G5 Adventures in Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf
Monster Road Rally Madness (Part 4: A Roadway Rescue)

Googie’s screams for help echoed across the entire forest while the Mane 6, Indigo, Sparky, Shaggy and Scooby looked back in terror as the Hunch Bunch carried them away. “Oh, sweet sauce horseshoe toss!” Izzy yelped out of panic. “What do we do?!”
“We have to go after them, but we’re not nearly as fast as any race car!” Zipp said with wide eyes. “We have to find another way to go after them! Right, Indy? Uh… Indy?”
“...he took me from my clan… he made me do his bidding… and now he wants to take my friends from me?!” Indigo snarled, her eyes glowing a bright blue out of nothing but anger. “That… TEARS IT!!!! Dracula is so not gonna get away with this!”
Indigo let out a roar that pierced the air and hurt the others' ears at first, and the other flying leopards soon flew in, looking panicked. “Indy! We heard you roaring!” Heather cried. “What happened?”
“The Hunch Bunch took Scrappy and Googie and they’re flying away!” Misty cried out. “We have to follow them!”
“Say no more!” Cyrus cried. “Come on! If we hurry, we can catch up to them before they get too far!”
“Right! Hang on, Scoob!” Shaggy told his best friend before he turned the car around, and the Mane 6 and the Werewolf Wagon followed the flying leopards after the Hunch Bunch, hoping they could save their friends before it was too late.

“Well now,” said Dracula as he watched the Werewolf Wagon speed off in the opposite direction that the other racers were heading, “it looks like Shaggy is setting a new course speed record. Unfortunately for him, it is in the wrong direction!”
But then, he noticed that Indigo and her entire clan were with the Werewolf Wagon, as well as the Mane 6.
And then he began to wonder... should he be worried that this plan will be botched up as well?

“Come on, guys, pick up the pace!” Draven shouted in alarm as they continued to chase after the Bat-Copter. “They’re taking your friends into the Burnt Forest! And we flying leopards know that there’s only one thing dangerous enough to kill your friends in that direction!”
“Help!” Googie cried out from the air. “Shaggy! HEEEELP!!!”
“Like, keep cool, guys!” Shaggy shouted to reassure them. “Cool? No no no. What's called for here is an application of heat. Hot stuff-- I mean, hot,” Brunch smirked as they approached a huge pit of bubbling lava in the middle of the forest. “Such as a dip in Lava Pit Lake.”
“Lava Pit Lake?!” Hitch cried out in panic. “That’s a thing!”
“One of the hottest lakes in Transylvania!” Maya screeched. “And your friends are gonna be dropped into it!”
“What do we do, Sunny?!” Zipp asked in panic. That’s when Sunny caught sight of two large trees about the same size on different sides of the lake, and instantly formulated an idea. “I got it! If we can move those trees together, we can make a makeshift ramp that Googie and Scrappy can ride down to safety!”
“But we need to work fast!” Heather pointed out. “And the only way we can do that is to split up!”
“Shaggy, you and Scooby work on the tree on the left side of the lake,” Misty said, “and us ponies will work with Indigo and her clan to chop down the other one!”
“BREAK!!”
And just like that, the groups split up, just as the Bat-Copter came over Lava Pit Lake. “Toodle-oo, little crew. It’s bye-bye time!”
Googie screamed as she and Scrappy were released from the Bat-Copter's claw, but luckily, Sunny's plan was already in place-- Shaggy used a pair of giant teeth from the Werewolf Wagon to chop down the first tree, while all the ponies and leopards used their combined abilities to knock the other one down, and they both fell down right on each other, creating a ramp for Googie and Scrappy to ride down to safety.
Once she and Scrappy were safely back on the ground, Googie turned to the rest of the group. “Thanks, guys. Now you better get back in the race, and hurry.”
“Right-- we still have a race to win!” Pipp said as she, Sunny and Misty got back in the Werewolf Wagon, while Izzy, Hitch and Zipp, along with Sparky, got back into Shaggy’s car. “And you guys need to go into hiding,” Indigo told her teammates. “If Dracula saw you working with us, we could all be in for it.”
“Okay… but we’ll be around if you need us,” Cyrus told her, nuzzling her head before they flew off, and before Indigo rejoined her friends in the Werewolf Wagon. But at that moment, the group saw the Hunch Bunch flying overhead, causing Misty to groan slightly. “Here come those double dipsticks again.”
“No problem,” Scrappy reassured. “We’ll keep ‘em out of your hair. Er… manes.”
“Now, get back in that race and win, Shag,” Googie told her boyfriend sincerely, “or you’re a fur ball forever!”
She planted one large kiss on Shaggy’s face, causing him to howl out of pleasure before the Werewolf Wagon sped out of the Burnt Forest and back toward the track. “Come on! Let’s make like the wind and blow!” Scrappy told the rest of his team. “Get it? Let’s scram!”
“Nice use of the pun, Scrappy!” Zipp chuckled before the car sped off in a different direction as the Werewolf Wagon.

Once Crunch and Brunch saw that the others had rescued Googie and Scrappy, they knew they needed another plan to stop Googie and Scrappy, as well as their small team of Equestrians, from helping Shaggy win the race.
So, Crunch was geared up with a huge, heavy ball with spikes on it and was lowered from the Bat-Copter by Brunch, getting ready to strike them down. “I say, old top”! Brunch called down. “Give them the old one-two!”
“Yeah!” Crunch cackled sinisterly as the group approached a tunnel. “One-two…”
However, while the group went through the tunnel no problem, Crunch slammed into the side of it, dropping his weapon in the process.
Unfortunately, Zipp looked behind the group once they got out of the tunnel, only to see that the Hunch Bunch hadn’t given up just yet. “Uh-oh! Dippy and Trippy are still after us!”
And this time, Crunch was holding out a hive full of bees. “Vampire bees,” Brunch clarified. “The most vicious beasts on Earth. I say, old top, give it the old hive-ho.”
“Hive-ho, hive-ho,” Crunch sang. “To dirty work we go.”
However, Brunch wasn’t all that impressed with Crunch’s singing. “I say, do shut up and throw it, old dear.”
Crunch threw the hive down toward the group, but instead of the bees attacking them, they simply chose to attack the Hunch Bunch instead, sending them on the run.

After a few minutes, Sunny looked off in relief to see their friends driving up beside them, safe and sound. “Hey, guys!” she waved. “If you don’t mind me asking, what happened to the Hunch Bunch?”
“No problem, Sunny-Bunny!” Izzy brushed off with a playful smirk. “They’re off getting a bite.”
“Yeah! A lot of bites,” Scrappy added with a giggle. “Come on, gang,” Googie then urged. “Let’s get back on track.”
“Right,” Hitch said as the two cars sped forward. “It’s time to win this road rally once and for all!”
