Me and Rarity sat in silence, we did this a lot, sat in silence and just enjoyed each other's company. Me and Rares have been dating for a year now and ever since I got my castle a month she’s been practically living here, mostly because she knows how I don’t like being alone in this big castle.

“Darling?” I glanced up from my book to see her staring at me thoughtfully. “You have that look on your face.”

“What look on my face?” I asked and gently closed my book.

“I’ve known you for long enough to know all your Twilight looks.” She smiled and raised an eyebrow. “What’s on your mind dear?” She asked

“Just thinking.” I smiled

“Alright.” She didn't press on and went back to her sewing machine and I went back to my book.

After a few moments of silence I spoke up

“You know, you’ve been spending a lot of time here lately.” I said

“Yes, and?” She said while still sewing

“I mean, well and we’ve been together for a year now.”

Ever since our first date i’ve been enamored with Rarity, by our second date I had our 1 year anniversary planned in my head and now we're practically living together and now i’m struggling to officially ask her to move in with me. I mean really living together is a big step, a big change, what if she gets mad when she realizes I hate washing dishes or other little things.

“Yes Twilight, I'm aware.” She giggled

“So I think maybe, only if you want, you should start keeping your toothbrush here.” I internally cringed, keep your toothbrush here that makes no sense.

She glanced up confused, and then said “Twilight, darling are you asking me to move in with you?”

“Yes.” I squeaked

“You know I already basically live here?” She walked over to me and sat next to me. “I mean we’re sitting in my work room.”

I groaned “You’re teasing me.” I blushed “I know but I wanted to ask officially you know?”

She rested her hooves on mine

“I know darling, and I would be happy to move in with you officially.”
