Today is sure to be a grand day. You feel sure of it from your ears to your tail. There is something in the air, something new and different. The bustle of the town around you feels livelier than normal, but what could it mean?

Ponyville's town square is lively as ever. Two ponies are wandering past, each holding up one part of a mirror. You ignore them a moment to take a breath of the fresh air and marvel at the square itself. The Friendship Express chugs into place in the distance. Sugarcube Corner's delicious aromas tickles the air. You can see a pony emerging from Carousel Boutique.

The ponies hauling the mirror get in your way, allowing you to get a look at yourself as the mirror doesn't let you see much other than yourself and what was behind you. You decide to take the chance to make sure everything was in order.
