were saying, having no knowledge about their language and culture. Using his speaker, Hax asked them a question that would determine whether or not if they would be able to understand him.

“こんにちは、私の名前はHaxです。私の言っていることが分かりますか？”

The ponies backed away from the Taranis in shock but as it began talking, not being able to understand them. When the purple mare horn glowed again is when Hax asked again.

“Salutations, je m'appelle Hax. Peux-tu me comprendre..?”

Hax was absolutely confused, being able to speak a whole new language all of a sudden, it would’ve made Hax tear up had he be able too.. The white unicorn could understand him but she wasn’t well versed in prench so the purple mare tried again, hoping it would work. Hax was running low on patience with them, feeling it was useless to try and talk to them but tried once more, in something the ponies could understand.

“Greetings, my name is Hax. Can you understand me..?”

Hax was dumbfounded, a third language that was not even what he would consider normal but to the natives it made more sense…

Hax had learned both prench and equis in a matter of seconds. The ponies however looked at him in awe.

The purple mare asked Hax what was he.. which Hax responded to them with their answer.

“I am both the Taracus and Taranis combined…. Simply put im the Exo-Taranis..”
