Heart Souls: The Loss of Harmony

Bright and Bubbles sweated as they met the pink menace—the professor that they both disliked the most.

The pink pony smiles lovingly to them all, but to Bubbles and Bright, hers was a grin that sends terror to their very souls.

" To you–!?" Bright falls silent as he feels a presence that creeped to his blindspot, a sense of malicious killing intent slowly appearing out of nowhere. He would've reacted and tried to counter it somehow, but the hardened knight stallion was struck by fear and hopelessness as it was too late to react. Its hoof has already gotten a hold at his back, and as he slowly looked behind him, the grin that can beat a serial killer's smile was right at his face; Pinkie Pie was already at his back.

Everyone was caught off guard that the pony was already behind Bright and was already getting a hold of him. Is this a show of power? A show that she can do whatever she wants with them at anytime? With the feat she showed, she could definitely do.

As they returned to their senses, they tried to go on a defensive and would attempt to draw their weapons at her. But she would not allow them the opportunity to do so.

The others would not feel her presence, but a sudden chill in their backs would be felt as she appeared behind them.

And the dread that Bright felt would soon be realized by Tapper as the pink mare appears behind him.

Hopelessness and dread engulf Tapper and accept death as the mare behind him begins to grin and open its mouth: "WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!–" Tapper dropped his weapon as he got an earful of Pinkie's singing while she vanished out unnoticeably by his back and appeared behind Bluebell in the same manner, which caused her to jolt in shock and misfire her fireball to the air. "–TO ALL MY NEW FRIENDS HERE!–" She does this to Cross and Treasure as well, causing them to panic and jolt "– I WELCOME YOU, TO PONYVILLE–", "What in tarnatio–!?",—"–WITH A KISS FOR YOU–" smack. A kiss was given at the forehead of Bright, "–AND YOU–" Then Bubbles, " AND DEF-NIT-LY FOR YOU!" And lastly, she gave a kiss to Bluebell, with balloons and cake given to her.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDDO!" The pink hurricane catastrophe ended her song with that and back at the entrance of Ponyville.

" I hope you all visit the stores and sites in Ponyville to fully enjoy your vacation here!"

She then appeared behind Quilt out of nowhere and whispered, "This isn't a shameful insert or anything, but do visit Sugar Cube Corner, alright? I'll give you a five percent discount, NO, make it ten percent, and a buy one, take one promo as well! She ended up yelling at her ear and a wink to them as she hopped back in their village.

Everyone was exhausted with that short exchange with her as everyone was tensed and was trying to react to her movements, which even Bubbles couldn't follow.

" I, I still can't match her speed..." Bubbles was wide-eyed and stunned.

" It's not speed, Bubbles; it's not. If even the great rainbow dash couldn't outrun her, what makes you think anyone can?" Bright answered.

" Oh... So if I beat her, then I practically achieved what Rainbow Dash couldn't then?" She grinned and had an idea.

" How did she do that?" Cross asked.

" The real question is, why are we still alive?" Treasure replied.

" I have cake!" Bluebell yelled and ate the hole thing in a second. " I like her!"

" To answer all your question, it's because she's Pinkie Pie," Bright answered, and Bubbles shook her head in agreement.

"So how're we supposed to handle her then?" Treasure asked.

" Yeah, shes like a ninja or something?" Tapper added, while Bluebell misunderstood. " What's a ninja? Is it this cake?"

Quilt would quickly swat the cake, whats left of it that is. " Hey!"

" You shouldn't be even eating that! What if it's poisoned?"

" Well... I do feel weird... Like, I want more."

Everyone would argue and panic on how to handle this pink menace, as she was very unpredictable.

" So how do we stop her and get her amulet then?" Quilt ended up asking.

" We can only get lucky, or put her off of her mood; in other words, we observe her and find a weakness, and besides, she hasn't killed us yet. So I think we can afford to observe her and not be on her bad side, right Bubbles?"

" Hey, I prefer not to mess around with her," which sends shivers down her back just thinking about it.

" But what about the town though? What's going on? Why is it so... clean?" Cross pointed out, and everyone was astonished as the place was very peaceful and nice, as if it wasn't affected by the chaos happening in Equestria in a decade.

The sky was clear and blue as the pegasi worked to maintain the weather. The trees and grass are greener and healthier. the flower blooms, where the birds and butterflies fluoric to the air. The homes are clean and maintained, making the place more welcoming, warm, and calming.

" This place...are we just used to chaos and destruction that we question this place's existence?" Quilt doubts the place as it was too good to be true that Ponyville regained their peace.

Apple, on the other hand, would have tears in her eyes. " It is true. Ponyville IS paradise! Thank you, my lords, for saving me." She bows down and begins kissing their hooves.

" Ey ey! Don't do that!" Tapper reacted first.

Meanwhile, Bluebell didn't mind and kind of enjoyed it.

" Ey hold yer horses, we ain't sure yet if this is real or not. And howver you lookit, it's too good to be true," Treasure pointed out.

" Yes, very impossible... In your time, what was the state of your world? Mine, although it wasn't as bad as yours, we were already being attacked by creatures from another dimension, destroying most of the settlements, including Ponyville," Bright asked.

" That's true, as it seems bright and my time line seems to be near each other. What I recall is Canterlot, Manehattan, the Crystal Empire, and Cloudsdale remained." Bubbles Added.

" What... That fast!?" Bright reacted. Regret and frustration can be seen in his face.

Bubbles tried to pat his back and calm him down. He slumped, and his mood grayed, but his mood slowly got better thanks to her.

"Um, well, I don't know what's happening outside the castle. The only time I got out of the castle was to march through the desert..." Bluebell reported.

Tapper cringed. " Damn kid... Well, the Crystal Empire and Canterlot were the only known cities standing against the invasion."

"Well, I guess we had a civil war, and Ponyville was at the center of all of it."

"Well, fuck Cloudsdale, Canterlot didn treat me any better. Haven't heard of them Civil War nor the invasion, just slave work and abuse."

"Well, I've heard about the Civil War. It was really chaotic," Cross shared.

" Oh? So which side are you on then?" Quilt casually asked.

" Uhh. Pass." Cross remained confidential.

" Hmm..." Quilt was really curious and seems to be looking for trouble at this point, which Cross saw and tactfully avoided conflict against Quilt.

"Hey, the past is in the past, and what's important is now, okay? I don't wanna end up ruining our friendship because of having sides," Cross defended himself.

" Hmmm... That's friendship talk right there." Quilt began doubting him.

This frustrated Cross a bit and didn't like where this conversation was going." Hey! No! You know what? I'm not talking directly to you anymore."

Bright had to intervene at this point, as this is causing a divide in the group. " What'd you think you're doing, Quilt? That kind of behavior is uncalled for, especially from you," he scolded.

She too thought so as well and was frustrated by her actions. " Sorry! It's just. It's all my fault. Sorry Cross, I don't know what got in to me." She hurriedly got near him and gave a pat on the shoulder.

"Well, that's good then," he gave a hoof shake, while Bluebell pounced on both of them and gave a hug.

The group would continue to mess around the entrance, not noticing that they're blocking the way of an earth pony carrying a cart full of apples. "It's nice y'all getting along, but i much appreciate you don't block ma way."
