Flounder and Angel made it back to the ball, just in time for Queen Skystar to give every Hippogriff her speech.

"Excuse me, my fellow subjects." Skystar announced. "May I have your attention?"

Everypony and griff looked up at the queen and listened.

"We are here because we're going to make peace again, with the ponies from Equestria for the first time in forever. Many, many, many years ago, when the Storm King attacked Mt. Aris, my mother, Queen Novo, lead us to our next kingdom, Seaquestria. We were hiding for years, until Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends found us, and asked us to help them stop the Storm King. I was the only Hippogriff/seapony who helped. After he was dead, the seaponies came out of hiding and changed back into Hippogriffs. My mom broke the magic pearl into pieces for all of us. Princess Twilight opened a School of Friendship for all creatures around the world, and my cousin, Silverstream, was the first Hippogriff to the student. We Hippogriffs and seaponies were friends with the ponies, until an evil alicorn showed up and tempted the ponies to distrust each other, and worst of all, she was trying to steal all of the magic from around the world. Twilight protected us all by placing all the magic into the Unity Crystals.

We were all listening to Queen Skystar's speech, even I was pleased by her words.

"Throughout the years, we'd never had a touch with the ponies since the separation. Until, I received a message from them five weeks ago. And, they are here right now."

Skystar asked me to come up and say a few words, and so I did.

"Thank you, your Majesty." I say. "Well, I have to say you Hippogriffs and seaponies are amazing. Me and my friends are heroes of Equestria, before we came to Mt. Aris. Princess Twilight Sparkle had asked me and my friends to become friends with all the creatures from all over the world. I'm really glad and grateful you'd got our letter. Queen Skystar, we would like you to meet the ponies who'd brought back magic, they'd lived in a place called the Crystal Brighthouse in Maretime Bay. You may also meet Alphabittle Blossomforth, owner of the Crystal Tea Room in Bridlewood, and Queen Haven, ruler of Zephyr Heights. I promise you'll like it after for so many years."

"Well that's all amazing, and I can't wait to meet the ambassadors." said Queen Skystar. "Anyway, as queen of the Hippogriffs and seaponies, I hereby...."

Before Skystar could continue her speech, a strong wind was blowing around in the ballroom. I was sensing some trouble when I felt the wind. Then, magical black smoke entered the ballroom; everyone was watching in terror. The smoke was swirling in the middle of the room, and when it clears, it was Shelby.

"Hello, Hippogriffs." said Shelby.

"Shelby, what are you doing here?" Queen Skystar asked. "My mother banished you."

"Oh, hello Skystar, congratulations on being queen."

"Why are you here? And what do you want?"

"I'm here to deliver a message."

We were all observing the whole scene. Me and my friends were ready in case she was about to attack.

"Listen well, all of you!" Shelby announced. "I've been homeless and messy for too many moons. Novo kicked me out for not being a good Hippogriff. And I'll be soon ruling Mt. Aris and Seaquestria with my minions to chip away."

"Not today, or any other day, Shelby!" I shouted.

Me and my friends were powering up to get ready to fight. Shelby was shocked to see ponies at Mt. Aris.

Ponies? In Hippogriffia?" Shelby asked shockingly.

"That's right." said Ellagant Glare.

"Prepare to face the wrath of the Great Defenders of Friendship!" I say.

We began to attack Shelby, until she started to escape. But luckily, I placed a tracker on her before she fled. Shelby magically teleported herself away from Mt. Aris to her lair.

The ball was over, we ponies didn't get Queen Skystar's blessing all thanks to Shelby. Skystar, Angel, Flounder, and us defenders were sitting at the dining room table, talking about the incident at the ball.

"So that Hippogriff/seapony witch is named Shelby?" Seashell asked.

"Of course." Flounder answered.

"We were so close at having our ongoing friendship." I complained.

"It'll come." Angel said to me.

"Shelby knew Queen Novo before she was banished." said Bubble Burst.

"Queen Skystar, how much do you know about that baddie?" I asked the queen.

"Well, she was a close friend of my mother." Skystar said.

It started a long time ago, a few years after the Storm King invaded Mt. Aris. Shelby was tired of living in Seaquestria, she tried to convince Novo to return to the surface, but she couldn't. Novo wanted to remain underwater everyday. Shelby made her own rampage, and then Novo kicked her out of the kingdom.

"My mother was blind by her distrust, she kicked her close friend out of our homes." said Queen Skystar.

"I can't believe that happened." I said with disappointment. "Ponies just said: We create our own demons.""

"She said she was going to rule over all the Hippogriffs and seaponies." said Flounder.

"Well, we can't let that happen." said Peach Fizz.

"We got to find her and foil her evil plans." said Joydan Gallop.

"Luckily, I put a tracker on Shelby, so we could find out where her lair is." I said.

"Where is she right now?" Daytime Darwin asked.

I checked my GPS to see where Shelby is at, now. I looked and discovered that Shelby has made it to her lair.

"It looks like she made it to her hideout." I say.

Then, I locked up her current location to make sure it's saved. And, i made a map of how to get there.

"Now we know where to go." I say. And, we leave first thing in the morning. All of us, including, but not limited to, Sheldon Seahorse, Zion Zooplank, and Pearl Popps."

"Well ponies, if you're going on a quest across the whole ocean, you're also gonna need some support. I'm coming with you." said Princess Angel Adella. "Will you come, too, Flounder?" she asked her boyfriend.

"Definitely." Flounder said.

"Great." I exclaimed. "Let's do this!"
