Isolated from Fellowship

After getting into teleported into the royal pond and disturbing the animals there with his scream of rage, a patrol of two guards apprehended Spring from the pond.

The two guards were both rookies but were still brainless idiots that asked even dumber questions.

“How did you get here? Who summoned you here? Are you here to overthrow our princess? Are you in anyway involved with princess Celestia’s disappearance!?”

Spring was absolutely confused with what was going on, he was randomly teleported into the pound by that horse Twilight Sparkle and now this…? Today was not his day.. and before he could ask any questions of his own he was cuffed, muzzled and wing-bound before the guards roughly dragged him to the barracks.

—Thirty minutes later—

After being physically dragged without any reason and tossed into a cell with a single stallion in it. The stallion lit his horn and picked up Spring with a levitation spell and placed him in a chair across from him. Being able to see the stallion more clearly, it was the Captain of the royal guard. Having only seeing his name a couple of times and seeing him within the Sparkle’s Family photo album put him in a different light, the stallion was smarter than the grunts but also family with that horse.

Spring looked up at the stallion before smiling softly.

“I believe this is all a misunderstanding…”

Springs smile disappeared after the captain began to talk.

“Spring Root: multiple disruptions to the general public, three harassment complaints, several thefts (which were dropped), being banished from Las Pegasus for illegal gambling and two assaults of officers.”

The captain, Shinning Armor, said as he looked at a report that was being reviewed by himself.

“Two assaults of officers!? Who!?”

Spring Root shouted which made shinning armor look at the door. Looking over, Spring saw the two rookies looking at him with scowls on their face.

“Seriously…!? They assaulted me!”

Spring was seriously angry with how they were treating him. And it got worse as the captain got up and walked up to the door with the file. Before Shining Armor left the cell, he looked over at Spring before smiling.

“Oh and evading arrest… you will be dealt with the highest authority in the land…”

Shinning armor said, before lighting his horn. Spring couldn’t help but slam his head onto the table groaning loudly.

“Oh the ponality… being banished from las Pegasus to this… I wish I never had down that wanted add for needing a librarian at ponyville…”

Spring would briefly be left alone in the cell, shortly passing out due to being exhausted and hungry.

—An unknown time later—

Waking up abruptly as the cell door opens up to reveal a large mare entering the cell. Backing away from the door before bowing respectfully.

“Princess Celestia…!?”

Princess Celestia stands at the doorway, smiling softly before responding.

“At ease my little pony… I heard that my student met a pony that was very rude to her… I’d like to know what happened..”

Looking up at the princess, Spring chuckled softly before responding.

“W… well princess it um… I was reading a book when this pony began to insult me…-“

Princess Celestia rolls her eyes, looking at Spring before responding.

“Look I’m not going to sugar coat this.. being in trouble with the law already, I’m willing to drop them if you can make friends with my student and her friends…”

Spring looked at her with confusion before asking the worst question ever to ask.

“W… who is your student…?”

—Ponyville, outside the Ponyville library—

A flash of gold appeared outside a large tree building, revealing both Princess Celestia and Spring Root in its place as princess Celestia knocked on the front door much to the dismay of Spring.

“Please princess… she’s insane…! And I’m far to insane for her to deal with…”

Spring said, begging to not be stuck living with the mare that slapped him and with the baby dragon. It wasn’t until the door opened that the baby dragon, known as Spike, saw Princess Celestia.

“P- Princess Celestia..!?! Y… your back e.. early w… with…. You!!!!”

Spring looked away, wincing with regret as the dragon narrowed his eyes at him which got a swift response from him.

“Trust me I’d rather not be here…-”

Before Spring could say anything to dig a hole deeper into his situation, unfortunately a certain purple unicorn appeared beside the baby dragon.

“You again….!? You have some nerve to…. To….-“

Twilights sentence died in her mouth as her eyes gazed at her teacher and ruler of Equestria, Princess Celestia. The uncomfortable silence sat for a while before Celestia spoke up.

“Twilight my faithful student… Spring Root has agreed to apologize to you and spike and is willing to try and make amends..”

Spring nodded slowly before looking away, trying to keep a brave face as he was being humiliated in front of his rival. Twilight nodded before letting Spike enter the treehouse.

“Would you like to come in…?”

Twilight asked as Princess Celestia shook her head no, promptly getting a response back.

“No thank you Twilight, thank you for offering. I have to get back to Canterlot.”

Twilight nodded before Celestia disappeared with a bright flash. Leaving Twilight and Spring alone. Spring was first to break the silence.

“S… so… I’d like to-“

“SLAM—“

Spring was left speechless, Twilight had violently shut the door in the middle of his apology and swiftly locked the door.

“O… ok I guess I’ll buck off then…”

Spring said before walking away from the treehouse, entering town just as everypony began to shut their blinds and doors from his presence.

“Well buck”

Was all Spring said before heading toward the forest, before he could enter the large forest a group of baby ducks emerged from a bush and began to surround him. Spring gently smiled before carefully laying down so the ducks could jump onto his back before falling asleep.

Spring felt himself be giddy as a bunch of ducks were using him as a bed before feeling tired himself. Laying his head down, spring closed his eyes as a pony walked up Spring with another animal in tow.
