Interlude: How Many Rooms?

“I can’t believe Mayor Stallion signed the approval for this house to be four floors tall~!” Elusive grinned as he and Rainbow Blitz surveyed the inner workings of the house so far. The bottom floor that had the living room on one side of the front door and the kitchen plus dining room with two big dining tables, was completely done. In front of the front door, the first sight entering the house was a spiral circular flight of stairs that moved up and had a stopping point for each floor. The circular set of stairs even left a big circular space that stopped at the roof, perfect for the pegasi in the herd to fly up the floors without even needing the stairs! In the living room was a fireplace constantly run by green dragon fire on enchanted logs made to last a lot longer than a regular log in a fireplace, with two big couches and a recliner with a big coffee table in the middle. Past a short hallway with two doors contained a room dedicated to Zecora’s cauldron, potions, and another room that would fit his bed double the size of a king bed as to fit all of them for orgies if need be. And it would definitely need to be.

Walking down the stairs to face both the rainbow-maned pegasus and the svelte unicorn femcolt, a supervisor overseeing the upstairs construction floated a clipboard and pen with his horn as he looked up at the two ponies.

“Okay, so we have the most important question for the rest of the house,” the construction manager spoke. “Besides a big bathroom with a stall on each floor, and a small room for closet space, how many bedrooms do you want on each floor?”

“Oh,” Rainbow Blitz and Elusive blushed at what seemed like a simple question on its face, the supervisor stallion’s expression remaining blank as they looked at each other. Elusive started. “Well, would it be one bedroom on each floor except the top floor, which would have two for a guest bedroom just in case?”

“As our herd stands right now, it would…” Rainbow Blitz grinned, his ears flattened against his mane as he blushed brightly and averted his eyes from Elusive’s questioning gaze. “But considering Zecora has a track record of bringing Elements of Harmony into his herd, wouldn’t it be far more appropriate to have seven rooms in the upper floors altogether? Two on the second and third, and three to include that guest room.”

“You cannot possibly think that Dusk Shine and Bubble Berry are going to get in on this?” Rainbow Blitz looked at Elusive as the white unicorn smiled and playfully rolled his eyes. “Darling, maybe Bubble Berry would be eager enough, but I think Dusk Shine would pass out at the mere idea.”

“He should live a little,” Rainbow Blitz stared at the floor as he grumbled. “Can’t possibly just be content with reading smut when he thinks we don’t notice…”

“Well, I think he is content with that,” Elusive shrugged as his smile faded. “But the excess of rooms couldn’t hurt, seeing as how it’d be leagues better than the two rooms in that cramped hut of ours.”

“Yes!” Rainbow Blitz flew a little bit up in the air before landing back on his four hooves, turning and looking at the construction supervisor who blushed the tiniest bit at their TMI conversation as he looked away. His eyes moved back onto the two striped ponies as Rainbow Blitz giggled. “Um, sorry we kind of forgot you were literally right there. Please, two bedrooms for the second and third floor, and three for the fourth one.”

“Agreed, thank you,” Elusive confirmed, and with both ponies on the same page, the supervisor was content with their answer as he turned around and trotted up the stairs, speaking to the other ponies. Rainbow Blitz and Elusive both looked up and grinned as they heard the unicorn construction workers casting their spells to create empty bedrooms, the work made twenty times shorter than it’d normally take thanks to the best of the best unicorns building a lot of it within days. Granted, Eris had offered the herd the fastest method possible: the Element of Chaos snapping her fingers and having it all be done within less than a second. But Rainbow Blitz and Elusive wanted some direction over the building structure before they’d bring her in and have her design their rooms.

The two moved aside as a group of unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies either levitated, carried, or walked with packages of supplies and stuff to move into the new house. As soon as all of them disappeared up the stairs, Rainbow Blitz and Elusive looked at each other with growing blushes.

“Talking about seducing a Prince, getting him absolutely railed by Zecora,” Rainbow Blitz whispered. “It’s a little scandalous, huh? What if one of them tells Dusk?”

“I kind of hope they do,” Elusive admitted with a grin as he looked away, blushing stronger from the confession, even if only Rainbow Blitz could hear it. “And of course, we could deny it up and down and Dusk would question it a little, seeing as he saw the newspapers. Don’t think he realizes that each and every one of us came to Zecora desperate to be used by him, and that he’s likely to fall into the same trap one way or another~”

“That’s so fucking hot,” Rainbow Blitz narrowed his eyes at his dearest herdmate, with Elusive smirking at him and walking past the blue pegasus and into the hallway past the stairs. Opening the door to Zecora’s room where the bed already was, Elusive smirked as he closed and locked the door behind him as he jumped on top of Rainbow Blitz and pressed his lips against the blue femcolt’s lips. Even without a dom to top the two bottoms, Elusive was more than happy to lovingly pass the time swapping tongues with Rainbow Blitz while construction upstairs was getting done. Their mutual arousal at the idea of Zecora somehow dominating and striping a royal alicorn spurring them both on as they got lost in each other…
