G5 Adventures in Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf

As dinner began to wrap up, the group began to watch a scary movie in the living room, after Shaggy decided that Indigo and all her clanmates could stay with him, Scooby and Scrappy at their house until they found a permanent place to call their own.

And this was honestly a prayer that the leopards had prayed for a long time that had finally come true.

Googie turned to her boyfriend, who was quickly munching on one of the leftover slices of pizza. “Shaggy, don't eat so fast. You'll get the hiccups and turn into a werewolf again.”

“Are you kidding?” Shaggy agreed with his mouth full. “Like, no way.”

“She has a point, Shaggy,” Zipp advised her friend gently. “It happened before, and it could happen again.”

Shaggy only laughed in response. “No way!”

The Mane 6 shrugged and turned their attention back to the TV, but not even a second afterward, a hiccup came through the air, followed by a growl, which caused Izzy to gasp. “Oh, no! Not again!”

But when Googie and the others turned, they saw that Shaggy was fine. “Oh, Shaggy!” Googie frowned at such a thoughtless act. “You nerd!”

“But that wasn’t him, Googie,” Indigo shook her head. “It was… SCOOBY!!”

The others looked in Scooby’s direction and screamed-- Scooby was the one turned into a werewolf this time! Fortunately for them, Scooby took off the werewolf mask, revealing that he too was just fine. “Just kidding! Scooby-Dooby-Dooooooo!!! Hee hee hee hee hee!!”

Shaggy found himself laughing while the others tried to catch their breath. “That was a good one old buddy, old pal, old friend.”

“Oh, honestly!” Googie sighed. “Oh, come on, Googie, lighten up!” Cyrus reassured her. “Believe me, we're all through with those werewolves and vampires and monsters forever.”

“Well, I don’t know about forever,” Maya shrugged, “but… I’m glad that we’re all gonna be together in case anything does come our way.”

But suddenly, the portal back to Equestria swiftly appeared, causing Sunny to sigh. “Well, ponies, that’s our cue to head home.”

“Will we ever see you guys again?” Draven asked. “Zipp and I still have a race to get to!”

“We’ll see you guys again someday, I just know it!” Zipp told the leopard. “Take care of each other, okay?”

Indigo nodded firmly. “Forever and for always.”

And so, the group exchanged their final farewells before the ponies and Sparky set off through the portal to return home.

Hitch sighed as he and his friends walked down the ramp to the main living room. “It is SO good to be back home again-- Shaggy was right about that part.”

“Definitely,” sighed Pipp. “I mean, Transylvania was exciting enough, even without the race and the monsters and the cheating and… well… everything else.”

“So… what do you guys wanna do now that we’re back?” Sunny asked. “I was thinking I could make us some smoothies, and…”

Suddenly, the soft sound of snoring caught their attention, and Misty and Izzy and Sparky had already fallen asleep on the couch, causing the others to giggle. “Looks like a nap is next on our agenda,” Zipp smiled. “We can always do our own thing later.”

The others nodded before settling down and closing their eyes to get some sleep.

This adventure was definitely wild and different… but it was one that the Mane 6 and Sparky would never forget.

But don’t worry-- there will definitely be more adventures to come from our faithful band of Equestrian heroes.
