Lavender

The first thing I notice when I wake up is a scent of lavender with a side of my marefriend snuggling up to me.
When I see her face, the events of last night course through my mind and my face heats up 100 degrees.

Me and Rarity have been dating a few weeks officially even though we’ve been flirting back and forth for months, but I finally worked up the courage to ask her out, and it’s been an amazing few weeks just enjoying each other's company, going on dates all the time, about everything a couple does, expect you know.

Last night was our first ever time. And I don’t mean to sound biased but it was the absolute best, Rarity was the absolute best.

I was still processing when Rares started moving around and clinging onto me tighter with light snores coming out her mouth.

“You know, you’re really cute when you snore.” I said smirking

“A lady does not snore Twilight.” She said groggily

“I thought you were asleep.” I said stroking her mane

“Oh, quiet Twi how can you blame me for wanting more sleepy time with my marefriend?” She asked yawning

“I guess not, I am pretty amazing.” I said nuzzling up to her

She laughed and wow, was it me or did it get hot suddenly

“I see.” Rarity smiled, “Someone’s full of herself this morning.”

I raised one eyebrow “Can you blame me?”

She rolled her eyes “I guess not darling.”

We laid there in each other's embrace for a few moments, I would've laid there for eternity. But of course my alarm clock had to go off. I took a look at the clock and it was 7. A little later than usual but I wanted to make sure I had as much time I could with Rarity before I had to get going.

“Hmmp” Rarity groaned “It's too early.” She brushed back my bangs “Do you have to get going already?”

“I have a while before I have to go to Canterlot, I made sure of it so we could eat breakfast.”

She kissed my cheek “Well aren't you ever so thoughtful dear.” She sat up “Oh well we better get started on breakfast, no time to waste.”

I sighed, sure I was hungry but if i was being honest I wanted to just stay in bed all day with Rarity.

I pulled her back down with my magic and enveloped her with my hooves into a hug. “C’mon a few more minutes won’t hurt.” I said as I nuzzled my face into the crook of her neck.

She laughed, “Twilight, that tickles stop it.”

“No way.”

I stopped on account to a pillow being thrown at me with blue aura surrounding it.

“Rarity.”

“Yes, my beautiful darling marefriend.” No doubt trying to sweet talk her way out this “What is it?” She asked innocently.

Another pillow hit my face. Oh no way in Equestria was I going down without a fight. I picked up 2 pillows with my magic and plowed them at my marefriend.

“Twilight Sparkle!” she shrieked

“What Rarity.” I smirked innocently

“Hmmp” she rolled her eyes “You’re impossible.”

I pulled her into another hug. Moments like these I cherish small or big.

I sighed “As much as I like this we should probably go make breakfast.”

Like her stomach had a mind of it’s own and heard me it grumbled

She blushed flustered “I think you’re right darling.”
