As she raised a hoof to knock on the door, Tempest Shadow idly thought that had she tried to tell her past self she would have encountered the Elements of Harmony at the beach on friendly terms, she would have... probably been too busy attacking the clone or changeling or whatever was trying to impersonate her. But here she was, about to offer Fluttershy some help with... something.
"I'd normally do it for her, you see, but I've got quite a lot on my plate right now, and Twilight tells me you've been doing well retraining to use your horn," Rarity had barely explained while trying to wrangle a chaotic mess of clothing scattered around her hotel room after three stowaway fillies had literally burst out of the unicorn's large suitcase.
"Well, yes, I've been trying to practise and get better control of my magic and telekinesis but it's still a little.... zappy. Look," She'd said, carefully lifting an orange from a bowl, sparks of electricity arcing out from the glow of levitation. A considerable step forward, true, but the small burns and scorch marks slowly popping up over the skin of the fruit proved there was still a long road ahead.
"Don't worry, Fluttershy is a Pegasus, darling! That will tickle at most, I expect, she may not be a weather pony but she's still able to take a good bit more electricity than an Earth or Unicorn pony. Now, I need to try and get these clothes and swimsuits all fixed up since SOMEPONIES decided to hide in a suitcase and cause chaos! When Applejack and Rainbow Dash get their hooves on them...."
Still, Tempest wasn't entirely reassured. Rarity had been vague on exactly what this actually entailed, but given that reminder the Pegasus could (probably?) handle the electrical side effects of her poorly controlled magic, she worried that perhaps, this could backfire....
Taking a breath, she knocked. A yelp of surprise came from inside the room, and a moment later the door opened cautiously, the nervous yellow-furred mare peeking out.

"Er, sorry about that. But Rarity sent me, actually, she said you need help with something only a unicorn can really do? She said to say the Cutie Mark Crusaders were hiding in her suitcase and made a mess."
Fluttershy blinked, and then blushed a little.
"Oh dear. Um... Did she explain what it is?"
"...No," Tempest said, which seemed to be the wrong answer as Fluttershy merely blushed harder, and mumbled something.
"Didn't catch that, sorry?"
Fluttershy mumbled again and opened the door, Tempest interpreting the wave of her wing as an invitation in, the pegasus still glowing red.
Giving her a moment to try and compose herself, Tempest waited as the blush faded slightly, and Fluttershy managed to speak up at a semi-audible volume.
"I... can get sunburn, especially in salty air. Most ponies can stay in sunlight much longer than me but all the salty air makes it so parts of me without fur might burn if they get too much sunlight," She managed to say.
"Well, that's not really too bad, it's nothing to be embarrassed about, is i- wait. Parts without fur?"
Tempest added the sums up as Fluttershy squeaked out the answer simultaneously.
"The tip of my nose, my inside ears, my... teats, and, um...."
"Below your tail?" Tempest tried to be diplomatic.
Fluttershy nodded.
"Okay, so, how is it I can help you out with that?"
Fluttershy waved a wing at a small metal tin of cream on a dresser.
"That's a sunblock, it, um...."
Tempest carefully picked it up, wincing as the metal sparked slightly in her grasp, and looked at the instructions.
"Apply via unicorn magic.... Rub into at risk areas, ideally until no shine remains to ensure maximum effects, apply twice if areas remain damp? I guess I could help with... that...."
She looked at the sparks. She remembered the spots she'd be rubbing this cream into.
She really hoped Fluttershy could indeed handle a little electric shock or two.
"I.... I know it's a little odd, but, if I don't have it done I really can't go on the beach," Fluttershy sighed.
"Uh... don't worry about it, I can give it a go, but, you know my telekinesis isn't super... safe, right? You can see the sparks?"
Fluttershy nodded.
"It should be okay, I don't work with lighting much but I'm still a pegasus."
Tempest hid her own mild embarrassment as she opened the tin, the lid squeaking open with a small storm of sparks around it as it span.
"We'll start with your ears at least, see if it's okay, since, well, if it's not I don't think you want electrical burns in the other places, right?" Tempest said with a nervous chuckle.
Fluttershy merely nodded, as Tempest scooped out a small amount of the cream and brought it over. A spark shot out and hit Fluttershy as it neared, making the Pegasus gasp.
"O-oh! That tickled a little...."
Tempest had paused nervously, but as Fluttershy spoke, she felt herself release a breath she hadn't even realised she'd been holding.
"Just tickles? Not hurting or burning?"
"No, I don't think so. It's actually almost nice?"
Tempest looked at the floating blob, shooting out the occasional spark to no apparent effect on Fluttershy's skin. She gently moved it in, and began trying to spread it, even as Fluttershy giggled a little.

Fluttershy giggled and snorted, trying to hold still, as slowly, Tempest managed to rub the cream in despite the sparkles of electricity shooting around the area causing more squeaks and suppressed laughs from Fluttershy.
